Disclaimers: This is a crossover between Sailor Moon and Digimon. I do not own these two shows. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Digimon is produced by Toei Animation and Bandai of Japan that began in 1999.
"Étonnant (Amazing)," said Izumi in French.
"You can say that again," said a sweating Kōji.
After Hotaru and Naru transformed into two extremely angry Sailor Senshi, the two didn't wait to send attacks after Esmeraude. They were also trying NOT to send their attacks upon Masaru for his mistake… a mistake that could have ended in three people dead. They knew that the soul bond that the three shared was going to be a pain, but did it have to be right when the rest of the Spirit Warriors and Masaru were with them? Now, they showed the remaining Spirit Warriors and Masaru that yes, Hotaru and Naru are Sailor Senshi. Kōji and Kōichi were also respectively scared of their imōto because Hotaru showed the twins that yes, she has the power to take out an enemy quickly when extremely angered. "How's Usagi-chan," questioned Takuya.
"Still out cold," said a worried SaberLeomon, Taiki's Cutemon using her healing powers on Usagi.
"Why are you here over here anyways," questioned Daisuke, "Shouldn't you be battling against Plutomon?"
"Uh," said Takuya, "Have you SEEN AncientWisemon and the now Slayerdramon?!"
"Slayerdramon," questioned all of the Senshi-turned-Digidestined.
Takuya just pointed his digital finger towards the battle behind him. There, they could see AncientWisemon glowing a violent purple color while the newest Digimon, Slayerdramon, was glowing a violent earthly color. They could also see Plutomon being annihilated instead of the Digidestined trying to save the Digimon's life. They knew that after this battle, Plutomon will revert back into a Digiegg because they knew Plutomon will not survive the onslaught of two Digimon who were powered by planetary powers from their respective Digidestined partners. Most of the Digidestined winced at the gruesome battles while some were smart enough to bring Taiki and Taichi away from the battles and towards Usagi's prone self. "What is going on," questioned Masaru.
"Well, we'll tell you," said Motoki, "Demo I think you need to calm Naru-chan down due to your actions."
"I think you have to calm all of us females down," said a glaring Sora, "What were you THINKING when you rushed in like that?!"
"I was thinking about fighting my own battles," said Masaru with his own glare, "I never asked Usagi to rush in to protect me."
"Demo," said Mimi, "Did you ever think about how Naru feels when she always sees you rushing in without a plan of attack and just using your fists for everything?"
"Yeah," said Ruki, "Even I know to always think before doing my own thing. Others are around you. You are NOT a lone wolf in this battle!"
"And," said Sora, "Usagi saved you BECAUSE she was thinking about Naru's feelings. She knew that Naru would never like to see her onīsan hurt, especially by an enemy he has never faced before."
"They are right," said Motoki, "We've all seen you rush in without regarding others around you. As Ruki said, you are NOT a lone wolf. You are working with others to protect Earth to the best of your abilities. Do those abilities stop at you not thinking things through?"
Masaru clenched his hand into a fist. He knew that his personality wasn't the best, but he is trying. He just tends to ignore some things, especially when it came to Digimon. But, the others… They were right. He did rush in when he didn't have information on the other enemy. He also knew that he probably worried Naru with his actions. Yet, he couldn't help it. He was an impulsive onīsan, yet that impulsiveness got someone Naru loves hurt. Looking at Usagi, he could see how everyone was gaining up on him for his actions. Usagi was a very pure person who was dragged into becoming a Digidestined. He didn't know how she was a Sailor Senshi, just like with his imōto, but he was sure that he'll try to reign in on his impulsiveness. "Gomen," said Masaru who bowed before everyone.
"Just… reign in that impulsiveness, onīsan," said Naru as she de-henshin.
"I-I'll try," said Masaru, "Demo you have a lot to explain."
"Yeah," said Junpei, "Since when were you guys Senshi?!"
"It is somewhat recent development," said Jenrya nervously.
"Let's get back to my place before we even discuss this," said Motoki.
The others nodded their heads. Out in the open like this was a very bad combination for anyone to hear them. Yamato helped Taichi up, letting Taichi lean against him for support. He could see Takeru doing the same for Taiki while Motoki picked up Usagi gently in his arms. Naru, on her part, linked her arm around Masaru's as she led him and the others towards Motoki's place. "I am sorry, Naru," said Masaru.
"I know," said Naru, "I can't be mad at you since that's who you are, and I wouldn't want to change you. Demo, please just try to think about how your actions can affect others around you?"
"Alright," said Masaru, "Also so sorry about Usagi."
"That's Usa-chan for you," said Naru with a sad smile, "She'll always try to protect others despite her own safety, that's for sure."
- With The Enemies –
"Finally," exclaimed Lucemon.
