Chapter 2
"Nice to see that you could find free time." a man with black hair turned to Przemislav who entered the room.
"Sorry, przyszedłem1… we came just when we had time." the Polish replied to the man watching at Izumi.
"No need to apologize." the man smiled, "Your work is primal for you."
"What did you… want to know?" the Polish said sitting on the arm chair, Izumi closed the door and stood next to him.
"Probably coffee? As I see you came just from your mission and was unable to change your clothes." the man in official suit looked at Wojciechwski and Izumi whose combat suits were battered and didn't fit for official meetings.
"Z przyjemnością2." the Polish nodded, he wanted to correct himself, but the man understood the answer.
The man left and in three or so minutes returned, after some more minutes there was brought two cups of coffee with some snacks.
"Thank you." Izumi said sitting next to the Polish.
"Well, Hayasi, what… the problem?" Przemislav said after doing a first sip of hot coffee.
"Well, my friends that joined their parties don't know what to do next, they have problems with their program. And I don't think they'll be able to work well together." Hayasi started to explain the problem, "And their rate is going down giving a lot of opportunities to Yazaki." then he stopped, but still added, "However Yazaki is bothered with something tight now as he stopped his investigation towards the other politicians."
"Rozumiem3." the Polish nodded, "Did they... read the book?"
"Yes, but still they have problems with the goals." Hayasi continued, "I tried to think of something, but to join their ideas in one is a difficult thing even from me."
"Not good." the Polish took a cookie and did a bite, 'Well, it's difficult for them to communicate.' he started thinking then, 'Each of them will want to take the place of a leader and will give his own ideas.'
"I think you should to talk to them and…" Hayasi wasn't able to finish as Wojciechwski interrupted him.
"Nie ma potrzeby4… I mean, I suppose, I know a good decyzja5." the Polish smiled, "Soon, there will be a dossoialistic zebranie6… meeting. It'll be in Belgrade. There will be… some other parties. One of them może7 take guidance over you."
"Take guidance." Hayasi pondered, "It's seems not bad. But still, what countries there will be?"
"Germany, Poland, Serbia, and Spain." the Polish explained, "Poland and Serbia are also… strong in that. Just zapytaj o pomoc8… I mean ask for help, I think they will try to help you."
"Understood, but won't be they suspected in something? I mean, it'll be easy to blame them in something." Wojciechowski heard a reply.
That made the Polish thoughtful. Przemislav was thinking how to make everything well and not be suspected in anything bad for the joined parties.
"How about making an official speech on that?" Izumi attracted attention, "If they'll go officially there they want have problems with gossips and other things?" she tried to correct her speech with Polish and it was difficult for her.
"Not a bad idea." Hayasi nodded, "They also can take journalists with them in order to make everything officially. I think that will work well. But still, I didn't hear about Spanish and German parties."
"Because… they're not in power." Przemislav answered, "People wspierają9 them, but still other parties..." Wojciechowski stumbled, "Don't let them win, as they can be seem in work with Russia."
"By the way, you didn't name Russia." Hayasi asked the man again, "Why?"
"Oni10… they have a lot of problems." the Polish replied finishing with his coffee, "However, they will have one person there, nieoficjalne oczywiście11."
"Why not officially?" Hayasi could understand the first word.
"Difficult to say." Wojciechowski when he got up, Izumi did the same, "However, you'll, know… the answers for all questions there."
"Fine, I'll inform them." Hayasi nodded, "Should only one of them go there or the three of them will be better."
"Second." Wojciechowski answered him and headed to the end of the room.
He said goodbye to the Japanese politician and left the room of the café along with the girl. When they left building through exit fire, they quickly jumped onto the building using the walls of the closed standing building. They stopped on the ridge of a skyscraper, and the Polish took a deep breath.
"So good to have some fresh air." the man said after exhaling.
"Can I ask you something?" Izumi asked him, "Why are you making these reservations? When you helped those people and Taimanin, you didn't do them."
"It's a question I can't answer." the man smiled, "Probably in the future, I'll tell you."
"Is it a secret?" Izumi raised her eye brow.
"Probably something like that." Wojciechowski looked at her, "Let's just say, I think they're funny."
"You do them even among your comrades." Izumi didn't remove her eyes from him, "While with them you didn't do that."
"You're too suspicious." Wojciechowski answered coming to her, "But I ensure you, there's nothing in that."
"Fine, I'll trust you." Izumi didn't want to argue with the man, who was kind to her, "But if you try to harm my sister of Mistress, I hope I shouldn't explain what can happen."
"I know that." Przemislav combed Izumi's hair, "And I like how you protect your sister not try to show this to other people." Przemislav looked at the sky and said, "We're to go I think we're waited for long. I don't want to make them wait us."
Izumi nodded and then followed Przemislav, who was ahead.
The new day came fast and Asagi opened her eyes and then stretched her arms to her sides and then raised them above her head. She threw her blanket away and got up. The room of elder Igawa was specious and had a lot of cabinets with a desk, chairs and a TV in front of her working place. There also was a laptop on her desk, which was closed right now. Asagi was wearing a back nightwear, which suited to her blue hair a lot.
