Teen Titans Beyond

Before you read: This episode will have some aspects of "How Long is Forever?", but there will be more than a few differences. We will also see the return of a couple minor characters from previous episodes. This filler episode will focus on Cyborg and will reflect on his personality a bit, and be a little bit like "Cyborg the Barbarian".

It was nighttime in Jump City and there was something going on at a toxic waste facility in the industrial district. The Teen Titans were there fighting Plasmus as he sent Cyborg crashing through a wall and tumbling across the floor. He started to get up when Plasmus spewed a bunch of his purple slop out of his mouth and hit Cyborg with it. Cyborg stood in place as the slop dripped off of him as the others joined him with concerned expressions.

Beast Boy showed disgust as he pointed at Cyborg and said, "Dude! That is nasty!"

Cyborg stared at Plasmus as he complained, "Plasmus needs to learn to say it, not spray it."

Plasmus viciously screeched at them and then grabbed a huge tank of chemicals and then threw it at all of them. The Titans scattered to avoid the tank as it shattered and splashed chemicals everywhere, but they were all fine.

Robin then drew his bo staff and yelled, "Titans go!"

The Titans charged at Plasmus and prepared to fight him; Starfire flew and threw a few starbolts at him, blowing holes in his body. Plasmus healed himself as he oozed back together and then stretched his arm out, grabbed Starfire, and smashed her into a wall.

Beast Boy ran in his human form while Raven flew next to him and exclaimed, "Beast Boy, living harpoon!"

Beast Boy then jumped into the air and transformed into a narwhal, then Raven encased him in her black magic and launched him at Plasmus. The green narwhal impaled Plasmus as Raven ran him threw with him, then Beast Boy turned into a dog and shook some of Plasmus' goo off of him. He looked to see he formed a hole in Plasmus' stomach, but Plasmus filled in the hole and then stretched his arms out toward Beast Boy. Beast Boy turned into a humming bird and avoided his hands as Plasmus tried to grab him, then Raven flew up behind Plasmus.

Her eyes glowed white as she held her hands out and chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

She encased several canisters of ooze in her black energy and hurled them at Plasmus as they drove into his body. However, Plasmus sucked them into his body and then shot the empty cans out at high speed as they went in every direction.

Beast Boy and Raven ducked, then they got up and Beast Boy sarcastically said, "Nice going!"

Robin then ran past them and threw three birdarangs at Plasmus and each one cut out small chunks of his body, but Plasmus immediately healed himself. Robin ran at him with his bo and swung it at him three times, but Plasmus absorbed the blows before Robin jabbed him in the stomach with it. Plasmus absorbed Robin's bo and then shot it out and missed Robin; Robin quickly pulled out three explosive discs and hurled them at Plasmus. They went into Plasmus' mouth as he ate them and then he exploded and his purple slop went everywhere. Plasmus' body oozed back together and he shrieked as he grabbed Robin and threw him away before Starfire caught him. Plasmus then grabbed a huge tank of toxic waste and drank it until it was completely empty, then he threw the tank away. He stared at the Titans as he growled while his body started bubbling a bit and steam came from him. He rested his hand on a large machine, but his body was now so hot that it melted just from Plasmus touching it. He started stomping toward the Titans as he touched some more machines and melted them while shrieking viciously.

The Titans looked scared as Robin urgently said, "Don't let him touch you!"

Plasmus came at them and tried to grab them but Raven immediately created a barrier of her black magic that protected them. Plasmus angrily started pounding on her barrier while she and the others flew away and then Raven dropped the barrier. Plasmus' body was still boiling hot as he stretched his arms out toward them, but he was hit by a blue sonic blast. The blast hit Plasmus and blasted him into a machine behind him, which melted while his arms returned to their usual length.

The Titans watched as Cyborg stepped forward with his right sonic cannon out as he said, "Think you're hot goo boy?! Well let me show you some real fire power!"

Plasmus screeched as he started walking toward him while Cyborg lowered his arm and deactivated his sonic cannons. His shoulders opened up to reveal his six missile launchers and Cyborg used his robotic eye to target Plasmus' big green eyes. He launched six missiles at Plasmus from his shoulders and they hit his eyes before exploding, causing Plasmus to splatter everywhere. His slop cooled down as he lost consciousness and reverted to his human form, and all the Titans gathered around and looked at him.

Beast Boy smiled at Cyborg and said, "Sweet! Way to go Cy!"

Robin agreed as he congratulated, "Yeah, nice work."

Cyborg smiled as he bragged, "It was nothing guys. You can always count on reliable tech to get you out of a jam."

Raven then sarcastically deadpanned, "Right, because technology can fix everything."

Cyborg smiled a bit arrogantly as he said, "As long as you got the most advanced tech you got nothing to worry about, that's why you guys are lucky to have me. Now let's take sleeping beauty to the police and hit the drive through."

Cyborg smiled proudly as he walked out of the room while the others watched him walk out of the room with a bit of concern.

Opening theme song

It was a bright and sunny day as the Titans relaxed at their Tower, doing various activities that they each enjoyed. Starfire was happily feeding Silkie, Raven was reading a book, Robin was working on a computer in the kitchen, and Beast Boy and Cyborg were playing a videogame together.

Cyborg beat Beast Boy and rooted for himself, "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about!"

Beast Boy glared at Cyborg as he whined, "No fair! You only won because you picked this new videogame! Why can't we play something like Cosmic Arena or Stellar Racing?"

Cyborg looked down at Beast Boy as he lectured, "Come on B, those games are old. You gotta keep up with the times and focus on now and the future."

Beast Boy held his palms up as he honestly said, "Dude, old stuff is cool too. I can turn into any animal on the planet, but sometimes it's better to turn into something older like a dinosaur."

Raven looked at Cyborg as she honestly said, "I hate to admit it, but Beast Boy's got a point."

Starfire smiled as she said, "Agreed. Beast Boy's words of wisdom remind me of the blordish monxes dwamonis floxer."

The others all looked at her with clueless expressions as giant red question marks appeared over their heads.

Starfire then clarified, "An expression we were taught on Tamaran. It means to remember history to plan for the future."

Understanding her, Robin agreed as he turned away from the computer and said, "Yeah Cyborg, it's important to move forward and keep up with things, but sometimes the old ways are better."

Cyborg thought for a moment but brushed off his friends' advice when suddenly an alarm sounded and Robin went back to the computer.

The others all looked at him as Beast Boy asked, "What is it?"

Robin's eyes widened as he stared at the screen and looked at the others and said, "It's a distress call, from Fixit."

Cyborg's eyes widened in shock, then he narrowed them as he seriously said, "Let's go!"

Later, they all went to the junkyard and entered the underground entrance to Fixit's as they spotted some of his security drones. They all stared at them as Robin, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy narrowed their eyes and prepared to defend themselves.

Cyborg held his right hand out in front of his friends to stop them as he calmly said, "Take it easy guys. Everything's okay."

The drones stared at them for a few more seconds before backing away and clearing a path toward Fixit's lab.

Cyborg started walking while the others were surprised as Beast Boy said, "Uh… Thanks."

They followed Cyborg into Fixit's underground lab as he came to them and calmly said, "Hello Titans. I am pleased to see you."

Cyborg smiled politely as he said, "Hey Fixit. How's it going?"

Fixit showed a small smile as he said, "I am fine. Thank you for asking."

The Titans glanced around at Fixit's lair and noticed that it looked different from the last time they were there. It now had a refrigerator, a kitchen table, a counter, a TV, a chair, a couch, a coffee table, an air conditioner, and some cabinets containing plates and cups. However, the lair was still pretty dark and creepy and had his many small robots and other machines around the room. Some of the little robots were sitting on the couch while others were standing on the counter, and they all stared at the Titans with glowing red eyes.

