Chapter 11
The train departed, students and teachers took the places. The train was quite cosy, it had places for six people, on each side by three places, between the seats were not large tables. The friends along with Mai took the place, which was in the middle of the wagon.
"Hey guys, want to play cards?" Maki asked the group, she took out a pack of card, "I took them for the trip."
"I don't mind." Aki smiled, "It's a good way to spend time in a company."
"I'm in too." Pavel replied to the girl.
"I'm with you." Ren joined into the team, "And what about you?" she looked at the blonde girl, who was sitting next to her.
"Don't see why I should decline your offer." Mai looked at Ren.
Maki started to shuffle the card and started to give the cards to the friends.
"Puppy-dog feet is a trump." Maki said to the team.
"I have an ace." Ren showed the card to her friend, "Here." Ren gave the card to Mai; it was an eight of diamonds.
"By the way, Ren how was that?" Aki suddenly asked his classmate.
"What was?" Ren asked Aki too, as she didn't know what the boy wanted to know.
It was time to attack Aki, so the boy started, to look for a good card to ward off Mai's attack.
"The mission on protecting the politician." Aki explained, "How was it?"
"You mean that." Ren slightly smiled, "Pretty difficult I must admit. We were attacked by their elites."
"And who was there?" Maki asked her, taking the cards as she couldn't protect of Aki's attack.
"What were you doing during the meeting?" Ren watched at Maki, Ren sighed but continued, "Mystic, Wojciechowski, guys from 'Black Wing'."
"Was there a guy with flame abilities? He wears orange uniform." Maki added.
"Torch." Pavel replied, "No there was no him, why?"
"I thought, you'd give him a good kick at his ass." Maki said, "He gave us some troubles in Sapporo, so I thought, you'll be able to fight him."
"Don't worry, we'll definitely give him a good thrashing, when we meet him again." Pavel said to his friend, "I'm interested in these guys, who are working with them the woman with two swords, who is she?"
"A former teacher of Gosha." Mai said, "Now a criminal she is one of those who taught our teachers in the past."
"Wow." Pavel was surprised, "I didn't know that. That mean she is really a danger opponent, I wouldn't like to meet her in a battle alone." after a pause he added, "Interesting, what binds these two organizations."
"Maybe something significant." Aki pondered too, "Man almost forgotten to tell you, we'll have a cultural festival in the beginning of December.
"Huh?" Maki turned to her friend.
"A cultural festival?" Pavel looked at him too.
"You said, you practiced you Japanese watching anime, I think you should know what that is." Ren looked at Pavel who was taking cards this time.
"Ah, got it." Pavel hit his forehead with his palm, "The activity when classes do something special like a café or something else."
"Correct." Ren looked at him, "Do you have something the same in Russia?"
"No, we have sport festival in September, but don't have a cultural one." Pavel shook with his head, "Always wanted to see it in live."
"Don't worry, I'll have such a chance." Maki smiled widely to him.
"Cultural festival?" Oleg heard the talk of the students.
"As I understand you have nothing like that in Russia?" Chikeko asked him with interest in her voice.
"No, we have nothing like that." Oleg replied to her, "Sort festival is only we have, but it's depend on school, it's not a necessary thing."
"Man, I'm envy them." Sakura looked at the students, "They can enjoy the festival in a full way, sometimes I want to return on their place."
"Your truth." Chikeko sighed, "Only students can have lots of entertainment during it."
"Can't the teachers have the same fun as the students?" Oleg looked at them.
"Well, it's difficult to say." Sakura pondered, "We're bothered with lots of work, so can't join the students in the whole fun, I'd like to put one some funny costume and make a restaurant."
"Me too." Chikeko smiled at these words, "Interesting, what they'll make this year? I think they will want to play with Pavel."
"The main show thing of the academy." Oleg chuckled, "The Ilya will be in such state too."
"That little boy?" Chikeko looked at Oleg, "I think he will be dressed some cute things for girls."
"He always wears them, in our country he always was lectured for it." Oleg sighed, "And how his explanation did work at the heads?"
"What do you mean?" Sakura continued to watch at him.
"He dresses in girlish clothes in order to surprise his opponents." Oleg sighed, "But he is a good student, so sometimes they close eyes for his vagaries."
"I wanted to ask you something." Chikeko asked Oleg with an excited voice, "How should I start it first?" Chikeko didn't know how to start her question, Oleg didn't hurry her, "I wanted to know about the hunters in your country, have you ever encountered Black or Kuroi's forces?"
"Personally, no, but in common yes." Oleg nodded, "Many of our elites worked with them and continue to do that, but now they do it not so opened as before."
"I'm interested in one thing, I don't want to seem suspicious or something like that but, when you were in teacher's lounge, you've heard that three of our parties joined together in one, they took dossocialism as their main ideology, some of our teachers think your country is after the killing of Nakamura-san."
"I've heard something like that from Rin-chan." Sakura nodded, "But I think it's just some misunderstanding or the thing just to put a seed of doubt in our relations."
"It's quite amazing to hear such notions from you." Oleg was surprised of Sakura's thoughts.
"Do you hint that I'm stupid?" Sakura didn't like his statement.
"No, just peculiar to hear that, I didn't say stupid." Oleg smiled to her, "Well, it's a difficult thing and not being a politician, my words can be not correct at all, but if you want I can tell you my point of view." both women nodded, "I think it could be done on purpose. Our country was the first one, who accepted dossocialism, Yugoslavia excepted much later after the Great Balkan War."
"I know about it." Chikeko looked at him, "When Serbia was attacked and could restore some of its former territories."
"You know history well." Oleg chuckled, "Five out five."
"They could return Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro and even Bulgaria." Chikeko added, "But as I understand, your country didn't help it, so why they took it too?"
