A lukewarm breeze has ruffled the brim of her hat and caressed her cheek. Feeling the hard ground through her bag while looking up the foggy hole, Kaban was reminiscing of that exchenge. She felt it that time as well. Finding herself running away for an unexplainable reason, a girl who took her for a playmate has swiftly caught and brought her down to the hard ground.
That girl's amused smile at that moment has burned itself into her memory. Her smile shining just like the Savannah's radiant Sun. Right. What completely separates that time… and now, is…
*Heavy breathing* *Growl*
That girl's… Serval's expression as she was on top of Kaban, pinning her to the ground. Gazing at Serval as she showed her bare canines and let out a growl from the depths of her throat, Kaban was pondering about that kind of stuff.
"Serval-chan…"
Calling out her name, the distinct big ears have twitched. The wild light glowing from her eyes dimmed. Where claws have dug into the pinned arms blood was flowing.
"...How has it become like this?" Suppressing the feeling of pain, Kaban spoke to the little Serval.
Everything began from the defeat of the Black Cellien.