Raven was a bit put off as she said, "I like what you've done with the place."

Beast Boy smiled awkwardly as he tried to be polite and said, "Yeah uh… really homey."

Just then, something came down in front of them, which made Robin, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy scream in fright as they jumped.

Atlas' former mechanic Spike flew down in front of them with his jetpack as he happily said, "Hey guys. Good to see you."

The others let out a sigh of relief before Beast Boy showed an annoyed expression and said, "Dude, don't do that!"

Spike smiled as he apologized and said, "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."

Raven denied her fear as she said, "You didn't scare us, you just startled us. But don't do it again."

Beast Boy smiled coyly at Raven, knowing that she was denying her fear, but he was not worried about her powers getting out of control again. Since Spike left Atlas, Cyborg and the others introduced him to Fixit and they had started working together, building new technology. Fixit agreed that Spike would be a good assistant for him and they all felt that Spike could help Fixit regain his humanity.

Cyborg smiled at him as he said, "Hey Spike, how you doing?"

Spike landed on the floor as he smiled and said, "Oh pretty good. Fixit and I are making some good money and I'm liking our new partnership. We build some great devices together and he treats me way better than Atlas ever did. Fixit's a great guy."

Fixit looked at Spike with a monotone expression as he said, "Your respect is appreciated Spike, and I do thank you for your assistance."

Spike smiled at Fixit with respect as he said, "No problem man. Glad I can help."

Fixit then started to examine a few broken machine parts that he made float in front of his face with his mind.

As he examined the technology he said to himself, "Hmmm… Pity. This technology is outdated but perfectly functional. A shame it was carelessly discarded. However I will be able to find a suitable use for it down here."

Cyborg showed a bit of concern as he turned to Spike while pointing his thumb at Fixit and asked, "How's it going with him?"

Spike smiled as he sincerely said, "He's getting better. I've been helping him remember what it's like to be human. I'm helping him get out more and convincing him to take more breaks from fixing stuff. He's starting to like getting out in the sun. He's still got some problems but he's doing okay."

Cyborg smiled happily as he said, "Glad to hear it. Keep up the good work."

Robin stepped forward and respectfully said, "It's nice to see two you again, but why did you call us here?"

Fixit moved the parts he was examining onto a table with a blank expression as he turned around and said, "Come."

He and Spike lead the Titans to a monitor, which then played some footage from a different part of Fixit's lair.

Fixit stared at the screen with a blank expression as he explained, "Two hours ago, an intruder infiltrated our lab and stole one of our devices."

Spike narrowed his eyes as he seriously said, "Our security drones tried to stop him but he turned them into scrap."

The screen showed Warp stepping into the entrance with an evil smile on his face as the security drones approached him.

The Titans all recognized him as Robin pointed at the screen and said, "That's Warp!"

Fixit looked at the Titans as he curiously asked, "You know that man?"

Robin looked at Fixit with a serious expression as he explained, "Yes! He's a criminal from the future. His suit has technology way more advanced than anything we have today."

Spike folded his arms as he glared at the screen showing footage of Warp while he said, "That explains how he made such short work of our drones."

He rapidly fired his shoulder blasters and destroyed all of the security drones with ease before destroying the security camera, so the screen only showed static.

Spike looked at the others as he frowned and said, "Fixit and I knew we couldn't do anything to stop him, so that's why we called you guys."

Fixit turned around to the Titans and held his right hand out toward Spike as he explained, "My assistant and I were able to repair our drones, but the intruder escaped with what he wanted."

Starfire looked troubled as she asked, "What is it that Warp stole from you?"

Fixit made a few small robots fly around, pull out an empty box, and give it to him while he said, "A quantum vortex generator."

The others gasped in shock and horror, except Beast Boy who pouted, "Aww! Why can't I ever understand this stuff?"

Cyborg frantically exclaimed, "Warp has a quantum vortex generator?!"

Spike held up his hands as he calmly said, "Easy! It's just a prototype. Even if it works there's not much he can do with it."

Robin showed a serious expression as he said, "It'll be just the thing he needs to get himself home."

Starfire spoke urgently as she said, "He seeks to repair his suit and return to his future."

Fixit spoke in a monotone voice as he said, "Do not worry. The quantum vortex generator alone will not be enough for him to travel through time."

Cyborg thought with a serious expression as he said, "No, you're right. He'll need something else too. And I know exactly what and where to find it."

Later that night, the Titans were staking out a Wayne Enterprises facility as they waited on a nearby rooftop and spied on the building.

Starfire looked at Cyborg as she curiously asked, "You are certain that Warp will come here?"

Cyborg nodded as he seriously said, "Definitely! They've been working on an experimental wormhole regulator for months. It's just what Warp needs to get back to the future."

Beast Boy smiled confidently as he said, "So we wait for him to show up and then we totally kick his butt!"

Robin showed a wary expression as he looked at the others and said, "Careful everyone. Warp's not an enemy to take lightly."

Cyborg nodded as he said, "Robin's right. His tech is a hundred years ahead of ours. We gotta give him everything we got."

Raven was not deterred as he said, "It doesn't matter how advanced his technology is, we'll still beat him."

Cyborg's left arm suddenly started beeping and he looked at a screen in his forearm and showed a fearful expression.

Cyborg then stood up and exclaimed, "He's in! He's already in!"

Robin stood up and seriously said, "Let's go!"

They all heroically jumped and flew off the rooftop as they rushed in to stop Warp and bring him to justice. Inside the lab, scientists ran for safety while the guards fired their weapons at Warp, who was standing at the other side of the room. He created a blue force-field over himself that shielded him from their blue energy blasts while he smiled arrogantly. He dropped the force-field and then fired the blasters on his shoulders and blasted several of the guards, knocking them down. He retracted his shoulder blasters as one of the guards fired another blue blast at him, but Warp swiped his right arm through the air and deflected it back at the guard. Three guards were close together when Warp fired the blaster mounted on his forehead and knocked all three of them down.

He walked to a glass cylinder with the device floating inside it as he smiled ambitiously and said, "At last! I will return to my future and resume my life!"

Suddenly a starbolt hit him and knocked him away from the cylinder as he tumbled across the floor grunting. He immediately got back on his feet with an irritated expression and looked up to see the Titans on a catwalk.

They all glared daggers at him as Robin fiercely said, "You think about the future too much Warp, you should focus more on the present."

Warp smiled arrogantly at them as he said, "It seems you Titans are destined to try and stop me, but I'm afraid it's the end for you!"

He then fired the blaster on his forehead and sent a blue beam of energy at him, but the Titans scattered to avoid it. Robin threw an explosive disc at Warp but he just formed a blue force-field over himself and blocked it as it blew up. He dropped the force-field and stood in place as he watched Robin come at him with his bo staff and swung it at him. Warp did not flinch as he grabbed the bo in his hand and held it in place, then he took it from Robin and swung it at him, knocking the Boy Wonder away before throwing the bo aside. Starfire flew at Warp with her eyes and hands glowing green as she tried to punch him, but Warp made an hourglass-shaped weapon come out of his right forearm and zapped Starfire. She screamed in pain as she floated in the air and then was knocked away while he smiled victoriously before turning to the others. He saw Beast Boy charge at him as a woolly mammoth but Warp just waved his left hand through the air and froze the green mammoth in a huge chunk of ice.

The others were all shocked as Raven yelled, "Beast Boy!"

Warp smiled mockingly as he stared at Beast Boy and said, "I know a Natural History Museum that would pay handsomely for you."

Suddenly Warp was hit by a blast of Raven's black magic and knocked away as he tumbled across the floor. He got up with a vexed expression and saw Raven flying toward him with her eyes glowing white as she prepared to attack him. While they fought, Starfire and Robin went to Beast Boy frozen in ice; Robin pulled out a few discs and threw them at the ice. They glowed red as they generated extreme heat that melted the ice and freed Beast Boy as he reverted to his human form.