Asagi quickly did her bed with light moves, as if it was her casual work. Asagi headed to the door ignoring the desk and cabinets in the room. First thing Asagi did was washing her face and taking a cold shower. The woman was calm and decided not to think about her work that was ahead.
The woman went downstairs and headed to the kitchen.
'What is this?' Asagi heard some noise in the kitchen, 'The door is opened.' she saw light that was in the doorway.
The elder Igawa was looked at the door not exposing her, and saw how Sakura was trying to do something standing next to the stove.
'Sakura? Is cooking?' Asagi was shocked, 'Am I still sleeping?'
"Damn!" she heard the exclamation of her younger sister.
'She is really doing that.' Asagi was still shocked, she went out of the door way and said, "Sakura, am I still sleeping or you're really cooking?"
"Sis?!" Sakura turned around, and when heard some noise of frying food, turned back to the stove.
Asagi came to the stove and looked at what was going on. She was slightly scared fo what was going with rice in the bowl.
"How could you burn rice?" Asagi asked with puzzlement.
"I've just thought too much and the water was run out." Sakura was trying to fix her mistake.
The younger Igawa, turned off the stove and put the pot into the sink, and poured cold water there.
"Can I ask you?" Asagi looked at Sakura with worried as she noticed strange stuff not far from the stove, "I hope it's not our breakfast."
"No." Sakura started to staking the stuff and making onigiri, "It's well…"
"It's strange to see, you cooking." Asagi still was near her sister and was watching at her, "Can I know for whom this deadly breakfast is made?"
"Is it really that bad?" Sakura's voice became sad as she stopped making the rice pies.
Asagi understood that she did a bad thing and try to take her words back.
"Sorry, probably you should add some spices?" Asagi quickly offered an idea, "Handing salt and pepper to her younger sister, "So, for whom you're trying your best since morning?"
"For Oleg." Sakura said, but didn't give Asagi to ask another question as she continued, "He save me on the resort, so I thought it's the best thing I can do for him."
"I've heard Chikeko did him something like that." Asagi didn't remove her eyes from Sakura, "Has it some relations to that?"
Sakura didn't reply anything continuing making the rice pies. Asagi only smiled as if she suspected something.
'Didn't there will be someone Sakura will try to cook for.' then she took a TV console and turned the TV on which was fixed on the ceiling.
"Emergency news!" first words were heard by Asagi and Sakura, "Yesterday, two woman were kidnapped in Tokyo." There appeared two photos of some women, one of them had black hair and the second one had fair hair, they had nothing common in their appearance different eye color and face features, "We're informing you to take attention to what is happening around you and not to appear on the street in late time."
Sakura also turned to the screen and said.
"Sis, they're…"
"Yes." Asagi nodded, "Ayame and Ioko. Someone is hunting retired Taimanin."
"But how someone knows they're retired?" Sakura looked at Asagi, "It's possible if someone sold their identities."
"I don't know, but I can tell that I don't like it." Asagi frowned, "However, I hope there are no connections between their disappearance and our criminal friends form 'The Third Law'."
Asagi cursed the morning in her head and switched the channel, she was going to make a meeting with teachers from Task Force and at the same time she'll ask Shiranui about joining to it.
Sakura could finish her onigiri and put them into the lunch box, still with a little sad expression, because of their appearance.
'Interesting, what will he say about them?' Sakura thought about the lunch that will be today.
Pavel woke up much earlier than usually. Oleg was still sleeping and Pavel quietly left the room not disturbing the dream of his teacher. The boy reached the toilet and washed himself quickly as he didn't want to lose his precious time.
Pavel found the kitchen of dormitory and was quite surprised seeing a woman there.
"Maria Sergeievna?" Pavel was a little surprised, "Did know you like to get up that early."
"Good morning, Pavel." Maria looked at the boy, "And what made you to get up that early?"
"Well, I thought to make something delicious today." Pavel tried to leave that theme.
"You can fool Oleg, not me." Maria stopped cutting cucumbers, and turned to Pavel, "I can see everything on your face."
"Is that really obvious?" Pavel raised his eyebrow, Maria only nodded, "Well, I just wanted to make something tasty for Ren."
"That tanned girl." Maria said as if she remembered the person Pavel was talking about, "And what about Andou?"
"Well, I think the first portion should be cooked for Ren." Pavel mumbled.
"Can I know something?" Pavel nodded coming to the fridge in order to see what ingredients were there, "Do you love her?"
"What?!" Pavel quickly turned around to Maria.
"I hope I shouldn't use my power on you." Maria said with serious eyes.
"Yeah, I really love her." Pavel confessed after a not long pause.
"So, why not to confess?" Maria continued watching at him with serious eyes.
"I don't want to start what can be ended in the future." Pavel took eggs and cottage cheese and headed to Maria.
"What do you mean can be ended in the future?" Maria didn't understand his answer.
"We're from different countries, and we have only our mission that joins us. So when we'll do our mission we are to leave to Russia again." Pavel sighed cracking eggs into the bowl.
