Here is now, the third to last chapter of Equestria Girls take on Fort Boyard.
The group arrived to see Rainbow Dash above the fort, on top of the fort, in front of her, is a large tight rope.
" Now, before we start with Rainbow Dashes challenge, we're going to watch how well Twilight will do in the gypsy challenge, this time even more gold is up for grabs", said Antoine.
Twilight stood in front of the table, where the 15 cards lay.
She made her first choice, and it showed a gold tiger, and the gypsy placed 20 gold coins into the bag.
" She can get up to 2,100 gold coins in this challenge", said Antoine.
Twilight then made her second choice, and it showed another gold tiger, and another 40 gold coins were added in the bag, and with her third choice, revealing another gold tiger, and 60 gold coins were added, giving it a total of 120 gold coins.
" She now has more gold than Pinkie", said Antoine.
" I'm going to end it right there as well", said Twilight.
And so, Twilight was giving the bag, but was allowed to continue choosing the cards until she found the black tiger, it was until her 10th attempt when she did.
" Ten attempts, that means if she had ended the challenge after her ninth attempt, she would've earned 900 gold coins, but in the end, she got 120 coins, add that to the 90 coins Pinkie Pie collect, gives you a total of 210 gold coins, out of a possible 5,250", said Antoine.
He then turned back to Rainbow Dash, who was waiting patiently in front of the tightrope.
" You may be courageous Rainbow, and have no fear of heights, however, I wonder how balanced you are, in this challenge, you must walk across the tightrope, and get the cannister, should you run out of time, or should you fall, the cannister will explode", said Antoine.
" At least she has her cord attached, so even if she falls, she won break her bones, or splatter, or get eaten by the tigers", said Pinkie Pie.
" Pinkie", Applejack called out.
" Yes Applejack", said Pinkie Pie.
" Shut up".
Rainbow Dash began walking on the rope, and the time began.
" Okay Rainbow, don't look down", said Pinkie Pie.
" Why do people always say that, I'm not scared of heights", said Rainbow Dash.
" Yeah well you can't balance if your life depended on it", said Applejack.
" Watch me", said Rainbow Dash.
She continued until she was a quarter done.
" Excellent job Rainbow, but don't go too fast, or you'll fall", said Fluttershy.
" And don't go too slow either, or you'll run out of time", said Pinkie Pie.
" I'll go at my own pace thank you", said Rainbow Dash.
" You have a couple of minutes left", said Antoine.
" Please don't remind me", said Rainbow Dash.
After a few more seconds, she was at the halfway mark.
" Okay, halfway there", said Rainbow Dash.
" WOAH, LIVING ON A PRAYER", shouted Pinkie Pie.
" Somehow I knew she was going to do that", said Rainbow Dash.
Rarity then made it to the group.
" You owe me big time Rainbow Dash", Rarity called out, startling Rainbow Dash a bit as she nearly fell off.
" SHH", the others shushed Rarity.
She continued walking across, thankfully, she still hadn't fallen off.
" You're taken a bit long Rainbow", said Applejack.
" You try doing this then, and tell me it's easy", said Rainbow Dash.
" You have a minute left", said Antoine.
" I'm about three quarters done, just got one last quarter to do", said Rainbow Dash.
" You can do it Rainbow", said Fluttershy.
" I'm nearly there, I think I got this", said Rainbow Dash.
She was only a few feet away, however, a loud bang was heard, and black smoke was seen flying out of the canister.
" I'm afraid you're too late Rainbow Dash", said Antoine.
" Damn it, I was so close", said Rainbow Dash.
It was then Twilight arrived, with her bag of coins.
" What did I miss", said Twilight.
" Rarity succeeded in her challenge, while Rainbow Dash didn't", said Pinkie Pie.
" It's alright, there's still three more challenges to take part in, and you already have two clues, there have been a fair share of adventures who solved their password with only three clues", said Antoine.
" Speaking of which, our next ordeal is at the bottom of the fort", said Antoine, leading the group away, while Rainbow Dash, jumped off the tightrope, as the bungee cord began to lower her down safely.
Fouras chuckled as he moved the chess piece, from the number 4, to the number 3.
