Happy was sitting in the living room on the couch in front of the tv with about 4 cd cases next to him, one already in the DVD player. He was waiting for the disk to start playing and after a moment, the screen turned on to show Talia when she was being detained at Nightingale Psychiatric Hospital in Klamath Falls back when they were living upstate. She was sitting at a table tightly bound in a straightjacket and a doctor just came to sit on the other side of the table.

"Talia, my name is Dr. Warren McGrath. Do you remember me?" He asked and she tilted her head to the side for a second as she stared at the man.

"Yeah, you're the quack from Hillcrest."

The doctor chuckled. "I'm a Doctor of Psychology, Talia. I went to the University of Victoria for seven years to obtain my degree."

"Oohh, that changes everything. You're an egghead and a quack. Thanks for clearing that up for me, doc."

"When we talked at Hillcrest, I took some notes on what disorders I think you're suffering from."

"My daddy says there's nothing wrong with me." She said in a childlike voice. "He says I make him happy, which is pretty damn funny."

"Talia, has your father been treating you right?" The doctor seriously questioned. "Does he treat you like you're his daughter or like he would his girlfriend?"

"He loves me and he tells me that when I need to hear it. I dunno about all that higher power shit, but Reapers are real and he proved it."

"Reapers? You mean, the Grimm Reaper?"

"Not the big man, his minions." She elaborated. "Maybe I saw one of them when I was a little girl and he saved my life. And now, he watches over me. He'll never let anybody hurt me ever again. Or my Mom could be one pissed off and very vengeful spirit."

The doctor wrote something down before moving some papers around and setting a file in front of him. "I'd like to review your psychological complications, Talia."

"Don't let this pretty face fool you. Big words don't throw me off. If you wanna call me a screwball, then call me that. Don't be fake to my face."

"I don't think you're a screwball, Talia. I think your mental state is in jeopardy and I'd like to get to the root of the problem before it worsens. I'm here to help you get better."

"There's nothing wrong with me." She argued before squirming around in the straightjacket, trying to get it off. "Except this stupid fucking jacket."

"You can't keep telling yourself that. It's not healthy."

"Go preach that noise to someone who cares." She scoffed.

"From our meeting at Hillcrest, I've compiled a list of your problems: Pyromania, Borderline Personality Disorder, Sadistic Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder and Intermittent Explosive Disorder. You also show signs of a Sociopath." The doctor set the file down and looked at Talia. "It's quite a list, but I'm prepared to devote all my time and energy to transforming you into a mentally stable person."

"How can you try to make someone else sane when you're a fucking screwball yourself?"

"You'll open up to the idea. It's all in due time." The doctor motioned for someone to come into the room and a pair of guards came behind Talia to help her stand. "That's all for today, Talia."

Once the screen went black, Happy exchanged the first DVD with the second one and this time, the session had already begun before the camera was recording. Talia was back in the room, sitting at the table while still bound in a straightjacket while the doctor was talking.

"During one of our sessions at Hillcrest, you told me that you 'accidentally' set someone on fire once."

"It was an accident."

"How so?"

"Because the bitch got third-degree burns when he was supposed to get second, therefore, that specific act of incendiarism was an accident." She explained before smiling. "See? I know big, college-level words too."

"Talia, do you understand what an accident is?"

"I'm looking at one right now 'cause I'm as sure as the sky is blue that your parents didn't plan on having a kid as ugly as you." She laughed.

"You're deflecting."

She was still giggling when she told him, "Not at all. You are really just that fucking U.G.L.Y without any kinda alibi."

"Talia, do you remember ever having an imaginary friend?"

She rolled her eyes at the man. "You've got to be kidding me."

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about. I had an imaginary friend when I was younger. It was another little boy and he'd play with me because I was an only child. As humans, we often conjure imaginary friends for comfort and companionship when we don't receive them from our primary family or the ones we want it from most. The only downside to this innocent phase would be if the imaginary friend didn't go away as we mature." Talia said nothing inr response and that made the doctor write something down before he set his pen down on the file. "Is this happening to you, Talia? Do you have a friend or a voice in your head that tells you to do bad things, things you might not want to do?"

"I've got a billion people in my head telling me to do a million things and all of them involve making your heart stop."

"Talia, why do you think you resort to hostility and violence so quickly?"

"Oh, I dunno, maybe it's got something to do with this cute little straightjacket and being trapped in a nuthouse where I'm the most sane person around. Or maybe it's just 'cause I'm a violent and hostile person. My spirit's been through some fucked up shit, so I think I'm entitled to a little hostility."

"Talia, we aren't born truculent. Who we are, how we act and our personalities are greatly shaped by experience and the way we are treated as we go through life." Talia shook her head at the man and blankly stared at him, waiting for him to continue. "Has someone mistreated you, Talia?"

"You are, by making me look at you."

"Tell me what happened to your mother."

"Who the fu- don't you fucking dare." Talia suddenly growled and was attempting to get out of the jacket again. "I swear to the fearsome Satan below, I will come over this table and drag you to the deepest crevice of the seventh level of Hell."

The doctor put his hands up in a sign of peace. "It's okay, this is a safe place. I'm here to help you."

"You wanna help me? Cut me outta this goddamn jacket, let me out of this stupid fucking place and take me back home!" She snapped and Happy realized she must've had restraints around her feet because when she tried to stand, she was forced to sit back down as she tried thrashing about in the straightjacket.

"We have to talk about these things, Talia."

"Leave me alone!"

"You've been holding onto that pain for a long time. You need to release it."

"You don't know what I need! You don't know anything about me!"

"Then tell me about you. Make me understand you, Talia."

"No! I don't wanna talk to you! I don't wanna be here! I'm not crazy!"

"Talia-"

"Fuck you! I want my Dad!"

Happy sighed as the screen went black and he hesitated before grabbing the next disk, knowing he hated watching this one, but went to put it in the player. Talia was at the table again, still in the straightjacket, but her head was resting on the table while the doctor slowly paced back and fourth.

"Talia, can you hear me?" He asked and she lifted her head a little, but it was bobbing left to right like she could barely keep it up and still. "You've been a very naughty girl, Talia. You've been trying to escape your room and you've hurt some of my staff. I thought we were going to work together to improve your faults. We can't move forward when you keep shoving us back. As punishment for your bad behavior, you'll be on solitary for a week and-" Talia's head dropped onto the table and the doctor sighed. "Talia? Are you alright?"

Talia muttered something again and the shrink stopped at the table to try to listen to whatever she was mumbling, but not even Happy could understand what she was saying. The doctor got really close to Talia to put his ear near her head when she screamed and finally broke the restraints of the straightjacket, pulling it off as the doctor backed into a corner.

"You're dead!" She yelled at him. "I'll slit your throat and bathe in your blood! I'll gouge your eyes out! I'll gnaw your fucking face off and wear it like a mask!"

"Sedate her! NOW!" The doctor ordered and two of the guards rushed into the room just as Talia got her hands free. She managed to punch one of the orderlies hard enough to send him to the ground while the other looked too afraid to get close.