"Didn't know something like that could stop you." Maria smiled strangely, "You're not from those, who is scared of something."
"That's right, but…" Pavel sadly sighed, "I don't think they will let take Ren to Russia, and at the same time I don't think I'll let be stayed here too."
Maria was watching at him with serious eyes, "If you want you can try to ask her about it." Maria returned to cooking, "I think she want disagree."
"What if I frighten her with such unexpected question?" Pavel asked Maria, "We could become good friends, and I don't want her to distance from me."
"If you appreciate your friendship then it's better to leave everything like it is." Maria started, "But if you want to know her answer, then ask her. It'll be better for you as you won't make your heart suffer from uncertainty. Do you remember Oleg Semenovich's motto? I think he should tell you that on your first lesson here too."
"Ask one time then you'll be shamed in the future because of you didn't ask that?" Pavel detailed the words of his teacher.
"Yes." Maria nodded, "I know a lot of women who confessed first, but your case is another. Ren won't confess you because of the same thing. So it must be you who should open feelings first, in order to give her to understand you're ready to start something with her."
"You're right here." Pavel sighed, "It was always pointless to argue with you, Maria Sergeievna."
"However it was funny how you tried to do that during your education." Maria chuckled.
"I'm sorry for being so!" Pavel apologized for what was in the past.
"Oleg told your parents are going to visit you." Maria said to the boy, "As I remember you had quarrels with your elder brother because of having girlfriend."
"This time I'll shut him." Pavel chuckled, "Masami will help me with that."
"So, ou could ask Masami to help you, whilst you scared to talk to Ren." Maria wasn't surprised.
"It's different things." Pavel quickly disagreed with Maria, "I want to ask Ren and Rinko about that, but Maki told it's not a good idea to ask them, thus I decided to ask Masami."
"I see." Maria said, "I hope your idea will work fine. By the way, I didn't know you can make cheesecakes."
"After all, they're for Ren, that's why I must cook them well." Pavel smirked, "And for whom are you cooking?"
"For Ilya." Maria answered fast, "This lazy one can't cook at all, and is missing Russian food so I cook him from time to time."
"You're like a real mother." Pavel laughed, however Maria didn't feel joy because of that.
"Well." Maria quickly interrupted the boy, "If you want to make them tastier you should take sour cream with sugar. I hope ou remember it?"
"Yeah, but the sour cream here isn't that good as ours." Pavel said sadly, "So it won't be that delicious."
"Take some from yellow box." Maria replied him, "I asked to give some products from Russia so you'll be able to impress her."
"Really?" Pavel was glad that the woman could see that he needed it, "Thank you a lot."
They continued cooking, Pavel could finish everything till Oleg, Ilya and caretaker of the dormitory came to the kitchen.
"Are you cooking breakfast?" the woman asked the boy and the other woman.
"Lunch." Maria answered.
"Then I'll cook breakfast." the woman said with a smiled and started cooking, while the group of Russians went to the dining room.
Oleg turned on the TV and looked and started to switch channels. The woman brought bowls with rice and plates with other food, when they suddenly heard.
"Emergency news!" they all suddenly heard, "Yesterday, two woman were kidnapped in Tokyo." there appeared two photos of some women, one of them had black hair and the second one had fair hair, they had nothing common in their appearance different eye color and face features, "We're informing you to take attention to what is happening around you and not to appear on the street in late time."
"No way!" the caretaker exclaimed.
"Do you know them?" Oleg looked at the woman.
"They're Ayame and Ioko." the woman nodded to the man, "They're retired Taimanin."
"It seems we'll have unexpected work." Oleg didn't like the respond.
"Do you think 'The Third Law' is standing after their kidnappings?" Maria asked Oleg in Russian.
"I hope not." Oleg still was in bad mood, "But I already know that there's nothing good at all."
"And I was hoping to have some rest." Pavel mumbled, "Just when you're relaxed something bad is going to happen."
"Golden words." Ilya wasn't glad too.
"I think we'll have meeting today." Oleg pondered, "Interesting, what Asagi will say on that."
Ren decided to get up earlier too as she wanted to cook special extra lunch for today. She was doing everything fast, and only waiting of boiling slowed her. Ren was rushing from one cupboard to another one taking spices and other ingredients.
'I hope he will enjoy the new recipe.' Ren thought making forms of her onigiri, 'Maybe he'd like to drink something after eating them?' Ren pondered, 'Yes, I think it's good to make some tea for him.' she smiled.
Suddenly Ren heard some steps out of the kitchen, however they were heading to her place.
"What a delicious smell." an old lady entered the kitchen, a smile was on her mouth, "Are you cooking for Maki and Aki?" she asked Ren.
"Granny, you should sleep." Ren looked at the old lady, who was wearing a warm coat with a long skirt.
"Don't worry I'm starting to feel better." the Ren's grandmother sat onto the chair at the table, "So? Will you feed them with them?"
"No." Ren answered with a smile, "For someone else."
