Naruto and Sasuke are 17 and have already gone through the 4th great war. Neji didn't die and they didn't lose their arms.

Chapter 1

Sasuke pov

"NARUTO!! that idiot how dare he make us wait, I gave him the time" Sakura yelled which was honestly getting annoying.She literally arrived like 10 minutes ago. 'Naruto you better get here'. as if perfectly planned an orange blob was it site and i recognize that blonde hair from anywhere.

'Naruto' .Once he got closer i got a better look at him he looked like a mess, bushy hair and unzipped jacket. 'Geez Naruto, he so disorganized, idiotic, messy, clumsy and the guy i've fallen in love with '.

"Sasuke, Sakura sorry I'm late" "NA-RU-TO, how could you show up late and then just smile like it's nothing. Do you know how long we have been waiting?, you really shouldn't keep people waiting" 'Your one to talk when you came no later than he did', "Sakura I already said I'm sorry didn't i", "(sigh) fine". I have just been standing here watching how this plays out, looks like Naruto managed to calm her down. Although Naruto might look like mess for some reason I actually like him like this. His hair so messy and unkept, his tan skin so beautiful, his jacket unzipped revealing his glorious chest that is still concealed by his fishnet shirt and last but not least his enchanting ocean blue eyes.

I was so lost in a trance and didn't even notice he was staring back at me. I turn my head immediately and could feel my face heating up. 'Damn I can't believe I got caught staring'.

"Oi!, Sasuke you okay you were staring at me for quite awhile" 'How long have i been staring?!!! I've got to come up with a lie, I can't tell him I was checking him out' "Uhm...your..jacket...is unzipped" I mentally facepalmed 'smooth'. "Oh I didn't notice" "Anyway Sakura why did you call for us" I say trying to change the subject. "Oh yeah, i didn't have time to go to you guys one by one cause I'm busy, anyway Lady Tsunade said i should inform you guys that she's giving us, including Team 8, Team 10 and Team Guy, a vacation at some resort as a reward for all our hardwork", "WOW! a vacation, awesome"

Naruto shouted excitedly. "When? and for how long?" i asked "Tomorrow and for 3 weeks" "Tomorrow? why didn't she give us a two day notice?". Sakura shrugged her shoulders "Don't know, it was sudden, any way, i got to go, i'm meeting hinata for a date, later" after she said that she turned on her heels and left.

After a moment I realized I was left alone with Naruto. The thought itself made me blush.

"Guess it's just you and me, you got anything planned?" "Uh-Uhm no, why?" "Cool wanna go out for ramen?" I felt my face immediately heat up 'h-huh is he asking me out on a date? no its just ramen' "S-sure" "Great let's go, I don't have money so your paying" he said walking away. 'That cheap bastard, so that's his game. How did I fall in love with this guy?'. After contemplating my options i decided to go with him.

Naruto pov

'I just asked Sasuke on a date and he said, ...uhm well i technically asked him out'.

"Yeah you asked on a date, that he has to pay for, really" 'Ye-eah i shouldn't have said that'

"Right now I'm sure he thinks your cheap and thinks this is far from a date, but I'm not complaining, watching your sad excuse for a date is entertaining..hehehe". 'Shut up, Kurama, I was just messing with him of course I'm gonna pay and this is a great daye AND I'm going to confess to Sasuke'. "Really, is that so, wow confessing at a ramen shop soo romantic, why was the restroom all booked up HAHAHAHA". 'HEY, WHY YOU -' "You better focus on your 'date', the raven seems uncomfortable".

I cut the mind link and noticed Sasuke had his head down and ...blushing?

"Sooo, ...what do you think about...uhm...ramen?" i mentally facepalmed

"HAHAHA told you this would be entertaining, what do you think about ramen really that's the best you can come up with?"

'Shut up'

"It's good" "Good, it's not just good it is delicious a food made by the gods, a delicious delicacy man should not live without, it is an absolute miracle, a great sensation for your taste buds, so my dear Sasuke you can not just say it's good" I lectured.

"Hn, I just don't eat it much, like once in a while"

"No wonder your so lean, you should eat it more often" "Hn" 'Really Sasuke your not even going to try to keep the conversation going, what's with these short replies?'

"Sooo, you excited about about our vacation?" "Yeah, i guess" "Me too, i mean i get to spend time with you which is not worked related". "S-sp-pend time with me"

The moment i analyzed what i just said i felt a blush creep up on my face. "A-a-and e-everyone else of course" i said stuttering like a fool. Likely the ramen shop was in site and i could save myself more embarassment.

"Oi! old man" i said cheerfully, "Hey Naruto, i see you brought a friend, so what will it be this time" " Three bowls of miso ramen please" "Coming right up". We found ourselves in silence again waiting for the ramen to be prepared. It was as if time had slowed down and then

"NARUTO-SENPAI, NARUTO-SENPAI" two girls came running up to me. "Uhm hey" " We didn't know you'll be here can we eat with you?" they said practically begging, well I can't say no to people who want to eat ramen "Sure" one of them latched on my arm.

"Uhm Naruto I'm going to go home and start packing for the trip, later" "Huh?! but you haven't eaten your ramen" "I lost my appetite"

Then he started speed walking away, i couldn't see what expression he had on his face his bangs were covering it, but i feel i have done something wrong.

Third person pov

Miya ( oc i made up she also has a tailed beast in her. She comes from the Daiki clan and is related to Naruto. She is super strong, gorgeous and smart. She has the title of strongest kunoichi) was walking down the street to Ichiraku Ramen when she ran into Sasuke.

"Sasuke you okay? did something happen?"

"No, I'm fine don't worry, i got to go". He walked past her and continued on. Miya was curious on what happened and was about to go after him when she noticed Naruto with two girls latched on his arms. At that moment she thought 'what an idiot '

"Oi! you two, leave now" she said with a tone and menacing aura that says it is not up for discussion.They immediately left,leaving Naruto with an angry Miya.

"Miya, what was that for?" " Naruto did you come here with Sasuke?" "Yeah but he left for some reason" "Some reason, geez you really are an idiot, Naruto sometimes you need to be more considerate, how could you let those girls just latch on you like that" "Huh?!" "Don't 'huh?' me (sigh) let me put it this way, how would you feel if they were latched on Sasuke's arm?".

After a brief moment Naruto figured out what she meant and he took on a glum look.

"What do I do?" Naruto whined "(sigh)You really are dense. Apologize and maybe confess your feelings.

Naruto gained a pink hue on his face "Huh? f-feelings w-what do you m-mean?" "Naruto your as easy to read as a book" "I was planning on confessing to him". Miya rose a brow with a look that says 'are you kidding me' "You were going to confess to him at a ramen shop, how romantic" she said sarcastically. "Kurama said the same thing is it really that bad anyway then what am going go do". "Naruto we are going to spend 3 weeks at a resort, use that as your opportunity" "Yeah your right, that's a great idea, thanks your the best, here's a coupon for a free ramen,bye".

That being said Naruto left, with a new glimmer of hope.

okay that's the end of chapter 1. what would happen at the resort? will Naruto confess? who knows, me, i know
