For this story, i have to change a few things

1. in this story, the bombing of Himmel Street happened in july 1944.

2. at the time of bombing, Rudy is 14 years and 2 months old and Liesel is 13 years and 8 months old.

with this in mind, lets begin with the story.

Liesel wakes up in ruins of her home. She is very confused and scared. She can't move. She feels strong pain all over her body. Liesel starts screaming for help from top of her lungs. „Someone is there," said unknown voice.

Liesel can feel the weight of ruins on her body being lowered and lowered as the voices dig and dig to get to her. After some time she can finally stand up and look around. All she can see is chaos, dead people and ruins of street that once were her home. Suddenly she sees two bodies on the ground in front of her - Hans and Rosa. Liesel runs up to them. „Papa, Mama?" says Liesel with tears in her eyes. Liesel talks to them, shakes with their bodies but there is nothing she can do to wake them up. They are just another victims of the war. Liesel stands up and looks around once again. A car with bodies loaded in the back stops next to her. She looks at it. One of the bodies caughts her attention. The person is very familiar to her. Those blue eyes, lemon hair - Rudy. „Rudy?" asks Liesel as she is walking towards the car. „Liesel?" whispers Rudy. „I am here, Rudy, I am with you," says Liesel. Rudy starts whispering: „Liesel, I have to tell you something," but before he can finish the sentence, Rudy closes his eyes and his head shifts of Liesel. „Rudy?" yells Liesel several times as the car starts driving away. Liesel tries to run after it but she is wounded and she doesn't have any chance. Liesel, devastated by the cruel reality, falls to the ground. It's those moments people realise they love something when they lose it.