"Someone else?" granny looked at Ren with interest, "Is it a boy?" Ren nodded at her question, "Do I know him?"
"No, he is quite new here, I didn't tell you about him." Ren was almost finishing making food.
"Is it that Russian boy?" the lady asked her grandmother.
"Yes, his name is Pavel." Ren answered fairly.
"Is he a good boy?" the woman continued questioning.
"He is." Ren replied with a slight smile, "You know, I have really strict tastes in that stuff."
"You really do." the old lady smiled with a nod, "I hope he helped you in something."
"He helps not only me, but to others too. He tries his best in doing that. That's what I liked in him." however, Ren became a little upset.
"What is it?" the old lady asked her granddaughter, "I hope there was nothing bad between you two?"
"No, but… I don't know how to make first move towards confessing." Ren mumbled then she turned to the woman turning off the stove, "I mean, he is a foreigner and can be called back to Russia any time, so I don't know is it a good idea to talk with him about such things." the old lady said nothing, "Maybe, it's much better for us to stay friends and not risking with that?"
"Depends on what you want from him." the old lady replied to Ren with, "If you feel friendship is better for you then don't make anything, but if you want to have something more. You must talk to him."
"Everything is easy on words." Ren sighed, "If only everything was easy likewise with Maki and Aki."
"You know, your dad was also over thinking. And if not your mother, I think I wouldn't have you." the woman looked at the ceiling, "As a foreigner, I don't think he'll make a first step. So it's up to you dear."
"And that only makes me worried." Ren mumbled, "I hope there will be an opportunity to talk to him about that."
The Russian group left the dormitory, and headed to the academy. They were chatting to each other about casual things.
"Pavel, I hope you remember that my lesson is first today." Maria asked the boy.
"What we'll do today, by the way?" Pavel asked her.
"I think to focus on resisting to mental attacks." Maria replied him, "It an important thing you must know."
"At least, it's a good opportunity to make a boost." Pavel answered Maria.
"Didn't know you like staff like that." Ilya looked at Pavel.
"Well, I also think it's what other must know." Pavel protected Maria's powers, "But, can I ask you about something?" Maria nodded, "Can you be not harsh on Masami? She is still not in good condition to join such lessons."
"Don't worry, I know how to work with such people." Maria answered him and watched at Oleg, "Still thinking about the news?"
"Yes, pondering about those who is after these actions." Oleg replied.
"Well, right now it's now our work." Maria said, "If it's local problems, I think we shouldn't interfere."
"I will disagree with you." Oleg answered her.
"Maria Sergeievna! It's our work too!" Pavel disagreed with her too, "We're working with Taimanin now, so their work is our work."
"And at the same time, if it's the work of those bastards it's our primal task to stop them and find the captured ones." Oleg added.
"I see." Maria nodded, "I hope you know what you're doing."
Their way continued until they reached the gates of the academy. Ilya with Maria headed straight to the building, while Oleg encountered Chikeko and the second one joined him. Pavel met Tatsurou, Rinko, Yukikaze along with Shiranui however decided to have a talk to them.
"How are you guys?" Pavel looked at his juniors.
"Fine, and you?" Yukikaze asked the Russian boy.
"Good, what about you?" Rinko asked him too.
"The same." Pavel chuckled, "Nice to see you're all together." he saw Tatsurou was a little thoughtful, "Hey, Tatsurou what is it?"
"Ah? Nothing." Tatsurou shook with his head.
"He is too thoughtful because of news." Yukikaze answered for him, "When something bad happens, he also like that."
"Yukikaze, I'm just pondering about what could happen to them." Tatsurou didn't like Yukikaze thought he was too thoughtful.
"Yeah, we heard about this too." Pavel nodded.
"I only hope it's not these guys." Shiranui said thinking about the accidents too.
After some time Pavel saw Aki, Maki and Ren, who were going to the academy. Masami also was behind them, however the friends didn't notice her. Pavel greeted his friends and all of them went to their class where they should have Maria's lesson. They the classroom fast and even had a little time to talk. Pavel and Ren talked to Aki and Maki more rather than to each other, as if they were avoiding each other. Even their eyes tried not to watch each other.
Maria came in five minutes before the lesson. She was preparing some papers on her desk, while the students were starting to sit at their places. She did a quick check and then started her lesson.
"Today we will study how to prevent mental attacks." Maria said, "I hope you remember what is needed for that." she saw a hand of Aki and nodded letting him speak.
"We must to think a lot if we don't have a barrier in our head." Aki gave an answer.
"Correct." Maria nodded, "No matter what you're thinking about, just think about everything, likewise you want to eat something or to go somewhere or you want to buy something. Everything is good."
"Sensei!" Maki raised her hand, "It's easy on words, but how is it possible to do that?"
"It's quite simple." Maria said, "Come up, Sato." everyone looked at Maki with a chuckle, "Don't worry everyone will have practice today." Maki got up and went to the teacher, "The situation is next, we are fighting and I grabbed Sato's wrist. I start to affect her mind with my installations." Maria looked at Maki and said, "Start thinking." Maria quickly closed her eyes.