"There's the main thing about it." Oleg replied, "We didn't help because of our location, we were too far from it, and at the same time we had lots of problems in the East."
"Taiwan Crisis." Chikeko said thoughtful, "Wait, you were on the Chinese side, so why…?"
"As I get it, we were on Chinese, because it's our main partner on the continent and is perfect zone, which can protect us. At the same time, after joining it, the crisis started to slow down."
"But what about Yugoslavia?" Sakura asked him.
"Well, the problem is that it couldn't deal with Bosnia and Bulgaria alone, so the interesting thing is in who helped them in this war."
"If not you maybe European Union?" Sakura asked Oleg once more.
"I don't think so." Chikeko replied for Oleg, "If Serbia has good relations with Russia, it'll be worse for them to help Serbia."
"Balkan War is famous for using demons against Serbia so try to think who could help them." Oleg smiled again.
"Hunters?" Chikeko and Sakura turned to him.
"Correct." Oleg said, "But what hunters is a secret for me, I think it could be some mercenaries."
"I started to understand." Chikeko said, "Someone who helped Serbia is in Russia. Your ideology was given to Yugoslavia. And now someone wants to make it in Japan or this one wants to give a rope to our relations."
"That's what I have in mind." Oleg sighed, "I hope that this someone won't do this to us. However it's the work to our governments to deal with it."
After that the teachers looked at the students, who had fun sitting on their places, the only one who seemed out-of-body was Masami, who was sitting alone and was reading a book.
"For a minute." Oleg said and got up, from his place.
Oleg slowly went to Masami, that attracted some attention, however he didn't pay any attention for it, he sat opposite the girl and said.
"Interesting book?" he asked her.
"Quite." Masami replied closing it, "Have something happened, sensei?"
"No, just wanted to have a little talk to you." Oleg replied her warmly, "How do you feel yourself? As I remember you had practice with Pavel, how was it?"
"Good." Masami replied putting her book onto the seat next to her, "He is a really skillful boy."
"But we're talking not about him." Oleg said, "I mean have you felt something during it?"
"I'm not sure, but probably yes." Masami's voice became excited and worried.
"And what was it?" Oleg asked her again.
"I don't know how to explain it."
"I see, but during it has your mood become better?" Oleg continued his questioning.
"Kinda." Masami still seemed unsure, "It was just some spark in my head."
"Got it." Oleg said, "By the way, why not to join them?" Oleg glanced at the five friends, who were playing cards and laughing, "It's pretty funny in their circle."
"I'm not sure in it." she looked at them too, "After all, we are not friends."
"Is it all?" Oleg asked her again, Masami replied nothing, "One best way to defeat you worries and fears is to have someone, who can be by your side and share your worries and troubles and give you a hand." Oleg did a small pause, "These guys are not bad at all, and it'll be good for you to have talk with them from time to time."
"Are you sure it'll help me?" Masami was unsure in it.
"Absolutely." Oleg replied with a smile, "Stand up, let's do something." Oleg got up and looked at Masami, the girl did the same.
Then he went to the place where the friends were. The girl followed him still worrying of what eh teacher wanted to do.
"Guys, I think you know Masami Andou." Oleg suddenly asked them, the students looked at him with astonished eyes, even Mai was surprised of what was happening, "Let her join you, I think she would like to try to play with you." he clapped onto Pavel's shoulder, "Ne rastroj menya1."
"Got it." Pavel nodded.
Masami took the free place; everyone was shocked of it. Pavel decided to disturb the silence.
"Guys, give my cards to Masami, I'll miss several rounds."
Maki nodded and started to give cards to all except Pavel. Masami started to play, but the game changed its colors, Masami felt that this was because of her, so she decided to do at least something about it.
"How is your swimming Ren? I've heard Igarasi gave you the role to present us on the Japanese tournament."
"Yes, she did that." Ren nodded in agreement, "I was worried first, but now everything is alright."
"I see, and what the others in your club think about it?" Masami asked her again.
"First they were eager, but now cooled down and proud of me." Ren replied.
Their talk was calm; Ren hadn't got any note of negative in her voice like Masami hadn't.
"And what about you?" Ren looked at Masami beating her cards, "How do you do in music? You played a really interesting music today."
"Good too, just decided to play something encourages." Masami answered.
"By the way, Maki." Masami turned to the brown haired girl this time, "How do you do in running?"
"Ah?" Maki was surprised that Masami turned to her next, "Not as good as Ren in swimming, but still quite well."
"Hey Aki, you asked me about reading some book don't you?" Pavel looked at the boy.
"What?" Aki didn't understood what the Russian boy meant, but then exclaimed; as he felt how something hit his leg, "Ah! Yeah, just wanted to know about some adventure books." Aki said watching at Pavel.
"Masami, you read a lot maybe you give some good book to Aki?" Pavel asked the girl, "I'd read some book too."
"Something like that." Oleg said as he watched at the students.
"Not a bad idea at all." Sakura chuckled, "And why I didn't think it."
"This will be good for her." Chikeko looked at her too with warm eyes, "She'll get used to it."
"Yeah, I hope you're right." Sakura said to out loud.
"This place is empty too." Kurenai said jumping onto the building after she carefully examined the previous one, she put her hand onto her ear and said, "Have any one found something? I see, I'll continue searching." the blonde sighed and continued watching, "As I get it the battle was here." she looked at the skyscraper, which was in front of her, "And the demons nest was in that skyscraper, Etienne Richar and Mystic and then that Pegasus took Yukikaze and Tatsurou. Don't know about these two, but Pegasus is not from weak ones." Kurenai thought, "Mystic has wind abilities and Richar can modify his body, a dangerous couple."
'Kurenai.' the half-blood vampire, put her hand onto her ear, 'It's seems I found something come to my position.'
