Camelot has faced its greatest threat to date and survived. Things are changing in Camelot for everyone, a new queen and new allies. Merlin and Morgana are called to Avalon. What could they learn there, should they even go.

These subplots of The Passions of Pendragons follow the knights, Tristan & Isolde, and other original characters facing their own challenges and internal battles. The first few chapters are conclusions to The Sorrows of Pendragons that needed to be told.

As Arthur and Merlin amend the laws easing the use of magic, opposition erupts from both nobles and commoners. While the king, queen, and knights prepare for the Golden Age, Dodd-Killian and Mordred plot revenge against them all even as a new threat rises from Escetir. Can Merlin and Arthur avoid a civil conflict and war with Lot before Dodd-Killian and Mordred strike against them?

Soft-footed, Arthur crept around the log Merlin was perched on so he could talk to him face-to-face, expecting to find a moping manservant trying very hard to ignore him. Instead, he was met with wide eyes reflecting the soft white glow of the crystal. (Set in s02e11. Arthur finds Merlin looking into the Crystal of Neahtid.)

In a land of myth and a time of magic, King Vortigern plans an invasion of the West, of people who defend the source of ultimate power and where the destiny of the Old Ways rested on the shoulders of a young warlock... His name... Merlin...

Arthur knew magic and loved it before he ever realised it. No idea how to summarise this. Here's an excerpt instead: He stood to face her. "Have you come seeking vengeance?" The ghost only smiled. Gold glittered in her eyes. "I loved you too much to seek revenge. I only hoped to see what man you had become. And I am glad."

Follows canon but with my own arranged marriage spin on it. What happens when Hunith makes a mistake and is forced on the run with her infant son? What happens when Camelot knights find her twenty years later? What happens when Arthur learns he's betrothed to a peasant boy? Will Merlin be able to stand among royalty? Will these two different boys survive each other? Review!

Basically it will be 50 various scenarios where the show's finale could have gone slightly differently resulting in Arthur surviving explored in drabbles. Some are funny while others are sadder. You have been warned. Currently at Chapter 3: Looks. Cross-posted on AO3.

This story is a collection of missing moments, scenes & episodes that I have thought about. Heavily focused on the main characters & their relationships. Lots of Arthur & Gwen romance and the friendship between Arthur & Merlin plus the other characters Gaius, Knights etc I was inspired by the reactivation of the Merlin Twitter account. During "Hunter's Heart", Arthur finds Gwen's ring. He turns away from Mithian. Meantime, Merlin pays closer attention to her. His secrets come to light. They discover that he and Balinor had links to Nemeth. Agravaine and Morgana plot to kidnap Mithian as well. The resulting adventure turns everything on its head.

Sigan gifted Camelot's citadel with a spell of self-preservation but due to magical neglect and decay at its heart, the citadel that had never been breached is now weakening at its very foundations. It needs a new source of power to sustain it. How handy! There seems to be a magnificent power source close at hand for the parasitic spell..