"What I must think about?" Maki pondered out loud and then tensed, 'Damn! Well, probably to eat something after lesson? Yeah to go to Inageya and have something and looked at everyone else. Then I can go and have a walk with Aki!' Maki tried to think a lot, but it was difficult in such pressure.
"Not bad." Maria said, "But you're to think just when your wrist is taken. My brother and Przemislav Wojciechowski focus on striking in minds so it'll be needed second for that. You can sit." Maria said to Maki, who was working out her arm, "Next is Andou.' Maria looked at the brownish haired girl.
Masami came up to the black board, she felt herself better and wasn't afraid of her powers now. Maria took her wrist and then Masami heard a voice in her head.
'Don't worry, I will be easy on you.'
'Ah?!' Masami looked at Maria, 'No need, if it's a practice then I'll bear it.'
'Are you sure?' Maria asked Masami, 'I don't know what can happen.'
'I'm sure.' Masami said.
In next moment Masami felt hot and started to think about everything what was coming to her head. The hot was interrupted; however it still was a little. Then Maria let her hand out and said.
"Not bad too." Maria nodded, "But the same, start thinking, when you're grabbed."
"I'll remember it." Masami answered and returned to her place.
Then several people were called, after some time there was Aki. Maria did everything like that Aki could deal with the mental attack. After several more students Ren was called.
"Everything is the same." Maria looked at Maria, Ren only nodded.
Maria grabbed Ren's wrist and started to do the same.
'Will he like my onigiri? I hope he'll really do. He said they were delicious and, probably these one will be really good too for him? Interesting what he cooked? I'd really like to try his cooking.' Ren was thinking only about Pavel.
Maria opened her eyes and looked pondering at Ren.
"Well done, Ikenami." Maria looked at Ren still with surprise in her eyes.
"Thanks." Ren said with a strange voice, but still returned to her place.
'Was she thinking about Pavel?' the woman watched at the back of the girl.
"Well, am I the next one?" Pave who was the only one asked Maria.
"If you want I can give you something harsher." Maria looked at him with a strange smile.
"I think I'll deal with it." Pavel got up.
Maria bit her finger till blood and drew some circle on the back side of her hand all students were shocked of that but still remembered how Oleg did something like that on his training in the resort.
She quickly grabbed Pavel's hand and in next moment the boy fell onto the floor.
"Damn!" Pavel shouted, "Why in such way?!"
Everyone was scared of what was happening, but still said nothing, even Ren and Masami stayed calm.
'I didn't know you'll do it that way!' Pavel said in his head, 'Probably you should tell you'll use the seal, I'd prepared better. Do you want to make a lab rat of me? It's quite unfair not worrying me!' Pavel was complaining.
"Good." Maria raised Pavel, "Could deal with everything well."
"Sensei! What was that?!" Maki asked the teacher.
"What if you hurt him?" some other girl joined to protection too.
"Don't worry." Pavel said getting up "I've got used to that."
"Have someone of you noticed something?" Maria asked the class.
"You have drew something on your hand with your blood." someone said.
"Was it a seal? When we were on resort Oleg-sensei did something like that." Aki added, "He also explained the rule of their work."
"I see." Maria nodded, "At least I shouldn't tell you the main idea of their work."
"If someone uses seals, you must be careful in double. Usually mental users use such trick in pairs." Maria started, "As for me I'll never risk to do that in battle one on one or even with equal number of opponents. Do you remember the first rule?"
"Get the user of such abilities first." the class said.
"Good." Maria was glad everyone remember it, "Now, I'll tell you about seals of mental powers. They separate only in two, their made for protection and for attack. However when we work in other's heads we can use the third type which will allow to stumble the enemy in people heads."
"Does it mean you have only two types, while the other have three?" Maki asked the woman.
"Yes, but doesn't mean we're weak." Maria quickly predicted what Maki was thinking about, "It's difficult to predict, which one your opponent will make, but you must be ready he'll attack you."
Maria continued her lesson, but after some period of time the bell gave the sign the lesson was over. The woman took her papers and was about to leave the room when Murasaki and Oleg entered the classroom.
"Maria, we're going on a meeting." Oleg said to the woman, Maria nodded and was about to follow them, "Pavel, Ren!" Oleg raised his voice, "You two are going with us."
"Why we take them?" Maria didn't understand the role of the students there.
"I don't know, but Asagi told us to take them too." Oleg replied and all of them went to the place where they were being waited.
Pavel and Ren were surprised why they were called, but still decided to know everything on the place.
They came to the conference room and saw that there had already been Asagi, Shiranui, Chikeko and Sakura.
"I still can't understand why you said to take them with us." Murasaki said when she sat next to Asagi, "What students can offer here?"
"Mu-chan…" Sakura saw a glare of the blue haired woman, "Murasaki…" Sakura corrected herself, "I think you're too preconceived to them."
"After all their ideas work well sometimes." Chikeko joined Sakura's side.
"I understand all of that, but what they can offer us right now?" Murasaki continued to watch at the students.
