Hello, This is a one shot for Detective conan but the pairings are conan x ayumi and mitsuhiko x ai. There will be a little conan x ai and Mitsuhiko x Ayumi at the beginning, don't say I warned you.

"YOU'RE WHAT!" Shout out the voice of a boy to the girl next to him. "I said I'm going to answer yes to the next person who confesses to me." The girl said.

The girl had short brown hair, having some hair points sticking out on the side of her face to the side, her eyes are aquamarine. She is the smallest in the group, her name is Ayumi yoshida.

She was sitting next to her friend Mitsuhiko tsuburaya. They were sitting on a bench by their school outside talking. Ayumi called him out for lunch and started discussing her plan. They are both wearing teitan high school uniforms and are sixteen.

"But why?" Mitsuhiko asked. Mitsuhiko is a boy with brown hair and onyx eyes, still the second tallest in their group. Ayumi looked down then up at him. She then said "You know why." Then he understood and sighed as he looked up at the sky.

Boy did he understand!, he knew what this was about. There had been rumors about two people that had gotten together. Their names are conan edogawa (Kudo actually but he is still using his alias. He is the younger brother of Shinichi kudo and is his own person.) and ai haibara. Now that the danger of anything big like the black organization was gone, they were allowed to breathe and do things more fun, like date.

Mitsuhiko looked back down at ayumi to her, looking at him with a sad smile as she understood his pain. For as long ayumi knew conan, she was in love with him. Just like mitsuhiko was to haibara since that bear murder. Even if the rumors weren't there they could still see the affection for each other.

He smiled a sad smile back and looked back up and said "So what do we do now?". "Well I'm still going along with my plan. Maybe you could do it too." Ayumi replied. Mitsuhiko shot his head to look back down at her asking "huh?".

Ayumi laughed and said, "Oh come on Mitsuhiko, surely there can't be any girls not coming up and confessing their crush or love to you?"

Mitsuhiko blushed and scratched his head in response. Ever since he had his growth spurt and was the ace of teitan baseball group in middle school, and in high school too, his popularity skyrocketed. (Not close to Conan, but close.) So yeah he did have some girls coming up to confess to him.

"But will it work?" he asked. "Who knows?" She replied as ayumi looked out at the field smiling, remembering all the time of how she was in love with that one boy and it didn't work out. Mitsuhiko looked at her then sighed then said "Alright I'll do it."

Ayumi looked at him, confused. "I'll do the plan but on one condition." He says holding his finger. Ayumi nodded, listening tko the condition. "You and I will go on a practice date to get used to it… and also cancel any inappropriate places for you.". Mitsuhiko said smiling at the last part while Ayumi pouted.

"You make it seem like I let that happen." Ayumi says as they were cleaning up to go back in for the bell rang. "I know you won't, but I don't know about the boy, cause I have a feeling someone is going to come up there with a baseball bat." Ayumi laughed, replying, "I wouldn't be surprised if everybody else didn't come as well." Mitsuhiko laughed too, and they walked off not noticing a shadow in the trees watching them the whole time.

Sunday

Mitsuhiko rang the doorbell to ayumi's house. He was wearing a blue jacket over a tan shirt with dark blue jeans. The door opened and out came a little girl. "Mitsuhiko-niichan" said the little girl as she ran to open the fence to hug him.

"Matsuri" said Mitsuhiko as he hugged her while picking her up. Matsuri yoshida, little sister to ayumi by ten years, so she was six years old. She was wearing a little dark blue dress over a white sleeve shirt, she looks like her big sister except her hair is in pigtails.

VWhat are you doing here?" Matsuri replied. "I am spending the day with your sister and what are you doing?" "I'm going shopping with mommy!" "Oh may sure to behave." mitsuhiko said "I will!" matsuri replied "She better or she'll be even more trouble later." A voice said in front of them.

Matsuri jump in surprise while mitsuhiko look up to see ayumi and her mother. Ayumi's and Matsuri's mother frowning at matsuri. Ayumi was giggling behind her hand and mitsuhiko looked down at matsuri who smile innocent innocently at him. Mitsuhiko raised an eyebrow and gently set matsuri down ayumi and her mother came out of the gate.

"Hello mrs yoshida" mitsuhiko said to her as he stood up. "Hello mitsuhiko, how are you doing." "I doing good, how about you" "I doing good, I hope it will be like that for the whole day." as she looks down matsuri who playing with ayumi before they leave. She smiled at that seeing they have a good relationship with each other.

