Meanwhile, in Central City, Neptune and Wally arrived with Barry where they were to collect samples of evidence. To their dismay and shock, there were green split of ooze.
"Barry, glad you can make it this time." Said the Captain of Police, Darryl Frye. He then looks over the two boys joining Barry in the investigation. "Are these the two boys that applied for an internship?" Asked Frye.
"Yes, and we're just here to see if any samples are left. We got a call, they said there were strange leakages of the chemicals coming from the sewers below.
"Dude, gross." Neptune shuddered.
"What, scared of a sewage investigation?" Wally taunted.
"What, no way."
"You two wait here." Said Barry, he was asked to accompany two officers to climb down the ladder of the sewers. Wally and Neptune stood behind the police tape.
Neptune saw some of the puddles of the spilt serum all over the alley. Then he has flashbacks of the time he went to Dr. Merlot's lab.
"The cells in the Grimm increases."
"The biology of the Grimm has been proven to be useful."
"My mom has case files about this guy before."
Neptune shook his head. Palming his forehead in response to the headaches in those flashbacks. Wally noticed that again.
"Um, you don't look well." Wally asked. Despite his dislike for the blue-haired boy, he does have concern. Neptune tried to play it cool to piece things together.
"Yeah, I'm cool. I'm cool." Then they heard footsteps from behind. It was Weiss.
"Weiss, what's up?" Asked Neptune.
"My father will be holding a gala tonight, I thought this way we can meet there for important reasons." Said Weiss. Wally took this chance to annoy Neptune a little by flirting with the girl standing in front of them.
"Wally West, pleasure to meet you." Wally winked as he just barged in between the two.
"Weiss Schnee. But we're not here for shenanigans." Weiss just bluntly brush it off and just gave him a hand shake. "You reminded me of a blonde boy who tried to swoon me, but it didn't work." Said Weiss. Wally gawked at what she just said.
Neptune smirked at Wally's reaction. "Sorry about my new friend. So what about the Gala?"
"From what I heard from my father is that they are doing a collaboration of LexCorp for new robots." Weiss concludes.
"Okay, either that's cool, or it sounded like it was impending doom." Wally said, taking a bite of a granola bar. "You know, if you found it suspicious, I can get my aunt to report this one." Wally suggested.
"It's serious. I think I will have to rely on you two in the investigation. I'll send you both the invitation to the gala while I keep my father occupied. It will be held in S.T.A.R Labs." Weiss said.
"Alright. Meet ya there, Snow Angel." Neptune winked at Weiss, making her blush at the sight of his face. Wally was shocked to see Neptune this good with flirting that seemed to have an effect.
What does this guy have that I don't?"
Arriving to Central City, Jaune, Ruby, Donna and Kaldur heard about the activity in the scene. Seeing some of the green ooze spilt in other cafes, banks and schools through faucets.
"I just remembered something. I wasn't with my adoptive parents to begin with. In the previous reality, I was originally abducted from the home of the Staceys at the hands of kidnappers who planned to sell me for... lab experiments for biological purposes of human superpowers." Donna recalled the vivid flashbacks from when she is at the age of 2.
Horrible memories of her abductors (an unknown man and woman) who took her to an apartment and pass off as their own child. She doesn't recall much. But in her previous life, after hearing of her legal adoptive parents, and reunited with her adoptive father, Carl Stacey, who welcomed her as his real daughter, regardless of blood. In the new reality, Donna was raised by the Staceys, which is the life she could've have if anything can be different in the last. Having both parents at her side. But at what cost?
"But when a fire was spread in an apartment room, the abductors who the bystanders thought were my parents, were killed in a rubble of a ceiling. I could've died if it weren't for my older sister."
Ruby and Jaune listened as Donna recounts her life prior to her arrival to Themyscira. Ruby felt pain to hear of Donna's life that almost ended because of selfish people that tried to sell her for experiments. Beings that done that to a human being is considered inhumane. Jaune also thought the same.