"I' have some work with them after the meeting." Asagi answered Murasaki, "Ren, Pavel what lesson do you have next?"
"It's chemistry." Ren quickly replied.
"Oleg, tell Hagivara, they'll miss her lesson for today, I'll borrow them." Asagi said watching at Oleg, the man only nodded, and Asagi continued, "Well, I think we can start." Asagi said, "I think all of you know the reason why gathered you all here." everyone except Ren nodded, Asagi noticed that and then continued, "I want to discuss the kidnapping of two retired Taimanin, I think the caretaker told you about them." she watched at Oleg, who only nodded, "Who has any idea on what could happen?"
"Difficult to say." Oleg said, "I don't think 'The Third Law' is in charge of that."
"Why are you sure in that?" Murasaki asked him firmly.
"They don't have any information on your retired Taimanin, it's like to play a Russian roulette not knowing will you take a Taimanin or not."
"I think Oleg is right." Shiranui joined the side of Oleg, "Probably it's NOMAD?"
"While we have problems they decided to join us and give more of them." Sakura didn't like Shiranui's idea, "I hope they don't work together."
"They were attack unexpectedly, I suppose." Chikeko joined the conversation too, "It was at night and in Tokyo, was it in one district or not?"
"Kuro is making investigation right now." Asagi said, "But I suppose it was so."
"Then we have a group." Shiranui sighed.
Everyone heard a call. Asagi took our her phone and with a nod put it into the middle of her table turning on the dynamic of it.
'Captain, everyone were kidnaped in one area the attack were done in different parts of it, but still in the same.' Kuro's voice was heard.
"Have you found some clues on what could it be?" Asagi asked the man.
'No, there's nothing, no blood nothing special, just like someone was waiting them , thought there's still a little mess after fights.'
"I see, when you'll know something report immideately." Asagi hang the phone and returned her attention to the group.
"It's strange." Maria said frowning.
"Those who attacked must be real professionals if there're no clues on what happened." Murasaki mumbled.
"I have a question." Oleg asked Asagi, "How many Taimanin live on that district?" Asagi waited with the answer, "I know it's a secret information, but we're to help you and if it's the work of 'The Third Law', that means we must be there too."
"Sis, I think there's nothing bad in telling them that." Sakura looked at Asagi, Murasaki wanted to protest, but Asagi took the floor first.
"Three Taimanin. Two of them is a married couple and another one is with a man."
"I see." Oleg said, "We must try to defend them, I think the attackers will be careful as they know that we know about that all. So it's important not to reveal our presence."
"Here you're right." Maria replied, "Two squads isn't a big problem."
"What if they'll be attacked in other areas?" Pavel also joined to them, "I don't think they're that stupid, and ant attack now."
"We can't put personal security to each of them." Asagi said, "It's really like a Russian roulette. Fine, right now, I won't use you." Asagi continued, "I'll find several hunters who will watch after the retired ones, if something goes wrong. I'll let you know." Oleg and Maria nodded, "Shiranui, I also wanted to ask you to join our Task Force. I don't know will you agree or not, but…"
"I've already told you, I'm not going to sit without business, while Yukikaze with Tatsurou and Rinko are doing the whole work." Shiranui chuckled, "So, if you need to send me on a mission then do it."
"Thank you for your cooperation." Asagi was glad that Yukikaze's mother accepted the invitation that fast, "Well, for now I think you can be free, when something will be known, I'll gather you again." everyone started to get up, "Pavel, Ren you're still staying with me." Asagi said to them.
The teachers left the room and Asagi couldn't continue.
"No need to worry." Asagi saw tensed faces of the students, "I want to fulfill your request." the principle was watching at Pavel, "Our training will be now."
"Really?!" Ren and Pavel exclaimed, Asagi only nodded and got up, "I also wanted to discuss something with you, Pavel, it's about your sword. Where did you get it?"
"It was given me at our academy." Pavel only replied, "It was really strange, because everyone chose their weapons and I was given it and was taught to use it."
"I see." Asagi only nodded, "Well, let's go, since you're working with me now, you must be prepared well for you enemies."
Ren and Pavel quickly got up and followed Asagi. Both of them were encouraged and couldn't look forward to their practice. Pavel and Ren took their uniform and weapons and headed to the training facility. Both of them did everything fast likewise they didn't want to delay each other.
When they came, Asagi was already in the training room in her battle uniform.
"Are you ready?" Asagi asked them, "Or it good to have warm up for a little?"
"I think, it'd be not bad." Pavel replied exposing his sword.
"Fine. You can start." Asagi didn't remove her eyes from the students.
Pavel and Ren did first move, attacking the head mistress, but Asagi quickly dodged the attack.
"Not, bad. Now a little faster." Asagi commented their work.
"I'll start and you join then." Ren offered Pavel her idea, Pavel only agreed with it and jumped aside, while Ren attacked Asagi.
This time Asagi blocked the lunge of the girl. Ren started to attack Asagi again and again, then Pavel quickly attacked Asagi from behind, however the woman avoided his attack, and then Ren only released a water bullet at Asagi out of her hand.