"On my way, Ayame." Kurenai replied and jumped to the left side of the building.
Kurenai's way wasn't long; she quickly reached Ayame on the other side of the building.
"Here." Ayame said as Kurenai arrived, "I found it here." Kurenai took a piece of cloth which Ayame stretched to her friend.
"A piece of cloth?" she looked at the red subject in her hand, "Could it be Yukikaze's one?"
"Probably, she uses red ribbons, neither Hirata, neither Tatsurou use them, and that Russian boy has a black costume."
"Maybe it could belong to their enemies." Kurenai mumbled, "As I remember, the Pegasus hadn't any red subjects, and about these two, I don't know."
"Me too." Ayame said, "I found it in the building."
"Anything else?" Kurenai asked Ayame.
"No, it was the only I could find." Ayame replied too, "These guys really know who to hide trails."
"Let's investigate it one more time." Kurenai offered to the woman with a rifle gun, Ayame nodded and then followed Kurenai.
They jumped into the building, through the broken window. They started to watch carefully at every inch of the hall.
"Interesting, what 'The Third Law' wanted here?" Ayame suddenly asked, "Did they want to hire these bastards to work for them?"
"Perhaps you're right." Kurenai replied fast, "After all, it's convenient to send someone else, for hard work than do it personally."
"Yeah, find someone who'll do the dirty work for you." Ayame chuckled, "Let's look the building over." Kurenai nodded and they walked by the corridors of the building which was a battle field not long ago.
After some big amount of time they explored the building completely. They found some blue piece of cloth, and were guessing to whom it belonged.
"As I remember, only Azumi has a blue scarf." Kurenai pondered, "But she wasn't among the attackers."
"Maybe Mystic?" Ayame suggested, "Asagi told nothing about his uniform."
"That French scientist had only white robe." Kurenai said, "And that Pegasus had only armor, could it be that there was someone else?"
"What do you mean?" Ayame didn't understood, "Someone who helped the Law? Or someone else came here to check something?"
"I don't know." the half vampire sighed, "Interesting what has happened here?"
"Maybe we want know it." Ayame sighed too, "Well let's return back, maybe captain will be able to know what that is?"
"Yeah, he is a really good in searching lost ones." Kurenai chuckled.
Asagi was sitting calmly in her office and was drinking her coffee, the day was pretty calm, and her paper work for today was done.
'It's really boring, without Sakura and Murasaki around.' Asagi chuckled after another sip, 'Interesting, how will they spend their weekend?' suddenly she heard a knock at the door, "Come in!" she said slightly raising her voice, the door was opened and she saw Maria in the doorway.
"Miss Igawa, aren't you busy?" Maria asked the woman.
"No, come in." Asagi said with a smile, "Have something happened? It the first time you came here so I think something bothers you."
"No, nothing serious, I just wanted you to ask about Masami Andou."
Asagi frowned a little, "What's with her? Does she do something incorrect?"
"No, not that." Maria shook with her, "I'm about her problem, I want to know something about it."
"Why? As I remember Oleg and Pavel are in charge of her treatment." Asagi put her mug onto the desk.
"This treatment will be done through me, so I must know about her in order to be more careful during it."
"What do you mean?" Asagi didn't understand Maria's words, but then added, "Do you want to use your abilities on her?" Maria nodded, "I forbid!" Asagi exclaimed, "She knows nothing about them and what if something happens during it?! What if you wound her more seriously?"
"I won't." Maria said, "I'm the best in their using after my brother and Przemislav. At the same time, she must make the decision and she agreed with it."
"I don't like when someone works behind my back." Asagi wasn't glad that such important decisions were made without her.
"I checked her mental state, and it demands a procedure. Her scare of blood became more deep and mere methods won't work on her."
"What do you mean?" Asagi didn't understand her words.
"Let me ask you, how did you help her? I mean in the beginning, were there any attempt to fix her mood?" Asagi frowned she didn't want to answer this impolite question, but then Maria continued, "It sees not." Maria frowned too, "It's important to give help in the beginning went metal problem isn't significant. So there I have two conclusions, first one is that you didn't try to help her and the second one, she didn't let you do this."
"Second one." Asagi sighed, "We didn't see any changes in the beginning, but when we saw them it was late for us to act."
"I see." Maria nodded, "She shut herself from all of you and didn't let to help to solve her problem, quite stupid act." Maria did a pause.
"I think you know her problem." Asagi looked at Maria, "If you came to talk about her, you should know a lot about it."
"I've seen it in her head." Maria agreed, "And right now Pavel and Oleg help her to prepare physically for treatment."
"And is there non-physical treatment?" Asagi looked at her.
"Mental one." Mara replied, "I'll sneak inside of her brain and will deal her fear of blood from inside."
"Is it dangerous?" Asagi asked her.
"If the mental user is a beginner or weak, it can be dangerous, but as I told you I'm not from these ones. And do everything to help her."
"Are you doing it for Oleg or Pavel?" Asagi asked her with mysterious eyes, "I don't think you would do it for yourself."
"For them and for Andou herself." Maria replied, "We are teachers and must help to students, who asks for a help." Asagi smiled at these words.
"By the way, what's with your arm? Doesn't it bother you?"
"No, your doctors treated it well." Maria replied, "I even have nothing to complain about."
"Nice to hear, some coffee?" Asagi asked her, but then they heard a knock at the door, "Come in!" Asagi repeated her words.
This time it was a bald man with black sunglasses, he was wearing black strict costume with a white shirt.
"Captain." he said, "We have a problem."
"What is it Kuro?" Asagi wasn't glad hearing these words.
"'The Third Law' was detected in Tokyo Kingdom." Maria turned too, "They are Wojciechowski, Mystic, Naomi and Miyata." he reported, "According with the reported they're looking for someone or something."