"It must be hard to learn about the past. People who would to do cruel things to kids, and ruins their lives." Ruby adds.
"Your sister?" Jaune asked.
"Not biologically. But the truth is, Diana is known as Wonder Woman. Crown Princess of Themyscira, a member of the Justice League, a group of defenders dedicated to represent all worlds, from sea, land and sky." Donna explained.
"Wow. In other words, Superheroes?" Jaune gasped in amazement.
"You can call it that." Said Donna. "After Diana took me in, I became her sister, and my mother, Queen Hippolyta the leader of the Amazons, raised me as her daughter. The Amazons trained me day and night. From that day, I also became their princess. And when I was ready, my sister named me her protege, I became Wonder Girl." Donna explained her story.
"Wow, so cool! I can't believe you're a princess of warriors!" Ruby and Jaune went starry eye to hear what other worlds can have. Kaldur remained silent as he listens. But decided to add in the statements. "The Justice League were first formed when they defeated Starro the Conquerer. At first, they were rivals, but in the end, they fought as one. That's how the Justice League is formed."
"Double cool!" Ruby screamed.
Donna still felt left behind. She found out to be human, not an Amazon. Even as a princess, Donna thinks that title isn't the privilege she deserved. Even if she deserves the title, she still felt powerless.
Ruby then felt taken aback for reacting a bit too much. "Um, sorry I overreacted."
"No, don't apologize. I'll be honest, I am amazed of how the aura manifest your peers in your world. And Jaune, I have something for you." Donna then takes out her tennis bag she uses for tennis practice. Opens it and reveals the Arc Family sword that was held on the museum.
Jaune felt stunned. But in a way, thankful. He can't get the sword without stealing it. Or how to obtain it without doing so. "H-how? Did you get this? It was impossible to take it from the museum. I mean..."
"My father knows the curator. So he makes an exception." Donna assured Jaune. Since she and her adoptive father, Carl share a love for history.
"Remind me to thank your dad for this later." Jaune said as he takes it from Donna.
In S.T.A.R Labs, there is a Gala held, hosted by the notorious Lex Luthor, alongside Jacques Schnee, who in this world is Gotham City's tech dynasty for robotics and weapons for militia.
Dick, Sun and Zatanna were dressed for the occasion and makes sure they print out fake invitations. Sun is not pleased that he has to wear a full tuxedo for this. And the fact that he has to hide his tail beneath. This is an embarrassment for his pride.
"This sucks, I am not one of those rich snobs and here I am wearing this neck trap!" Sun complains.
"Look, it's either this or we're stuck here forever." Dick reminded him.
Then he realized something. "Wait, if those wealthy folks are here, then it means the Ice Queen has to be here too!"
"Ice Queen?" Zatanna blinks.
"A sort-of friend of mine. It's a long story. It's a nickname I used for her spoiled personality and complaints." Zatanna and Dick tried to contain their laughter before regaining their senses.
Weiss is at the back entrance of S.T.A.R Labs, with her hair down, wearing a navy blue dress with the skirt that reaches down her ankles, and high heels of the same color. She awaits Neptune to find any evidence. She cannot stand her own father.
A knock at the door is heard. Weiss turned around and opens the door. "Perfect timing, I was wondering when..." Neptune is wearing a tux, but Weiss did not expect to gasp as she stood stunned. He looks very handsome. Weiss cannot describe how much he has stolen her heart.
Neptune stood. Concern for her reaction. "Um, is there something wrong with the outfit?" Weiss snapped out of the trance, shaking her head. "No, no! You look great, this way my dad cannot suspect a thing." Weiss assured.
"Okay, Neptune. Since you're already in a tux and suit. He cannot know who your mother is. While we infiltrate the lab, you're gonna have to pretend you're my assistant, Neptune Sky, when we meet my father in the..."
"Hey, what about me?" Wally showed up, also in a tux and suit. Weiss is not pleased to see the flirty redhead in on their case.