Within the lair of the enemy Lucemon, a.k.a. Queen Metalia reborn, Lucemon was cackling in glee. After many attempts at gathering energy, Lucemon finally gathered enough energy for a certain moment. She, however, was unaware of the Shiten'nō watching from the shadows. Lilithmon, Barbamon, and Leviamon were startled when they heard Lucemon's proclamation as they turned their eyes on their fellow Demon Lord. "Finally what," questioned Lilithmon.
"I finally have enough energy to bring Daemon back into our realm," said Lucemon.
"Finally," said Leviamon.
"This is going to be exciting," said Barbamon.
"Maybe after this, we can find Belphemon," suggested Lilithmon.
"Or make a new Beelzemon," commented Leviamon.
Lucemon ignored her fellow Demon Lords as she closed her eyes in concentration. She was trying hard to pinpoint Daemon within the Dark Area. Using some of the energy that was harvested, Lucemon dived deep within the Dark Area. It was there that she could feel a malevolent aura from her right. Smirking to herself, Lucemon opened her now glowing blue-red eyes before moving her hands to create a black hole. The other three Demon Lords stared in surprise by how efficient Lucemon was being before they too felt the malevolent aura. It was then that a Digimon that resembles a cloaked winged humanoid stepped out from the portal. They could see the Digimon's wings being twice as big that it looked like a cape, the claws being twice as large as well. The Digimon also had more of a demonic look as s/he stretched its body. "Welcome back," said Lucemon, "Daemon."
"Ah," said the male voice of Daemon as he continued to stretch, "My brethren. It has been too long."
"Of course," said Lilithmon, "Though, might we introduce you to the one that freed you?"
"Hm," questioned Daemon, "Isn't this our brethren, Lucemon?"
"Yet, she is more than a Lucemon," said a smirking Barbamon.
"Oh," questioned Daemon curiously.
"Welcome Daemon," said Lucemon, "I may be a Lucemon and your brethren in this time, demo my actual name is Queen Metalia of the Negaverse."
Daemon looked at Lucemon in surprise. He heard stories from the Dark Area about the Negaverse and how it was defeated by goody-two-shoes called the Sailor Senshi. He could sympathize with the darkness because he too was defeated by goody-two-shoes called the Digidestined. He looked at his fellow Demon Lords and could see that Lucemon was telling the truth. She was much more than that of an ordinary Demon Lord called Lucemon. She was the ruler of an entire evil nation. "Well met, Queen Metalia," said Daemon, "I am sure that with you here with us, we'll rule the Real World soon enough."
"Oh, please," said Lucemon, "Call me Lucemon. After all, I am one of you Demon Lords."
"Quite right," said Daemon, "Now, what has happened to Beelzemon and Belphemon?"
"That Beelzemon," grumbled Lilithmon, "He got reconfigured to being a goody-two-shoe."
"Nani," questioned Daemon.
"It's true," said Leviamon in disgust, "He got himself… Digidestined partnered."
"And," said Barbamon, "We are not certain where Belphemon is."
"Then," said Daemon, "Let us go look for our brethren. We could always… persuade… Beelzemon back into our fold."
"I like the way you think, Daemon," cackled Lucemon out loud.
Within the shadows, the Shiten'nō glanced at one another before nodding to each other. They will finally cut ties in spying on the Demon Lords because it became much too dangerous. Their hime would never forgive them if they had gotten destroyed by the Demon Lords without a fight. Though, the hime would have yelled at them if they had the opportunity to disappear and save themselves but never took that opportunity. The Shiten'nō then silently disappeared into the darkness before regrouping once more within their own walls. "This is bad," said Jadeite.
"Tell me about it," bemoaned Zoisite.
"Let's gather our belongings before going to our ōji and hime," said Kunzite, "It's better to dip out than to stay."
"Ryōkai," said the other three.
- With The Good Guys –
"You guys are so cool," said Tomoki.
It took a while, but Tomoki, Junpei, Izumi, and Masaru finally got the rundown on the Sailor Senshi's story. Tomoki, as usual, was just a hyperactive teen who was gushing about how cool the others are since they became double heroes. Izumi looked at Takuya who had a worried look on his face. She now knew that Takuya was worried about Usagi as if Usagi was his otōto, but it didn't stop the hurt she kind of felt when Takuya, along with the twins and Hotaru, kept this a secret. She, however, was also kind of hurt that she wasn't called to become a Sailor Senshi as well. Masaru, on his part, was seething about how Usagi's life was like. He was now sure that he was going to do all he could to make sure Usagi has a better life, despite the Digimon roaming around. Usagi deserves it after everything that had been done to her. "So, that's why you kept on disappearing," said Masaru.
"I also… didn't want you to follow and be endangered," said Naru, "I know that you can take care of yourself. Heck, you punch Digimon with DATs, demo this is MY enemy from the past. I know that you would have done something impulsive…"
"…Just like today," said Masaru with a sigh, "I'm so going to be apologizing forever for this."
"Well, at least you know the dangers," pointed out Izzy.
"I know," said Masaru, "Thomas is going to ream me for endangering a fellow Digidestined."
