(A/N: WARNING. Ok, I need to give a small warning in this chapter for, I guess, sensitive material dealing with sexuality. I don't want to get too into detail right now for risk of spoilers, so I'll address it at the end. I know, it's not that helpful to give a warning and not mention what it is, but I kind of have to. If something bothers you this chapter, look into my Author's Note at the end if you usually don't read those, because I'll be addressing it there. Just know that I'm only going off the idea that was planned for the canceled sequel. Ok then, let's get to it.)

Second Disclaimer: The song that appears in this chapter is the unused and unreleased song intended for the canceled Rocky Horror sequel. It's called Judy, Judy, Judy, by Richard O'Brien, all credit goes to him. Since the song was never released, it should be ok to use.

Chapter 2: Lamenting Lost Loves

Being a single mother was not easy. That's what everyone kept telling Janet Weiss. Well, Janet Majors now, for all the good that meant since she lost her husband a few months ago. To say that this was the direction she thought her life would take would be a complete lie. She never in a million years thought that she would end up where she was now. But then again, she didn't think many things would happen the way they did.

For a long time, Janet had lived a normal life, or as normal as life could be based on society's standards of what was considered "normal". She had been dating her sweetheart, Brad Majors, for quite a while, and then, at the wedding of one of their friends, he had finally proposed to her. Janet had been overjoyed and eagerly accepted his proposal. But on the journey to tell her parents the big news, that's when their lives had taken as big of a turn from normal as possible.

There was no way either of them could have seen any of this coming. Getting a flat tire and then stumbling upon a big mansion that was actually owned by an intergalactic alien from the Planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania was not a situation someone would ever consider ending up in. But that was exactly what had happened to Janet and her fiancé.

The events of that night had been so outrageous that no one would ever believe it. Watching Dr. Frank-N-Furter create what he deemed to be the perfect specimen of a man and then kill another, having her first sexual awakening with someone other than Brad, losing her virginity to the creature created by the man who brought forth her sexual awakening, finding out that the people who owned the mansion were aliens and that her fiancé's friend and former teacher, Dr. Scott, was researching them and was actually the uncle of the man who she had witnessed the murder of, getting turned to stone and then nearly brainwashed into Frank's way of life, watching three more people get killed by a space laser, and then watching as the entire mansion flew off into space. Yes, no one could have possibly seen any of that coming, nor would they believe it had they not been there to witness it themselves.

There was no going back to normal after that. Not completely. They'd tried to put it behind them. They even got married like they had originally planned, but some things were just never the same again. Brad, it seemed, had been particularly affected by the experience, having developed certain hobbies that many people would frown on. In fact, it was due to these new hobbies that he became a professional go-go dancer in Las Vegas, only to fall to his death from a trapeze, and was later buried wearing only a rhinestone choker and six inch high-heels.

And so came the end of Janet's short-lived marriage to her sweetheart of many years. Not exactly the happily-ever-after she had been hoping for. Just a few months after having gotten married, Janet was single once again. And to make matters worse, she was pregnant.

It wasn't Brad's. She knew it wasn't. Despite their sexual awakenings at Frank's mansion, both Janet and Brad had attempted to return to their normal lives. That included their previous lifestyle of no sex before marriage. Both of them had broken that life choice the night their lives had taken a hard left turn. First Janet had been convinced to allow Frank to go down on her, then, after seeing security footage of Brad in bed with Frank after having clearly done the deed with him, she had seduced Rocky and given the creature her virginity.

Even now, she wasn't sure what had come over her that night. Even when she had thought that Frank was Brad when he came to her in disguise, she ordinarily wouldn't have allowed Brad to touch her that way until they were married. But Frank was somehow able to convince her to open up to the carnal pleasures life had to offer. And as long as they didn't actually do the deed and Brad would never find out, then there shouldn't really be any real harm in enjoying it a little bit.

At least that had been what she had told herself at the time. It wasn't an excuse, but it had made sense to her at the time when she was all hot and bothered. She had been left feeling guilty and ashamed afterwards though, which is why she had gone in search of Brad after that. But what she had found was not what she had expected.