"The seal." Maria said pondering.
"Is this information correct?" Asagi asked him, "Was there a person in silver armor, and black hair?"
"No, only these four." Kuro replied.
"Gather strong Taimanin, I'll go too." Asagi gave an order, "Maria, we'll need your help too, that Polish is a mental user, so your assistance will be important too." Maria nodded, "Do you need time for preparation?"
"No, I'm ready." Maria replied, "One more thing, let's take Ilya with us, his aid will be important too." Asagi nodded, and then the three of them left the office, heading to the dressing room.
"Man, this is more difficult and bothersome than I thought." Etienne mumbled watching at the men who were tied on an operating table, "It seems these cells were weakened quite a lot, since they don't give any good reaction."
"Scum, let us go!" one man shouted at Etienne, "Or I'll kill you when I get out of here."
"Could there be a way to increase their power and separating power?" Etienne didn't pay attention at his pathetic threat, "It must something that belong to demons, but not just to a mere demon, but to a strong one, I don't' know will Walter give some power for that, Celine will never agree, but…" he suddenly stopped, "Of course, that boy can change DNA, maybe he could change or improve the structure of these cells?"
Etienne left the roof leaving the angry, but helpless captivates alone. Etienne was walking by his laboratory thinking about his troubles and problems until he was encountered by Liza.
"Mister Richar, the monsters are ready for another sortie." she chuckled as she saw him, but the man replied nothing then she decided to disturb him, "Mister Richar, do you hear me?"
"Ah it's you." Etienne seemed returned back to his ordinary state, "What were you talking about?"
"I've said the monsters are ready for another sortie, where we should send them?" Liza asked him again.
"Well, are these NOMAD's hang-by still looking for us?" Etienne asked her.
"Yes, Mystic and Przemislav told that the trail is still in power." she nodded, "So why not to teach them a lesson?"
"Not a bad idea." Etienne smirked, "We'll give them a good one, prepare these monsters, tonight a we have another hunt."
"Got it." Liza ran along the corridor.
"Some problems with our project?" Etienne heard a voice behind him; the French scientist turned around and saw a man in metal armor.
Etienne wasn't scared or even worried, "Kinda, I thought, you're supposed to be somewhere on your personal business or something like that."
"I'm always interested in you experiments, so I always can find some free time to speak about them with you." Walter smiled, "So what your problems are?"
"Well…" Etienne pondered, "The cells of these demons are pretty weaker than I thought, and I need the boy to improve them, I think you can do that, but…"
"I can't." Walter replied, "My aspect is in changing dead bodies, I can't change living one. Celine can't do that either."
"I thought you demon lords are supreme." Etienne chuckled, "As I heard the leader of NOMAD can do that."
"He also can't do that." Walter answered, "If you're talking about demonization it's another process, but to influence on the demon that is not relate to the vessel… It's another story." Walter was calm and even smiling too; likewise he liked the company of the scientist.
"I see, and what about that boy?" Etienne started to doubt his idea was successful.
"He can do it." the demon lord nodded, "The one inside of him is starting to awake little by little so I think it won't be a problem for him."
"And how much demonization differs from what I want to do?"
Walter sighed, "How should I say it easier… Demonization demands a lot of power, and if you know there won't be any risk for your life, you can do it. Here also can be some circumstances and nuances, when it doesn't need so much power, but of course their very rare. You offer me to work with heterogeneous demonic cells I can't do this, because I can't work with such thing, it was the work of the first demon lord of my line."
"And this thing is in that boy, am I right?" Etienne narrowed his eye.
"Correct." Walter chuckled, "This boy can do such a thing, but still the problem is that I don't know how he will do it."
"By the way, I've noticed that girl of that bitch Naomi, became friends with him."
"Something like that." Walter nodded, "It's good for him, strong bounds are perfect motivator for vengeance, when he loose them, there will be more chances to return my superior back."
"Don't tell that to Mystic and the others about that, they'll kick your butt after hearing that." Etienne looked at the man.
"Like I will." Walter smirked, "Go to the laboratory, I'll bring you the boy."
Etienne nodded and went back to the laboratory, where his captivates were. He didn't hurry and was thinking about his own notions and ideas.
'I wouldn't mind if this little bitch of Naomi will die somewhere on a mission.' he chuckled remembering Izumi
When Etienne came to his lab he saw the boy and Walter together, the boy was scared and suppressed. But when he saw the French man, his face became a little bright.
"Come on lad." Etienne clapped his shoulder, "Like we studied."
The boy nodded and came to the captivities; he put his hands onto one man and closed his eyes.
"Feel the power inside of you." Walter said, "Answer to what is calling you." the boy squeezed his face, and tensed his limbs like it was painful to him, 'According with the words of that girl the boy had already released him twice, interesting did it give some fruits?' Walter narrowed his eyes, 'If these two will return our powers will be increased, and Mystic can focus only on destruction of the seals. Will Celine be able to whip him into shape?'
The boy removed his hands from the man, and went to another one, after some time he removed his hands from the second one.
"Done." he merely replied,
"Can we check it somehow?" Etienne looked at Walter.
"Now, we only can wait the result." Walter shook with his head, "I think it'll become a little faster." then Walter turn to Etienne, "We'll go for now, if something changes just say me." Etienne nodded and the boy disappeared along with the man.
"Master Black." the woman with dark skin and purple hair knocked at the door of the office, "May I come in?"
"Yes, Ingrid, Come in." Black replied out of the office.
Ingrid opened the door and saw Black watching at the Tokyo Kingdom through the window. Black was concentrated on something, but still turned around when Ingrid passed the threshold of the office.
"Here a report from Oboro, she did an investigation, as you ordered." Ingrid said holding a clipboard in her hands.
