Ch 50 The Beginning of the End Pt 1

Paris, 2019

The Sky is falling, and the Parisians of the Present Day all gaze above. Pieces of the Sky fell to the Earth like shards of glass,

Within the Sky was the very Lostbelt that threatened this Dimension's Proper Human History, the ruins of the Eternal Empire. The City was in rubble, and the streets and Buildings were in ruins.

"W-What is that?" A young Man asked, looking up at the Sky.

"I-Is that Paris?" Another Man asked, seeing the same thing as his fellow Man.

"Just what is going on here? " A Woman asked, not sure what was happening above them.
"I-Is it another Akuma Attack?" She asked the People around them.

Many People were speaking to each other, unsure of what was going on above them. However, the City wasn't the only thing that the Parisians saw,

Standing where the Eiffel Tower was a Giant Woman, her eyes were set on the Present Day.

In the Agreste Mansion, a grey-haired Man looks up at the Parisian Sky like everyone in the City. "Gabriel, what's going on?" Nathalie asked, assuming that this was one of Gabriel's plans, but it didn't make sense due to him returning the Butterfly Miraculous.

"I'm not sure Nathalie, it seems someone has stolen the Butterfly Miraculous from the Guardian and Akumatized someone," Gabriel stated, knowing the power that Miraculous holds.

The bluenette nodded, taking some measures to counter this situation. "Then I shall contact the Police to check on the Guardian." Nathalie stated, "If the Miraculous was stolen, then the Guardian must be in danger."

Gabriel nodded, appreciating his Assistant's attentiveness before hearing his door open. "I appreciate it, Nathalie-Emilie, what are you doing here?" He asked his Wife, now entering his Office.

Emilie approaches her Husband and Friend, aware of the situation. "I saw the Sky and what lies beyond it, Gabriel. This is not the work of the Butterfly Miraculous." The blonde Woman explains, standing next to Nathelie. "This is the work of the Enemy of Humanity, Ritsuka Fujimaru, Ladybug, and Chat Noir need our help to save our World."

"How do you know this, Emilie?" Gabriel asked his Wife, fully aware that she helped Ritsuka and his Servants before. Though he doesn't understand much, he knows that his Servants were Heroes of the Past. "Is it because you were a part of Mr. Fujimaru's company?" He asked,

"In a way, but we do have a guest that should shed some light." Emilie turns around, motioning her body to the door, where Jeanne D'Arc and the Guardian, Wang Fu stood.

"Mr. Agreste, forgive the intrusion." Jeanne apologizes to the former Villian, "However, master Fu has requested me to guide him to your Home. He seems to require your assistance." The Ruler informed them.

"Yes, I believe you're aware of the situation outside?" Fu asked the Agrestes, looking at them.

Emilie nodded, answering the Guardian. "Yes, we're aware. It's not hard to miss a giant portal to the Future looming over Paris." She stated,

The former Villian steps forward, curious about what this conversation is about. "Why are you bringing this up, master Fu?"

Jeanne closes her eyes, stepping forward. "Our master, Ladybug, and Chat Noir along with a small army of Servants went to the Future resolve the Anomaly, the Eternal Empire." The Ruler explains to the Humans of this Dimension. "However, with them gone, there's nobody besides us Servants to help the People."

"What are you suggesting, Lady Jeanne?" Gabriel asked the Ruler Servant.

The Guardian smiles, explaining to the former Villian their request.

Patricus, 2035, the Giant Crater

The White Titian set her eyes towards the window to the Present, she lifted her foot as she started to make her way down the path she made.

What lies in the Moon Cell was just the platform where the Eiffel Tower was. The Pieces of the Supercomputer were only chunks of it around the City, damaging the buildings and parks.

The rubble started to shift as two Servants removed the debris. "Are you all right, Senpai?" BB asked, dismissing the shadows that formed a bubble around them.

Ritsuka nodded, "Yeah, I am." He turns to both Heroes, wondering the same. "Are you two alright? Nobody's hurt?" He asked them.

"Yeah, just a little shaken." Ladybug gave a relieved sigh,

Chat rolled his shoulders, "Man, to think if you guys were one second late then we would be buried by now…" The Hero of Destruction's eyes shift to the Alter Ego beside him,

"I-I'm glad you guys are safe. Damn, my master really did Sefar's awakening dramatically." Violet chuckles, her Body already turning into golden dust.

