"Alright, it's storytime almost, and it's Nebula's turn so she'll pick an awesome book fir Mama Groot to read." Drax told Gamora, Mantis and Rocket making Rocket quiet. It was a few days later after the playing house mistake and he was still angry at Gamora, Mantis and Nebula and Mama Groot had explained to them, they needed to show Rocket they were sorry and they had good ideas like adding extra snacks into his snackpot or letting him pick a game only Nebula knew when she, Drax, and Mantis picked out books for Groot to read, they were stories Rocket was not intrested in yet he paid attention so her idea was picking one of Rocket's favourite books for Groot to read when it was his turn to picj a book.
"We should let Drax know, since last storytime, his pick set Rockie's senses off, but thankfully that book went back to the library." Mantis whispered to them seeing Drax groan seeing the book Groot was reading to them and Rocket light up which made Nebula happy along with Gamora and Mantis but Drax was bored oht of his lil mind but after storytime, Rocket called Nebula over making the blue-skinned girl coming over to him hearing him asking, why she'd chosen one of his favourite books for storytime seeing Drax frown at that.
"Well you were still mad at Gamora, Mantis and me for what we did, and Mommy Groot explained we hadtomdo something to show you we're sorry and we had good ideas like putting extra snacks in your snackpot or lettingyou pick a game when itvwas playtime but recently during storytime, youndidn'tget a turn to pick a book somI figured it was a good idea so I told Mama Groot and he agreed it was a good idea, even if Drax got annoyed." Nebula explained to him seeing him hug her
"Thanks Nebula as it made me feel happy, as I know you guts aren't into the books I wanna listen to." he said.
"Yeah plus that Don'tPush the Buttons book Drax chose freaked you out but it went back to the library." she said.
"I can't believe you used your story turn for Rocket." Drax said annoyedly as they were playing making Gamora sigh.
Nebula just ignored Drax's grumpiness noticing Rocket lookingva lil cute and chunky wondering why not knowing the toddler-raccoon was getting reasy for the colder months and hibernation which Groot knew about so was giving him extra milk and knew he was eating a lot of snacks but would explain to his sibs about that hearing his kids yawning after a bit guessing it was rest-time for them.
"A lil rest will be okay for you guys and you'll feel better after." Groot told them humming a soft lullaby which was relaxing the toddler-Guardians into sleep as the treelike being kissed their heads seeing them out like fireflies knowing they'd feel better after resting plus he'd explain to Drax, Gamora, Mantis and Nebulawhy Rocket was becoming cute and chunky knowing they'd understand.
"Ohhhhhh that's why he's getting cuteand chunky because he's getting ready for Winter, but we'll see him again, right mommy." Mantis said seeing Groot nodding in reply. It was a bit later and the toddler-Guardians had woken from their nap and having snacks but noticing Rocket eating a lot which had made them curious only Nebula knew what was going on, because Rocket had told her but not the others so happy their mommy was telling them.
"Yes in Spring but it'll be alright, plus I've been giving him extra milk, when he comes back every morning after his nightly antics plus he's getting his winter fur." Groot replied seeing Rocket yawning but was crawling to the hollowed out tree he made a secret den of but takihg his blanket and pillow there for hibernation which Nebula understood thinking this was a good idea.
They saw Mantis playing with herPrincess Galacta dolls, Gamora was playing with the action-figures she and Nebula liked playing with making Rocket smile, getting his action-figures too.
