Tensed while my Captain growled," This is turning to the worse possible grounds to be in this situation. Usagi you alright? How is your injury?"

I had gotten a slash from one of the roman soldiers who had gotten lucky," I will be alright."

An explosion rocked the ground as my eyes widened seeing my older brother figure Dai standing on a rock that had just exploded out of the ground, he had a wide smirk on his face," Hey."

One of my comrades breathed a sigh of relief," Dai Tsuchikage, The Dragon Of the Earth."

Dai nodded," You guys alright?"

He noticed my injury as he growled," What happened to the Roman scum that hurt my little sister?"

My captain responded," Usagi killed him. She reacted a bit to late due to exhaustion. I don't mean to be rude Dai but what happened to Iwagakure?"

Dai responded," It is destroyed. The roman army is fairly well organized, I know that Kirigakure, Sunagakure, and Kumogakure have all fallen, concern flooded through me as he glanced at me," Miyuki, Mai, and Tatsu are all fine. They were captured and brought to the enemy base camp."

Sighing in relief as Ayame, the other Chunin in the group gapped," How did Miyuki the Blood Goddess, Mai the Lightning Priestess, and Tatsu the Wind Walker, all S ranked shinobi get captured?!"

Dai responded," I am not sure. I came here sensing Usagi's chakra signature. Fact is I don't think Konohagakure is going to last much longer."

A rough voice called out from my right side," It has already fallen."

Getting to my feet I got in a ready position while the roman, in complete armor, his sword at his hip, his armor was decorated in medals, growling I activated my sharingan as he looked at me," So you are the so called Kage's daughter. Usagi was it?"

"What of it? What did you do to my-"

Dai appeared in front of the roman soldier a kunai aiming for his throat while the roman barely avoided the blow while Dai yelled," Get out of here!"

The roman soldier barked," Don't even think of moving! I have a message for you Usagi Uchiha! Unless you don't want to know the last message of your father before I ended his life!"

Narrowing my gaze I found it hard to believe that he was able to fight my father unscathed. He kicked Dai backwards as he grunted landing on his feet, he signaled to me while I held up my hand," Dai enough, I am curious what he has to say."

The Roman instead tossed a scroll towards me, the edges covered in blood, while I opened the scroll with trembling hands and read what the message it held:

Usagi, my beautiful daughter, if this message is in your hands I failed to do a number of things and I am dead. The first is protect our village and home. The second is protect our family, chances are we are all dead. I want you to give the scroll sealed inside to your teammates. The final thing is not telling you about your mother, your mother is the roman primordial goddess of night. One of the most dangerous goddess in their parthenon. I am sure you have concluded that your powers are many times stronger at night especially your genjutsus and kenjutsu. You gain power when night arrives which is why I allowed you on so many night missions. I love you dearly Usagi I pray that you continue to fight and live for our family. When the time comes I want you to settle down with a family, even if you are a slave, or even a freed one however long that takes. Do not fall to the clans Curse of Hatred. Again I love you Usagi and when you pass on hopefully not until you are old, I will be sure to greet you with open arms. Before I forget, you were promoted to Jounin just after this last mission I sent you on was announced congratulations! I'm sorry we aren't there to celebrate with you.

Stunned I feel to my knees when a small fuinjutsu matrix; a storage seal, rested at the bottom of the paper, with a gently push of chakra I unsealed another scroll inside and noticed it was addressed to my Taicho.

I whispered," Ichijo-taicho, here."

Throwing him the scroll he immediately opened it his eyes widened in shock as he breathed out," So the Roman wasn't lying. Our home has fallen, several things are addressed to our squadron. We are to enact at our own discretion to follow Code Three-One-Seven. If you don't wish to follow this code you may surrender. We also have another thing, Usagi Uchiha, you are now a Jounin due to both your rating in the Bingo book being elevated to a high A ranked kunoichi, the clan head of the Uchiha Clan, and your mission record."

Nodding my head in a mute tone as Ayame looked at me shocked as she stated coldly, to the roman soldier," Fuck you," who didn't even flinch at the sharp glare and swearing.

Ichijo glanced at the other members of the team," I am committing Code Three-one-seven. Anyone who wishes to join follow me."

Ayame, Cho, and Izumi the other members of our squad looked at him and nodded," We will all go."

Just like that the remaining members of my squad vanished while Dai stood beside me as he growled," Get out of here Usagi I will hold him back."

I stood up," Dai enough, please I don't want to watch you die," looking at the roman solider," I want to know if Miyuki, Mai, and Tatsu are alright."