"Violet…your Body…" Ladybug saw the Alter Ego about to vanish from the Lostbelt,

Violet smiles, knowing what the two Heroes are saying. "Yeah, since my master has bit the dust and the fact, that I used too much of my Magical Energy just to protect you all from the debris, I'm practically done here." The violet-haired Servant stated, "But, I do regret not having to help you stop my master."

Ritsuka shook his head, understanding Violet's predicament. "No, don't be. The situation you were in is quite understandable." The black-haired Magus said, seeing Violet about to disappear. "You've proven you wanted to stop Monarch as bad as we do."

Ladybug nodded, agreeing with Ritsuka. "Yeah, knowing you did everything you could to help us is good enough." She stated, holding no grudges against the Alter Ego.

Chat only nodded, seeing this was his Cousin's fault for making Violet like that. "I can't say anything, but only to say I'm sorry that my Cousin has put you through this." The Hero of Destruction said, apologizing to Violet. "I swear to you, we'll put an end to Felix's goals here and now."

Violet accepted the apology, about to vanish. "Before I completely vanish, there's an important thing you must know." The Alter Ego said, wanting to help them one last time. "Sefar is still in her early stage, in short, she's just woken up. She is more vulnerable now than she was Twelve Thousand years ago,"

"I get what you're saying, Violet," BB stated, quickly understanding what her Creation said. "She's weak and any attack on her can be effective." The Moon Cancer said,

"That's right, I wish you all luck in defeating Sefar. Though, based on your records, master." Violet looks at Ritsuka, recognizing him as her master before she goes. "You have faced ORT before, this should be a walk in the park for you." She smiled before the wind swept her away in golden dust.

Ritsuka and the others look up, seeing the dust that was the Alter Ego who protected them in the end. As much as he wanted to honor Violet, they didn't have time to mourn for her. "I know that Violet has done much for us, and mourning for her is the right thing to do but-"

"I get it," Ladybug spoke, wiping away the tears from her face. "We have a much bigger issue that needs to deal with." The Hero of Creation said, seeing the White Titian walking away from them.

Everyone saw the Calamity walking away, heading to a broken window in the Dimensions.

Chat's eyes drew over to the window, showing the Present clear as day. "At the end of the street, it looks like…Paris!" The Hero of Destruction exclaims, "Sefar is heading to the Present Day Paris!" Chat exclaims,

"So Sefar's destination is Present Day Paris." BB crosses her arms, thinking only one reason why she's doing this. "This must be your Cousin's doing, influencing Sefar into attacking the Present. Man, he really hates your guts," The Moon Cancer smirks at Chat Noir, who didn't take it as a joke.

"I'm not sure why he hates me so much, but that can wait until we defeat Sefar." Chat Noir stated, looking at Sefar walking on the street.

"But how? Sefar is literally a Titian, a Giant being that is destroying everything in her path," Ladybug commented, looking at Ritsuka. "Can the Servants defeat Sefar, Ritsuka?" She asked,

Ritsuka was about to answer Ladybug's question when someone else spoke up. "We can!" everyone turns around, seeing Charlie and Octavius standing on a large pile of rubble. "To say the least we have the means of defeating Sefar." Charlie quickly joins his Grandson and their Allies with Octavius.

"Charlie, Octavius, you two are alright! What happened to Liz Void and Dorian Grey?" Ritsuka asked the Sabers what happened on their end.

"The Foreigner has departed from this Dimension as for the Berserker." Octavius looks at Charlie, who steps in.

Charlie closes his eyes, telling him what happened. "She met her end when the Moon Cell exploded," He said, sharing that both Liz Void and Dorian Grey are no longer a threat in this Lostbelt. At least for now,

Ritsuka nodded, taking that into consideration. "Alright, we can worry about Dorian Grey later for now-"

Chat and Ladybug looked at each other, not sure what Charlie meant. "Hold on, what do you mean? You guys have something that could defeat Sefar?" Ladybug asked, understanding that they had something to stop the White Titian.

Charlie and BB look at their master, who quickly understands why the two are looking at him. "The Hume-Barrel Rayproof! I can't believe I forgot about that trump card!" Ritsuka slaps his forehead, almost forgetting about it.

"Um," Chat waves his hand at the Chaldeans, wanting to understand something. "Yeah, hey; uh what is this Hume-Barrel Rayproof you guys are talking about?" The blonde Hero asked,

BB turns to Chat Noir and Ladybug. "The Hume-Barrel Rayproof is one of Chaldea's last and most powerful trump cards. It measures the "Threats to Human History" and based on those measurements, we can use those measurements to blast- well in this case Sefar, into bits and Pieces."