He was on his knees as he hugged himself, shivering uncomfortably while he said, "D-D-D-Dude! Anyone g-g-g-got a sweater?"

Meanwhile Raven fired a beam of her dark energy at Warp, but he dodged it and then fired red lasers from the blasters on his shoulders. He successfully hit Raven and knocked her out of air and sent her crashing to the floor as she cried in pain.

He smiled as he prepared to finish her when he heard Cyborg yell, "Yo clockwork!"

Warp turned his head when he was suddenly hit by a blue sonic blast and knocked into the wall behind him. He formed a small hole vaguely shaped like his body in the wall as he climbed out and saw Cyborg aiming his right sonic cannon at him.

He kept aiming at Warp as he fiercely said, "Listen to this!"

Cyborg then fired his sonic cannon again, but Warp smiled evilly as his suit glowed with blue energy and then he phased down through the floor, dodging the blast.

Cyborg was surprised as he looked around and said, "Where'd he go?"

Warp then rose out of the floor underneath Cyborg and punched him in the face, knocking him away as he tumbled across the floor. Cyborg got up and growled at Warp who smiled at him evilly as he aimed the hourglass-shaped weapon on his right forearm at Cyborg. He prepared to fire when his arm was hit by a starbolt and he let out a small cry of pain and he looked and saw Starfire floating in the air. She then shot her eyebeams at Warp but he dodged them and then pulled out a buzzsaw-shaped disc and threw it at her, and it exploded on impact. It knocked her out of the air, but then Beast Boy ran at him as a cheetah and jumped on him and pinned him down. However, Warp quickly got back up and lifted the green cheetah off of him just as Raven came flying at him. Warp then threw Beast Boy at Raven and he reverted to his human form as he crashed into her and they both fell to the floor. Warp had a smug look on his face when he turned and noticed Robin and Cyborg running at him from opposite directions. Warp smiled deviously as his suit glowed with blue energy and then Robin and Cyborg harmlessly passed through him and crashed into each other as they both fell to the floor.

Warp stopped glowing with blue energy as he smugly looked down at the Titans and gloated, "You antiques were always meant to fall before me."

Warp walked back over to the cylinder and his suit glowed with blue energy as he reached his arm through the shield and grabbed the device. He then pulled his vortex regulator off his suit and installed the wormhole regulator into his suit and smiled as he quickly finished. He then put his vortex regulator back on and pressed it as he opened a portal to the future with a smile on his face.

He smiled triumphantly as he looked at the Titans and said, "Farewell Titans, I will remember our time together but it's time for me to move on."

Cyborg then gritted his teeth as he charged at Warp as fast as he could and jumped at him as he yelled in fury. Warp looked at him in shock as Cyborg tackled him and they both disappeared through the portal as it closed.

The rest of the Titans stared in shock as Starfire yelled, "Cyborg!"

Cyborg and Warp were hurtling through the timestream together as Cyborg held on tightly to Warp, who struggled in his grip.

He kept trying to break free as he demanded, "Release me! Careful! Do not damage my suit! I will not be set on another detour!"

As he struggled Cyborg held on tightly and grunted as he said, "You're not going anywhere future boy! It's time to face the music!"

Cyborg held on tightly as he and Warp floated into a bright blinding light and then emerged from a portal back into Jump City at nighttime. They fell out of the portal and on the sidewalk as Cyborg fell on top of Warp as they both cried in shock.

Warp then pushed Cyborg off of him as he angrily said, "Get off of me you relic!"

Cyborg landed on his feet and grunted as he clinched his fists in a fighting stance while Warp got up and glared at him. Cyborg glared back at him until he looked around and noticed how different everything was as he saw the city. He saw flying cars, floating TV screens, hovering lights, robots manning stands, and many other futuristic devices.

Cyborg was amazed as he said, "Yo! What is this place?!"

Warp kept glaring at Cyborg while he angrily exclaimed, "Foolish child! You have followed me to my future!"

He then activated the blasters on his shoulders and fired two red laser beams at Cyborg and blasted him away. He sent Cyborg flying through the air and crashing in an alley as he landed in a futuristic dumpster full of garbage.

Warp smiled smugly as he gloated, "And here you are out of time."

He turned around and smiled as he looked around at his surroundings and was glad to see that he was back in his own time.

He smiled ambitiously as he monologued, "Finally! Home sweet home! Now I'm ready to make up for lost time."

He opened another portal to a different location and stepped through it before the portal closed behind him.

Once he was gone, Cyborg climbed out of the futuristic dumpster and cringed as he wiped the garbage off his body.

He stepped out of the alley and looked around in awe as he softly said to himself, "Welcome to the future."

Commercial break

Cyborg was by himself in Jump City, one hundred years in the future as he started walking by himself while looking around.

He looked around in awe as he said to himself, "Man! I hardly recognize this town! It's awesome! I can't believe it!"

He passed by some guy who stared at Cyborg and smiled as he said, "Hey buddy, nice costume."

Cyborg was surprised as he said, "Uh… Thanks."

Cyborg kept walking as he passed some other people who did not realize that he was an actual cyborg and thought he was someone in a suit.

Cyborg made his way to the waterfront and glanced around before smiling as he said, "If I'm gonna get back home I'm gonna need to find Warp, but it's gonna be really hard to find him here. I'm gonna need some help, and I think I know where to get some."

He stared out and he saw a familiar sight; on the island in the bay was none other than Titans Tower, still shining brightly in the night in all its glory.

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "Nice to see that some things haven't changed."

After a while he made his way to the island and smiled as he walked up to the front door when suddenly a hologram appeared in front of him.

Cyborg was startled as a holographic man smiled and said, "Hello and welcome to Titans Tower. This amazing building was once the lair of five of history's greatest young heroes: the Teen Titans."

Cyborg was baffled as he walked through the door and looked around to see that the inside looked very different from before. Titans Tower had seemingly been turned into a museum as there were holographic displays of honorary Titans in roped off areas. He saw some people around staring at the different holograms while holographic people told them information about the honorary Titans.

Cyborg was surprised and somewhat let down as he said, "Well, at least we're still remembered."

Cyborg went to some of the other rooms and noticed some other displays that showed more of the other Titans, and some displays showed some of the villains they fought.

At some point Cyborg came across a display of the Titans East and smiled at the hologram of Bumblebee and said, "Hey Bee."

Cyborg went into the hanger and was surprised to see the T-Car and the T-Ship in roped off areas, and Cyborg scanned them with his robot eye and noticed they were still fully functional.

He smiled as he stared as a hologram said, "This is the T-Car. Invented by the famous Cyborg, serving as one of the Titans main means of transportation."

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "Yep. She's my baby."

Cyborg then went up to the main room and noticed all of the furniture was gone, but he was surprised to see life size holograms of himself and his friends. He walked up to the rope and stared at the hologram of himself with a flattered smile when a blonde teenage girl with her hair in a ponytail came up next to him.

She looked roughly the same age as Starfire as she pointed up at Cyborg and said, "Wow! Awesome costume! You look just like Cyborg!"

Cyborg looked down at her as he said, "That's because I AM Cyborg."

The girl laughed as she said, "Yeah right! And I'm Starfire!"

Cyborg showed an annoyed expression as he pointed his thumb at himself and said, "You're not Starfire, but I am Cyborg."

The girl remained skeptical as she said, "Oh yeah? Prove it!"

Cyborg then activated his right sonic cannon and fired a blast at the wall as he said, "Could a costume do that?"

The girl was impressed, but not convinced as she said, "Wow you really went all out. You even gave your costume a sonic cannon just like the real Cyborg."

Cyborg was shocked and annoyed as he said, "Say what?!"

