I studied DC and Marvel Magic for weeks, I was mostly inspired by Morgan Lefay from from series, Madylen Pryor the Goblin Queen from Marvel... I found so many ideas, and this is what I made.

If Constantine could learn from books, then there are ways beyond getting someone we've seen to help. I just know it.

The next spell Cord ever cast was a fire spell. "Incenida." He muttered, lighting a barrel for warmth. Living on the streets, this was a need, and boy did he not regret learning it. After that he learned how to move things with his mind, levitating small objects, picking locks to steal food and so on. A healing spell came afterward, to ease his pain from constantly walking in bad shoes, his muscle pain and the strain and stress of living in the streets. A light spell, Lux, came after that. A dozen other minor spells, hat tricks really, came after that. He felt the part of a being a witch in his bones, and boy did it make him feel good.

However, his favorite spell was "Movere Cor!" The heart moving spell, that swayed the hearts of others to his will. Taking less power than one would imagine, he got free shoes, clothes and food with that spell. Hell, by the end of his first summer as a Hedge witch, he got an apartment with free utilities. After learning wards, he layered protective magic over his home, all to ensure his own peace in life.

Reading auras was the hardest thing he had to learn, by miles. People were complex, each with something that made it hard to read everyone. He had to adapt for every person he read, for each soul was vastly different. However, by the time his first year passed, he was rather good at that.

Eventually, life settled down, and he found himself connected online, searching out local people like him. He wanted to know more, to learn more of the impossible. To make allies, to get more magic, make friends. All things that he was lacking at that moment.

It was just a nine months after Star Labs Particle accelerator exploded that he found something interesting... a blog, a note by one Barry Allen. The boy was everywhere, looking for answers about the impossible. He spoke of a yellow blur that killed his mother, framing his father. Barry had notes on countless blogs, comments, conversations and more. He was doing incredibly detailed research.

Cord knew he had to meet him, so after finding out he was working as a CSI tech in his home town of Central City, he took a taxi and moved right on down, to visit the boy, hoping to connect...
