Yaoyorozu and Hagakure looked utterly surprise as mushrooms continued sprouting all over their bodies. They struggled to pluck the mushrooms off on their bodies.
Then, an infestation of mushrooms began emergent across the entire area.
In the air, Tokoyami flew over the mushroom-covered battlefield with Aoyama.
Kinoko began jetting her spray bottles at the mushrooms, causing them to grow in an increasing rate.
Class 1-A students looked slightly unsettled at the sight of growing mushrooms on the monitor screen.
"Uh, they've got shrooms growing on their bodies?" Mineta said, feeling disturbingly scared. "This is like a serious horror movie!"
"Don't worry, the fungus up and disappears in two-or three-hours tops." Yosetsu assured. "Your teammates'll be fine, which is why she doesn't hold anything back."
Then, a large number of mushrooms began sprouting on the screen.
"Look, they're growing over the camera!" Uraraka exclaimed.
"Gag." Jiro shivered with a disgusted expression.
While Yaoyorozu and Hagakure focused the mushrooms on their bodies, Shihai merged into the body of a black mushroom. After laughing, he retreated away from the Class A girls.
Hagakure frustratingly tried scraping off the mushrooms, but more of them kept growing back. Yaoyorozu, on the other hand, silently swiped the mushrooms off of her limbs.
Then suddenly, an unknown voice shouted out various sound effects in the depths of the large pipe maze. Huge, sturdy letters materialized and came crashing through the area at an alarming rate, hurdling towards the Team 1-A's location and separating them from one another as a wall.
Another huge, sturdy letter materialized and slammed through the area. This time, Yaoyorozu and Hagakure are completely separated from each other. Not even Aoyama's navel laser can scratch through the text.
Manga materialized the onomatopoeia "DAMP" in the air, making it fly straight towards Hagakure. The onomatopoeia "DAMP" turned into a humidifier, releasing moisture all over the mushrooms and making them grow even faster. Hagakure screamed and began running away.
Even the mushrooms began to grow on Tokoyami and Aoyama in the air.
Vlad King was pleased for his team's effort on the monitor screen.
"Komori and Fukidashi came to Kuroiro's rescue. Now, attacking in waves, they're giving Class A's team a hard time from a distance. My kids are showing their superior strength!" Vlad King cheered.
That earned annoyance from some of the members of Class 1-A.
"Again with the biased commentary!" Mina shouted.
"Yeah, stop!" Mineta, Shoto, Aisha, Uraraka, and Jiro concurred.
"Hey, girls, check out the arena." Selene said to Diana, Aisha, and Luna.
"This was their plan from the start." Luna said. "Someone from Class B used their word wall to separate Yaoyorozu from the others. Because she's the team strategist, her teammates are left to deal with the rest of Class B without her idea of a plan."
Yaoyorozu looked around to find herself separated from the rest of her team.
But before she could move ahead, Kendo jumped at her from above. She enlarged her fist to strike a punch, but Yaoyorozu quickly spun around and created a tungsten shield to block Kendo's attack.
Unfortunately, Kendo's increasing power easily crushed Yaoyorozu's tungsten shield, knocking the Class A vice class representative backwards to the ground.
Kendo landed on the ground with a smirk. As she charged forward, Yaoyorozu created three dense shields from her body as protection. Kendo delivered a rapid barrage of enlarged fists.
"She designed a situation where she's got a total advantage." Tetsutetsu cheered happily as he pumped his fist in the air. "Her plan was right on the money! What did I say? Our girl is smart and decisive even when she's under pressure! That's our brilliant rep Kendo for ya!"
"I'm not convinced this was the smartest move on her part." Shoto stated.
"Huh?" Tetsutetsu asked in confusion.
"If Yaoyorozu was separated because they feared her planning, then they might've misjudged her." Shoto explained.
"Huh?!" Tetsutetsu asked again.
"If they were so worried about Yaoyorozu, then their team should've tried to disrupt her strategy from the very start." Shoto added. "This predicament is still well within what she could have anticipated. And since it's within her expectations, she should be able to create a path that will lead her to victory." His eyes narrowed with determination. "This is what Momo Yaoyorozu excels at."
Yaoyorozu kept holding Kendo back as long as she could. Kendo finally knocked away Yaoyorozu's last shield and prepared to deal the final blow. But Kendo's face quickly stunned when Yaoyorozu finally made a move. With a confident smile, Yaoyorozu sprouted a large cannon out of her abdomen.
In another area, Tokoyami and Aoyama began searching for Yaoyorozu and Hagakure nor Team 1-B around the battlefield, but there was no sign of them.
Shihai suddenly popped out right in front of them underneath the shadow of the pipe and grabbed Aoyama before dragging him away again. Tokoyami quickly turned around and chased after them. But Kinoko's mushrooms began sprouting on Tokoyami's face. Tokoyami pulled the mushrooms off of his face, making it hard for him to continue his chase after Shihai. Manga materialized the bouncy onomatopoeia "BOING" in the air, bouncing and slamming right towards Tokoyami with great force that sent him flying away and crashed into the ground.