"Wow?" Asagi repelled the bullet with her katana, "So you now can use water ability." Asagi seemed surprised.
"Now, let change." Pavel told to Ren, and attacked Asagi giving Ren an opportunity to rest.
Pavel grabbed his sword with one hand and started to fight. Asagi was a little wondered that the boy decided to use his sword in such reckless way against her, and that opportunity was sen well by Ren, who quickly started to help Pavel.
'They understand each other really well.' Asagi was glad that the boy and the girl understood their weaknesses and complemented them with their own efforts.
Asagi didn't feel problems in fighting them both, however she was giving them an opportunities to attack her, she was wondered how fast they could see such moments and counter attack her.
Asagi decided to increase the level of fight and became a little serious, Pavel and Ren also felt it, but said nothing only trying their best. Asagi increased her speed, and now students were protecting each other.
"Not a bad strategy. When you fight a strong opponent always try to protect each other's backs." Asagi praised them.
"I'll try to do something, can you take attention?" Ren asked Pavel.
"I'll try." the boy nodded, "And tried to fight Asagi alone.
The boy tried to protect Ren, not giving Asagi an opportunity to break through him. Asagi understand that Ren thought something and wanted to see what was that so she decided to play along.
In next moment Ren released three water bullets and in next moment jumped in order to get Asagi. Ren did two more bullets and then did a large swing being next to Asagi. However the woman could avoid all her attacks, but then she was surprised that Pavel jumped out from behind and wanted to slice the woman in two.
"Not bad at all." Asagi was interested of their moves, "You two really know how to work with each other."
"Thank you." Pavel and Ren replied to their principle.
"I think you can think of something of that, and make your own combination." Asagi offered them an idea.
"Really?" Ren was surprised hearing that.
"Yes, when you work in pair you must understand each other in battle and such attack can help not only to disturb your opponents, but also to kill them if he stumbles." Asagi continued, 'Your weapons are complement well. You always go ahead, while Pavel protects you, and vice versa."
"I suppose we must think about that." Pavel pondered, "After all, it'll be good always impress the enemy."
"Yeah." Ren nodded, "Their surprise must be fatal."
The training continued this time they tried to work over their maneuvers with water bullets. Asagi gave them ideas on how to make it more deadly, and the young one tried to amend their mistakes. After some period of time Asagi decided to end the combat. Pavel and Ren seemed exhausted and fighting Asagi became a pointless tag game.
"I think we'll finish for today." Asagi said, "I hope you'll think of something with your combination."
"Thank you for practicing with us." Ren bowed to Asagi, Pave preferred to do the same.
"No need to thank me, I think we'll repeat it again soon." Asagi chuckled, "And I wanted to ask you about something too."
"What is?" Pavel asked the woman.
"I want to take your sword during fighting with Walter, your sword was the only one that could damage his bones."
"Well, I don't mind, but I'm not used to fight with katana." Pavel said, "They're similar, but the types of attacks are entirely different."
"Here's the problem." Asagi frowned at the boy's words, "Well' will think something about that." she added and then left the room
"Man, I'm so exhausted." Pavel exhaled when Asagi left them alone.
"Me too." Ren agreed with her classmate, "It was really difficult to fight her in the middle of the fight. However, it was really good."
"Yeah, that move we did occasionally. It was really cool." Pavel chuckled.
"How about to explain it?" Ren suddenly offered him, "I think we have time before break."
"Sure!" Pavel was glad Ren offered the idea he wanted to offer her.
They quickly changed to their causal uniform of the academy, and with their school bags headed to the place where they could discuss it. They reached the roof top of the academy and decided to sit there.
Pavel and Ren took out their lunch boxes, Pavel was astonished that a little that Ren took out two of them.
'Is she really did it for me?' Pavel took out two lunch boxes too with a small one too.
'Did he really cooked something for me too?' Ren was aroused and wondered.
Both of them looked at each to her not knowing what to say.
"Well, let's eat." Pavel only mumbled handing the box to Ren, the girl nodded accepting it and gave him hers.
Ren opened his box and saw something she had never seen before.
"Can I know what it is?" she asked him with curiosity.
"First you try it then I'll tell you." Pavel smiled to her, Ren wanted to have a bite, but Pavel quickly stopped her, "Do a first bite like that, and the second one with that." he pointed at a small plastic box.
Ren was intrigued and did a bite.
"It's something like muffin." Ren answered, "It's really tasty." next time she dipped it into the box with some kind of cream, she tried it again, "Wow, it's really better."
"Nice to hear." Pavel smiled, "It's kinda of cheesecake, we make in Russia. With sour cream they're really amazing."
"And now have a try my onigiri." Ren looked at the boy, "I added another filling so I think you'll like them."
"Let's have a try." Pavel chuckled biting the rice pie, "Really good!" Pavel was amazed of the taste, "Is it with fish this time?"
"Yes, I thought it'd be much better to combine seaweeds with something." Ren nodded, "So?"
"They're amazing." Pavel praised the girl finishing one onigiri, while Ren did the same to his cheesecake.