"What did that woman knew?" Black sat onto the comfortable chair watching at Ingrid.
"According with it, she detected members of 'The Third Law', but still didn't do anything to them, as you ordered." Black nodded, he saw Ingrid wanted to add something, "There also were Miyata Ioshito and Miyamoto Naomi with them." Black frowned.
"Former Taimanin, if I remember it right." Black pondered, "What are they doing with these criminals? I thought they should be independent criminals, but they are bind with these ones, interesting."
"I also have some gossips that Taimanin know about their presence in Tokyo Kingdom, so they will definitely try to neutralize them."
"Do you know the location of that law?" Black asked Ingrid.
"Yes, they're in the western district." Ingrid replied.
"And what about Walter? Was he also detected?" Black asked again, this time his voice was a little worried, he even rubbed his fingers, but didn't show it at all, changing worrying to anger.
"No, he wasn't detected there, but according with you story, he can be somewhere near by." Ingrid pondered over the situation, "What should we do? Attack with Taimanin or help these criminals?"
"Well, we are to destroy them, but not letting Walter to understand about our presence there." Black replied, "We are to know for sure is Walter there or not, and what their purposes are." Black calmed down and Ingrid didn't bother him, as she knew it's a bad thing to disturb Black from ponders, "Ingrid you and Oboro will work together." hearing this she frowned slightly, "If it's needed I allow you to cooperate with Taimanin, try to kill every member of this organization, as I understand that man in the hood is their general, if he is here kill him first."
"Yes, he is there." Ingrid nodded, "There is also another person, but he is unfamiliar to our organization."
"Kill them all, but if Walter expose himself retreat you won't be able to defeat him even along with Asagi herself."
"Understood." Ingrid nodded, "May I be free?" Ingrid asked him.
"Yes and be careful." he added to her.
Ingrid cheeks became slightly red she turned away to the door, hiding her confusing, "I will, master Black." and left the office.
The students continued their way, the train was going fast, and the students started to talk with the teachers. The friends still were together along with Masami, they were talking about the famous criminals, who could bother two countries, Masami was only listening to them not wanting to interrupt. Masami wanted to leave them, but still wasn't sure it was a good idea, Pavel and Oleg believed in her and she didn't want to ruin their hopes, so she decided to give brief phrases in order to not seem being somewhere out of the company.
"I still can't belive you were fighting their top fighters." Aki said as he looked at Pavel and Ren, "You two could really have more problems than you got."
"Your truth." Pavel sighed, "But at the same time it was good practice." he looked at Ren, "And at the same time our new star proved to Igawa-sensei she wasn't born yesterday." he chuckled; Ren became red of these words, but still ignored his compliment.
"If not you I could be done by that Mystic." Ren replied.
"I still can't forget that occasion in Sapporo." Maki flinched, "If not these guys from division I wouldn't know what could happen to us."
"These people." Masami suddenly said, "Are they really that powerful as you're talking? From your words they're stronger than NOMAD and other criminal organizations."
"Much more dangerous!" Maki exclaimed, "There are guys, who can do really unbelievable things! New demons like Pegasus and some dinosaurs! Guys who can read your mind and give you a lot of pain."
"Also a guy, who can fix his cut limbs back to its place." Aki remember his and Rinko's fight with Etienne, "I still can't belive that he felt absolutely nothing when his arm was chopped."
'Not speaking of the one Asagi told me.' Pavel thought, 'Interesting is this guy a real demon lord or just some imitator.' then he saw how Mai was watching at him, "What is it?" he asked her.
"Nothing." Mai turned back to the window of the train, "Just thinking."
"Hey Mai!" Maki turned to her, "How do you think could you defeat a guy, who can fix his limbs back to the body?"
"Depends on his abilities." Mai replied, "What he can do and what trumps he has behind him."
"Aki and Rinko were fighting him on equal. That means this guy is a real pain in the ass."
"He was stronger than we were." Aki corrected his friend, "We barely could get his arm, not speaking of his head or something else." then he turned to Pavel, "By the way, are there any other members, whom we still didn't see? I don't want to encounter someone else not being prepared for the fight."
"All information about known members was given." Oleg came to friends, "So just examine it and you'll have no surprises from them." then he looked at Pavel and Ren, "You two, I have to talk to you, don't worry it won't be for long, just need something to discuss."
The students nodded and got up. They left the wagon and stood in the place, which was between two wagons.
"What happened sensei?" Ren asked Oleg.
"I have a little task for the two of you during our main practical lessons." Oleg said, "I know Maria did you two her assistants. So I want to do the same with you."
"You want us to do the practice?" Pavel asked his teacher.
"Something like that." Oleg nodded, "You two will be in a pair and have practice battle with two teachers."
"And they will be you and…" Pavel looked at him with narrowed eyes as if he already knew the answer.
"Me with Ren and you with Sakura." Oleg looked at Pavel
"But why so difficult?" Ren asked him, "Is it because you want to us to be displayed?"
"Not exactly." Oleg shook with his head, "I want to see how you'll fight with the partners you've never fought before. Our teams will fight the other students."
"I see." Pavel nodded, "But of what number our opponents will consist?"
"Three students against us." Oleg said, "This will let us know where you and the other student have weak points in order to improve them."
"And the main punching bags will be we." Pavel sighed, "This is a bit harsh, didn't you think so?" Pavel looked at him.
"I don't mind." Ren shrugged with her shoulders, "It'll be not bad after all, but I have a counter proposal, me and Pavel will have a battle with you two in the end."
"Do you think you'll be able to stand after the training?" Oleg chuckled at Ren words, "We'll see, maybe on the other day, perhaps." Oleg clapped Ren by her shoulder and returned to the wagon leaving the two students alone.