" If Rainbow Dash couldn't do it, how can the remaining player get theirs, especially Applejack, who couldn't even get a key", said Fouras.
The group arrived at the bottom of the fort, where they see what looked like a well
" The combination for the next clue is inside the hole, one of you will have to go in, Applejack, it is you", said Antoine.
" Oh boy", said Applejack.
" The combination is split in two halves, and it's a word combination, a four letter word, and another thing, those halves are underneath two bellies", said Antoine.
" Bellies of what", said Applejack.
" Snakes", said Antoine.
" I should've known you'd say that", said Applejack.
" You have three minutes, starting once you're fully in", said Antoine.
Applejack climbed into the well, and the time began, the room was filled with snakes.
She looked through the first corner, carefully picking up the snakes, as she looked for letters.
After not being able to find anything, she checked another corner.
" If you search through a latch, you should probably find something", said Antoine.
She opened one of the latches, revealing a pile of snakes.
As soon as she found out none of them had part of the code, she moved on to the next latch.
" You have under 2 minutes left", said Antoine.
Rainbow Dash then arrived.
" Hey, what did I miss", said Rainbow Dash.
" Applejack's searching around through snakes", said Twilight.
" Oh boy", said Rainbow Dash.
Eventually, Applejack found something under one of the snakes.
" First two letters R, A", said Applejack.
" Can you think of any four letter words starting with RA", said Antoine.
" Rack, Race, Rage, Rate", said Pinkie Pie.
Applejack then searched for the remaining half.
" One minute left", said Antoine.
" There's also Rail, Rake, Race", said Pinkie Pie.
" You already said Race", said Sunset.
" Okay, Raff, as in Riff Raff, or Raff Base", said Pinkie Pie.
" Maybe", said Twilight.
After a bit of searching, Applejack found the second half.
" Last two letters, T, E", said Applejack.
" RATE", said Twilight.
Rainbow Dash then dialed the combination and grabbed the cannister in time.
" Well done Applejack, that is our third clue, how does that make you feel", said Antoine, after Applejack climbed out of the snake pit.
" Great, because I finally was successful, after failing to obtain the keys", said Applejack.
Snips and Snails then arrived, Snips was wearing a snake charmers outfit, holding a flute, while Snails was holding a basket.
Snails then put the basket down, and lifted the lid, and while backing away, Snips began playing on the flute, while a snake began rising from the basket.
The girls rolled their eyes at this, as Applejack yanked the snake from the basket, revealing it to be a fake, while it's also revealed that Snails was holding onto a wire that lifted the fake snake up.
" Nice try you two, you get points for effort", said Applejack.
" Yeah, and you were also great with the music Snips, you've attracted some fans", said Rainbow Dash.
" What fans", said Snips, he turned to see a pair of real life snakes close to him, he shrieked in terror as he and Snails ran off.
The girls laughed as they watched the pair fleeing in terror.
" Those snakes aren't even venomous", said Rainbow Dash, before turning to Antoine, " Are they".
" They are Rainbow Dash, but they usually attack when they feel threatened", said Antoine.
Fouras then disappointedly moved his chest piece, from the number 3, to the number 2.
" So now Applejack becomes successful, only two challenges left, and the team have three clues, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are the only two who haven't taken part in an ordeal yet, I have great plans for Fluttershy's ordeal", said Fouras.
The group arrived at the next destination, at what looks like a funhouse, with a small train.
" This challenge is called Ghost Train, and Fluttershy", said Antoine.
" Ye... Yeah", said Fluttershy.
" The final challenge is waiting for you", said Antoine.
" Okay, so I don't have to do this one", said Fluttershy.
Once Fluttershy left, Antoine turned to the remaining players.
" Pinkie Pie, this challenge is for you", said Antoine.
" What you must do, is climb onto the train, and go on various journeys, what you must also do is find both halves of a combination, which can open that case, and release the canister", said Antoine.
Pinkie Pie then climbed onto the mini train, and it started moving.
" Here I go, choo choo", said Pinkie Pie, as the train went into the funhouse.
It was dark, and spooky, almost spookier than the dollhouse Sunset went into, an ambiance of scary circus music was playing in the background.