Frank was obviously a master of seduction. Janet knew that he swung both ways, having already made it clear that both Columbia and Eddie were former lovers of his, and then he had created the creature, Rocky Horror, to be his idea of the perfect male lover. However, never in a million years did she think that Brad would end up succumbing to Frank's seduction as well.

It had felt like a double betrayal to Janet. Not just because Brad had cheated on her, going even farther with Frank than she had, but also because it had been with another man, something Janet, and perhaps even Brad himself, had never known he was capable of. It was in that moment of being emotionally vulnerable that she had come across Rocky, having recently escaped from Frank's clutches after he had done who knew what kind of perverse acts to the poor guy.

As Janet had tended to Rocky's wounds, he had responded with affection. And, well, things had escalated from there. Janet wasn't exactly proud of it, but she had chalked it up to being emotionally distraught after catching Brad in bed with Frank. It had made her feel rebellious, and, perhaps she had also acted a bit out of revenge. And despite claiming that she didn't like men with too many muscles, that had been a lie for Brad's benefit so he wouldn't feel inadequate next to Rocky.

Of course she had found Rocky and his muscles attractive. Frank may have been crazy, but he had certainly been spot-on about designing the perfect specimen of a man. Janet hadn't been able to hold back her attraction, and so she had seduced him. It hadn't been hard, as Rocky seemed just as drawn to her as she was to him, and the two of them had ended up sharing a very heated sex session. And despite Rocky only being born a few hours ago, he had been a spectacular lover.

But actions had consequences, and two wrongs did not make a right. Both Brad and Frank had discovered Janet and Rocky together, and it had been very obvious what they had done. To say that things had been awkward after that would be an understatement, but then things had escalated due to Dr. Scott's appearance, and events had spiraled out of control for the rest of the night, ending with Riff Raff and Magenta staging a mutiny against Frank, killing him, Columbia, and, much to Janet's heartbreak, Rocky as well. They had then return to their home planet of Transsexual, taking the whole mansion with them, leaving her, Brad, and Dr. Scott behind.

How does one return to normal after such a night? Well, Janet and Brad had tried. They decided that they would put that night behind them and just pretend it never happened. Dr. Scott had given them a ride until they found a place to get their car fixed. Along the way, the three of them had decided to keep quiet about everything that had happened at the Furter mansion before parting ways, with Janet and Brad resuming their journey to her parents' house and Dr. Scott returning to his own home, finally having closure on his nephew's disappearance and able to close the book on the Transylvanian invasion.

After announcing their engagement, Janet and Brad had gotten married rather quickly. Rather than having a longer engagement and a grand wedding, it had happened only a handful of weeks after they announced their engagement, and it had been relatively small. They had used the excuse that after having dated for so long that they had wanted to begin their lives together as quickly as possible. And while they were indeed eager to get married, that wasn't the only reason; they had wanted to get started on the next chapter of their lives and close the book on the previous one that had held the events of that night.

There hadn't really been any major objections from either of their parents since both knew and were on good terms with the two of them, so the wedding had been a small and quiet affair with only their close family and friends. And just like that, they had put the past behind them and embraced their new futures.

At least that's how it appeared on the surface. For the most part, Janet and Brad seemed like your typical married couple. And while they were, there was now more to them than what meets the eye. Despite deciding to forget that night, the two of them had been changed by the experience. Janet had found herself much more open and aggressive sexual nature, open to things she would have considered improper or dirty before, and the same was true for Brad as well.

It wasn't so bad, as the major sexual awakening the two of them had had, coupled with the new desire to explore and push different boundaries and experiment as they sought out to discover what other pleasures there were, even in things some members of society might consider improper or scandalous, were indeed quite enjoyable. And while they were a little more open to this new side of themselves behind closed doors, they kept it hidden from the public.

Was it the lingering effects of Frank's brainwashing, or had the night's events simply awakened a part of themselves that they hadn't known was there? They didn't know, but they did their best to suppress it, for their own sake as well as their spouses. The real problem, however, was the change that had occurred in Brad. In addition to his new interests in the different kinds of pleasures in the world, it seemed that his tastes had begun to shift away from women and more towards men.

