Chapter thirteen:

Kyouya had kind of expected the twins to not show up today. He is standing beside Tamaki with the two of them holding hands.

The others have already been sent home for the day with Tamaki cancelling the host club today… All for Kyouya's sake after the information that was found out.

Tamaki looks worriedly to Kyouya who just stares at the closed door to their club room. "Darling?" He inquires and finally Kyouya turns to him actually letting him see his eyes by letting the light reflection disappear. He searches those eyes that he loves so much. "What do you want to do about all of this?"

Kyouya looks down trying to figure out what he wants to do. He doesn't doubt that Hikaru and Kaoru's parents are probably even thinking about changing their school. He probably doesn't have much time to be able to much. He closes his eyes softly and for a moment he swears he can see his sister.

She gives Kyouya an assuring smile. "It's alright. You can forgive them. It technically isn't their fault. Isn't that right?"

Kyouya supposes not and he knows that she would look at the whole situation. He really can't blame the twins who were just having to do what they had to for their family business. His attention should be turned elsewhere. He opens his eyes coming to a decision. "I am going to the twins home." He announces to Tamaki. He even meets his eyes. "My sister would see that it wasn't fully their fault. Sure she's dead because of them or well Kaoru. However there is a different target that I need to have in my sights. The one who truly is responsible for all of this. I should speak with them before things are ruined forever."

Tamaki is a little surprised by this. He manages to shake it off before nodding softly. "Alright. Let us go."

The two let go of each others hands and head for the waiting limo outside deciding to use Tamaki's as Kyouya sees a slight look in the driver of his family limo.

Kyouya doesn't doubt that he is supposed to be going elsewhere according to the driver. He stays beside Tamaki as the limo starts to drive to the twins house. He hopes that things can perhaps be fixed.

… Later…

Tamaki and Kyouya stand as they face the twins mansion.

Kyouya takes a breath then he takes the lead in heading over to the door where they are let in by twin maids.

The two find the twins parents waiting for them in the entryway. They see the serious and cold looks on their faces.

"We know why you are here. And I tell you now to turn around and abandon your mission." The twins father warns of the two making it clear that he thinks that they are here for some revenge on Kaoru especially.

Tamaki clears his throat. "You are mistaken. After deliberation we have realized that they, well Kaoru, was only doing what he had been paid to do. We want a second chance to talk to them." He bows his head to the two adults before them.

The twins parents look surprised and glance to each other before noticing something and turning to look to the stairs where they see Kaoru and Hikaru step out.

The twins must have been listening in on the conversation.

Kyouya steps forward. "I may have thrown too much judgement your way too quickly. My sister would have looked at things not in such a narrowminded way." He explains watching the twins with a light glare on his lenses to hide his hurt of remembering his sister. "You only were doing what you had to. What you were hired to do. There is someone else who is at fault for all of this. I just wanted to make amends before it was too late."

There is a shocked silence that hangs tensely in the air.

Kaoru heads down the stairs to approach Kyouya. He dips his head to the other. "I'm sorry." He tells the other keeping his eyes closed and head down. "I had a job to do and it had to be done. The contract did not tell me that it would be you who found her."

Kyouya nods softly to this. "Thank you. I can only imagine how hard it has been on you." He sees Kaoru slightly lift his head to look at him. "And I do forgive you. There is someone else I cannot forgive for this. However you? I can understand the circumstances you were put into." He assures Kaoru who smiles softly to his friend. He smiles softly as well as he is glad that he was able to fix the friendship.

"How about some tea?" The twins mother offers but Kyouya shakes his head.

"Thanks but I need to go do something elsewhere. I am glad that I was able to make amends." Kyouya turns and heads out with Tamaki bidding the twins farewell until tomorrow before following. "You should head home." He tells Tamaki as they head for the limo. "This is my fight."

"No way. Your fights are my fights mommy." Tamaki cuddles up to Kyouya and the two share a loving smiling look. "We'll go together." He adds and the two climb into the limo with a silent agreement to allow the blonde to come along.

Just a little later the two are now standing at the entryway to Kyouya's fathers office, the one that has more leeway to accessing. They take a breath then open the doors heading inside.

Kyouya's father looks up from some work that he paused, as seen by him just holding his pen, to watch with cold serious eyes as the two approach side by side though not holding hands.

Some of Kyouya's older siblings are in the room on side chairs working on laptops though stop to watch what is going to happen.

Tamaki and Kyouya stop just before Kyouya's fathers desk.

"I know what you have done." Kyouya announces glaring at his father as one of his lenses allows the glare to disappear. "You killed Fuyumi."

There is some mummers about this from the siblings in the room that quiet down when their father speaks.

"I didn't kill her. I merely paid for her demise. Her blood is not on my hands."

"And what did you have to gain from doing this?" Kyouya questions not letting the other's words get to him.

