Days were passing at it's own speed. These days Abhijeet started spending more time in bureau then others. He used to send Daya home to take care of Acp sir and he used to sit in bureau till late. Acp was recovering at good speed. HE even got a fitness certificate from Ashutosh. Now he was ready to join bureau. It was a day before when Abhijeet and Daya decided to bring Acp to CID bureau. Acp and Daya were very excited while Abhijeet was very anxious. He was working on a case file with full concentration and speed in his cabin and Daya was noticing him from outside. Abhijeet got up in between and went towards the window. He was taking deep breaths and having water side by side. Daya got really worried seeing him like this and came to his cabin. When he opened the cabin door, Abhijeet pretended to be normal. Daya asked –
Abhijeet…sb theek h na?
Abhijeet (pretended) – Han Daya…sb theek h…kyu?
Daya – Nhi…tumhari tbiyat theek h na?
Abhijeet – Han Daya… main bikul theek hun.
Meanwhile Abhijeet's phone rang and Daya left from there excusing him. He wasn't satisfied with his answer but thought to left the matter for now. Later that day Abhijeet made everyone leave early including Daya saying he will come after meeting his khabri. After everyone left he turned off the lights of the bureau hall and came towards his old desk. He stood there and kept his hands on his desk tightly. Suddenly two tear drops fell from his eyes on the desk. He touched the whole desk, his computer, his chair and everything present there like he was touching it for the last time. He looked around the bureau hall with teary eyes like he was looking at this bureau for the last time. He went to the small cabin of the bureau besides interrogation room where he used to work a lot. He touched the walls, the cabinets, desks, computers and lastly he took out his badge and gun held it in his hands and faired his hand on it gently and cried out. He himself didn't know for how long he was there before he moved out from there. He reached home very late that night.
Next day, he reached bureau early and asked Daya to bring Acp sir by 12 PM. Team reached bureau on time and luckily there was no case today so team was just arranging the old files and chilling. Meanwhile Abhijeet made few phonecalls from his cabin only. He did not came out of his cabin since morning. When Rajat came to his cabin to get a file signed, he kept standing facing the window and did not turn. When Rajat asked for his sign, he took the file and signed it from there only and did not even face him. He did not even said a single word. Rajat got worried seeing him like this. He came out worriedly and when Freddy asked he said –
Abhijeet sir ne palat kr bhi nhi dekha ek bar bhi. File bhi bina dekhe sign krke dedi. Unke muh se ek shabad bhi nhi nikla.
Team got worried but before they could discuss it, they saw DCP Chitrole with DIG's car was coming in the bureau parking. Even Abhijeet came out of the cabin a minute later. He saw them coming from the window. He ordered –
Freddy…Forensic lab mein phone krke Dr. Salunkhe aur Dr. Tarika ko yahan bulao.
Freddy nodded and get to work. Before Rajat could ask anything, Abhijeet said – Pankaj conference room ready krwayo.
He too got to his work. Abhijeet was looking dead serious. Meanwhile DIG and DCP Chitrole reached bureau hall and DIG asked – Abhijeet achanak bureau kyu bulaya tumne hme?
Abhijeet – Sir kuch zroori baat krni h mujhe sbse. (looking at team) Team se bhi. Isliye…
Meanwhile pankaj appeared and said – Sir conference room ready krwa diya h.
Abhijeet nodded and the whole team was gathered in the bureau hall including forensic Drs. They all greeted DIG and DCP chitrole and then Abhijeet call Daya –
Kahan phunche tum log?
Daya (tensed tone) – Bs bureau ke piche wali road pr hi h… aa rhe h.
He too was tensed as they will be revealing a big secret to team. Little did he know, he will also get to know some secrets he doesn't know. Abhijeet cut the call and said – Aap sb log please conference room mein chliye…
They all went to Conference room and Abhijeet was roaming in tension in bureau main hall only when he heard the well known footsteps approaching the bureau main hall. Those footsteps were missed by this lively building also since an year. Abhijeet smiled a little seeing Acp Pradyuman coming there wearing suit as always and behind him Daya and Dr. Ashutosh were there with smile on their face and tension in their hearts. Abhijeet asked Dr. Ashutosh to come their so that if anyone gets shock or any medical emergency is required, he is there. His eyes got moist seeing Acp coming. He came towards him and greeted with a smile
– Welcome back sir. Is bureau ne bhi aapka utna hi intezaar kiya h jitna k humne.
Acp smiled and patted his back and asked – sb log h kahan?
Abhijeet said – sb log conference room mein h. Aap rukiye yahin.