"Uh," said Ken, "We technically didn't want anyone else to know."
"How come," questioned Junpei.
The other Senshi-turned-Digidestined grimaced. They didn't really want to come out and tell them that they didn't want everyone to become a Senshi. It wasn't as though they didn't trust them. Of course, they do trust their fellow Digidestined. Yet, some of them tend to gossip loudly, and they wanted to keep things under-wraps for the time being. Ruki was the only one who gave out a better explanation; though, the explanation DID make everyone cringe in remembrance or in horror. "Usagi is the one who gave us powers," said Ruki, "Demo giving out powers also DRAINS her to the point of her DYING."
"Uso (Lie)," called out Junpei in denial.
"As much as Ruki tends to be… uh… somewhat nasty to us," said Takato unsurely, "She is telling the truth."
"Hai," said Hotaru, "The Ginzuishō takes Usagi's life energy whenever she has to make a miracle happen, which in this case, is turning most of the Digidestined into Senshi. If she was to try to create all of the Digidestined as Senshi, it would take a lot of power and life energy from her."
"C'est affreux (How horrible)," murmured Izumi as she shivered in horror.
"As you can see," said Naru who ignored Izumi's mutters, "We, the original Sailor Senshi, handpicked those that we thought would become good Sailor Senshi. Since there are mostly guys as Digidestined, we tried to pick which ones would be best."
"Like for Jō for an example," said Motoki, "He has medical knowledge that we desperately needed in the past."
"Glad to be of service," said a happy Jō.
It was there and then that the rest of the Spirit Warriors and Masaru learned on why they chose certain people. Hotaru explained that she wanted Izumi to be a part of this, but because Izumi was actually in France visiting family during the times they were choosing the Digidestined, they couldn't really teleport her back to Japan without her family notifying the police for kidnapping. Izumi kind of was mollified by that explanation because it was true. Her family would have been up in arms if she disappeared within France of all places during Golden Week, despite her still being with the Digidestined girls for that ONE day. Tomoki knew that he wouldn't have made a good Senshi Knight due to his personality still having a hint of childlikeness. He could, however, dream about having cool powers like what he saw from the other Senshi Knight. "So, you chose people that could make the tough decisions, people who have the brains to come up with multiple plans, and just the mature girls so that you females wouldn't be overrun by males," summarized Junpei.
"We also thought long and hard to narrow it mostly down because as we said before," said Hotaru, "Usagi will die if she uses a lot of her life energy."
"I was just a special case," piped up Yuu.
"How are YOU a special case," questioned Masaru in exasperation, "You were probably brought in because you too had the brains to come up with multiple plans."
"Masaru's not wrong," said Taiki with a smirk, "Did you forget how you were a commander of your own right in our Digital World?"
Yuu flushed outwardly while he preened inwardly at Taiki's words. Though, when Taiki spoke up, every pair of eyes turned towards Taiki who was smirking at Yuu. Taichi was also finally feeling better as he gave a thumbs-up to his fellow Digidestined, indicating that he was alright. His Agumon was asking over and over if he really was alright, though. Usagi, on her part, was now leaning against Taichi's side, her eyes still closed. Even though the others said that she was just resting, the Ginzuishō healing whatever Cutemon could not heal, everyone was still worried about Usagi, especially a still guilty Masaru. "You guys alright," questioned Ken.
"We're fine," said Taichi, "We weren't expecting that soul bond thing to be this strong."
"True," said Motoki with a frown, "It should have been a year or so for the dark magic to inflict that kind of pain."
"Really," asked Takato, "Could it be because they grew up around each other?"
"I… am unsure, demo that could be it," said Motoki, "Good job on that idea, otōto."
Before Takato could refute the comment like he always does, a black portal appeared in the middle of the room. All of the Digimon present was up and in front of their respective partners, some of them even going in front of the Spirit Warriors. Those that are Sailor Senshi were grimacing because they were sure Motoki had a defense against Negaverse evilness around his building. Solarmon was the one that commented that it could be the Shiten'nō before Masaru loudly asked, "Who are the Shiten'nō?!"
"We," said Kunzite who stepped out of the portal with bags and his other fellow guardians, "Are the Shiten'nō, guardians and protectors to Solar-ōji."
"We are also here to move in with Solar-ōji," piped up Jadeite.
"I thought you guys were spying on the Demon Lords for us," said AncientWisemon.
"We were," said Nephrite who grimaced, "Until Queen Metalia, a.k.a. Lucemon, brought back Daemon from the Dark Area."
"NANI," shouted everyone.
AN: Yup! Masaru is stewing from his mistakes, but he's redeemable. (¬‿¬) Just have to have someone there to stop his impulsiveness. ( 。_。) Also! Daemon is back due to Lucemon. So, there's that particular bad news. (︶︹︺) At least, the fanfic is going somewhere? I hope… ( Ĭ ^ Ĭ ) Anyways! Happy reading and see ya laters! |・ω・`)