"And the good part, only part of the Magical Energy for powering the Barrel is coming from the Engines while the other is from the Earth's own Energy," BB explains to the two what their plan is now.

"That's great! You guys have that kind of Weapon hidden in your sleeves?" Chat smiles, seeing they have at least a chance to defeat the Titian. "You should've told us from the beginning.

"But we do need to take into account that upon Sefar's destruction; her Pieces might form into the Gigantes," Ritsuka said, knowing the story from the Greek Servants in Chaldea.

"Gigantes? As in the Gigantes from the Gigantomachia of Greek Mythology?" Chat asked, believing he had heard everything. But now isn't for any jokes. "So, what do we do to destroy Sefar and also stop another Gigantomachia, Ritsuka?"

Ritsuka ponders before noticing Suzaku flying towards them after Sefar's awakening. "Oh good, you're all safe. Though not some of you, Violet seems to bite the dust." The Grand Caster commented,

"Caster! Your Familiar is alright," Ladybug exclaims, looking at the Familiar.

"Yes, I'm merely a Familiar. My main Body is at the end of the street where Sefar is walking on." Abe no Seimei spoke, informing them where he was.

"So you didn't help out in protecting Senpai or the others, didn't you Caster?" BB said to the Grand Caster Servant.

Abe no Seimei chuckles, replying to the Moon Cancer. "No, sorry; I was busy with setting up some fronts for when Sefar awakens. Now the time has come." The Familiar looks at the Chaldeans and Heroes of Paris. "Listen here, this Lostbelt is no longer a threat to Humanity; in fact, it is now a front to stop Sefar from reaching Present Day Paris."

"Every Servant and Human here must utilize everything they got to weaken or at least to slow the White Titian." Abe no Seimei stated, empathizing with the importance of the situation. "This includes no gasping at Noble Phantasms, quick goodbyes, and sacrifices."

Everyone nodded, "Your plan to use the Hume-Barrel Rayproof is a good plan, master. However, it needs time to charge its Magical Energy." Abe no Seimei compliments the plan they have.

Ritsuka nodded, "But we do have a problem after we defeat Sefar."

"The Gigantes, I'm aware. But I do believe you got a Second Holy Sword on hand, right?" The Grand Caster turns his eyes to Charlie who merely blinks.

"Joyeuse, I remember now!" Chat Noir exclaims, "You said before Joyeuse is also a Holy Sword right? Then with the Hume-Barrel, it could-"

"Destroy all remnants of Sefar, ensuring that no second coming of the Gigantomachia," Ritsuka said, lifting his Spirit Origins Watch. "Hello? Anyone there?" He tried to contact Chaldea,

Soon enough, the Storm Border responded to Ritsuka's call. -ZZZ- Director! We've gotten through, Vice Commander! -ZZZ- Ginny's voice came on, giving the Magus a sigh of relief.

Goldolf soon came onto the line, looking relieved upon receiving contact. -ZZZ- Director Fujimaru, it's great to hear from you, but please do try and make contact regularly. -ZZZ- The Head of the Musik Family spoke, -ZZZ- Just waiting for a clear transmission from you here is very anxious. I don't think we can handle another-"

"I'm sorry Goldolf, but we have a bigger situation here." Ritsuka interrupted his Vice Commander,

-ZZZ- Huh? Situation? -ZZZ- Goldolf questions before Holmes, Da Vinci, Mashu, and Sion came online.

-ZZZ- By situation, do you mean to say that the large Temporal Anomaly that was swirling above us just increased its size? -ZZZ- Sion asked, keeping tabs on the large Temporal Anomaly above Paris with the Staff.

Goldolf's face paled, hearing what the Atlas Alchemist said. -ZZZ- Wait, increase its size? What do you mean- oh, it's bigger…IT'S BIGGER!? HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN!-ZZZ- The plump Magus panics at the Data collected.

Ladybug held her arm, hearing the Magus panics. "We failed in preventing Sefar's awakening. She's heading to the Present Day Paris." She told the Chaldeans,

Holmes and Da Vinci analyze the Data, -ZZZ- Sefar, the White Titian that destroyed countless Pantheons Twelve Thousand years ago. So that's what the Eternal Empire was doing-no if the Anomaly Emperor wanted to destroy the World; he'd already have Sefar sent to the Present. -ZZZ- The Ruler deduced,

"It's not surprising, it's my Cousin. Felix, the Anomaly master." Chat Noir answered what the Detective was deducting. "He somehow influenced her to destroy our Home by killing himself and falling into Sefar's sleeping Body."