Brad did his best to ignore the desires he was now having towards men and focus on his now much more sexually open wife, whom he seemed to be losing more and more interest in sexually, often leaving her unsatisfied and feeling neglected. They still loved each other, that much never changed, but this change in Brad took a toll on their relationship.

And then the discovery was made. Children had been something that both Janet and Brad had wanted, but when they discovered that Janet was pregnant, it sent up a major red flag. The timing was completely off, and a checkup with the doctor revealed that Janet was much too far along in her pregnancy for it to have occurred on their wedding night. And that had been the first time the two of them had slept together.

There was no doubt about it. Aside from Brad, excluding Frank having gone down on her, Janet had only ever had one other lover. What more, based on how far along in her pregnancy she was, the time matched up. She was pregnant with Rocky's child.

It had been a hard blow. And it wasn't just Janet and Brad who would be affected. There would be no hiding this from their parents. Fortunately, both Brad's parents and Janet's seemed to assume that the child was Brad's, and that the real reason their kids had wanted to get married so quickly was to have a shotgun wedding. They allowed their parents think that; it was easier that way.

What wasn't easy was the impact this had on Janet and Brad's already strained relationship. Janet hadn't expected her act of rebellion and revenge to come with such consequences. Surprisingly though, Brad had taken it much better than either of them had thought he would.

It seemed he had accepted the part he had played in driving Janet into Rocky's arms that night after she had seen him and Frank in bed together. Despite the fact that Janet had technically betrayed him first by letting Frank perform oral sex on her, she hadn't gone all the way with him, not like Brad had. They were both aware of how seductive Frank was and how he was somehow able to lure others into his carnal ways. So despite the situation, they had forgiven each other and attempted to move on with their lives.

Of course, all options regarding Janet's pregnancy had been explored. There were a lot of factors to consider after all, aside from her and Brads reputation, such as the fact that there was a good chance that Rocky, presumably, hadn't been entirely human. After all, Frank had been an alien, and he had made Rocky. What exactly that entitled though, neither Janet or Brad knew.

But be that as it may, Janet just couldn't bring herself to snuff out this innocent life growing inside her. And though she would never admit it to Brad, she was glad to have this little piece of Rocky with her. She hadn't known him long at all, but she had come to care for him very quickly, even prior to taking him as her lover. And she and Brad could always have their own child or children later.

But while Brad may have handled the fact that his wife was pregnant with another man's child better than they had thought, it had also become a turning point. Since they could no longer pretend that that night didn't happen with the evidence of it growing in Janet's womb, Brad no longer felt the need to hold back on the more scandalous side of himself, and so gave into his more hidden and taboo desires. This had been what had led to him becoming a professional go-go dancer, which had led to an accident that caused his death.

Had Janet known what her husband's new profession would lead to, she would have spoken out against it. But she hadn't, so she didn't. She didn't exactly feel like she had the right to. After all, she knew firsthand what it felt like to give into your desires and commit an act of rebellion, and she now carried the result of that act in her womb. So how could she have denied Brad this? Plus, despite knowing what their friends and family would think of his new job, she had secretly enjoyed seeing him perform; just another result of the night that had changed both of their lives.

Losing Brad had been very hard on her, and she had grieved for him for a long time. She was still mourning him actually, but she knew that she couldn't wallow in misery forever. She was an expecting mother after all, and had to think of her child. Parenthood was a difficult job with both parents, it would be even harder as a single mother.

But still, Janet was determined to get by. So she got her act together and did what she had to. What more, the loss had helped her get her act together, helping her to get over much of the influence Frank had instilled within her that night. She had some help from both her parents, and Brad's too; the latter of which making her feel very guilty since they believed they were supporting their grandchild, but what else could Janet do? Fortunately, she had also received money from Brad's life insurance, and the settlement she had received in court from Brad's employers had been a great help as well.

She also received help from someone else. She needed to confide in and talk to someone about everything. And since she no longer had her husband, she turned to the only other person she felt she could trust, Dr. Scott.