He deactivated his sonic cannon as the girl took his hand and pulled on it as she said, "Nice try fanboy, but anyone can implant technology in their suit to transform a gauntlet into a weapon. Watch, I'll show you."

She ended up pulling Cyborg's arm off and she screamed in fear as she dropped it to the floor, prompting Cyborg to pick up his arm and reattach it.

The girl stared up at him, awestruck as she said, "You really are the REAL Cyborg!"

Cyborg looked down at her as he said, "Took you long enough."

She excitedly stood up and smiled as she shook his hand and said, "Let's start over! I'm Sarah! It's an honor to meet you! I've read all about you and your team from the history texts!"

Cyborg pulled his hand back, surprised as he said, "Uh… thanks."

Sarah was so excited as she happily exclaimed, "This is so cool! I'm a huge fan of you! I have so many questions for you!"

Cyborg stopped her as he held his hands up and said, "Whoa! Hold up! It's nice meeting you little lady, but I got butt to kick and things to do."

He turned and started walking toward the door when Sarah held her hand out and said, "Wait! Maybe I can help you!"

Cyborg stopped walking and turned back to her with surprise as she happily added, "I've got some skills that could help you and I know a place that would have all the tech you need."

Cyborg stared at her with surprise as he said, "Uh… Ooookay."

Sarah smiled as she clinched her fists, then took Cyborg's arm and dragged him out as she said, "Yes! Let's go!"

They both went down to a lower level and passed some holograms of villains as Sarah walked with Cyborg.

Sarah immediately started asking him questions as she excitedly said, "This is amazing! You're really here! You must've come from the past somehow! Time travel! But how, and why?"

Cyborg stopped walking and looked down at Sarah before pointing behind her while he said, "Look it's a long story but I'm here because of… Him!"

She turned around and saw the hologram of Warp, then Sarah narrowed her eyes and said, "Warp! Of course! He used his suit to go back in time and steal the Clock of Eternity, until you guys stopped him."

Cyborg glared daggers as he pounded his fist and said, "Yeah! Now he's come home and brought me along for the ride! I gotta find him, kick his butt, and get back home!"

Sarah smiled at him as she said, "According to history, you and the Titans fought Warp for years before your final fight with him. So that means that you already won, or that you're going to beat him and get back to your time."

Cyborg thought but showed a serious expression as he said, "Maybe but I'd better not take any chances. Nothing's for sure. Either way I gotta find where Warp is."

Sarah happily took his hand and started walking with him as she said, "I can help you find him! Come with me!"

She then took off running as she dragged Cyborg behind her as he let out a cry of fright and followed Sarah, not knowing where she was taking him. Meanwhile, Warp emerged from a portal outside a secret lab, which he entered with a devious smile on his face. He was pleased to see a bunch of other people wearing suits similar to his while they worked on futuristic computers.

They all turned to Warp while he walked toward them and said, "It's been a long time my friends. It's good to see you all still hard at work."

Some of them walked to Warp as one of them smiled and said, "Boss! You're back! What took you so long?"

Warp showed an irritated expression as he answered, "I ran into some trouble with the heroes of the past."

Another man smiled hopefully as he said, "Well, did you get the clock?"

Warp narrowed his eyes as he angrily said, "No! The Titans got in my way when they tried to stop me and the rest is history!"

The others all showed displeasure as one complained, "Perfect."

Then Warp smiled deviously as he said, "However, I did gain a better understanding of time. I realize now that the future is not written in stone and that we have the power to change our futures ourselves."

His men looked at each other with confused expressions as they shrugged, then one of them said, "Great."

Warp smiled ambitiously as he turned to them and said, "I also brought back one relic with me that may bring a profit to us."

Meanwhile, Sarah brought Cyborg to a futuristic police station where people were working hard to protect the city. Cyborg was amazed as he looked around and saw highly advanced computers everywhere with his mouth agape.

He glanced around before looking at Sarah as he said, "Yo! This place is awesome! And they just let you come in here?"

Sarah smiled at him over her shoulder as she said, "My dad's the chief of police. They let me come in here whenever I want, and they let me use their systems to help out sometimes."

Cyborg smiled as he kept following her and said, "Aww yeah! You go girl!"

She showed a flattered smile as she walked into a room where there was a huge supercomputer and no one else. Cyborg stared at the supercomputer as his normal eye bugged out of his head while his jaw dropped.

Sarah smiled as she said, "It's not much but it'll help us."

Cyborg was amazed by her comment as he stared at the supercomputer and then frowned as he thought about how it was much more advanced than his computer at home.

Cyborg walked over to her as she started pushing buttons and he asked, "So what's the plan?"

Several holographic screens appeared, to Cyborg's wonder, and they showed images of Warp and members of his gang.

She glanced around at the holographic screens as she said, "Warp and his gang have been on the city's most wanted for years."

Cyborg was shocked as he asked, "Warp has a gang?"

She showed him some pictures of them as she said, "Oh yeah. Warp's been stealing stuff long before he went back in time and met you. He invented suits for him and his gang to help them steal whatever they want."

Cyborg was shocked and worried as he said, "So everyone in his gang has suits that can travel through time like his?!"

Sarah shook her head as she said, "No, Warp saved the best tech for himself. His henchmen's suits aren't as powerful as his but they still have dangerous weapons."

Cyborg calmed down and nodded as he said, "Okay, so how do we find him?"

Sarah smiled as she started typing on the terminal while staring at the screen as she said, "That'll be easy. I just need to get a lock on his suit's temporal residue and we'll be able to track him anywhere in the city."

Cyborg was impressed as he watched Sarah and said, "Wow! I gotta admit, you got some skills. You're really smart."

Sarah kept typing with a flattered smile as she said, "Thanks. That means a lot coming from you. You were one of the greatest heroes in the world and you were one of the smartest people on Earth in your time."

Cyborg smiled a bit egotistically as he said, "You seem to know a lot about me."

Sarah smiled proudly as she kept typing and said, "Oh yeah. I've read all about you and your friends in the historical archives. I really loved reading about you. I used your designs as inspiration in some of my science projects."

Cyborg was surprised as he curiously said, "You designed technology based on mine?"

Sarah kept typing as she proudly said, "Uh huh. Your old tech is pretty simple to replicate. It's kind of antiquated so I make my own modifications to improve it. It's been really helpful to me in school. I get easy A's thanks to you."

Cyborg glared at her with an offended expression as his face turned red and steam came out of his ears; he did not like how she talked about his technology.

Sarah finally stopped talking as she smiled up at the screen and said, "Finished! I've got a lock on Warp. There he is!"

The screen then showed a digital map of part of the city with a red blinking dot that marked the location of Warp.

Cyborg was very pleased as he smiled and pointed his thumb at himself saying, "Oh yeah! Way to go Sarah! Now I can kick Warp's butt and get back to my own time!"

Sarah turned to him and held her arms out as she urgently said, "Whoa! Wait a minute! You can't go alone! You won't have a chance against him by yourself!"

Cyborg smiled confidently as he said, "Come on Sarah. I can handle him. I beat Warp in the past and I can do it in the future."

Sarah spoke respectfully as she said, "Look, no offense, but your tech is way out of date compared to ours, and Warp's gang will have you outnumbered and outmatched."

Cyborg expressed displeasure as he groaned and reluctantly said, "Alright, so what am I supposed to do?"

Sarah pointed her thumb behind her as she replied, "I'll tell my dad and get the police to escort you and help you beat Warp's gang."

Cyborg folded his arms as he pouted, "Fine!"

Sarah turned around and walked out of the room to go talk to her father while Cyborg stayed behind and turned to the supercomputer. He stared at it in awe and curiously pushed some buttons, activating some holographic screens that showed multiple images and calculations. Cyborg was amazed by the advanced technology, but it also made him feel somewhat insecure about himself.