After some time, and a bit of a fright, Pinkie Pie moved back to the group, and the train was filled with scorpions.
After a bit of searching around, Pinkie Pie found a slip of paper on one of the scorpions, and it contained the first half of the code.
Pinkie Pie then moved again into the funhouse, and it was really scary, even for her standards.
Little did she know, there was a scary figure approaching her, growling as it grabbed her arms, causing her to shriek.
After making it out, more scorpions were found, and after picking one up, she found another slip of paper containing the second half.
Comparing both halves, Twilight dialed the combination and grabbed the canister.
" Well done Pinkie Pie, that's four clue words collected now", said Antoine.
" Thanks, can I go n... Oh no here I go again", said Pinkie Pie as the train took her back into the funhouse.
" Let's get her out of there, we are wasting time, Fluttershy should be just about ready with her ordeal", said Antoine.
Fouras then moved the chest piece from the number 2, to the number 1.
" One last ordeal, four clue words collected, and it's now up to Fluttershy, and with the ordeal I set up for her, she'll never get the final clue", said Fouras.
The group arrived at the top of the fortress, near the edge, where Fluttershy was standing onto a platform connected to a bungee cord.
" I think I'd rather do the funhouse challenge, or even the snake challenge, or the scorpions and spiders", said Fluttershy.
" Trust me Fluttershy, you don't want to do the Funhouse challenge", Twilight.
" And that doll house challenge is just as bad, that creepy music box is still ringing in my ears", said Sunset.
" Well anything's better than this, honestly I should've done the riddle", said Fluttershy.
" The riddle was difficult, and I should know, I failed to solve it, From the beginning of Eternity, to the end of Time and Space, to the beginning of Every End, and the end of Every Place", said Twilight, repeating the riddle.
" The letter E", said Fluttershy.
" Yeah I would've guessed the letter E, that had a similar kind of riddle in one of those cereal box puzzles", said Applejack.
Twilight just crossed her arms, grumbling to herself.
" It's too late for that now, besides, this challenge is assigned for you, the next combination is connected to the cord, but before you can get it, you must jump off the platform", said Antoine.
" But that's a 50 foot drop into the ocean, that's nearly 17 yards", said Fluttershy.
" Just so you know, the team have four clues", said Antoine.
" That's the majority of seven, so that means I don't have to do this challenge", said Fluttershy.
" Is it worth taking the risk, getting a fifth clue word could be extra help", said Antoine.
Fluttershy stood at the edge of the platform.
" I can't believe this is happening", said Fluttershy to herself, " But do we really need that last clue word, we have enough already".
" Take your time Fluttershy, no rush", said Twilight.
" Yeah, go when your ready", said Sunset.
" Don't take too long though, if you stay on the platform for too long, you won't win the clue", said Antoine.
After a minute of trying to take the fear off her mind, Fluttershy took in a deep breath, and then, without thinking, she leapt off the platform, soaring down towards the ocean, however, just about 5-10 feet from the ocean, she bounced from the bungee.
Once the bouncing stopped, Fluttershy calmed herself from that overwhelming ordeal, and she began pulling onto the bungee, as to grab the ribbon, once she got it, she yelled out the combination.
And Rainbow Dash dialed the number, and opened the case, yanking the cannister out just in time.
" Well done Fluttershy, you now have five clues", said Antoine.
" I'm never doing that again", said Fluttershy.
" That is now the second quest done, we're now just about to face the final quest, you'll all be facing off against the council, the masters of time, as you'll only be spending a limited time in the treasure room, the council will decide how long exactly will you be spending in the treasure room, but before we do that, let's wait until we get Fluttershy out", said Antoine.
Fouras then moved the chess piece from the number one, to the number zero.
" Five clues, with that amount, they'll certainly figure out the password, but there's still one more quest left for them to do, before they face the treasure chamber, they must face my council", said Fouras.
" The treasure chamber will only remain open for a limited amount of time, the duels in this final quest will determine how much time the team will spend", said Fouras.
And that's it for the Quest for the clues, five out of seven available clue words collected, and only two chapters remain, next time, the girls will face off against the forts council, to determine how much time they will spend in the treasure chamber, until then, keep calm and carry on.