"A lesson." Kyouya's father glares at Kyouya looking like some kind of menacing business man. "You need to be straightened out. You have drifted too far from how this family should be. You have become a disgrace and that woman was helping you spread mud on our family name."

"You don't get to talk to her like she was some outsider." Kyouya hisses to the man before him. "You're the disgrace to this family. Ordering the death of one of your own family members. If this family meant something to you then you would have never even considered it."

"You must make sacrifices to stay at the top." Kyouyas father gets to his feet then walks around his desk towards Kyouya. "And she was needed out of this family for us to thrive."

Kyouya shakes his head before returning to glare at him. "You just don't like that I am making my own path!" He hisses at the man. "What is it to you anyway? There's no way I am going to inherit the family business. You could have just left me to make my own path!"

"You were ruining your life!" Kyouyas father hisses getting truly agitated at this. "You should be thankful for this chance to turn your life around. In the direction you should be heading. You were supposed to support your siblings in the family business. If you want to continue to disgrace this family then I will have you killed too."

Kyouya growls lowly and takes Tamaki's hand. "I don't care what you want to say about anything anymore. I will have my own life to lead. I don't need you."

Kyouya's father seems to have been tipped over the edge at this. "You fucking disgrace!" He goes to slap Kyouya but another hand grabs his stopping him. He turns to glare only to find the one he had planned to succeed him.

"Father." The older son clearly has something important to say. "That won't be necessary. None of this had to happen however you let it go this way." He stares right into his father's eyes. "I have already set into motion a way for me to take over this family from you. As your chosen heir. I could see a darkness that has been spreading in you. I knew I had to do something. Fuyumi never had to die. If only I had executed my plan sooner."

"What!?" Kyouya's father shouts then glances to the other children of his in the room looking for anyone who supports him. He hisses at seeing that they are all siding with Kyouya. He yanks his arm out of the grip. "Don't think that this over. All of you." He declares then goes to storm out only to stop when he opens the door coming face to face with the twins father holding a gun aimed at his face.

"It is time father." The one who will inherit the family business announces. "Goodbye."

The twins father drags the other man away and shoots him where the others wont have to see. He passes by the open doorway on his way out giving a nod to those in the room who give thankful looks then he leaves with that.

"Kyouya."

Kyouya turns to his older sibling who is the new head of the family. He finds a smile greeting him on that face.

"I support you and your boyfriend. Make whatever name you would like for yourself."

Kyouya smiles at his sibling. "Thank you." He looks to Tamaki and the two share a very brief kiss.

"Our friends will forgive Kaoru once we talk to them." Tamaki tells Kyouya who nods his head believing in their friend group.

Years later…

Tamaki and Kyouya have inherited the school from Tamaki's family and are currently standing in their office, once was Tamakis father's office, facing a girl in a school uniform. The two of them smiling proudly.

"Your first day here." Tamaki mentions and the brunette smiles to the two of them with her hazel eyes shining.

"I will make you proud mommy and daddy!" The girl promises to her adoptive parents who took her in as a baby. She giggles as she is embraced by the two adult males.

"We know you will our little Harmony." Kyouya assures the girl, Harmony, who nods her head. "Now go to class before you're late."

They let go and Harmony hurries to her class.

"She'll do alright." Tamaki nod with a hum and Kyouya puts an arm around him.

"She will. She was raised by us after all." Kyouya agrees and the two share a kiss together before pulling apart. "I will check on the medical staff." He is glad that he got his own little branch of the company from his brother to be able to make sure that the students continue to get the best care. Him handling the branch makes it cheaper for the school and extra profits for the both of them, since the branch also goes to other schools getting money from them too. He thinks about how the others are doing.

Hunny started a toy making business that has skyrocketed with Mori at his side.

Haruhi has become a successful lawyer and actually married a guy named Arai that was met once by the others while still in school. She continues her lawyer career and he took over his uncles produce shop. She even recently announced a baby on the way with her and her husband.

Kaoru has continued his fathers business and though things had been tense at first he did fix his friendship with everyone. He is quite good at what he does and runs the company very well only allowing those he deems ready to take on jobs. He also takes on quite a lot of the jobs himself though. He has made quite some helpful friends who have lent their services to help him when he very occasionally may need it; like Kyouya luring a target to one of his family's medical retreats and making sure Kaoru won't be stopped by security.

Hikaru is doing pretty well with his mothers fashion business, which has even helped in some assassinations, with him having made the front page for a new dress design that he had made.

"You know. The twins were talking about adoption." Tamaki mentions and Kyouya hums at this.

The twins haven't really shown interest in marrying anyone yet so it makes sense.

"Guess we should give them a recommendation for an orphanage." Kyoyua mentions to his husband.

"I think so." Tamaki agrees sharing another kiss with Kyouya.

The End.