After the events of that night, both Janet and Brad had gotten closer to Dr. Scott. He was, after all, the only other person who could understand their situation. And after Brad's death, Janet had confided in him about everything, including who her child's father really was. Much to her surprise though, he revealed that he already knew, or at least suspected. After all, he had been there when she and Rocky had been discovered together post-coitus, and he didn't need to be a medical doctor to figure out the estimated timing of her pregnancy's occurrence based on how far along she was.

He didn't judge her, especially after he found out that Brad knew and accepted the child's parentage. He'd become her confidant after that, often checking in on her, monitoring and keeping tabs on her, and the two of them had grown close, with Janet almost viewing him as a second father, and him seeing her as a surrogate daughter.

He was coming over today, and so Janet was preparing lunch for the two of them, her heavily pregnant stomach bulging out. At nine months pregnant, she was due to give birth soon, and so Dr. Scott was checking on her more often to make sure she and the baby were ok. Thus far, there had been no complications, despite Rocky being whatever he was. Janet jokingly liked to think that it was because Frank created the perfect man, so it only made sense that Rocky would produce the perfect offspring.

Janet sighed as she relaxed on the couch with a cup of tea, occasionally stroking her stomach. She felt the baby kick, and it made her smile. Rocky's child was certainly a rowdy thing; she was definitely going to have her hands full with him. And yes, she knew it was a boy from the ultrasound she had received. And very soon, she would hold her son in her arms. It was something she was really looking forward to.

As she sat and watched TV, the program Marriage Maze, hosted by the kooky, and supposedly blind host, Bert Schnick, came on. It was one of Janet's favorite shows, but she began to wonder if she had been watching a little too much of it lately after having a dream last night where she and Brad were on it, and Brad had a long-lost twin brother called Farley Flavors, who was trying to take over the town of Denton where she lived, and had imprisoned Brad on a soap opera called Dentonvale that centered in a mental hospital that was run by a brother and sister duo while Farley had tried to take Janet for himself by turning her into a singing diva superstar in his show Faith Factor. Talk about a crazy dream.

But as crazy as it had been, it still had nothing on that night. How strange was it that real life could actually be more insane than such a freaky dream, but such was her life. At least preparing for motherhood had helped her regain some normalcy. Things had almost returned to the way they were before that night, with the exception of some of the new interest and sexual awakenings Janet had gained.

She was pulled from her thoughts by a knock at her door, and she smiled as she set down her cup of tea. Taking a breath, she gripped the armrest of the couch and hoisted herself up. Being so far along in her pregnancy could make moving difficult, but she managed, and began shuffling towards the door.

She opened it and smiled down at the friendly face of Dr. Scott. He gave her a smile of his own and lifted his hand in greeting. "Janet, so wonderful to see you again."

She resisted the urge to chuckle. They had just seen each other last week. As she got closer and closer to her due date, the former science teacher had visited more often to check on her. Though it was primarily out of concern for her wellbeing, as a scientist for the U.S. Government Bureau of Investigation of UFOs, he was naturally curious about her and her child, though her assured her that he would never tell a soul about her child's true father or parentage, and she believed him.

"Dr. Scott," she said with delight, "please come in."

She stepped aside, allowing the scientist to wheel his way inside. Sadly, Dr. Scott was a paraplegic, and thus was confined to a wheelchair. He certainly hadn't allowed that to limit him though.

"Thank you, my dear," he replied, and wheeled himself inside.

Janet closed the door and walked alongside him as he scooted himself into her house. "May I take your coat?"

"Oh, no, I got it," he replied, and began removing the coat in question and folding it across his lap. "You shouldn't be overexerting yourself."

Janet let out an amused laugh. "I'm perfectly capable of hanging up a coat. I hang up mine all the time."

He let out a chuckle as well. "Of course, forgive me. I don't mean to make you out as an invalid." He ran a hand down his leg. "I should know what that's like."

She smiled at him. "Come now, Dr. Scott, you know you'll outlive us all."