Mitsuhiko saw the smile and smiled a gentle smile. Ayumi and matsuri's mother then looked at mitsuhiko and said take care of ayumi. Mitsuhiko nodded and I'll make sure she's taken care of. Ayumi came with matsuri, as matsuri grabbed their mother's hand.

"Take care now" she said to ayumi and mitsuhiko, "bye nee-san and mitsuhiko nii-san." Matsuri says to ayumi and mitsuhiko. "Later kaa-san and imuto" Ayumi said, her and mitsuhiko wave at them.

Mitsuhiko then turned to her saying "Shall we head out." Ayumi nodded and they started walking, "by the way nice outfit." mitsuhiko said to ayumi. Ayumi then looked down at her outfit.

Ayumi wore a black and neon blue celestial sun moon print color block top with dual straps top and a jean skirt with black and white shoes. "Thanks, you too." Ayumi said as they go to their first destination, anywhere.

They went around looking at places seeing whatever caught their eyes. They went to the arcade, and to the park. They were coming to a bridge where they were talking about all the places and thought those places would be nice set up areas for dates.

"Which one would you choose mitsuhiko?" Ayumi asked. "Probably the park especially if it's sakura season." Mitsuhiko replied. "Ooh that would be perfect for you, maybe the arcade for me to show them that all girls don't want movies." Ayumi says.

Mitsuhiko nodded "As long as it ain't a hotel." He says with a teasing smile taking off. "I already said I wouldn't let that happen." she says loudly as she chases after him. They run around as they go to their next place laughing as ayumi chases mitsuhiko, not noticing certain people watching them.

They then stopped as they catched their breath from all the running. They were still smiling from it. All of a sudden a loud growl came and scared them. They looked at ayumi's stomach to see it growling. Ayumi blushed at this while mitsuhiko was holding a laugh when a growl came from his own stomach. Ayumi then smiled a smug smile at him and mitsuhiko blushed.

Mitsuhiko coughed and said "Why don't we find something to eat?" Ayumi then smiled an agreement smile and nodded as they walked to a restaurant. The restaurant had nice decorations with seats at the counter. With leather seats that give off this vintage style in the back for groups or couples. Cotton seats by the window as they look outside seeing what goes by. Music was playing in the background. (I was thinking jasmine, i know Chinese but it was catchy.)

Mitsuhiko and ayumi chose the seats by the window. They ordered their food and drinks and waited by looking outside, it was a pretty picture. "Hey what was your mom talking about?" Mitsuhiko asked.

Ayumi then looked at him and started giggling as she explained how matsuri knocked over a lamp by playing around when she was supposed to be in bed. Mitsuhiko started chuckling at that as they then got their food and drinks and started what was going on in each other's house.

You know this fun as they finish their foods and drinks with happy and content smiles. " "You know this wasn't bad," Ayumi says. Mitsuhiko nodded, "yeah it was." "Maybe we could start doing this instead of doing dates." Ayumi suggested. Mitsuhiko agreed and said, "If we do get dates we'll do double dates if we feel uncomfortable." Ayumi nodded and said, "Yeah that's a great idea."

"What is a great idea?" A voice asked behind mitsuhiko asked. Ayumi and mitsuhiko jumped in surprise as they looked at the voice. There stood a boy with dark brown hair which mostly hangs downwards with also a few strands that stick up at the front and back of his head with glasses covering his sapphire eyes. He was wearing a black plaid shirt with a white dhirt and blue jeans. And a girl with an average height and has pale skin, blue eyes, and reddish hair styled in a perm. She was a white maxi skirt with a lilac shirt and a purple jacket.

These people were edogawa (Kudo) conan and haibara ai. They were together and looked at them, suspicious. Mitsuhiko snapped out of his surprise and said," A get together, we should start doing some get together again." "But we're together almost everyday." said Ai. "Not really" ayumi thinks, but then helped mitsuhiko saying, "With everyone like when we're younger."

Conan and ai looked at each other before nodding. All of a sudden a scream was heard and they all turned to the suspect. A man had his hands on his throat, trying to breathe. But his body gave up on him and he collapsed. Conan and Haibara ran up to the man to check him out. Mitsuhiko ran to block the door so nobody could go out. While Ayumi got her phone to call the police and ambulance.