"Oh, right. I forgot I had invited you on this case. Maybe I will have to fill you in on this one. I heard from my father that while doing a collaboration, I suspected him and Lex Luthor, the CEO of LexCorp, that they were experimenting on teenagers for engineering purposes." Weiss explained.
"Why would they want a load of kids like us?" Wally asked.
"That's what I was wondering." Weiss replied. Neptune then takes off his reading glasses, showing his true face. Serious and acts more like a detective.
"For you, Snow Angel. I got your back." Neptune said sweetly to her. Weiss blushed as he takes his hand to kiss it, like a true gentleman. Wally was taken aback seeing his, he wasn't sure how the blue-haired boy kept his cool. And wished he had that kind of cool.
"This way." Weiss leads the two boys through the hall. They passed the security guard who tried to stop those boys out of suspicion. "Those two are with me." Weiss explained to the guard.
"Apologies, Miss Schnee. Carry on." The guard replied. And passed them. Wally then nudged at Neptune for some advise. "Dude, you got to teach me how you do it." Wally said.
"What?" Neptune blinked.
"You know. About how you do that kind of cool." Wally replied.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Before, you treated me like I was some sort of rival." Neptune replied, half-jokingly.
"Dude, I just got through a recent break-up with a girl I was going out with." Wally sighs.
"That quick?" Neptune raised an eyebrow. "Maybe the problem is, she might have her reasons."
"What makes you say that?" Wally scoffed. "Well, at least something fun did come out of this." He finished.
"We're here." Weiss cuts them off as she leads them to the main hall, near the entrance of S.T.A.R Labs. It was like in the spy movies when two characters, a female bounty hunter and a male bounty hunter, were assigned to destroy each other. But in the end, they fell in love.
"Wow, this is like the spy movie I have seen when I was a kid." Wally commented.
"Just whatever you do... Wallace was it? Do not say anything that might throw you off the cover. Cause then my dad would feed us to the sharks." Weiss reminded him not to blow the cover. By addressing him by his real name.
The last part she said got Wally taken aback. Wondering what kind of person Weiss' father truly is. And did not want to think of what will he do next if he finds out. But then memories he has never seen before came back to him.
"Wallman, huh? I really love the outfit."
"I think it just came out of a movie of a ninja girl being ordered by her dad to kill her ninja boyfriend from another ninja clan."
"Enough! You never believed any of that and pretended to do so to impress Megan!"
For some reason, Wally knew this girl from the vision. But he wished he remember her name and why she is never here now. Blonde, fierce. That's the kind of girl Wally would actually go out with.
They approached the center. They were greeted by a man with white hair and ice-blue eyes, similar to Weiss, wearing a white tux with a metallic snowflake emblem. And talking with him is a bald man with green eyes.
"Isn't that Lex Luthor? The CEO of LexCorp?" Asked Wally.
"No kidding." Neptune replied. Next to Lex Luthor is a girl around 16, orange hair and green eyes, and the expression similar to Lex. Must be a relative. The man with white hair then turned to the three.
"Ah, Weiss. I see you arrived just in time. And the fact you also invited some guest." While Jacques is expressing pleasantries to mask his dismay of those unknown to him. Weiss manages to cover them.
"Oh, these two. I invited them. You see, this is Neptune Sky." Weiss introduced him as an assistant. "My assistant. And if you ask he is the top of the class to keep count of the stock piles on the tech. Plus he can hack a lot of computer to search for info on our rival companies." Then Weiss turned to Wally.
"And this is Wallace West, he's here for an interview under the internship of his aunt, Iris West." Weiss lied. The mention of his aunt's name got Wally to gasp. "What?!" Before Wally can protest, Weiss continues.
"I see. But before you can take care of the rest, Weiss. I would like you to meet Mr. Lex Luthor and his younger sister, Lena." Weiss shook hands with the Luthors (though secretly displeased with more people who can cooperate with her father for personal gain).