"Flattery will get you everywhere, my dear."

They headed into the living room to where Janet had been watching TV. Dr. Scott raised an eyebrow at the program and gave Janet a look. "DTV? You should really watch something more educational."

Janet smiled; he really was like a second father to her. "In a few days I'll have my hands full for quite a long time." She ran her hand over her round stomach. "I'm taking the time I can get for myself while I can still get it."

He laughed at that. "Yes, you'll certainly have your hands full. Boys can certainly be rowdy. Eddie definitely was. My sister frequently asked me to babysit him just so she and her husband could have a night to themselves." He reached out and patted her hand. "But I'm sure you'll do a much better job at raising your son than my sister did."

Mixed feelings weld up inside Janet at his words, but she was at least glad to see that he was able to speak openly about his nephew. As much of a delinquent that Eddie was, Dr. Scott had loved him, and it had been difficult to learn that Frank had murdered him, made all the worse that he had also tricked them all into eating him.

But perhaps Eddie wasn't completely gone. After all, Frank had taken… material from Eddie to make Rocky. Janet didn't know the whole ins and outs of it, but she wondered if since she was carrying Rocky's child if Dr. Scott somehow viewed it as having a bit of his nephew in it.

"I hope you're hungry," she said in an attempt to change the subject, and went to retrieve the lunch she had prepared.

As she returned with the tray, he gave her an appreciative look. "Thank you, my dear, but you didn't have to go out of your way for this old man."

She just smiled as she set the tray down on the coffee table. "They're just some finger sandwiches, hardly difficult to make. Besides," she sat down on the couch and rubbed her stomach, "I'm eating for two."

Dr. Scott's eyes went to her stomach. "Yes, that's certainly true. And your due date is coming up, is it not?"

It was a rhetorical question, he knew her due date, but she nodded all the same. "It should be any day now. It'll certainly be a relief to have him in my arms and not my stomach."

He laughed at that. "Yes, you say that now, but just wait until his crying keeps you up at night."

She winced. "Oh, I am not looking forward to that. But I am looking forward to not being fat anymore."

"Nonsense, you're not fat, you're pregnant."

"Flattery will get you everywhere, Dr. Scott," she replied, throwing his own words back at him.

He smiled at her retort, but his expression became serious. "Yes, well, all pleasantries aside, Janet, how are you doing?"

Her smile faltered a little. "I'm doing well, all things considered. Getting by one day at a time."

He nodded at that, then motioned to her stomach. "And the baby? You had another ultrasound since I saw you last. Everything is still normal?"

She stroked her stomach again. "Yes, all is well. The baby is perfectly healthy. Only…"

She trailed off, and a worried look crossed over Dr. Scott's face. "What is it? Is something wrong?"

She shook her head. "Oh no, everything is fine, just as I said. It just so happens that the baby is more…" her cheeks colored and a bashful smile crossed her face, "muscular than normal."

"Oh?" Dr. Scott replied. Then his eyes widened in realization. "Oh…"

Janet's face heated more as she blushed furiously. "It seems he really does take after his father."

Feeling awkward, Dr. Scott cleared his throat. "Yes, well, I suppose that is unusual this early on, but considering who and what his father is, I guess it should be somewhat expected under the, um… circumstances."

Janet nodded shyly. "Yes, the circumstances."

The two sat in an awkward silence, both trying to find a change in topic. Going with the first thing that came to her, Janet cleared her throat and asked, "So, how are things between you and Judy?"

The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted it, especially when she saw his face fall. That alone told her the news wasn't good.

Letting out a sigh, Dr. Scott hesitated for a few long moments before saying, "I'm afraid it's over between us."

Janet's shoulders slumped at his words. Although, a part of her knew this would happen sooner or later. Judith Brankmire was a woman Dr. Scott had been dating for the past few years. Janet had met her a few times, and she seemed like a very nice lady, and she cared for Dr. Scott, despite his disability. They really had made a sweet couple, just like her and Brad had.