He was about to move to conference room when he stopped and came towards Daya and Ashutosh. He held Daya hand and Ashutosh hand in his hands while they were confused with his gesture. He said –
Tum dono ko meri kasam h. Kuch nhi kroge tum dono. Ander jo ho jaye tum dono kuch nhi bologe. Kisi baat pr jhooth bhi nhi bologe.
Acp looked at him immediately and said – Abhijeet
They got a huge shock and before they could react, Abhijeet left from there with a file in his hand and smile on his face. He entered inside the conference room taking a deep breath and before entering he gave a look at them and blinked his eyes in assuring way.
Ashutosh (in tension) – ye ese kyu bol ke gya… kya chl rha h iske dimaag mein.
Daya – pta nhi Ashutosh…
He too got tensed.
Inside the conference room…
Abhijeet stood at front and while looking at everyone before he could start conference room opened and DCP Pathak came there. Seeing him Abhijeet got a huge shock because he did not invited DCP Pathak there. Before he could ask anything, DCP Pathak said – Sorry Abhijeet… ye Mumbai ka traffic bhi na… aadha ghanta waste ho gya mera. Khair chodo btayo kyu bulaya h hum sbko yahan?
Abhijeet nodded and said – maine aaj yahan aap sbko ek bhut badi news dene ke liye bulaya h. Maine aap sbse ek bhut badi baat chupayi h. Ab waqt aagya h sachayi saamne lane ka.
DCP Chitrole – kaisi sachayi?
Abhijeet – ACP PRADYUMAN KE ZINDA HONE KI SACHAYI!
Team got a huge shock. They were unable to react. DIG and DCP Chitrole were also stunned.
Salunkhe (shocked) – KYA! (angry tone) – Abhijeet esa ghatiya mzaak…
Abhijeet (interrupted) – Ye sach h Dr. Salunkhe. ACP Pradyuman is alive. Unhe maine chupa rkha tha.
DIG (tough tone) – Abhijeet… You do realize what are you saying?
Abhijeet (serious tone) – Yes Sir… us mission mein ACP sir ki maut nhi hui thi. Unko gehri chauten aayi thi. Voh buri tareh se zakhmi the. Pichle ek saal se voh come mein the. Maine unhe sbse chupa kr rkha hua tha . Bina kisi ko btaye. Unhe ab hosh aagya h. Voh bilkul theek h iswaqt.
DIG (same tone) – Kahan h voh?
Abhijeet (opening the conference room door and indicating everybody outside) – Voh bahr hi h.
They all moved out in hurry. Team got huge shock seeing ACP Pradyuman with his back towards them. Freddy was the first one to react – SIR!
ACP Pradyuman turned with a serious face. Team got a huge shock seeing him standing fit and fine. Salunkhe was unable to react while DIG and DCP Chitrole were stunned.
DIG (in shock) – ACP Pradyuman… tum sach mein zinda ho!
Hearing this Daya and Dr. Ashutosh got confused because Abhijeet told them DIG knows this. ACP Pradyuman too got shocked. Before they could ask anything, Salunkhe came towards Acp and said with tears in his eyes
– Pradyuman…tum…(he couldn't continue say anything more)
He put his hand on his shoulder to feel that he is not dreaming. Team too started shedding happy tears. Meanwhile DCP Chitrole asked in tough tone –
Abhijeet… itni badi baat tumne HQ se chupayi. Tum jante ho iska kya nateeja ho skta h.
Abhijeet (continued) – Achi tareh se janta hun Sir.
DIG – Abhijeet… kya plan h ye sb tumhara? Kon -2 shamil h is sb mein…mujhe puri detail chahiye… aur sb sach sunna h mujhe.
Ashutosh and Daya looked at each other in confusion and tension. Abhijeet nodded and looked at Daya and Ashutosh and meanwhile everybody gathered there. He started –
Ye sach h k us mission ke daruan ACP sir khayi mein gir gaye the. Main unhe dhondhne khayi mein utra tha. Mere sath ki baki team bache huye officers ko rescue krke hospital bhejne mein lgi thi. Mujhe gehri khayi mein Acp sir behosh mile the. Unki haalat bhut khraab thi Maine Dr. Ashutosh ko vhi bulaya. Initial checkup se hme pta chla k unki haalat theek nhi thi…
Flashback:
Abhijeet was sitting with Acp's head in his lap while Ashutosh was doing his check up. After initial check up he said –
Abhijeet…bhut km chances h… sar ki nas fat gyi…jiski vajeh se bleeding nhi ruk rhi h. Jldi hospital le jana hoga.
Abhijeet (panic tone) – Toh chlo jldi… main stretcher mangwata hun niche.