"A pleasure, Mr. Luthor. And to your sister as well." Weiss greets.
"Your father has told me of your accomplishments to this company." Said Lex as unbeknownst to him, Lena was eyeing suspiciously on Wally, who was frightened at her own glare that was directly at him.
Wally turned to Neptune and whispered, "Dude, Lex's sister, she's staring at me, and it's creepying me out." He whimpered as if a thousand nightmares can be shot from her daggered eyes.
"I bet that run in the Luthors I guess."
"Dude, the Luthors are the definition of evil." Wally replied before they stop talking. Weiss the leans to Wally anf passed him the map of the entire lab. "Head there and see what you can find. I can't excuse myself from my father's presense." Weiss ordered him as she walks towards Neptune as the classic music was playing. The instrumebtal version of the song, Careless Whisper.
Weiss held onto Neptune's arm, he felt flustered as he wasn't ready for what happens next. "Weiss, what are you doing?" Neptune asked.
"Dance with me." Weiss replied. Neptune jolted at the thought of dancing.
"Um, Weiss. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this, but I'm not a good dancer." Neptune confessed. He was afraid that she would be disappointed in him for not being perfect enough to help her. But instead, Weiss took his hand. "Follow my lead." Weiss whispered.
Weiss pulled Neptune into the dancefloor. As they stepped in the middle. Weiss takes his hands and places them on her waist. Neptune blushes as she then held onto his shoulders. He felt nervous, but at the same time, he felt comfortable around Weiss.
"Just follow my movements slowly." Weiss gently advised, whispering to Neptune's ear. They then began to take their steps, swaying with each other. "Just feel the music and relax, Neptune." Weiss instructed him.
It was enough for Weiss to keep Neptune comfortable of the situation to keep Jacques distracted while Wally has an ID with him to sneak into the lab.
Jacques sees how Weiss had Neptune closer to her. And was displeased that she was dancing with her "assistant on trial."
"Weiss, I don't think your dad is happy about this." Neptune said to Weiss, quietly.
"Sorry, I just want Dad to know he can't control me forever." Though Neptune is reluectant to make others mad. But what amazes him was that Weiss has the will to fight. "And also, there's no one else I would rather dance with other than you." Weiss whispered to him. Neptune is surprised to hear such words that feels warm to him.
Neptune accepts this and pulled her closer to himself. Weiss felt more comfortable with his touch and warmth. Neptune feels the music, the soft tune seeping through his ears. Like the sea of notes. Now he can dance with the girl he loves. For some reason, he feels more complete with her.
He feels like his fears are going away being close to her. As if Neptune and Weiss became one with this dance. And will never dance again without her in his world. Weiss is his entire world. And would give anything to be with her. The music was very swooning that he had almost forgotten about the mission. He checked himself to make sure he remembers. But then as he spins with Weiss, he saw someone familiar among the crowd, waving at him.
"Sun?" Neptune blinked.
"You saw him, Neptune?" Weiss asked. But before Neotune can answer, the lights went out as the power went off. Weiss and Neptune still hold onto each other while trying to process of what is going on.
"I am surprised you got invited to the S.T.A.R Labs gala somehow." Said Ruby as she and the other were dressed for sneaking in. Donna wears a beautiful lavender dress with a sash over her waist.
Jauen and Kaldur were in tuxes. Ruby on the other hand wasn't used to fancy situations. Such as wearing heels. But Donna helps her buy low flats. So it's fair.
"I am a champion fencer in the academy, so my name is usually known in the media. I also develope honor rolls. So, it's enough that I get here." Donna explains. That story reminds Jaune of Pyrrha.
"I want you to be that guy, Jaune."
"Everyone else thinks I'm just too good for anyone."
"To be honest, that cereal isn't healthy."
Donna's voice, her kindness and her conflicted personality, it all reminded him of Pyrrha. The symbol of perfection that lies a soul that wants to be herself.