But also like Brad, Dr. Scott had been affected by that night. His tastes too had begun to shift away from women and more towards men, a result of Frank's influence and brainwashing. This had caused the relationship between Dr. Scott and Judy to start to fall apart, and now it seemed that it was slowly at an end.

"I'm so sorry," she told him. "You two made such a cute couple."

He sighed. "It's alright. Besides, now she can find someone who is a little more," he rubbed his leg, "complete."

Janet's eyes narrowed. "You're plenty complete."

That made him smile. "I appreciate that, Janet. But at least now I don't need to hide my desires anymore. And it does open me up to so many new possibilities. If I have been changed by what happened that night, I might as well embrace it and enjoy it."

Janet's eyebrows rose. When he put it that way, she supposed this could be seen as a good thing. Brad had seemed much happier when he stopped fighting the changes he had undergone and embraced the life he desired. "I guess that's a good way of looking at it. But still, it's too bad what happened between you two."

Sighing again, Dr. Scott nodded. "Yes, I suppose so. But at least I'll always have the memories of those good times."

He looked out into the distance as he remembered the past, and everything around him changed as a flashback occurred. He was envisioning it now, the time when he first met Judy. He was in the supermarket, wheeling his chair down the grains section. And as he watched his past-self in the flashback roll along, he began singing.

"She stood quite a good five foot seven.

A Caucasian to praise and inspire.

Peaches and cream,

an American dream,

built more to adore than admire."

As he sang, he watched as his past-self stopped beside a shelf. He began looking at the products, then a silent "Ah-ha!" escaped him as he spotted what he was looking for. It was a little too high for him though while in his wheelchair, and he strained to reach it. It was still too high, and his fingers just barely grazed the bottom of the shelf the product was on.

Suddenly, a dainty hand took what he was reaching for, taking it down and handed it to him. The past Dr. Scott looked up to see a well-endowed woman. She gave him a big grin as she handed the product out to him, but he didn't take it and simply stared at her, dumbfounded.

Letting out a light laugh, she took his hand and placed the item in it. That seemed to snap him out of his stupor, and he thanked her, then held out his other hand in greeting. She took the offered hand and gave it a shake, and then pointed to the product, and her lips moved as she silently asked if that had indeed been what he had been reaching for, and the past Dr. Scott quickly and over-eagerly told her that it was.

"She was the real McCoy,

nothing like a boy.

Veritably natural,

actually factual,

genuinely feminine,

conclude that she's a cutie.

Who'd stick with you through thick and thin.

My Judy-Judy."

The present-day Dr. Scott watched as the scene changed to show his past-self and Judy in the park. Judy was pushing his wheelchair as they made their way through the park, talking and laughing. Other couples were present, holding hands and walking along, but the two of them seemed oblivious to it all.

Then they were suddenly having a picnic. Judy was sitting on a blanket while past Dr. Scott sat in his wheelchair. Judy was reaching into the picnic basket, taking out its contents and placing them down on the blanket. She was wearing a little black dress that showed off her figure. The past Dr. Scott's eyes went to her exposed legs, running up and down their length. Judy caught him looking, and he gave her an embarrassed smile, but she just laughed it off, and he soon found his gaze drawn to her lips.

"She had legs that went right up to Heaven,

and hair the color of fire.

The slimmest of hips,

irresistible lips,

and unquenchable sexual desire."

The scene changed again. Now the past Dr. Scott and Judy were seated at a café eating ice cream cones. They talked and laughed while licking their cones. Judy pointed to his cone, telling him that it was melting, and the past Dr. Scott quickly licked it up, but ended up getting ice cream smeared all over his mouth.

Judy laughed and motioned to her own mouth, indicating the mess he had on his face. She shrugged and reached for a napkin, but then a car drove by, and the napkin blew away. The past Dr. Scott glanced at it as it flew off and let out a sigh. But then Judy grasped his chin and pulled his face back so he faced her and used her own napkin to wipe his mouth clean before pressing a kiss to his cheek. All the while, the present-day Dr. Scott watched the scene play out from a distance.

"God went and broke the mold

when this center-fold

lost her childhood awkwardness,

and blossomed into loveliness.