"He really doesn't know what team work means." Pavel exhaled as if he had some fights, "But your idea is good, to have fight against two teachers is not bad at all."
"Thanks, I want to see what they could do being in a team, telekinesis and shadow ability, will they be able to cooperate or just meddle each other."
"Not bad thing at all." Pavel was surprised of Ren's thought, "I wouldn't think something like that."
Ren looked at him, she suddenly came to him, Pavel was puzzled, why Ren did something like that, the girl bowed a little so she was watching at him from the bottom up. Pavel started to become red a little, but still could handle his emotions.
"About the talk before, is there nothing you wanted to talk to me?" Ren finally asked him, "If you want to speak out, I'll listen to you."
"Ha?" Pavel didn't understand, but still thought, 'Is she talking about…?' then he turned his head away, "No, nothing special." he shook with his head, "Don't think about it." Pavel chuckled.
"Really?" Ren narrowed her eyes, "But by your expression I see you lie."
'Damn, she is really pretty being that frown.' Pavel thought, "No, really I just…"
"Just?" Ren reasked him.
"I thought about asking you to…" Ren got closer to him, "To show me the place we're going." he lied.
"And you were excited to ask such a thing?" Ren continued to watch at him.
"Well, it's just the two of us; maybe you would think that I call you for a date or something." Pavel continued to lie, but still this time he tried to find a possibility to ask her that in near future, "What if someone would think we would date or I would ask you to go out with me?"
"What a stupidity." Ren Moved away, "People can think whatever they want, the most important is that we know that it's not true, so there's nothing to be scared of such stupid things."
"Got it." Pavel mumbled.
"Let's return back to our place, Maki is starting to become more annoying towards Masami." Ren saw how Maki started to question Masami endlessly.
"Yeah, let's go." Pavel nodded indecisively, 'What an idiot I am!' he cursed himself.
The day started to change to evening the sky started to become darker, but the life in Tokyo Kingdom didn't stop, but vice versa, started to become livelier. The streets were full of demons and other people. But still all they could live in symbiosis.
"Is this the place where these criminals were detected?" Asagi asked Rin, who was standing by her side.
"Yes, according to Kuro's words that Law was detected somewhere here." Uehara Rin replied, "What should we do?"
"Maria, you know that Przemislav well, will you make the barrier for us in order to not let him to use his mental power on us?" Asagi looked at Russian hunter.
"Yes, stretch your hands; I'll create a mental wall in your heads." Maria said.
"Captain." the boy, who reminded a girl suddenly protested, "This will weaken you, isn't it better for you to fight Przemislav, while we deal with the others?"
"We can't be sure which squad will encounter Wojciechowski, so I must do everything for making fight with him easier." Liza replied to her partner, "Stretch your hands."
Rin and Asagi stretched out their hands, and Maria took them with hers For some period of time Maria was standing in the same position, then Kuro stretched his hand to the woman, and Maria did the same procedure, but this time it was faster, then before.
"Everything is done." Maria concluded as she looked at Asagi, "This wall is imperfect, but will be able to protect you from several mental pushes."
"Thank you for your support." Asagi smiled to Maria, "Kuro, you'll go with Maria and Ilya, I'll go with Rin, I think this formation will be well for impressing our enemies. Remember our enemies are Mystic, Naomi and Miyata themselves, you two know what they can do, so don't be chilled-outing." Asagi said with a firm voice.
"Yes, commander." Kuro replied, "What to do with these criminals if we get them?"
"Don't kill him, we are to interrogate him. They know a lot and even one member of them can be important!" Asagi declared, the four of them nodded, "If everything is understood, let's start our searching."
And the mentioned teams jumped to different sides.
Asagi was jumping with Rin pretty quickly and were checking everything carefully and in-and-out. Rin was wearing a pretty closed black and blue suit; however it exposed her well fit back completely. She had two hits on her sides, but there were no blades in them. Four metal processes were fixed to her collar from her back.
"Asagi, I've noticed something, there." Rin pointed, at her left, "Like something was flying."
"Was flying?" Asagi pondered, she frowned, like she had something in her mind, "Could it be that Pegasus? If it's him we could try to know about Yukikaze and Tatsurou." she looked to the left and commanded, "Let's go!" Rin nodded and they turn to the needed side.
They continued their way in other direction for ten minutes, but their searching was fruitless. Rin and Asagi saw several demons on their way, but they decided not to distract for extra work. But then Rin suddenly said.
"Again, over there." she pointed at some building.
Asagi nodded and they continued their way, but in the other direction. Rin was behind Asagi and she was ready to attack every moment. Asagi felt the same, but still she more concentrate. She was wondering who that mysterious enemy was?
'Has he detected us?' Asagi suddenly thought, she looked at Rin and the woman nodded as if she understood what her leader was thinking about, 'We are making circles.' but then she exclaimed, "Move aside!"
Both female Taimanin, jumped aside, and a flame hit the place where they were a while ago.
"What a lovely company I have." they heard a firm and energetic voice, but still it didn't belong to a human, "And just the two, I'm surprised that they sent only two after me."
Asagi and Rin turned around and saw a red person with wings, who calmly landed onto the roof not far from them. The monster had two wings, his skin was red and his appearance was similar to dragon's one. The creature had three horns which were growing out of its head. The demon opened its maw, but there were no teeth at all.
"So, Professor was right there supposed to be someone." the creature grinned.
'Professor? Is he talking about Etienne Richar?" Asagi thought, but she wasn't able to think the heard over as she was attacked.
"Damn, he is fast." Asagi mumbled exposing her katana.
Rin did the same she grabbed her empty hilts and fixed them with metal processes on the back of her collar. They gather into swords and she prepared for a fight.
"Asagi, try to interrupt him, I'll try to grab him." Rin said to Asagi.