"So, what do you think we should to improve our combination?" Ren asked the boy, "Maybe you start attack first and then I appear do the attack and then you finish the enemy?"
"i suppose the sequence must be lie that." Pavel nodded, "But still I think we need something else."
"What?" Ren bent her head.
"Maybe I should hold my sword in one hand? Sometimes it's really helps, but I need protection as I don't think I'll fight that way for long." Pavel stated starting another onigiri.
"You did really well." Ren looked at him, "I also was amused of such thing."
They talk stopped, as they didn't know what to say further. It was awkward for both of them, and none of them wanted to still calm, but didn't know how to continue, however they still continued eating.
"Ren, can I know something?" Ren looked at him with questioning eyes, "What would you do if something would confess to you in love?" Ren chocked with the piece of food, but still could remain still.
"Why such questions?" Ren didn't understand what the point was for that, Pavel didn't replied so Ren asked him again, "Has someone did that to you?"
"No, that…" Pavel tried to form his question, "Well, I mean what you would do? Just your reaction or answer or something like that…"
"Rejected him, probably." Ren merely replied.
"Got it." Pavel said with a regret note, 'And why I'd ask her?'
"I must know who that person is." Ren continued attracting the boy's attention, "I don't want to start what can be ended fast. I think it's good thing for both sides to know each other better staying friends, and only then start relations."
"And what do you want to find in the one whom you chose?" Pavel asked Ren.
"Reliability, helpfulness, support in what you want to do, possibility to tell everything and find help." Ren listed her items with a smiled watching at the sky "I know that I'm an exacting type."
"I think so to." Pavel agreed to Ren, "And there nothing bad in thinking so." he glanced at Ren, 'How should I confess to her?' Pavel asked the question to himself, 'Damn! Killing demons is much easier than being with her alone.'
They continued to eat and dealt with each other's boxes. Pavel thanked Ren for her food and Ren did the same to the boy. When they finished they noticed that people started to come to their location so they decided to go somewhere, where were not so many people, or just to find Maki, Aki or Masami, in order to interrupt awkwardness between them.
When the second lesson was finished Oleg, decided to go to the teacher's lounge in order to have his lunch.
'I think Masami has already cooked something for me.' Oleg thought, thinking that he won't need his lunch today again, 'It's really sweet and everything like that, but still I don't think she should insist that much.' he rubbed his neck, 'I think I should tell her that.'
When the man was on his way to the needed place he suddenly heard a voice.
"Hey, Oleg!" Sakura jumped out from a turn, "Are you going for lunch?"
"Yes, did you want something?" he watched at Sakura.
"Well, yeah, but could you follow me? Don't want the others to see that." Sakura mumbled.
"What is it?" Oleg didn't understand the point of his colleague, but still followed her.
Sakura led Oleg to her classroom, and when both of them were inside she closed the door in order not to let anyone to enter it.
"I hope you won't do anything reckless?" Oleg didn't like what Sakura had in her mind.
"I wanted to thank you for saving me from that skeleton." Sakura said, "Who knows what could happen to me if you wouldn't appear." Sakura took out a box out of her desk, "Chikeko isn't the only one who can thank with food, so I tried my best to make the same."
"I see." Oleg smiled, "You were excited to give that in crowd, weren't you?"
"No, that's not." Sakura didn't remove her eyes from that box, "I'm not a good cook and I don't want to anyone to see my attempts in cooking."
"Well, I don't think it can be that bad." Oleg come to her and looked at the box, "If you cooked that for me personally, I'll eat."
Oleg opened the box and was puzzled of what he'd just saw.
'Is that fried onigiri?' he didn't know how to react on the view of the food.
"If you don't want you cannot eat them." Sakura said, "I burnt them a little."
'Even she has complexes at something.' Oleg thought and took one of them, "Well, let's just name it a special recipe." Oleg ate one of them, 'Damn! The taste is really awful!' he tried his best not to spit it out, 'The filling is really disgusting. What the hell did she put inside?!' Sakura was watching at Oleg with pleading eyes, 'Crap, I can't make her upset.'
"And? Was it really disgusting?" Sakura asked him.
"Well, they're quite eatable." Oleg took another one and ate it too, "The insides of it are really interesting and because of them the burnt parts aren't that detectable." he ate another one.
There were only five of them and with great effort he could finish them.
"I hope you'll make something like that again." Oleg said to the woman.
"Oleg." Sakura looked at the man, "I'm really grateful, but you shouldn't insist yourself to eat them all." she chuckled then, "I know they were disgusting by the way."
"Understood." Oleg sat onto the chair trying to sense something after eating something like that.
"I'm the worst in cooking and it was the first time I tried to do that." Sakura sat onto the desk, "Usually sis is cooking for me."
"I'm pleased that I'm the first one for whom you cooked." Oleg put on a semblance he was touched, "So I hope you'll improve your recipe next time."
"I'll do my best." Sakura laughed, "But still promise nothing."
Then they continued to talk to each other about their work and other things. Oleg decided not to mix his lunch with Sakura's, as he didn't want to make things worse for him.