Ashutosh (panic tone) – Abhijeet…hum gehri khayi mein khde h…aur ambulances ja chuki h…
Abhijeet – What! (thinking something) Theek h…hum le jayenge sir ko upper tkk… fr dekhte h.
Ashutosh gave initial first aid to Acp and Abhijeet picked him in his hands and they started climbing the rock. After an hour they reached at the top and found everybody left. Abhijeet tried to call local police and ambulance but there was no signal in his mobile. Suddenly they found a cart there. Abhijeet exclaimed – voh hath gaadi se le jaate h sir road tkk…wahan kisi se madad le lenge.
They put Acp on the cart and Abhijeet pushed the cart till road while Ashutosh kept trying calling ambulance or any help they could get but they couldn't get any. Finally they reached the main road and by God's grace they saw an ambulance coming. Abhijeet came on the middle of the road to stop it. The ambulance stopped and Ashutosh talked to the driver –
Dekhiye main ek Dr. hun (showing him his I card) hume jld se jld nearest hospital phunchna h…hmare sath patient h (pointing towards unconscious Acp).
Driver – Aayiye saab…yahan se 2 km door hi ek asaptaal h. main aapko wahan le jata hun.
Ashutosh (hurriedly) – Thankyou…(to Abhijeet) – Abhijeet…jldi kro.
They both put Acp in ambulance and the ambulance drove at fast speed. They reached hospital soon while Abhijeet was continuously trying to make Acp conscious. Pulling Acp out of Ambulance, they dragged the stretcher in the hospital while Ashutosh immediately talked to the on duty Dr. They immediately shifted Acp to OT but he started sinking by the time. Abhijeet and Ashutosh got panicked. Ashutosh in a serious tone –
Abhijeet…he is sinking. Hmare paas time nhi h zyada.
Abhijeet (shouted) – NO! Ashutosh…do something…kuch bhi kro… unhe bchalo please (joining his hands) Kuch kro…please…main unke bina nhi reh skta.
Ashutosh held his hands but didn't say anything. He immidately took Acp to OT with other doctors and put him on ventilator. An hour passed while Abhijeet kept roaming in tension. Ashutosh came out and Abhijeet immediately lept on him with questions –
Ashu…Acp sir theek h na? hosh aaya unhe… main unse mil lun.
Ashutosh held him from shoulders and made him sit on bench held his hands and said in soft tone –
Dekho Abhijeet…meri baat shanti se suno… he is alive pr kb tkk koi nhi keh skta. Unki chot bhut gehri hai. He slipped into deep coma… kb baahr ayenge…ayenge bhi yan hi… I can't say.
Unke dimaag ki jo nas fat gyi thi…use heal hona hoga pehle agr voh heal hui toh unke zinda bachne ke chances h…vrna nhi…
You have to be strong sbke liye. Tumne HQ mein phone kiya?
Abhijeet (in trance) – HQ wale kabhi nhi manenge… Voh log Acp sir ko nhi bchayenge.
Ashutosh (in confusion) – Abhijeet kya keh rhe ho…HQ wale Acp sir ko kyu nhi bchayenge?
Abhijeet (jerked and looked at him) – Tum sir ko dekho… main baat krta hun HQ se.
Abhijeet got up and went from there while Ashutosh went to the Dr. cabin's who helped him treating him. After half an hour, he came back and saw Acp sir from the window of the room only and said – main aapko kuch nhi hone dunga sir… chahe kuch bhi ho jaye.
Meanwhile Ashutosh came back and put his hand on Abhijeet's shoulder who turned and Ashutosh asked – baat hui HQ se…
Abhijeet (lying) – han baat hogyi… tum meri baat suno…lekin yahan baat nhi kr skte.
Ashutosh – Dr. ke cabin mein chlte h.
Abhijeet – chlo.
They went inside the cabin and Abhijeet closed the door. Meri DIG se baat hogyi h… hume Acp sir ko chupa kr city hospital le jana hoga. Kisi ko nhi bta skte h Acp sir zinda h…ye sb confidential rkhna hoga.
Ashutosh (shocked) – WHAT! Toh kya krenge…aur DIG ne esa kyu kaha?
Abhijeet – voh sb confidential matter h… abhi hume ACP sir ko city hospital le jana h…baki officers ke sath nhi rkhna h unko… alag rkhenge. Main sbke saamne ye keh dunga k ACP sir… nhi rhe.
Ashutosh (shocked) – Abhijeet!
Abhijeet – Ashutosh… ye sb krna pdta h hmari job mein.
Ashutosh – Theek h… kya krna h btao.
