I have to say, I had so much fun with this one! I'm sorry this is so behind. I hope you like the story! Also, I plan on writing one long story for the month of Decmeber. I'm not sure what fandom I should write it in, so let me know if you have any thoughts. I have a google form link on my tumblr if you want to respond that way! Otherwise let me know in a review!

Bethany looked at the collection of pillows and other clothes she had strewn across her bed. Her Halloween costume would only be understood by a few people, three to be exact, but either way, it was a brilliant idea.
The captain of the football team had invited the whole school to a costume party at his house on Halloween night, so of course Bethany was going to be attending. But, rather than do a risque costume like in previous years, she had suggested to Fridge, Spencer, and Martha that they go as their Jumanji characters. Maybe they wouldn't win the costume contest, but they could have fun.
All three of them had jumped on the idea. Fridge had been the one to heckle the idea the most, but even he was excited for it. Martha had been a little unsure about wearing a crop top like she had in the game, but Bethany was quickly able to convince her she would look great.
They had to go online to find the exact clothing they would need. The cargo pants, shirts, and Fridge's backpack were easy enough to find with only a little bit of searching, though. The next thing was shoes, and they were able to find shoes or boots, as the case may be, at the local thrift store.
It was now the night of the party, and Bethany had invited Spencer, Martha, and Fridge over to her house to get ready. It made the most sense, seeing as all the costume pieces were at her place anyway.
"Are you ready, Martha?" Bethany called through the door to her bathroom.
There was the sound of things getting moved around on the counter, then Martha exited the bathroom to show off her costume.
"What do you think?" she asked, spinning slowly so Bethany could see the entire outfit.
"I think it looks amazing!" Bethany responded.
They had done an amazing job finding the right clothes. The reddish maroon halter top wasn't the exact style of the one Martha had worn in the game, but it was so close, Bethany was sure the boys wouldn't even notice the difference. The shorts were easy to find with a simple search on Amazon. The boots Martha planned on wearing had been found at the thrift store, along with the other shoes for the group.
"Are you ready for me to do your makeup?"
Martha didn't get a chance to respond before there was a knock at the door and Bethany ran downstairs to let Spencer and Fridge in. After they all greeted each other, they gathered in her room, sorting out the rest of the costume pieces.
Martha stayed out of the way, seeing as she was already in her costume. Fridge threw his stuff in a pile on the end of Bethany's bed, and Spencer chose to hold all his items in his arms. That left just the shoes on the floor and Bethany's costume in the middle of her bed.
"OK, Spencer," she said. "There is a bathroom right outside my room, you can change there. Fridge, there is another bathroom downstairs by the front door. You can change there."
"Where are you changing?" Fridge asked. When he got odd looks from the others, he defended himself. "I don't want to barge in on her naked, wherever she chooses to change."
There were nods of agreement, and Bethany answered him. "I'm going to change in here, if the door is closed when you get back, don't open it."
He nodded and followed Spencer from the room. Once they were out of her room, Bethany shut the door.
Turning to Martha, she added. "I think I'm going to need help getting all the pillows inside the shirt."
"Why are you shoving pillows in your shirt?"
"Professor Oberon is a lot… thicker than I am."
"Oh."
With that discussion over, Bethany was quick to get dressed. Once she had the shirt and shorts on, she told Martha the door could be opened.
After doing that, Martha returned to Bethany to help her get the pillows into her shirt. By the time they were done with that, Spencer had returned, carrying the clothes he had been wearing previously.
"You two look great." he said, looking at their costumes. It was odd seeing Spencer in his own body, without hair. They had found a bald cap for him to use, and though he had tried half-heartedly to avoid it, he accepted it and resigned himself to wearing it.
Then Fridge walked in behind Spencer. Bethany had to admit he looked ridiculous wearing Finbar's outfit. The hardest thing to get for Fridge's costume was the vest with his name embroidered. Luckily, Martha's mother had taught her how to embroider. And, while it wasn't quite perfect, it was good enough.
"Are we ready?" he asked.
"Not quite," Bethany responded, picking up a tub of black face paint from a long lost vampire kit. "We still need to paint on our life bars. And I also need to find my hat."
"I think I saw it when we came in," Fridge commented. "Over by the door."
Bethany nodded. "That makes sense. I'll grab it on our way out the door. Who wants to go first for the paint?"
Martha raised her hand. "I'll go first, I guess."
Bethany had her sit on the end of her bed and stick her arm out straight in front of her. With three careful strokes of a wide paint brush, three lines were painted thick and clear on Martha's arm. Now her costume was complete.
Once she was painted, Martha moved carefully to let Fridge take her place. Three more thick lines of paint marked Fridge's arm. With that he was done.
Then Spencer swapped places with Fridge. Bethany drew three more lines, completing Spencer's costume.
"OK, I just need to give myself the life lines, then we're all ready to go " She said as Spencer moved from the bed.
After she painted the three lines on her own arm, she smiled. "I think we're ready to go!"
Together the four walked out of her house and towards the party.