-ZZZ- I see, similar to how Daybit Sem Void used his own Body to awaken ORT. -ZZZ- Da Vinci ponders before shaking her head. -ZZZ- In any case, is this the reason why you called us, Fujimaru-kun? To warn us about the incoming threat? -ZZZ-

Ritsuka nodded, "Yes, and also start preparation on the Hume-Barrel Rayproof. It's the only way to stop Sefar before she does too much damage." The Magus stated, ordering his Staff.

-ZZZ- Ritsuka, I know your plan. You're going to slow Sefar down to buy us time. -ZZZ- Mashu said, knowing her Husband too well to know what he's thinking. -ZZZ- Even with the preparations and extra time, we still have to worry about the People. The Temporal Anomaly is right above Paris, Sefar will come through it and destroy some of Paris upon her arrival. -ZZZ- She stated,

Charlie agrees with her Granddaughter-in-law, turning to the group. "Mashu's right, Sefar will smoosh the area where she'll be landing." The Saber stated,

"Then what are we going to do?" BB asked, raising her brow. "We can't exactly shoot the beam to where we are. It has a limited range, plus it needs to analyze the Threat Level."

Everyone quickly ponders on how to exactly prevent Sefar from destroying Paris and yet protect the Buildings and People of the Present. Suddenly, an idea came into Ladybug's head.

Ladybug steps forward, "I'll go ahead and warn the People of the threat coming." She offered to do what is needed.

"What?" Chat looks at Ladybug with wide eyes. "You can't-"

"Chat, even if we can't save most of Paris. We can at least save the People there," Ladybug stated, looking at everyone.

-ZZZ- It's the most logical choice we have, -ZZZ- Da Vinci placed her inputs, -ZZZ- Even though the cost of repairs is costly, it's better than having a lot of People grieving for their losses. I say do it, Ladybug. -ZZZ- The Caster spoke her opinion.

Many agreed with the idea, everyone but her Partner. "Y-You do always have the best idea, but…"

The red-haired Emperor sighs, hoping to save this for later. "Fine, I guess I can help out too. To be honest, I was waiting until the last moment to use my Noble Phantasm for a dramatic effect." The Saber stated, "But that can wait,"

"Shame, I already had Xu Fu, Taikoubou, Nero, and Tamamo-Hime set up near the Gateway," Abe-no-Seimei said, informing the Chaldeans. "In any case, we have a plan in store when Sefar makes it to the Present. We just need Ladybug to clear the area."

"You two are really going to do that!? At a time like this!?" Ladybug exclaims, scolding her Servant and Grand Caster.

Goldolf came on, hearing what the Roman Emperor said. -ZZZ- My thoughts exactly! This is no time for holding back, this is an operation we have to take seriously. -ZZZ- The blonde Magus looks at Ritsuka, -ZZZ- Director, I know you don't like using the Servants as sacrifices but there's a time and place. Your ideals don't have a place here at the moment. -ZZZ-

"I know, I know ever since Felix sacrificed himself to Sefar." Ritsuka turns to the group, ready to commence operations. "Alright, this is going to be the toughest Battle for most of us. But we have to keep doing, let's save Humanity!" He announced to the group.

They all cheered, heading off to do their part in protecting Paris.

"It's been too long…it's been far too long since I laid eyes on her."

At another part of Patricius, the Alter Ego of White; Chat Blanc knelt down with the bracelet in his hands.

"They say that they can help remove the Curse laid upon me by the Arch-Type. They say they can help me reunite with her after I do some things for them."

"At the time, I wasn't thinking straight. I couldn't think of the outcomes that could come in aiding them. They were suspicious, especially that guy named, Foreigner. But I couldn't care less at the time. I have the chance to see her again."

"And I did…and I killed her…why did I kill her? I don't know why…but…was it them?"

"It must be, soon they have me absorb the Powers of the Miraculous; including my own. They called me Alter Ego of White. A new identity for my longer purpose of seeing her again…who was she again?"

"Serving Foreigner and the other guy who told me to call him master. I've forgotten what I was doing…what I wanted to see…"

Chat Blanc looks down at the Lucky Charm in his hand, feeling some sort of attachment to it. "This thing…it reminds me of something I used to own…but who-" His eyes look up, about to ponder who it was that gave it to him.

Then he saw gave the Charm to him, that midnight blue hair, that Ladybug-themed Bodysuit flying past the large being walking down the street. "P-Princess…Mari…nette…Marinette…"