He looked down at his own hands before clinching his fists as he said to himself, "I may be not be new, but my tech is still just as advanced as anything they got here! I'm not some stupid high school project that's just good enough to get an A."

Later at Warp's hideout

Warp was looking at some things his gang had built since he last saw them and smiled with a pleased expression. They had built a machine that was mass producing advanced technology and weapons that they integrated into their suits. Their suits were now more powerful than before, though they were still not as advanced as Warp's suit, which he enjoyed.

He had his fists on his sides as he ambitiously said, "Excellent work everyone. With these new devices in your suits there will be no one who can stop us. We will travel through time and the riches of history will be ours!"

One of his men smiled hopefully as he said, "Does that mean you're finally going upgrade our suits to your level?"

Warp smiled as he shook his head and said, "No, I'm afraid I can't trust such power to all of you. Not to worry though. Soon we will all embark the greatest crime spree in history."

Suddenly an alarm went off and one guy went to a computer terminal and looked the monitor and showed police vehicles pulling up outside.

He looked at Warp and the others and said, "The cops are here!"

Warp joined him and noticed Cyborg with them as he smiled evilly and said, "And they've brought a friend with them. How perfect."

The others were confused when Warp turned around and started walking as he said, "Come everyone. Let's give our guests a warm welcome."

Outside, Cyborg looked back at the police's flying cars with an impressed expression as he said, "Nice rides you boys got here."

One of the police glanced at Cyborg as he said, "It's not much but it's better than what you drove in your day."

Cyborg glared at the guy with a vexed expression while he and the police gathered around the front door of the building.

One of the officers spoke up and said, "We'd better get the forcible entry tools."

Cyborg smiled proudly as he activated his right sonic cannon and said, "No, don't bother. I'll get the door."

Inside, Warp smiled deviously as his gang quickly got ready for the big fight that was about to happen. Warp's men all hurried to the main room as the front door was blown up and Cyborg entered with the police beside him. The police wore armor similar to the ones in Cyborg's time period but they were more futuristic and had more black areas. They were all armed with futuristic blaster rifles that looked like the ones the police used in the past as well.

Cyborg held out his right sonic cannon as he fiercely exclaimed, "Knock knock!"

A few dozen of Warp's men stared at Cyborg in shock as one of them said, "Wow! Warp was right! It really is Cyborg!"

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "Oh yeah man! That's more like it! Get ready for a little blast from the past!"

Suddenly he heard Warp's voice and he looked to see him behind the railing of the third floor as he said, "Yes, it seems we are going to watch a historical reenactment. How amusing."

Cyborg glared at Warp as he angrily said, "Warp!"

Warp leered down at Cyborg as he mockingly said, "Cyborg, you are very far from home. I'm so flattered that you came all this way to see me."

Cyborg kept glaring at him as he clinched his fist and yelled, "The only thing I want to see is my footprint on your butt!"

Warp showed a serious expression as he glared at Cyborg and the police as he said, "I don't think so! It's time you learned some respect! Destroy them!"

Warp's men started firing laser blasters on their shoulders while Cyborg and the police dodged their red blasts.

A police officer then yelled, "Fire!"

They started firing their rifles and shot blue blasts at Warp's henchmen while Cyborg ran at them as he grunted in fury. He blasted one of Warp's goons with his sonic cannon and sent him crashing into the wall behind him.

He smiled proudly as he cheered for himself and yelled, "Booyah!"

Then he ran at another guy and punched him to the ground, then he fired his sonic cannon and blasted two guys into a wall nearby. The police kept firing their weapons as they hit some of Warp's henchmen and knocked them to the floor. Warp's gang stopped firing their shoulder blasters when Cyborg blasted three guys standing in a row and sent them into a wall. Cyborg blasted another guy with his sonic cannon before deactivating it and running at two guys; he grabbed them lifted them in the air before slamming the together. They were unconscious and the Cyborg threw both of them at some other guys and knocked them to the floor. War's gang became afraid as they turned their attention to Cyborg; several of them surrounded Cyborg and fired blue beams of energy from blasters on their chests. They all hit Cyborg simultaneously as he screamed in pain before they stopped, but Cyborg stayed on his feet and smiled confidently.

He kept smiling as he said, "Nice shot, let me try!"

He ran and swung his fist and knocked several bad guys away with a single punch as he yelled in fury, then he ran at some other bad guys and did the same to them. Cyborg saw six bad guys aim blasters on their forearms at him and fire red blasts at him, but he dodged them and smiled as he activated his missile launchers. He launched six missiles that exploded against the bad guys and knocked them back as they fell to the floor unconscious. One of Warp's henchman ran at Cyborg and managed to punch him in the face, but Cyborg was not deterred as he punched the guy and knocked him down. The police stopped shooting as they watched Cyborg quickly make short work of Warp's remaining henchmen as he beat them with his bare hands. He yelled in fury as he swung his fist and knocked a few guys away, then he grabbed one guy and threw him at two others. Only one guy remained as he desperately fired his forearm blasters at Cyborg at a rapid pace while Cyborg ran at him.

The guy kept shooting as he stared at Cyborg in fear and yelled, "We can't stop him! We can't-"

He was cut off when Cyborg came at him and punched him in the face, knocking him down as he groaned in pain.

Cyborg looked around at the guys on the floor as he smiled proudly and said, "Sorry guys, but it looks like you need to brush up on your history."

Suddenly Warp walked up to Cyborg with an evil smile on his face as he said, "Yes. They never were the smartest of the class."

The police all aimed their weapons at Warp while Cyborg glared daggers and demanded, "Okay old man! Get ready to join your crew!"

Warp smiled arrogantly as he said, "I enjoy your spirit Cyborg, but beating me won't be as easy as beating my hired help."

Cyborg kept glaring at Warp as he pounded his fist and angrily said, "Good, I was hoping for a tougher fight!"

Warp stared at Cyborg as he evilly said, "Then I'm happy to oblige."

He then activated the blasters on his shoulders and fired two red laser beams at Cyborg, but he jumped out of the way and dodged them. Cyborg then activated his left sonic cannon and fired it at Warp, but Warp dodged it and then fired red laser blasts from his shoulders again. Cyborg dodged most of the blasts but the last one hit him and knocked him to the ground as he cried in pain.

Warp smiled when one of the police shouted, "Freeze!"

He looked at them and waved his hand through the air as he said, "Freeze yourselves."

All of the police officers were frozen in ice as Cyborg gasped in shock and then fired his left sonic cannon at Warp again. Warp projected a blue force-field over himself and blocked the blast before he dropped it and pulled out a buzzsaw-like disc. He threw it at Cyborg and it exploded against him, knocking him flat on his back, but Cyborg got back up and grunted in fury. Warp's gang was starting to regain consciousness as each of them got up and watched Cyborg fight Warp. Cyborg blasted his sonic cannon again, but Warp dodged it, then Cyborg deactivated his sonic cannon and threw a huge machine at him. Warp caught the machine in his hands and tossed it aside with his strength as he smiled at Cyborg with a mocking grin that made Cyborg even angrier as he glared at him.

Warp smiled arrogantly as he mocked Cyborg and said, "Foolish boy! You are no match for me by yourself! You may have beaten me with your friends in the past, but this is the future, my present. You are obsolete!"

Cyborg gritted his teeth in fury as he ran at Warp and tried to punch him, but Warp's suit glowed with blue energy as Cyborg passed through him. He stopped running and turned around just as Warp threw a device that attached itself to Cyborg's chest. The device somewhat resembled an egg timer, which then started draining Cyborg's power as white sparks of electricity surged from him.

Cyborg struggled as he shouted, "My power cell!"

He struggled to stay on his feet while Warp smiled victoriously and mocked him as he said, "You are so outdated."