Asagi dashed to the demon, but the demon spitted fire at her. Asagi dodged and prepared to strike him back, but the demon could avoid her critical lunge.
"Impressive skills." the demon chuckled, "If you would fight someone else you'd easily kill him."
"Thanks." Asagi said with a strange smile.
Rin jumped out of Asagi's back, and her sword now looked like a long wire with parts of the blade. The demon stretched his hand and a flame ball was released out of his hand, the ball had changed the route of the sword and then he dodged again but from Asagi's blade.
"Flame ability." Rin grunted, "And he can use it that way."
"That means he can be a friend of that dinosaur." Asagi pondered.
"Tiradex?!" the demon exclaimed, "Don't even match me with that scum! He is nothing but a stupid lizard!"
"And what about you? You are seemed to be out of this family too." Rin smirked.
"Sharp tongue." he replied and two flame balls appeared in his hands he threw them at the huntresses.
The woman dodged it, but they couldn't predict that they will explode as a bomb. A strong wave threw them to the fringes of the skyscraper. Asagi quickly got up and jumped aside as the demon was about pierce her with his horns. Rin quickly joined Asagi.
The fight continued. Asagi and Rin fought seriously, and the demon felt it, the teamwork of the two hunters was terrifying, and even a single wrong move could cost dearly for him. However the demon wasn't weak to, and fought incredible well as if he had great experience behind him.
The demon had an advantage in flying, but Rin's swords and lighting abilities she used covering her blades compensated it. The demon decided to do a reckless trick he did a strange turn and around Asagi and took wing above. He stopped and sent two fire balls at Rin, the one only hit the ground causing nothing special, but the second exploded pretty strongly. The demon flew straight at Asagi then.
"Asagi! Fire balls!" Rin exclaimed as she saw another two balls in his hands.
"Asagi Igawa?!" the demon looked at the blue haired woman as if he was a little puzzled, "Wait, not that woman?"
"What woman?" Asagi looked at him with puzzlement too, not understanding what was happening, however still holding her katana prepared for the fight.
"The one with two swords and blue costume." the demon, turned to Asagi again.
'Naomi?' Asagi couldn't understand what the demon was talking about.
"Why are you here? You're supposed to be in the other location." They heard a voice behind them, but in front of the demon.
"I was chased and decided to teach a meddlesome mosquitos a lesson." the dragon replied, "And where you were Professor is another question!"
"What's going on?" Rin asked Asagi, when she closely returned to her, Asagi replied nothing.
"We're to look for the seals, not interfere in fight with Taimanin." Professor answered, it was a green humanoid lizard with two tentacles and some processes on his shoulder, "Have you forgotten about it?"
"I didn't, I thought they're from the Law." Dragon replied to the lizard.
"Who are you?!" Asagi shouted at them, "What binds you with these criminals?!"
"I'm afraid there was a little mistake, Miss Igawa." Professor slightly bowed to her, "I want to apologies for that little misunderstanding, but we're to leave as our main work demands to be continued."
"You won't leave until you answer what you know about these seals!" she pointed her katana at the lizard with tentacles.
"When time comes, you'll know the truth." the lizard hissed and in next moment the duo disappeared.
"They left." Rin looked around, "Who were these guys? And what binds them with all this mess?"
"I don't know, but I don't like it all." Asagi was frown, "Only questions after questions, and no even a single good answer at least on one of them."
"Captain!" Asagi heard Kuro's voice in her earphone, "Come to our position we have something interesting."
"On my way." Asagi replied and both Rin and Asagi jumped back to the place where they came from.
After a while they reached needed place. The other two demon hunters were standing on the fridge o the building and were watching at the scene in front of them. They saw Mystic and Naomi who were fighting Ingrid and Oboro.
"What the hell is going on here?" Rin was astonished from what she saw, "Since when NOMAD and 'The Third Law' are enemies?"
"Maria, do you know why they are fighting?" Asagi asked the red haired woman with the spear.
"I don't know, maybe they didn't share something?" Maria shrugged with her shoulders, "However, as I know they are not allies, but not enemies, their relations were neutral."
"What could they make to confront each other?" Asagi pondered, "Has Black bothered them somehow?"
"Or they could bother him." Kuro suggested, Asagi nodded to this suggestion too.
"What should we do? They're both our enemies? We can dispose them all together." Rin asked Asagi, "We won't have a better chance."
"We won't deal with all of them." Asagi shook with her head, "Mystic, Naomi and Ingrid are too strong, we won't be able to defy them if they join forces."
"I think the same." Kuro pondered.
"I'm impressed, where is Wojciechowski?" Maria was watching the fight, "His help would be really perfect during this fight."
"What do you mean?" Rin asked Maria.
"We are cooperative fighters and work only in teams, because of our abilities." Maria explained, "For me it's better to support than attack alone."
"Get down!" Asagi suddenly raised her voice as she pressed against the rooftop.
The team did the same in the next moment, but still not understanding why Asagi did something like that?
"What's going on?" Asagi was asked by Rin.
Asagi didn't reply, her eyes were glued to a person which suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
'That's him again.' Asagi frowned, 'Just as I thought, it's good we didn't go to oppose them.'
"Is it because of that man?" Rin asked Asagi again, but these time Asagi didn't answer too, she was watching only at fleeing Ingrid and Oboro, "I can't belive two strong officers of NOMAD are escaping." Rin mumbled not believing to what she just saw."
'This man… Is he really something more than Black and other noble demons.'
Then the three disappeared from their location leaving no trial.
"Who the hell it was?" Rin turned to Maria.
"I don't know, there was no data on him." she replied with a serious voice, "But if he can use teleportation and such strong persons retreated after seeing him, that means he is really a terrifying person."