Think of how our life could be.

Include the tootie fruity.

I think that she's the wife for me.

My Judy-Judy."

The flashback slowly faded out, and Dr. Scott found himself back inside Janet's living room as he ended his song. He let out a sigh and glanced at Janet as she watched him. He gave her a small smile and sat back as he relaxed in his chair.

"I never heard you speak of her that way before," Janet told him. "You really cared about her, didn't you?"

He nodded sadly, still maintained the small smile on his face. "I did, but life goes on. There's no point in dwelling on the past. All we can do is embrace the future."

Janet nodded in agreement. That's what she had been trying to do these past nine months, but it seemed that the hooks that had buried into them that night were still in deep. Both her and Dr. Scott's lives had been forever changed by it, and all they could do was deal with it and move on.

"Speaking of the future," he continued, "have you given any thought about my offer to set you up with colleague? He was asking about you again?"

Janet sighed. She knew of whom the scientist was referring to. Apparently, there was a man her age called Ray Ammbo that Dr. Scott worked with, who was the head of a U.S. Agency which investigates UFO and extraterrestrial activity on Earth. Dr. Scott was on good terms with him and thought that he and Janet would get along very well, and had attempted to set the two of them up several months after Brad's death in an attempt to help her move on, and so she would have someone there to help her with the baby when it was born.

While Janet had appreciated the offer, she still felt like it was too soon to get back into the dating field, and so had politely decline the offer then, just as she decided to do so now. "I still don't think I'm ready yet. And with the baby almost due, things are too up in the air. Maybe later on, but not now."

Dr. Scott nodded in acceptance. "I understand. But whenever you're ready, I'd be happy to set something up for the two of you. I really do think you'll get along great." His gaze then drifted down to her stomach, and he nodded at it. "So, have you settled on a name yet? I know you were still deciding when I last saw you."

Janet frowned slightly and glanced down at her stomach. She stroked it affectionately before replying, "Yes, I thought about it for a while, and I came to a decision. I decided to name him Sonny." She hesitated for a moment. "I decided on a middle name too."

When she didn't say anything more, Dr. Scott probed. "Yes? What did you decide for it?"

She shifted uncomfortably for a few moments before responding. "Rocky. Sonny Rocky Majors." She glanced at the scientist expectantly. "Do you think that's wrong?"

Dr. Scott's eyebrows rose as he realized she was asking if he thought that it was inappropriate that she was giving her baby the same middle name as the child's father's first name, and while maintaining the surname of her husband at that. He could indeed see why she would wonder if doing this would be unorthodox.

He cleared his throat, trying to find the right words. "Well, Janet, I'm afraid that's up to you. I don't know what it's like for you, so I have no say in the matter. Nor do I have the right to judge you. But if that's what you decided on, then I support your decision." He inclined his head. "It's not like anyone else knows the truth."

She gave him a sad yet appreciative smile and began stroking her stomach again. "I know the baby isn't his, but Brad would have been a good father to him. And since my son will have his last name, I thought I should at least give him his real father's name as well. I almost went with that for his first name, but that did seem too inappropriate. But still, I just couldn't let it go. This is the last part of Rocky left in the world, and I…"

Her voice cracked slightly as she began tearing up. Dr. Scott reached out and patted her hand comfortingly. "It's alright, Janet. You know I don't judge you. And even if other people somehow find out that Brad isn't the father, they have no right to judge you either. You were in some rather unusual and extenuating circumstances. Behaving out of the ordinary is to be expected."

More tears came, and she began fanning herself. "I'm sorry. Hormones."

He nodded. "It's understandable."

Janet wiped her eyes and took a few deeps breaths before continuing. "It's not so much what I did. As you said, it was an unusual set of circumstances. What really gets me is that I don't regret what I did. I regret hurting Brad, and I'm sorry for what I did, but I don't regret it. Being with Rocky, it was the most pleasurable and erotic moment of my life. And it gave me my son, of course." She suddenly seemed to realize what she said and turned beet red. "Forgive me, that was inappropriate."

