Hey Yo! NerdRyuu here for the 35th chapter of The Last aloud! I can't believe we're here already! The end is approaching very fast!
Last chapter Link showed off his greatest discovery! A unknown particule with unknown potential!
This week I didn't received any questions, but I want to thank all the feedback I received this year, it really means a lot to me.

Blight and Link charged at each other, while Blight jumped with his arms ready to hammer down at Link, the boy slid down, avoiding his attack and rolled back up and ran in Blight's direction, taking advantage of him being turned back.
Link punched Blight in the back, he used all the might he could muster with the 2nd gear. This punch made lose his balance and Blight fell forward, moaning in pain, but he quickly got back up and as he turned around, Link tried to make a surprise attack, jumping to be able to punch Blight's cheek.
The mutant, however, defended, and even in pain from the punch, returned it to Link, who flew away and crashed on a hut.
"2nd gear also isn't enough?" Link muttered shaking his head. "Damnit… He's way tougher than I expected. Hum…"He put his fingers on the chin of his helmet. " In theory, the 1st gear is two and a half times stronger than a normal man and 2nd gear is five times stronger… 3rd gear is ten times… I wonder if it's enough, too little or too much…"
Link got out the hut and walked back close to Blight. "Okay Mister Green." Link spoke. "Let me ask you something, do you know what happens when a unstoppable force collides with a unmovable object?"
Blight said nothing, just stood silent. And Link ran, but, like in a blink of an eye, Link had disappeared.
"What?" He spoke and looked down, Link had moved so fast that Blight didn't noticed. Using his momentum, Link punched Blight in the stomach, this made Blight get all of the air escape his lungs.
Blight stood in shock, with Link still with his fist on his stomach. Blight made some steps back and fell to his knees.
"Nothing Blight. You're not a immovable object." Link concluded his assessment.
"YES!" Cassie shouted excited. "You got so much faster!" Link laughed.
"Oh, no, non, não, nei, nein!" Link spoke shaking his finger. "Although my strength really got doubled with the 3rd gear, my speed didn't got any different, all I did was taking the acceleration part of the equation! The 3rd gear uses the first property of my new molecule! The acceleration time, I go from stationary to full speed instantly!" Said that, Link got hit from behind as Blight back handed him and Link again flew a few feet and fell on the ground. "I really need to stop turning my back to the bad guys…" He muttered as he got up.
Blight looked at him with his one functioning eye. Link stretched his arms up and sighed. "This suit is getting hot…" He muttered. The temperature of the suit was starting to become a problem. He already knew what he would fix on the next model of the armor.
Link looked at Loud, who had regrouped with the others. She had said her name right? Lana.
Link smiled for a moment in his thoughts. He remembered Lana Loud. She was one of the people who helped them escape nine years ago. Her other sister, what was her name… Luna? She had given to the slaves a spare armor identical to the one Lincoln and later Lana was wearing.
After these nine years, only Tower and Link continued to be around, and they had kept the armor. When Link started get interested in technology, he started to temper with the armor. And after years of modifications, the armor he was wearing now was the result.
He… How this world is small…
The fight kept happening while Link was in deep thoughts. He focused in using his instant acceleration to out speed Blight and try to connect a attack.
A few times he got a punch in, but the others weren't as successful, he got wiffed, or blocked and converted.
The 3rd gear matches him in strength and actually surpasses him in speed, but Link's own lack of combat experience was the biggest hindrance on this fight. Maybe Lana was a better match for the armor. At least for these three first gears.
"Okay. If I can't defeat you hand on hand, let's go to my style!" Steam shot out and stopped. And lights started to glow around the armor, around the gauntlets, boots, chest, helmet and even the crotch. They were bright blue, like a neon night light.
Link smiled under his pyramidal shaped visor. "This is my 4th Gear!" Blight didn't reacted, "Let me show you how things are now!"
Again Link used his instant acceleration to make a surprise rush and approach Blight quickly. The boy jumped up to match his height and slapped Blight across the face.
When his hand touched Blight's face, the mutant felt a powerful electrical shock coming from it, running down his entire body and shouted. The mutant flew away hit the ground stunned.
"YES!" Cassie shouted excited. "Take that!"
"That was… Amazing!" Link laughed, opening and closing his hand repeatedly, to dissipate the remaining traces of energy on his palm. "It was way better than I expected!" The boy in the armor looked at his friends. "This is the second property of my molecule! Energy generation!"
Blight got up again and run in Link's direction again, who again used his instant acceleration to get out the way and simply touched Blight's arm, sending another shock on him. And again, Blight flew away stunned.
"You…" Blight tried to get back up but fell again.
"I though in putting a jet pack on the armor, to take advantage of the Infinite energy generation, it I thought that it would be a little impractical in the current state, so I just decided to relieve the load a little bit!" Link explained. "Unfortunately the removal of the jetpack made a blatant flaw in the design of this iteration of the armor! The generator is completely exposed in my ba-" Link interrupted himself, putting his hand on the helmet, over where this mouth would be.
"Link!" Haru shouted with difficulty. "Are you stupid? Don't tell your weak spot in front of the enemy!"
"Sorry! I was so immersed in the explanation that it escaped my mouth! But thinking about it… I don't really care! It's by sharing knowledge that humanity evolved! And besides that… the 4th gear is still very limited, even with the unlimited energy generator!" Link was about to continue to explain when a monstrous groan made them remember that they were still in a fight.
"You little…" Blight got back in his feet. "Insignificant little mortal!" Blight exclaimed.
"Pff…" Link let some air escape from his lips before speaking. "You still believe that you are a god? My friend, you're more delusional than I thought!"
"Silence! I don't want to hear your blasphemy! I'll absorb your energy, rob your technology and become invincible!" Blight gloated.
Link made a long sigh. "Okay, I'll play your game!" Link pointed to Blight. "How can God, be hurt by a mere mortal?"
"Silence!" Blight spoke angrily, walking on Link's direction.
"How can God desire the creation of a mere human to become stronger?" Link continued to challenge. Lana notice that Link's drones had started to move again.
"SILENCE!" Blight repeated louder. The dozens of drones kept flying, and some stopped, turning their eye into the two.
"HOW CAN GOD NOT CARE ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF HIS OWN FOLLOWERS?"
"AHHH!" Blight shouted in complete fury, starting to run on Link's direction. Link did reacted fast enough when the Mutant made a cross up and hit Link on his side, making his fly.
"You pitiful, weak, mortal!" Blight spoke.
"He he he…" Link laughed a little. "Sorry… Its that, I needed to stall for a while…"
"What?" Blight asked confused, before noticing the dozens of drones, floating in place, surrounding them, like a dome.
"I had to wait them to be on position… and…" Link got up on his feet. "To have time to charge this!" Link swing his arms up, and from each drone, beams of blue light shot in the direction of the nearest drones, and these shot other beams and in little time, the drone formed a grid of light beams, creating a energy dome.
Light sparkles started to pop out off nowhere around them, Inside the dome, that fortunately, had left the injured allies out.
"What is this?" Blight spoke, in surprise and confusion.
"This is the 5th gear!" Link spoke with his theatrical voice again. "And inside this 18 meters in diameter dome, the only god here, it's me."
N/A: The 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears are very inspired by Nicola Tesla from Shuumatsu no Walkure, with the God cage and all, but I also wanted to give a different aspect by also introducing the properties of the molecule.
asidre from that, I don't have much to say with this chapter, it was entire in the fight of Link vs Blight, and it also didn't even ended yet, so I can't even comment on the results of the fight.
Next chapter Link will show everyone what the 5th gear of the armor can do!