Cyborg then closed his human eye as his robot eye stopped glowing and the blue parts of his body turned black. Cyborg lost all power as he fell to the floor motionless, and Warp and his gang gathered around him.

They all looked down at Cyborg as Warp smiled evilly and said, "Our famous mechanical friend here will fetch us a high profit."

One of Warp's henchmen smiled with greed as he stared at Cyborg and said, "Yeah, once we hold him up for ransom!"

Another one of Warp's guys smiled excitedly as he suggested, "Or we could sell him to the highest bidder! He's a living collector's item!"

A third guy smiled as he said, "Or we could just sell him for scraps!"

Suddenly they were shot at as a blue laser missed them as Warp exclaimed, "What?!"

He and his henchmen all turned to see more police officers enter the building through the hole Cyborg blew in the front door. They ran in front of the officers who were frozen and aimed their weapons at Warp and his gang and started shooting.

With them was Sarah as she demanded, "Get away from him!"

Her father, the chief of police, was also with her as he spoke into a futuristic megaphone and said, "Surrender Warp! You're surrounded!"

Warp showed a vexed expression as he fired his shoulder blasters at them for cover fire and managed to knock a few officers down.

Warp turned to his gang as he said, "Don't just stand there! Retreat!"

They all took off running while Warp glared down at Cyborg before glancing back at the police with irritation. He then opened a portal and retreated through it as he left the building while the police stopped firing.

Sarah then ran to Cyborg and kneeled down beside him as she stared him in the face and said, "Cyborg! Cyborg! Wake up! Wake up!"

Cyborg said nothing as his power had been drained as he lied on the floor unconscious while Sarah held onto him.

Commercial break

Cyborg began to reboot as he saw green letters that read "Online Charging" and he regained consciousness as he powered up. He looked up and saw that he was in a brightly lit room with Sarah standing over him with a concerned expression. The room looked like an infirmary of sorts but Cyborg noticed several large mechanical devices around that looked like they were for working on heavy machinery.

He then sat up and frantically glanced around while he said, "Sarah?! What happened?! Where's Warp?!"

She pressed her hands against his chest to calm him down as she said, "Take it easy Cyborg! Warp's device drained your power cell. My dad and I came to help you with reinforcements. Warp and his gang got away but we managed to save you. We brought you back to headquarters and changed your battery, now you're as good as new."

Cyborg looked at a screen in his left forearm showing diagnostics on himself and he said, "You're right. Thanks Sarah. You saved my butt."

Sarah smiled proudly as she said, "Aww, anything for you Cyborg."

Cyborg then deactivated the screen and frowned as he rested his head in his palm and just stared down sadly.

Sarah noticed his sadness and showed concern again as she asked, "How do you feel?"

Cyborg kept sadly staring into space as he honestly replied, "Physically I'm fine, but I'm not feeling so good about myself."

Sarah smiled optimistically as she said, "Don't worry. We'll find Warp and then we'll kick his butt and get you back home to your friends."

Cyborg was ready to give up as he just stared into space and sulked, "No. I can't."

Sarah was shocked as she exclaimed, "What?!"

Cyborg kept staring into space as he sadly said, "I can't beat him."

Sarah was shocked and devastated by Cyborg losing hope and giving up as she stared at him with her mouth agape. Meanwhile Warp's gang reassembled at another large building where they waited for Warp to show up. Suddenly a portal opened and Warp walked out of it and joined his gang as they all stared at him.

He smiled at all of them as he said, "Good. I'm glad to see you all made it."

Warp's men all glared at him as one of them seriously said, "Warp, we need to talk."

Another one of his men joined them and said, "Yeah, we took a vote and we decided that we all need better weapons."

Another guy showed a serious expression as he said, "Yeah, and we want them before Cyborg comes to stop us again."

Warp smiled arrogantly as he said, "Nonsense. That relic has been out of date for one hundred years. He is nothing compared to our modern technology."

One of Warp's men came up to him and angrily said, "In case you didn't notice that 'out of date relic' kicked all of our butts!"

Another guy poked Warp's chest as he angrily said, "Yeah! You only beat him because you save the best tech for yourself, but what about the rest of us?!"

Another guy joined them as he angrily said, "Either you give us some better tech to fight with or we're out of here!"

Warp gritted his teeth as he groaned but conceded as he said, "Fine! Follow me."

He turned around and lead his gang through a hallway and to a large door that had a keypad next to it with a green screen.

Warp started typing a code on the keypad while he explained, "There's something I finished working on before I went to the past. I believe it will be exactly what you all need."

He finished inputting the code and then the door opened, and Warp smiled as he and his gang entered a large hangar. The lights came on and his gang was amazed as they saw a huge mech standing right in front of them.

Their jaws dropped in awe while Warp smiled and said, "Consider it a gift."

The mech was twenty feet tall and had a color scheme like Warp's suit and a very robust body that was quite imposing. It had a large round torso with large spherical shoulders and large "muscular" arms that had three-digited claws. The mech's lower body was also very robust as it had huge sturdy legs that effectively supported its body. It did not have a head, but on the front of its torso was a blue circular window that shielded the cockpit. The mech also had red blasters on the front of the shoulders and it seemed to have small blue blasters in the centers of its claws.

Warp smiled as he turned to his gang and said, "It's not as sophisticated as my suit, but it has an arsenal of weapons that should be more than enough for you to crush that outmoded Cyborg. What do you say?"

Warp's gang all smiled excitedly as one of them looked at him and said, "Thanks Warp! This is great!"

Another guy smiled as he said, "Yeah! I love it!"

Warp smiled deviously as he said, "I thought you might."

Back at the police station

Sarah was sitting next to Cyborg as he kept sulking, believing that he could not defeat Warp and return to his own time.

Sarah looked at Cyborg as she sincerely said, "Cyborg you can't give up! You have to beat Warp! It's the only way you can get home!"

Cyborg held his head in his hands as he sulked, "I tried, Warp almost shut me down for good. His tech is way more advanced than mine. He's right about me. I'm obsolete."

Sarah was shocked as she said, "What? No you're not."

Cyborg looked at her out of the corner of his eye as he said, "Yes I am. You said it yourself. My tech is old and out of date. The only thing my tech is good for is high school science projects."

Sarah began to understand as she placed her hand on Cyborg's shoulder and sincerely said, "I never said you were out of date. Your tech may be old fashioned but that doesn't mean it's not good or that it's useless. I replicate your tech and it helps me in a lot more than just school. Besides, you're not a machine, you're a person. It doesn't matter how advanced your tech is as long as you put your heart into it."

He looked at Sarah out of the corner of his eye again as he said, "Thanks Sarah, but Warp's just too powerful for me."

Sarah lost her patience as she narrowed her eyes, stood in front of Cyborg with her wrists on her hips, and said, "You know, I've read a lot about you Cyborg, but I never read that you were a quitter! You're a Titan! You and your friends faced odds way worse than this! You saved the world from way worse bad guys than Warp, and you can beat him just the same!"

Cyborg was surprised by Sarah's words as he turned and saw a holographic picture of himself looking heroic with the Titans.

Cyborg then stood up and seriously said, "Time to give him a history lesson."

Later, Cyborg followed Sarah to the building where Warp and his gang were hiding out as Sarah held a handheld scanner in her hand.

She stared at the screen as it beeped rapidly and she looked at the building and said, "We're here. The temporal residue is really strong here."

Cyborg looked at a screen in his right forearm as he said, "My scanners are picking up tons of electronics and life signs inside."

They heard some noises coming from inside the building and Sarah looked at the wall as she said, "I wish there was a way we could see what they're doing in there."

Cyborg glanced around and noticed a small hole in the wall on the ground and he smiled as he said, "I got something that'll help."