They found out that the victim was izumi Ken, a thirty-four year old man with brown hair and gray eyes. He was on a date with his wife, izumi nami. She had brown hair and eyes that looked gentle. She was crying over the fact her husband was dead. While they were waiting for the main dish, they ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows. The woman drank hers all at once, while the man only drank while it was cold.

"So what do you got?" mitsuhiko asked. "I know the wife did it but I don't know how." conan answeredThey all gathered at the door with mitsuhiko, so no one would come in or out while they're talking. "Well we got a while before the police come." ayumi said.

"Hmm…" conan's eyes were closed was thinking hard on this. Haibara came up to them, "I just looked at all of them, they all are poisoned." Haibara said. "What! but how?, she would be dead too." Mitsuhiko and ayumi said. "Man, this is getting confusing." Conan says as he holds his head.

Ai looked at him with a smirk saying, "Giving up?" Conan pulled his hand down, eyes excited at this "Not a chance." Ayumi and mitsuhiko looked at each other knowing they would do that but couldn't help but feel a pang in their heart. "What if she had a companion?" "Huh?" "What if someone helped her out." Ai said to conan as they start a conversation.

Ayumi started looking out the door at the maple leaves and mitsuhiko looked at the evidence. Mitsuhiko were staring at it so hard that it just pop in his head. "It's weird Mitsuhiko said as they turn to each to him. "What's weird?" Ayumi asked him.

"The drinks, I had the same drink as them." "You did?" conan asked. "Yeah because it was cold, so I was warming up." Mitsuhiko said. "If you want to warm up, you drink or eat something warm, but the man, his wasn't." Mitsuhiko says.

It struck conan's mind after he said that "Now I get it." As a smirk came on his face. "Oh you got it, detective." Ai asked. "Yeah, but I'm going to need your help." Conan says as they get closer to him to hear the plan.

After a while the police came talking about what happened. The wife was interrogated when a scream came out. "Mitsuhiko!" Ayumi shouts as she grabs him. "Hey what happened?" the police asked as they rushed to him. Mitsuhiko's face had blue lines under his eyelids and his fingertips were blue.

"He was poisoned! Just like the man since he had the same drink as him." Ayumi says as she cries for her friend. "What! How can that be?" Nami thinks as she looked at one of the chef. As she looked back at one of the chefs who was widened at that. "Why are you looking at that chef? Mrs Izumi?" Conan voiced behind her. She turned to see conan looking at her with a mischievous smile.

Nami was scared then she tried to act. She smiled and said "well…" "Oh and don't bother trying to hide, I had a few police officers watch you and the chefs to see what would happen." Her eyes widened at that "Also i was watching you and my glasses have a recording camera in my lens so it is watching you do it every second." Conan says to her as she sinks to the floor in defeat.

"Why did you do it?" Ai asked. "Me, hiroto and ken, We were friends, all three of us were in this group of friends." "When we were younger I was in love with hiroto but I thought that hiroto was in love with someone else so I decided to date my friend who liked me." "We were happy but I couldn't stop thinking hiroto." "We met again and I found out that hiroto always loved me."

"I finally realized that I was always in love with hiroto and not ken, unfortunately for me ken found out too." "But I couldn't so I managed to escape and make a plan with hiroto." "We tried everything to make him see but it didn't work, he locked me away to make sure I would stay by his side."

"This has been the first time that I've been out in a while." "The last time I was out hiroto and I was talking about the poison, he saw us and I got locked again." "We had known he would come here to show me off and that's when the plan had gone." "You know if you went to the police it would've been cleared." Conan said.

Nami shook her head saying "That wouldn't work, he's too good of an actor, but I guess so am I for letting this happen when I should've just asked hiroto instead of running away." "Because through all of this he was still my friend and as the friend I couldn't help, but feel pain and guilt from all this especially from the look in his eye when he died knowing I will never see him again." Then dropped her head in defeat.

The lady and man were taken away and ayumi and mitsuhiko kept feeling pain and guilt from this. Ayumi was outside when mitsuhiko came out. She looked him and he looked at her. They smiled at each other and mitsuhiko sighed "What a day." Ayumi nodded and looked back out seeing people, cars, and animals go by.