"You're right." Kuro agreed with her, "Ingrid and Oboro are not from those who would escape form the battle with no reason, I fought that purple haired several times, and know what' I'm talking about."
'I must discuss everything with Pavel; maybe he has some books about these demon lords of the past.' Asagi frowned, "Return for now, our mission was to capture 'The Third Law', now they fled and we don't know where to continue their searching." the team agreed, and left their position.
"So, how were these Taimanin? Were they strong for you?" Professor asked his red skinned partner.
"Peculiar instances." the dragon replied, "As that French scum would say. I had some dangerous situations, when they could get my head."
"So, his leaving wasn't fruitless after all." Professor hissed mystically, "I thought he would waste his time for nothing."
"Our hunters have something to study here." the dragon continued, "Interesting will they be able o defeat these corpse bastard along with his ice friend."
"I don't know, but if they won't the world will be destroyed." Professor replied to him.
"Then why not to help them?" Dragon suddenly stopped, "Why not to tell them these two are the demon lords of the second line and about their influence for this world? The roles of demon priests?"
"This everything will be revealed in needed time." Professor stopped too, "Right now the time is wrong, they still are to know they are to cooperate." Professor replied.
"I've grew tired of your fucking guessing games!" Dragon spitted fire on his left, "Can you speak like I do!"
"I'm sorry, I'm telling everything as you are to know." Professor hissed, "Even 'Red Division' doesn't know about that all, I'm doing as I was told to do."
"By whom?" the dragon asked him coming closer, "That woman who was here only once? Do you think she is interested in us? In this world?"
"She ordered us to watch after it." Professor didn't like the voice of his partner, "So we are to fulfill her orders. We are the only two, who followed her among the rest."
"Don't tell me that, I know everything well." the dragon responded, "I only hate that this everything must be done through the damn puzzles."
"It's our life, we're to watch how the prophecy is doing." Professor stated.
"And how is it going? You were a smart ass out of us all." Dragon looked at Professor.
"I don't know, I hope it will be done as planned." Professor replied, but then added, "Let's go, we're to check that district."
"Naomi, let me see you arm." Mystic said to Naomi, who was sitting on the bench in some pretty big room.
"Nothing to worry about." Naomi replied hiding covering her arm with her palm, "Everything is fine."
"Just show me." Mystic said to her, Naomi was shocked of his firm voice, Mystic removed her palm.
He saw that the place, which was scratched became blue, he frowned.
"Poison." Mystic wasn't glad with what he saw, "We are to find Etienne, he knows what to do."
"Bring me to my medics, they will do everything better that that damn frog eater." Naomi replied to Mystic.
"Naomi, stop arguing." Mystic looked at her, "If you don't want to go him for yourself, then do it for me." Naomi wanted to reply something, but couldn't as she saw a man in silver armor.
"Walter, bring us to Etienne's laboratory." Mystic said to the man.
"I don't think Etienne will be glad to see her." Walter chuckled, "What if he injects something unneeded?"
"Walter." Mystic watched at him.
"No need to disturb him." Walter replied to him seriously this time, Naomi started to feel excited and even worried; this man seemed to her now dangerous, "If you want to remove the poison, I'll do that."
"Can you do that?" Naomi was surprised to that.
"All of us could do that." Walter replied coming to her.
"All of you?" Naomi looked at him, but then her hand was grabbed by Walter's one.
Walter pressed his other palm against Naomi's wound, and then her scratches started to close up.
"Everything is done." Walter replied looking at Mystic, "Right now, I would offer you not to bother Etienne, the project he is doing is important for me, so if you have something just ask me."
"For you? Not for organization?" Mystic came closer to Walter, his voice gave to understand he didn't like the responds.
"I think you should know, when I'm talking about myself, I mean the organization too." Walter chuckled, his merry tone returned to him a little, "So don't worry, just let me know and everything is perfect." then Walter disappeared.
"I still can't understand who that man is and what relation he has to you." Naomi said after a minute of his leaving.
"Lots of things." Mystic replied sitting next to her, "Doesn't it hurt?" he looked at her arm, like he didn't want to speak about the second demon lord of the second line.
"No, everything is fine." she moved with her arm, "So? I know when you try to change themes so don't try to do that with me." she smiled to him with a predatory grin.
"Yeah, I know that, after all we know each other for a lot of time." Mystic smiled too, "Let's just say he is somewhat of NOMAD'S Black."
"What?!" Naomi didn't belive to her ears, "Go on with you!"
"It's true, he is some kind of Kuroi or Black or some other noble demon." Mystic decided not to mention that Walter was a demon lord, "That armored person is something like that too."
"Wait! You mean you have two weapons of total annihilation, and you still didn't capture the world?" Naomi still was watching surprisingly at him, "The hell your organization was doing for all these years you left Japan leaving us alone?"
"A lot of things." Mystic sighed, "One of them was opposing 'Red Division', but the world domination never was our goal."
"Then what?" Naomi leaned onto his shoulder.
"I can't tell you, orders." Mystic didn't turn to her.
"Like always." she sighed.
"Sorry, but I think sooner or later you'll understand everything." Mystic said to her.
"I still can't belive how you could persuade me to work with you." Naomi looked at the roof of the room, "If not your help these Taimanin would catch me then, and you would never get me."
"Yeah, it was really an interesting meeting." Mystic laughed at these words, "I wonder how they could fight someone like you on equal."
"I told you I wasn't on the game then." Naomi was glad Mystic was laughing over her.
"Yeah, sorry." Mystic looked at her, he wanted to say something, but then put his hand onto his temple, "Let's go Miyata and Przemislav have returned, I think they brought us some good news."
"Interesting, could they know who send NOMAD for us? I'd like to have a little chat with this one." Naomi licked her lips and followed Mystic.