Cyborg then detached his right hand as an antenna came out of the back of it, and the end of the index finger flipped over to reveal a red robotic eye. Sarah was impressed as a joystick came out of Cyborg's forearm as he stared at the screen while he controlled his separate hand. His hand then walked on its fingers and crawled through the hole in the wall and entered the building while Sarah crouched next to Cyborg and stared at the screen. They could see everything inside the building as Cyborg's hand stealthily crawled around without being seen.

Sarah was very impressed as she said, "Wow! That's awesome!"

Cyborg showed a flattered smile as he kept controlling his separate hand; inside his hand crawled around behind some boxes and then spied on some of Warp's men.

It spotted them standing by the mech Warp showed them as one guy said, "This is great! With this mech we'll be able to annihilate anyone who gets in our way!"

Warp smiled as he joined them and ambitiously said, "Yes. And with my suit now repaired we'll be able to travel through time and steal the most valuable items in history."

Cyborg's hand saw everything as Cyborg and Sarah gasped in shock as Sarah said, "This is worse than I thought."

Inside, one of the guys looked at Warp as he curiously said, "But won't that risk altering the timeline?"

Warp was not deterred as he explained, "Time is not as fragile as we once thought. And we will choose the right moments to steal them to avoid causing any severe branches in the timestream."

Cyborg's hand saw everything before it left and crawled back outside through the hole in the wall it came in through.

Cyborg reattached his hand while Sarah got off her phone and said, "It'll be a while before my dad and the police get here. We'll have to handle this ourselves."

Cyborg looked at her with a serious expression as he said, "Well it won't be easy with that big mech they got in there."

Sarah smiled deviously as she said, "I've got something at home that should help us take care of these guys."

Cyborg was not sure but trusted her as he smiled and said, "Okay, go get what you need and then meet me back at Titans Tower. I got something I need to get."

Later at Titans Tower, Cyborg was waiting in the hangar when Sarah walked in wearing a high tech suit of armor that seemed to be made from Cyborg's technology. It showed her girlish figure and had colors just like Cyborg's, and she wore a helmet that had goggles that covered her eyes, they were red like Cyborg's robot eye.

Sarah smiled proudly as she said, "I made my own battle suit based on your tech."

Cyborg smiled as he gave her a thumbs up and said, "Nice."

Sarah then curiously asked, "So what is it you needed from here?"

Cyborg smiled as he held up car keys and pushed a button that started the T-Car's engine, then Sarah's face lit up in excitement. Later Cyborg was driving the T-Car through the streets of the city with Sarah riding in the passenger seat.

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "She may be old, but she still drives like pro."

Sarah happily clinched her fists as she yelled, "This is awesome!"

Later at Warp's building, he spoke to his henchmen and said, "We're ready. Our first target is…"

He stopped talking when they suddenly heard a horn honk and then a huge hole was blown in the wall, through which the T-Car drove through.

It stopped and Cyborg and Sarah climbed out as Cyborg seriously said, "Time's up future boy!"

Warp glared at them as he pointed his finger and yelled, "Destroy them!"

One of Warp's guys climbed inside the mech and activated it as he charged at Cyborg and Sarah; despite the mech's size it ran incredibly fast. The guy tried to use the mech to smash Cyborg and Sarah with both arms but they scattered to avoid its arms. Sarah looked up as the mech came at her and jabbed its right arm at her, but she made two wings come out of the back of her suit shaped like the T-Ship's. She ignited thrusters in her wings and flew in the air and dodged the mech's arm as it smashed part of the ground. She then flew at the mech and punched it with the super strength her suit gave her, causing the mech to stumble backwards as the rest of Warp's men scattered to avoid being crushed.

Cyborg was amazed as he looked up at Sarah and asked, "You can fly?"

She smiled proudly as she said, "I based it off your tech but made my own modifications."

Cyborg smiled as he clinched his right fist and yelled, "Yeah!"

She then showed a serious expression as she said, "I'll handle these guys, you take Warp!"

Cyborg nodded in agreement as he ran toward Warp while Sarah hovered in the air and made two small sonic cannons come out of the backs of her gauntlets. She then blasted a few of War's henchmen and knocked them down when the guy in the mech came and fired red laser beams from the blasters on the mech's shoulders.

Meanwhile Cyborg stood in front of Warp in a fighting stance as Warp tediously said, "It seems that history is repeating itself."

Warp then fired a blue beam of energy from the blaster on his forehead, but Cyborg dodged it and activated his left sonic cannon. He blasted it at Warp, but he dodged it and then pulled out a buzzsaw-like disc and through it at Cyborg. Cyborg jumped in the air to avoid it and came at Warp as he tried to slam his feet down on top of him, but Warp jumped back and avoided him, causing Cyborg so slam his feet into the ground. Warp then held up his right arm as the hourglass-shaped weapon came out of his forearm and fired a white ray at Cyborg. He hit Cyborg and knocked him on his back, then Warp walked up to him with an arrogant smile, but Cyborg raised his left leg and fired the sonic blaster in his foot. He hit Warp and knocked him back as he fell to the ground, but then got up while Cyborg did the same with a confident smile on his face.

Warp was mildly annoyed as he said, "Your technology may be powerful, but you're still outdated!"

Cyborg glared at Warp as he said, "I may be in the future but I'm still gonna go medieval on your butt!"

Warp then pulled out a device that looked like an egg timer and threw it at him, but Cyborg dodged it and fired his left sonic cannon. He successfully blasted Warp into the wall behind him, but Warp gritted his teeth and then activated the blasters on his shoulders and started firing at him. Meanwhile Sarah was still flying in the air as she fired her sonic cannons at the mech, but caused no visible damage. The guy jabbed the mech's arms at Sarah and tried to grab her but she swiftly flew through the air and dodged the claws. Sarah then made a small blaster emerge from the center of her torso and fired a blue blast of energy at the mech, knocking it down. Sarah smiled proudly when the other guys on the ground started shooting their shoulder blasters at her, but Sarah started blasting her sonic cannons at them and took out several of them. She hovered in the air and kept blasting at them while the mech got back up and activated two large hourglass-shaped weapons that came out of the sides of its forearms.

The guy driving the mech aimed at Sarah when her back was turned as he smiled evilly, but Sarah turned her head and saw it. She then flew up just before the mech fired two white rays, missing Sarah and blasting a huge hole in the wall. Sarah then flew down and fired both her sonic cannons at the cockpit of the mech, causing it to lose balance for a second before stabilizing. The mech then fired the blasters in its claws at Sarah, but missed as she flew out of the way, and the mech fired blue freeze rays that froze several of Warp's men in big chunks of ice. The guy inside was shocked as he showed regret, then Sarah flew behind the mech and kicked it in the back, knocking it down. The mech got up and quickly turned around as prepared to fire the blasters on its shoulders, but Sarah fired one of her sonic cannons at its left shoulder just as it was about to shoot. She destroyed the blaster and damaged the shoulder as it lost balance, then Sarah flew at it and punched the mech and knocked it on its back.

Sarah smiled proudly as she said, "That's how they did it in Cyborg's day!"

However the pilot made the mech get back up and kept fighting as it quickly ran at Sarah and tried to smash her. Meanwhile Cyborg fired his sonic cannon at Warp, but he blocked it as he projected a blue force-field over himself. Warp dropped it and then rapidly fired red blasts from his shoulders at Cyborg, but he swiftly dodged them and then launched six missiles from his shoulders. Warp used his shoulder blasters and destroyed all but one of the missiles, which exploded against him and knocked him back. Then Cyborg ran at Warp and grunted in fury as he punched him and sent him crashing through a wall, but Warp climbed out of the hole and glared at Cyborg. Cyborg came at him again but Warp fired the blaster on his forehead and sent Cyborg tumbling across the floor. Warp smiled arrogantly as he walked to Cyborg as he was getting up, but when Cyborg turned to him he noticed he was missing his right arm.