"Ayumi" asked mitsuhiko. Ayumi looked back at him and hummed. "Do you think that was a sign for us?" "I don't know, maybe." "I don't think I could see myself as a psycho." Mitsuhiko said. "And I don't see me killing you." Ayumi said right back. "Or being locked away." She added.

Mitsuhiko laughed at that and ayumi smiled at that. Mitsuhiko smiled and lifted up his hand for a handshake "friends?" Ayumi looked at him with a smile then hugged him. "Friends" she says, squeezing him and mitsuhiko hugged too, squeezing her back.

"All right, everything done… and are you guys all right?" Conan asked as him and ai came out first. Mitsuhiko and ayumi broke the hug, ayumi said "Yeah, just had agreement on something" as she wiped the tears that were trying to leave her eyes. They smiled and walked to them.

"Mitsuhiko, you still that stuff on you." Ai said to him. "Huh, oh i do." as he saw it. Ayumi blinked and smiled "Say ai-chan you happen to have remover wipes right on you right?" "Actually I do." Ai asked, confused. "Great!, you can help mitsuhiko remove it." Ayumi says. "Eh" "Wait who's gonna walk you?" Mitsuhiko asked. Ayumi looked over to conan "Conan could."

Conan blinked at that saying huh. Ayumi smiled and grabbed his hand then pulled him. "Come on conan!" "Oi, wait, hold up." As Ayumi pulled him. "Ha ayumi" Mitsuhiko said. Then look at ai who's looking back at him "So you said you had make up remover wipes.".

Ai nodded as they went to a place for them to sit. "So, what is this about?" Ai asked. As ai started cleaning of mitsuhiko. "What do you mean?" Mitsuhiko replied back.

"Well you went to a place with only you and ayumi, you didn't answer our questions,and you kept flinching when that woman went on with her story, and then we found you hugging after hearing her story with tears." Ai said. Mitsuhiko gaped at hearing her deductions .

"Well we were just trying to get ready for when we have dates." Mitsuhiko said. Ai looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Well if someone is dating in the group, we'll find ways to not disturb them or this is for us to take someone on a date."

Ai looked with a hard stare. "So you did that with ayumi." She asked. "Well if I took someone out on a date, I would need a girl's opinion." Mitsuhiko then looked down and said "What if the date was you?"

Ai stares then smiles "I would've been fine then seeing that she is my best friend but I would've liked walking around to see what we could do instead of having someone else show you it." Mitsuhiko looked at her surprised.

"What do you mean by that, aren't you dating conan?" Mitsuhiko asked. Ai looked at him with a hard stare. "What?" "Well everyone has seen you together more than once, even the teachers thought you were together."

"We're not together." "Then what are you?" Ai finished as mitsuhiko opened his eyes to look at her. She leaned to him saying, "Hopefully dating you" as they kissed each other.

"Ayumi slow down" Conan asked as they came to a stop in a park. "Sorry I just wanted to have ice cream, do you want one?". Ayumi says as she walks to the truck, wanting some strawberry mango ice cream. Conan nods wanting coffee and vanilla ice cream.

Ayumi walks over to get their ice cream and conan looks around. Ayumi then came back with their ice cream. She started licking hers after she gave conan his, who started as well. They then walked to a secluded area licking their ice cream. "So what is this about?" Ayumi hummed as she looked at him.

Ayumi then looked back down, "I just wanted to spend a day with mitsuhiko." Conan looked at her then out. "You were right, everybody would've come with something if that guy tried anything with you." Ayumi's breath hitched at that. "H-h-h-How" "Genta saw you two making plans."

Then he stared at her, wanting the truth. Ayumi looked at him then looked out. Ayumi smiled a sad smile. "You know Conan, when I first met you I was curious. How I would always be saved by you like a prince and just like that I had my first crush." Ayumi says giggling. Conan blushed remembering all those times she kissed him on the cheek and hugged him.

"But when we grew up and kept growing up I would still look at you even though I had seen and been confessed to-are you bragging right now?" Conan interrupts her, asking. He finished his ice cream, wiping his hands with a towel pacet ayumi got from the ice cream, listening.

Ayumi laughed, shaking her head saying, "As if you can say that mr popular." Knowing conan gets confessed nonstop. Conan blushed again at what she said again. It's not like he tries to be popular, he likes to stay hidden, unlike his mom and brother. Well, at least his brother calmed down.

