[Wendy looks into her camera phone, using the selfie to make some funny faces before turning the camera to the three boys in front of her: Nate, Lee, and Thompson as they walk around the foggy forest of Scuttlebutt Island.]

Thompson: (nervously) So…why are we here again?

Lee: Some people saw some creature lurking around the island while fishing.

Wendy: (offscreen) And it isn't McGucket since he gained back his sanity and got all rich. His son even said that he didn't notice anyone heading for the island.

Thompson: Isn't this…I don't know, something that Dipper would do?

Lee: And that's what makes it awesome!

[Lee and Nate high fives.]

Nate: Little dude is gonna be stoked by what we find! Right, Wendy?

Wendy: (offscreen) I bet.

Thompson: If we find anything in this fog.

[Nate lightly punches Lee's arm.]

Nate: Dude, what if it's one of those reptile people. Like the ones that supposedly run the government?

Lee: Maybe it's one of those government guys that appeared a few months back.

Thompson: Then let's turn back. If it is someone from the government, then we probably shouldn't be here.

Wendy: (offscreen) Come on, Thompson. You know Nate and Lee are just fooling around. Besides, those government guys aren't a problem anymore thanks to Doc.

Thompson: (confused) Who's Doc?

Wendy: (offscreen) Mr. Pines' twin bro. Guy has a lot of PHDs.

[The teens stumble across what looks like some sort of effigy. It was 20 feet tall and was made to look like some kind of lizard.]

Lee: Whoaaaa…

Nate: Maybe it is a lizard person.

Thompson: Yep. I've seen enough. Time to go.

[Thompson turns to leave but is stopped by Wendy.]

Wendy: (offscreen) Not so fast, Thompson. I need you to hold my phone for me, 'kay?

[Thompson whines pitifully and takes the phone. He aims the camera at Wendy, who wielded what looked like a reinforced ax. With a single swing, Wendy used the ax to chop off a portion of the effigy's leg and the wooden structure tumbled down, revealing a pathway behind it.]

Wendy: Shall we?

Nate & Lee: Wendy, Wendy, Wen–

[Some rustling from nearby bushes. Camera quickly pans to the bush.]

Thompson: (offscreen) We're dead! We're so dead! We've angered their lizard god and now they'll skin us for our skin for them to wear!

[From the rustling bushes, a small red-magenta frog with what looks like a tuff of orangey hair on its head jumped into view. It ribbited.]

Nate: (to Thompson) Careful. It can probably smell fear.

Lee: Awww. It's actually kinda cute.

Wendy: See Thompson? There's nothing to worry—

[Something else emerges from the bushes, behind the little frog.]

[Standing before them is a tall creature, taller than them, covered in leaves.]

[The screen shakes as Thompson trembles in fear.]

Thompson: (to The Thing; scared) Um…Hi?

[The thing's eyes glow ominously.]

[The teens screech in terror as the thing lunges after them.]

[Wendy got her phone back and is now holding it in a way that the lens is aiming at the boys running behind her. The teens are being chased by the thing as it leaped through the trees after them.]

Thompson: (panicking) Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!

Nate: Where's the boat?!

Wendy: Just down this way! Hurry!

The Thing: (shouting) WMXA IOL HAHT UW GMAR, RDY Q BU A GADK NFTLOI! XM GPC WIEW AW CM AS NT, IMXIRE FWL KMIN IZ NLTMWW!

Lee: What is it saying?!

Nate: Heck should I know?! Just keep running!

Thompson: It's getting closer!

[The teens scream in terror as the thing leaped towards them.]

[The teens hooted as they rowed back to the main shore, none worse for wear, except for frazzled nerves, and getting off on adrenaline high.]

Nate: Maaan…that was awesome!

Lee: Is this what the Pines' deal with on a daily basis?

Wendy: Pretty much.

[She held out a reinforced bat and with the press of a button, the bat turned into an ax.]

Thompson: I do not want to do that again. Please?

Lee: Yeah. Let's leave it to Dipper and his family. They're more experts on this than we are.

Wendy: You hear that, dude? It's just not the same without you. Can't wait to see you again!

Ford - [Quite interesting. It doesn't appear to be the mothman or a kill billy. I'll take a mental note on this for when we come to visit.]

Stan - [I'm more curious about that ax-bat thing.]

Soos - [Isn't it so cool, Mr. Pines? McGucket made it.]

Mabel - [That's weird. Dipper hasn't typed yet. Maybe he hasn't seen this?]