Dick emerged from a shadow portal thay Zatanna used one of her spells for. After phasing from the floors, theu arrived at the hallway where theu passed security.
"Okay, we're in. Sun will have to keep an eye on the guests along with familiar friends he might run into. Unbeknownst to them, Wally is at the opposite hallway, passing the security with the pass Weiss had given him.
Dick used an ipad he stole from one of the socialites. And uses it to patch through the cameras that might indicate Lex's next move.
"If Lex is involved in another one of those schemes of biological experiments, that is a red flag." Dick stated.
"For a man of science and tech, I am not sure if he is the kind to use some kind of magic. But knowing he is part of the Light and allied with Klarion. It would've make sense." Zatanna noted.
Dick managed to show 12 of the screens of the security cameras and patched through the main elevator. "Got it. Hold up, isn't that Lena Luthor?" Dick asked.
"Who now?"
"Lex's younger sister and the heir apparent of LexCorp. Working as Lex's personal secretary and assistant, that is a genius that rivals that of her older brother. And winner of the 2005-8 of the Robotics and Biochemistry contests." Dick explains searching files of Lena's history.
Lena was seen on screen heading towards the west section of the room. For some reason, her brother wasn't around to accompany her. "Okay, why would she go around the lab alone?"
What caught their eyes was when Lena heads to the back of the room and uses her pass to let in a cybernetic-eyed man in a lab coat. "Whoa, who is he?" Zatanna asked.
"Don't know, but he's not one of the scientists in S.T.A.R Labs." Dick confirmed after searching through IDs pictures and files of employees of S.T.A.R Labs. "Not that anyone has seen before."
"Why would Lena Luthor let in a stranger inside one of the high-ranking facilities?" Zatanna pondered.
"Don't know. But I bet it was her who was plotting something. Also according to the list, Lena is currently on an internship in the facility. Which is how she got the pass for the entrances."
"Wait, if she is an intern, she can't be allowdd in some restricted labs." Zatanna points out.
"Lena is part of the Luthor Household, so I guess Lex somehow managed to pull a few strings.
Wally then proceeded to follow Lena around, after seeing her coming out of tbe elevator. He hid fro one wall after the other and sees her using a pass to open the back door.
"Access, granted. Recognized: Luthor Lena, Sector Number, 1-02."
Emerging from the exit door, is an old lan with a cybernetic eyes with a goatee. Wearing a lab coat. "Mr. Merlot. I presumed?" Lena asked.
"Yes, it's a pleasure Miss Luthor. Since we are all having the same goal and mind, care for a little talk before we get to the party?" Lena then turned to lead Merlot.
"Right this way, sir. Our client might be waiting for us." Lena continued. Her brother then came towards Lena and thanked her. "Ah, Lena, my dearest sister. Thank you for bringin in our new associate with you to this night." Lex said to his sister.
"I just can't help but look forward to the new project, dear brother." Lena said to her older brother like a mix of a mapulative, and a sweet-faced sister. Much to Wally's scarce while listening from another side of the wall.

Lex Luthor and Dr. Merlot are now working together. And let's just say that Lena (Lex's sister) was aware of her own brother's true colors, but puts her devotion with assisting him. But were in contact with a secret client.
Weiss, Neptune and Wally sneak into the gala to find the secret project and stop it once and for all. In this realm, Weiss is an heiress of Schnee Tech, and wasn't happy when Jacques was in the middle of illegal biological experiments for unknown reasons.
At the same time, Sun, Dick and Zatanna also snuck in. Sun is on watch while the Boy Wonder and the Magician were sneaking in, unaware that Wally is there.
We get a moment between Weiss and Neptune dancing in a romantic moment. There Neptune experience the meaning of the dance, as he and Weiss felt like never letting go of each other.
Donna, Kaldur, Ruby and Jaune also infiltrate S.T.A.R Labs due to Donna having won championships in fencing and academic achievements that she got invited as a guest in the gala.