As Tokoyami got up off the ground, he suddenly found himself standing next to Hagakure, whose entire body was covered in mushrooms from head to toe. Tokoyami then began brushing the mushrooms off of Hagakure body, unaware that Shihai tied Aoyama up to the pipe.
Kendo jumped back as Yaoyorozu aimed the cannon in Kendo's direction.
"Is she insane?" Tetsutetsu exclaimed. "Who's she trying to kill with that?"
"Again, huh? That girl really likes her cannons." Kaibara commented with an unamused face.
"That looks like it packs a big punch." Mineta said to Izuku.
"Hold on." Izuku said.
However, Yaoyorozu's cannon wasn't aiming at Kendo. She swung her cannon towards Manga's gigantic wall of onomatopoeia.
Kendo's eyes widened in shock. She quickly lunged forward and activated her Quirk to strike Yaoyorozu with both enlarged hands. That move made Yaoyorozu fire a strange looking ammunition over the wall at the moment of impact. Kendo turned to the sight of the ammunition flying over the wall, making her eyes widen in shock at the misdirection.
Then, Yaoyorozu's chest began glowing again. She created a long rope that moved in towards the distracted Kendo.
At the same time, Tokoyami and Hagakure heard an explosion coming from the other side of the wall. They looked up to see a pink bag that marked "Yaoyorozu's Lucky Bag" flying towards their direction in the air. Tokoyami carried Hagakure and flew up to catch the bag in Dark Shadow's hands.
After Kinoko and Shihai regrouped, Tokoyami began flying straight towards them through the depths of large pipes. This time, he wore custom-made thermal goggles on his face that came from the bag produced by Yaoyorozu. With the goggles, Tokoyami has an easier time on locating Team 1-B in the darkness.
Manga hid behind some pipes and saw Tokoyami flying past him towards his teammates' location at full speed. But before he could alert Kinoko and Shihai or make a move, Hagakure's voice startled him. Since Hagakure rid all the mushrooms off her body with Yaoyorozu's ethanol spray, Manga frantically spun around and searched for Hagakure. Hagakure then started punching and kicking Manga nonstop since Manga himself couldn't defend himself against someone unseen.
Tokoyami continued flying towards Kinoko and Shihai. As he closed the distance with them, he equipped Dark Shadow around his head and created two large shadow claws around his hands. At blinding speed, he quickly attacked Kinoko and Shihai at the same time.
Tokoyami took an opportunity to remove his cloak and sent it directly over Shihai, trapping him inside with no way out. Dark Shadow, on the other hand, restrained Kinoko by wrapping himself around her body.
Luna and her friends looked at the monitor screen with smiles.
"Hell yeah!" Diana cheered. "Well done, Tokoyami!"
"Whoa, dang, he caught two enemies!" Mineta exclaimed with a smile. "He's turned the tables!"
"They couldn't have done it without Yao-momo's items!" Jiro said.
"Hagakure's doing awesome too." Izuku added. "If they keep going like this, they can win it in four-to-one."
Tokoyami and Dark Shadow prepared to take Kinoko and Shihai to their jail cells.
Then suddenly, Tokoyami started coughing unexpectedly hard.
With a smile, Kinoko admitted that she sprouted a splitgill mushroom inside Tokoyami's lungs. With Tokoyami asphyxiating, Dark Shadow released Kinoko from his grasp and headed over to check on him.
At the same time, Hagakure continued punching and kicking Manga nonstop until Kendo's enlarged hand suddenly appeared and grabbed her, stopping her from attacking her teammate. Kendo herself was ensnared by ropes sprouting out of Yaoyorozu's body, while an unconscious Yaoyorozu gripped to her cannon.
After that, Team 1-B successfully dragged all four defeated Class A students to their jail cell.
The second Joint Training match was concluded. On the monitoring screen, Class B had won the match with a perfect 4-0 victory.
"Luck has nothing to do with it!" Tetsutetsu cheered. "It was all Kendo's plan! All right!"
"Yaoyorozu, I hope you don't get discouraged by this result." Shoto muttered.
From afar, Midnight began gushing passionately at Momo's new leadership skills.
"Our Creati will grow into a top-class leader one day." Midnight said. "All these 'Plus Ultra' moments are oh-so stimulating."
Izuku, Luna, and All Might quietly praised their Class 1-A team for their improvements over the school year.
They might've lost, but Tokoyami got to use his new move, and Yaoyorozu never stopped looking ahead through the match. Izuku thought with a smile.
It's obvious that everyone has improved. There's no doubt about it. Luna beamed.
With every step, these kids get closer to embodying what they want to be in the future. All Might grinned.

"Second match! Class B nabs a crushing victory with a score of four-nothing!" Vlad King announced proudly. "Words can't describe how impressive this showing was!"
"This is getting seriously ridiculous!" Mina shouted in annoyance as she was holding up the same sign in her hands.
"Seriously!" Mineta, Shoto, Uraraka, and Jiro concurred as they held a long sign together in their hands.
"I'm so proud of you!" Vlad King yelled, ignoring the opposing Class A students.