Warp smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "It seems I've disarmed you."

Cyborg smiled deviously as he said, "Actually I thought I'd give you a hand."

Warp was confused but then heard a noise and turned around to see Cyborg's left arm flying toward him using its thrusters. The arm flew at Warp and punched him in the face, sending Warp flying past Cyborg and falling to the ground. Cyborg's arm returned to him and reattached itself while he smugly looked at Warp, who angrily got up and glared at Cyborg. Warp then activated his shoulder blasters again and rapidly fired red blasts at Cyborg, but he jumped in the air and came toward Warp as he pulled his right arm back. He yelled in fury as he punched Warp in the face and knocked him down, only for Warp to get back up and throw a buzzsaw-like disc at Cyborg. The disc hit Cyborg and exploded, knocking him back, but Cyborg got back up and ran at Warp as he kept fighting. Meanwhile, Sarah was still fighting the guy in the mech as he made the mech aim the hourglass-shaped weapon on the left forearm at her. It glowed white as it prepared to fire, but Sarah quickly fired her right sonic cannon at the inside of the weapon just before it could fire. This caused the weapon to explode as the mech's arm jerked back, then Sarah fired the blaster on her torso and destroyed the mech's right claw. Then she flew at the mech and punched it in the window of the cockpit, knocking it down to the ground.

Sarah smiled as she hovered in the air and said, "That's how you do it old school!"

She smiled as she turned around, but the mech got back up and swung its left arm at Sarah and knocked her down to the ground as she cried in pain.

She was unconscious while Cyborg grabbed Warp and threw him through a wall, then he yelled, "Sarah!"

He was about to go help her but noticed Warp glaring at him as he prepared to wave his left hand through the air to freeze Cyborg. Cyborg grunted in fury as he fired his left sonic cannon at Warp, blasting him before he could freeze Cyborg. The mech walked over to the unconscious Sarah and lifted its leg over her as the driver prepared to crush her.

He stopped when Cyborg yelled, "Yo big guy!"

He looked at Cyborg, who gritted his teeth and activated both his sonic cannons; he aimed them both at the mech and fired them at the same time. Their combined power created a powerful sonic blast that hit the knocked the mech away from Sarah and sent it crashing through a wall. Sarah regained consciousness as she saw the destroyed mech standing in the hole in the wall while the guy driving it climbed out, groaning in pain.

She smiled gratefully at Cyborg as she said, "Thanks Cyborg."

Cyborg smiled proudly as he deactivated his sonic cannons and said, "Who says old tech ain't good?"

Suddenly he was hit by a red blast and he tumbled on the ground before he saw Warp glaring at him in rage while rapidly firing his shoulder blasters.

Cyborg glared at Warp as he seriously said, "Let's do this the old fashioned way!"

He dodged Warp's blasts while running at him as he gritted his teeth in fury and came closer to Warp with his arms back. When he came close Warp stopped firing his blasters and tried to punch Cyborg with his left arm, but Cyborg grabbed his fist in his hand and held it in place. Warp was shocked and frightened as he stared at Cyborg, who then punched him in the face and knocked him out. Warp was unconscious while all of his men got up and watched with horrified expressions while Cyborg stood over him.

Sarah smiled as she happily said, "Booyah! I've always wanted to say that!"

Cyborg smiled at Sarah, then one of Warp's guys fearfully said, "The boss is down! Let's get out of here!"

They were all about to run but the police had already arrived as Sarah's dad stood with several officers in by the T-Car.

Sarah's dad spoke firmly as he said, "Not so fast."

The police apprehended Warp and his men as they put restraints over their hands and brought Warp to a trial. Cyborg watched the trial along with Sarah, who had taken her battle suit off, and two officers held Warp by his arms.

The judge then pointed her gavel at Warp as she said, "Warp, as punishment for your crimes, you are hereby banished from our time period and sentenced to return with Cyborg to his time to face the justice of his time period."

Warp was shocked and horrified as he said, "What?! No!"

The chief then came to Warp and lifted the regulator off his suit, before taking a part out of it as he said, "You'll never be able to travel through time again."

Warp was shocked as they took the piece and used it to make a different device as they went outside with Warp and Cyborg. Sarah was now holding a projector device that she would use to send Cyborg and Warp back to the past.

Cyborg was a little bit emotional as he looked at Sarah and said, "I guess this is goodbye."

Sarah smiled proudly as she said, "It was an honor to meet you, and fight beside you Cyborg."

Cyborg smiled a friendly smile as he said, "Thanks Sarah. Thanks for all the help."

She smiled back at him as she sincerely said, "You're welcome. Goodbye."

Cyborg smiled as he said, "Bye."

Sarah then aimed the projector and used it to open a portal back to the past, Cyborg then grabbed Warp and jumped through the portal.

It closed behind them and Sarah smiled as she said, "I'll never forget you Cyborg."

Back in the past

In the lab where the Titans fought him, Warp had just opened the portal of the future and was about to go through it.

He smiled triumphantly as he looked at the Titans and said, "Farewell Titans, I will remember our time together but it's time for me to move on."

Cyborg then gritted his teeth as he charged at Warp as fast as he could and jumped at him as he yelled in fury. Warp looked at him in shock as Cyborg tackled him and they both disappeared through the portal as it closed.

The rest of the Titans stared in shock as Starfire yelled, "Cyborg!"

Beast Boy was very worried as he said, "What do we do?!"

Suddenly another portal behind them and they all watched as Cyborg emerged from it with Warp, who was still restrained.

Everyone was surprised as Raven said, "I guess we don't have to do anything."

Warp glared up at the Titans as he angrily complained, "Doomed to spend the rest of eternity with you antiques!"

Cyborg stood up and smiled at his friends as he said, "Hey y'all! Good to be back!"

Robin then curiously asked, "Cyborg, what happened?"

Cyborg smiled as he said, "Long story."

Sometime later, they all went outside where they handed Warp over to the police as he bitterly got in the back of their vehicle. Cyborg had also been telling his friends about his adventure in the future with Sarah and how she helped him defeat Warp.

Cyborg finished his story as he said, "Then Sarah opened the portal and I grabbed Warp and jumped through it."

The Titans all stared at him with amazed expressions as Robin speechlessly said, "Wow."

Beast Boy smiled happily as his eyes sparkled and he said, "Dude! You're saying we're going to be some of the greatest heroes ever?! Sweet!"

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "Yeah and it looks like we're all gonna be remembered for a long time."

Raven showed a small smile as she said, "It's nice to know that we'll stop every bad guy we face."

Robin looked at her cautiously as he said, "Don't be so certain Raven. The future isn't written in stone. We need to be ready for whatever comes our way."

Cyborg smiled optimistically as he said, "Yeah but don't worry Robin. As long as we do our best we can handle anything the future throws at us."

Starfire smiled cheerfully as she said, "Agreed Cyborg! You defeated Warp despite him having more sophisticated technology."

Robin smiled in agreement as he looked at Cyborg and said, "And it looks like you're okay with not always being the most advanced technology on Earth."

Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "It doesn't matter how advanced my tech is, as long as I put my heart in it there's nothing I can't do. I'll keep moving forward but I'd rather take it slow. The future can wait, I'd rather live in the present while remembering the past."

Author's note: I created Sarah and based her on both Sarah Simms from the comics and Barbara Gordon. I had a hard time creating a good character who would work before I thought of Sarah. She is not supposed to be Cyborg's love interest but I thought this would be a nice nod to her in the comics. The moral of this story is just because something is old doesn't mean it isn't good. That's how I feel about some technology too. Just because something is outdated doesn't mean you should get rid of it. Anyway, there is only one more filler episode before the two-part finale.