Though Dr. Scott looked uncomfortable, he nodded. "Well, your personal affairs are none of my business. But yes, please try and keep such intimate details to yourself."

Janet still looked bashful as she willed the warmth out of her cheeks. She tried to save face by searching for another matter to discuss, and her thoughts took her to a more troublesome place.

"I'm scared, Dr. Scott," she admitted. "As excited as I am to be a mother, I'm also terrified. I'm afraid to be a parent, especially a single parent."

He gave her a serious look. "Of course you are. All new parents find it frightening. It's perfectly natural. Even parents who already have other children get scared for new ones. And since you're on your own, it will be particularly nerve-wracking." He took her hand, giving it an encouraging squeeze. "But I have faith in you, my dear. You're a good, strong woman."

"I cheated on Brad."

He sighed. "No one is perfect. We all make mistakes, but we grow and learn from them. Besides, that has no reflection on how you'll handle being a mother. Yes, it's going to be difficult, especially as a single parent, but many other women do it. I'm sure you'll do fine. And you'll have your parents, and Brad's, to help you, and you know you can always count on me."

She gave him a grateful smile. "you've been such a great friend, Dr. Scott, and I thank you. You're really the only one I can talk to."

He gave a hearty laugh. "My dear, you've been just as helpful to me. There's not exactly anyone else I can talk to about that night either."

A light chuckle escaped Janet and she picked up one of the finger sandwiches, holding it up as if she were going to perform a toast. "Well, here's to being confidants."

Smiling, Dr. Scott picked up a sandwich and mimicked her. "And here's to putting the past behind us."

They both made to take a bite when suddenly a blinding bright light filled every window. Both Janet and Dr. Scott froze and looked to the windows as they were bathed in white light. The light continued to grow in intensity until it was all but impossible to see. The TV suddenly became static-filled, and numerous loud voices blasted out from it.

"LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!"

"Oh dear," Janet muttered, sounding as if she were in a state of shock.

Suddenly, the glass of all the windows shattered and the wall in front of Janet and Dr. Scott exploded, allowing the light to completely fill the room, making it impossible for anything to be seen in the brightness.

A few seconds passed, and then the light seemed to be sucked out of the room. In the process, it was as if the explosion that had occurred was suddenly reversed, as if time had been turned backwards. The walls and windows repaired themselves, as did any damage to any furniture as everything returned to its original position.

The light suddenly went out, as if a switch had been flipped, and then the event was over, as if it had never occurred at all. Only one thing was different, Janet and Dr. Scott were gone.

(A/N: Ok, so a lot of things to address here. First, the sensitive subject matter I mentioned. I am referring to Frank having turned both Brad and Dr. Scott gay. I know full well that that's not how sexuality works. Yes, you can discover new things about yourself sexually, but you can't be "turned" like that. However, that was a theme for the planned sequel, that Frank had turned both Brad and Dr. Scott gay, so I went with that theme. And also, yes, Brad dying after becoming a go-go dancer was also planned for the sequel, so I went with that too. There were also a couple new characters that were going to be introduced, including Janet's new love interest. Judy was another, but I used her character as the now ex-girlfriend of Dr. Scott in order to incorporate the song Judy, Judy, Judy. I also decided to make Shock Treatment be a dream Janet had from watching too much of a TV show from the movie so I could work that into the story somehow as a reference. Lastly, and this is the biggest thing, is Janet's son, Sonny. In most ideas for a sequel, Janet had a son named Sonny, whose father was always called into question as to whether it was Frank's, Rocky's, or Brad's. Some ideas had her pregnant she would give birth to later, some had Sonny as a baby, some had him as a teenager. I obviously decided to go with the her still being pregnant idea. Truthfully though, I don't know why Sonny's father was ever called into question. It can't be Frank's since it was stated that Janet was still a virgin when she slept with Rocky and that Frank only went down on her, so that only left Rocky. Well, and Brad if she didn't become pregnant that night, but in none of the sequels was Brad ever his father. So yeah, phew, like I said lots to go over this chapter, but there's also a lot to come too, so stay tuned for more, because things are going to get crazy from here.)