Ayumi then started up again "Anyways, you then fall in love with my best friend." Ayumi says, with her eyes softening up. "I always seen it but when we were in high school I realized that I was being selfish so

seeing you being confessed and in love, I distance myself so you could try to love her, it didn't work." "Somehow I would be finding myself back in love with you."

Conan looked at her when she was explaining. "Then me and mitsuhiko heard about you guys being together, and we weren't listening to the rumors before you say anything. We saw how you guys were when you were together." Ayumi says, stopping him.

"So I decided to finally say yes to the next person who confessed to me. I was encouraging mitsuhiko to do it. To make sure that I was safe, mitsuhiko decided to let us go together to see if we could do this and find places for our dates. We then went to the place for food and was thinking maybe we could do that." Ayumi says standing up, wiping her hands with a towel packet for her after finishing the ice cream.

Conan had his head down hearing all this. Ayumi then stood in front of him looking at him. She calmly smiled at him saying, "Conan…, we'll be okay." Conan still had his head at that. Ayumi stared, then stretched her hand to him.

Conan then grabbed it ayumi happily smiled trying to pull conan up but was pulled down. Ayumi landed one leg standing up and one leg on the bench. Her top part of the body was over conan with one on his leg and her other hand was finger locked together with conan and his other hand around her waist to keep steady.

Ayumi's eyes widened as her eyes were held in shock after that. Conan held firm with affirmative and something else. They stared at each other's eyes until ayumi spoke. "Conan-ku-For the record ayumi, me and ai aren't together." Then his lips connected with hers after that. Ayumi's eyes widened even more before they closed, enjoying the moment.

They separated with ayumi eyes hazed with her mouth open and face flushed. Conan licked his lips at that, tasting the strawberry mango that she had on her lips, and smirked. He then stood them up straight and then walked closer to her saying, "You should ask the people before believing hypotheses and rumors, ayumi." Ayumi flinched at that with a blushed as she recalled what just happened.

Conan then grabbed her hand and they walked off conan still smirking with ayumi still blushing and her other hand to her lip.

The next day

Class bell rang for the end of school. Everyone was putting away their stuff or talking with others. The door opened with ai in front of the door. "Come on, mitsuhiko, we're supposed to go to your practice right now."

Mitsuhiko blushed as he shook his head and his arms waving saying "You don't have to come ai, I'll be fine." Ai then walked over, "Well I want to check on your injuries when you're done and I saw something when you moved your arm and wanted to check it out."

Her hand was on his bicep looking into his eyes telling him to come on, making him blushed even more. "Damn," one of their classmates said while others whistled and laughed. "Conan, you don't have to carry my bag for me." They then snapped their heads to ayumi as conan grabbed her bag laughing. "What's wrong with it, besides I'm your boyfriend now, ain't I supposed to help?. He says, teasley.

Ayumi blushed at that and conan laughed even more before grabbing her hand. They walked out the door along with ai and mitsuhiko.

Their classmates stared before they heard a clearing of a throat. "Class, I guess this is a lesson to not believe in everything and go ask." The teacher said, and the class nodded, stunned.

"Hey guys!" A voice shouted to them. Conan, ayumi, ai, and mitsuhiko looked to their right side to see genta walking to them with his girlfriend walking beside him. "I got six tickets to the amusement park, anybody wanna go?" He said waving the tickets.

His girlfriend, who had black hair and red-violet eyes and was named Leila, giggled. She then said, "He was waiting to ask and couldn't find the right time." Genta blushed, hearing her talk about his problem.

Conan smiled, saying "When's those tickets done?" Genta looked and said, "It says sunday." "Then we'll go on saturday." Conan confirms. Ayumi nodded along with him, agreeing. She turned to the others asking "Anybody busy on that day?".

Mitsuhiko then says "Sure I'll go." Ai nodded as well, saying "We can go after getting the ice cream, ayumi was talking about.". "Ooh ice cream, sounds good." Leila said thinking about it. Genta nodded, clapping his hands together, "Alright it's settled, we'll meet for ice cream then go to the amusement park." His eyes gleamed from it.

"Genta calm down, we still have a few days to go." Mitsuhiko said while everyone else laughed. Conan then looked at ayumi saying, "Looks like it's a triple date." Lifting their clasped hands together to show. Ayumi looked at his eyes and smiled saying, "Yeah, can't wait."
