Chapter 22

Night Out

It was a few days after they took down Annie. Then they discovered their were Titans in the wall. Hange almost had killed Pastor Nick for keeping this from everyone. Levi wasn't impressed.

Kara stepped out of her room in a Black skirt, white blouse with a black corset wrapped around her. Jean and her were slipping out for the night. Her long blonde hair was down in curls.

Jean was waiting out in the courtyard with Lucky and his horse. Jean looked up as Kara comes up to him. He was dressed in pants and grey shirt. Kara smiled at him. "Where we going?"

"You'll see." Jean said with a smirk as he handed Lucky's reins to me. Kara swung up onto Lucky as Jean got on his.

Unknownst to them. Levi stood in the window watching. He already suspected the two were together after they had captured Annie. The way the two embraced and how Jean kissed her forehead. He wasn't blind, but he knew his daughter worried how he would react. Levi worried Jean would hurt Kara, but had a feeling he wouldn't.

"Aren't they cute?" Hange asked coming over.

"Tch. The brat is stubborn to tell me." Levi said.

"I think she's afraid you'll beat his ass." Hange said. Levi sighed.

"I won't less he hurts her." Levi said. Hange just chuckled.

"I don't think he will, shorty. Be nice to him." Hange said, walking away. Levi looked out the window to see Kara and Jean head out the gate.

Kara rode behind Jean as they rode through the woods. The night was warm and the stars shown bright. Kara help but smile. It was defently a beautiful night to get out.

"We're almost there." Jean called behind him. They came into a clearing by a lake where a blanket laid out by it. Jean pulled his horse to a stop. Kara did the same with hers. The lake was close and there was a quilt laying on the ground. Jean jumped off his horse and Kara slid off her horse.

"You came here earlier?" Kara asked. Jean nodded as he held out his hand for her. She took it. Jean pulled her towards the blanket. They sat talking as they ate some of the food that Jean was able to save before Sasha ate everything. "This is why you told me to skip dinner." She cuckled. Jean smirked. Jean grabbed her hand and pulled her to him.

"I didn't want to tell you and ruin the surprise." Jean said. Jean pressed his lips against hers and they kissed. Jean gently pulled back and stood up.

"Jean what." Kara said as Jean grabbed her arms and pulled her to her feet. Kara squealed as Jean threw her over his shoulders. "Jean!" Jean chuckled with a smrik on his face. "Put me down."

"Nah." Jean said as he headed for the lake. Kara's eyes widen. Luckily Levi taught her how to swim before she joined the Cadet Corps.

"Jean. Don't you fucking dare." Kara said as Jean stepped into the water. Jean had a smirk on his face and Kara's eyes widen as she sees him go further into the water. "Jean!" Jean dropped her into the water. She came up, spitting out the water. Jean was hunched over laughing. Kara stood up. Her shirt clung to her. She was glaring at Jean.

"Shit." Jean started to run and Kara ran after him. She tackled him into the water. Jean grunted as he hit the sand. They had reached the shallow end. Kara was stradling him. Kara leaned down.

"Learned your lesson?" Kara said with a smirk on her face. Jean was drenched like Kara. Jean reached up and tangled his hand in her blonde hair.

"Never. Though you look beautiful all wet." Jean said. He pulled her head down and kissed her. She returned the kiss. She shivered in the water. "Let's get out of the water." Kara stood up and helped Jean stand up. Jean wrapped an arm around her and pulled her towards the blanket. They sat in the grass with the blanket wrapped around both of them. Kara leaned against Jean. Jean kept an arm around her. Kara laid a head on Jean's shoulder and relaxed agaisnt him.

"You think we'll have a break for now before we go on our next mission?" Kara asked.

"Hopefully. I want to take you to see my mother. But who knows. Your father doing alright with his foot?" Jean asked.

"He's out of fighting for awhile from what I heard Hange tellign Erwin. He's not going to be happy about it. Plus he needs a new squad since Eren and I are the only ones still left." Kara said. Jean pressed a kiss to her temple.

"You have to tell him eventually." Jean said. Kara sighed.

"I'm afraid he's gonna beat you to a bloody pulp when he finds out." Kara said. Jean couldn't help but chuckle.

"Your father doesn't scare me." Jean said. Kara raised an eyebrow at him. "Okay maybe a little." Kara pushed Jean over and he laughed. "Just tell him soon."

"I will. I promise." Kara said.

Back at Headquarters. Jean and Kara entered with their hands interlocked. Jean walked her to her room. Jean and Kara came to a stop by the door.

"Thank you for taking me out." Kara said. Jean pushed hair out of her face.

"Your welcome. We'll do it again but maybe out to one of the diners." Jean said. Kara smiled.

"I like that." Kara said. Jean pulled her to him and she wrapped her arms around Jean. Jean captured her lips with his and they kissed. A door opened behind them and Kara and Jean pull apart to see Levi standing behind them. Jean and Kara's checks turn red. Levi kept a staright face.

"Father." Kara said.

"Captain." Jean said. Levi looked between the two. He wasn't surprised to find them kissing out in the hallway. Kara looked flustered while Jean looked a bit terrified.

"So. This is how you tell your father that you have a boyfriend?" Levi said. Kara looked down. "I already suspected after the fight with the Female Titan. Just don't let it effect your military duties."

"Yes sir." Jean and Kara said, together.

"But Jean." Levi said. Jean gulped. "You hurt her or lay a hand on her and you won't be dealing with the MPs. I'll feed you to the Titans."

"I don't plan to, Captain." Jean said. Levi walked away. Kara threw her arms around Jean's neck and slammed her lips against his. Jean wrapped his arms around her and pulled her against him. They kissed, but their moment was interupted.

"Titans have breached Wall Rose." A soldier shouted. Jean and Kara pulled apart. "Titans have Breached Wall Rose." Jean and Kara share worried looks.

"What the hell?" Jean asked.

"That's not good." Kara said. Jean pressed a kiss to her check and he ran to his room while Kara ran into her room to change.

'Titans breached Wall Rose? All hell is gonna break loose.' Kara thought as she closed her door.

AN: Kind of a filler chapter, but now Levi knows. He just wants his daughter happy. Till next time.
