In the viewing area, Class 1-A and Class 1-B stared up at the monitoring screen. Team 1-A and Team 1-B began walking to their starting positions. Thanks to the flawless victory from Katsuki's team in the fourth round, Class 1-A currently had two wins, one loss, and a draw. Class 1-B, on the other hand, still had one win, two losses, and a draw.
Right now, everyone began watching Team 1-A running forward on the monitoring screen, especially the five pro heroes.
Then, out of nowhere, the sound of All Might's "A phone call is here!" ringtone started ringing. Tarot Chariot, Midnight, Aiwaza, and Vlad King turned their heads to All Might.
"Oh, excuse me." All Might spoke as he reached down in his pocket.
"When're you getting rid of that ringtone? Jeez." Midnight complained.
All Might took out his cell phone and looked at the caller ID.
"Sorry. I'll be right back." All Might said.
As All Might walked off, Tarot Chariot kept staring at the monitoring screen.
As the Team 1-A kept moving forward, Izuku activated his Full Cowling and jumped in the air. Uraraka, Mina, and Mineta continued following their leader from behind. Izuku started taking the lead and leaped out from pipe to pipe at high speed since he's purposely planning to become bait for Team 1-B.
At the same time, Team 1-B casually walked through the pipeline labyrinth. They then started to split up in different direction. Monoma and Shinso walked above, while Kodai, Shoda, and Yanagi walked down below.
At the viewing area, Class 1-A students observed Izuku propelling himself through the pipes on the monitoring screen.
"When you consider Midoriya's team, the distribution of power is comparable to that of the last round." Iida noted.
"Yeah, our team did have a similar spread." Sero agreed. "But they don't have a Jiro."
"Yup! They're missing a solid scouter." Jiro said.
"When means they'll have to move way more carefully than we did, or they could get trapped from the get go." Sero added.
"You're right." Jiro said. "If they wanna pinpoint enemy locations and then lure them out like we did, then Midoriya is gonna have to work harder than Bakugo had to."
Katsuki silently stared at the monitoring screen with focused eyes.
Izuku cautiously kept leaping out throughout every pipe in his sight. Since he's the fastest one on the team, his plan is to get out in the open so Team 1-B will target him and only focused on taking me out. Once Mina, Uraraka, and Mineta finally caught up to him, Izuku landed on the ground and pointed his finger straight forward. Once his teammates understood, Izuku propelled forward. He began jumping and performing showy moves through the air across the pipes to draw out Team 1-B, so Team 1-A can figure out their location and worked together to capture them.
Then suddenly, a metal barrel started flying in the air and headed straight towards Izuku. But Izuku quickly dodged the incoming barrel and kicked it off with incredible force.
Out of nowhere, Izuku heard the sound of Uraraka's scream coming from the distance. He looked around for the source of his teammate's scream. But instead, Izuku found Monoma standing on a nearby pipe below with a smug smile.
Izuku wasted no time and shot out a blast of compressed air from his fingers. But Monoma simply jumped away and landed on a nearby pipe. Izuku landed a nearby pipe across from where Monona's standing and aimed his fingers at his opponent. While Momona started egging on, Izuku was fully aware that the 1-B student is purposefully trying to make him respond since there's no doubt Monoma could've copied Shinso's Brainwashing.
Izuku silently refused to give into Monoma's taunts and began firing multiple compressed air blasts straight at him. Monona quickly jumped out of the way and avoided the air blasts. Monona continued taunting, but Izuku kept ignoring him and fired another air blast. Monona landed on another pipe and produced bolts and screws that were floating in purple energy. He then telekinetically sent them straight towards Izuku, controlling them to circle around his opponent with fast speed.
Luna, Selene, Diana, and Aisha stared at Yanagi on the monitoring screen.
"She's very formidable with her Quirk." Selene noted.
"Yeah, it's almost similar to yours, Aisha." Luna said.
"You wouldn't happen to be related to her, are you?" Diana asked.
"No, but we did have a pleasant time sharing our interests when we were moving into our dorms." Aisha replied. "True, her Quirk is the same as mine, but the properties are different."
"How different?" Luna asked.
"Well, Yanagi's Quirk can only move objects near her position as projectiles. But my Quirk can move objects and people whenever they are near and far." Aisha explained.
"Hm, that's true." Diana, Luna and Selene said.
While Izuku was currently facing Monoma, his three teammates haven't moved an inch from their current position. With the help of Uraraka's Quirk, Mineta began creating a vineyard with a connecting combination of stem vines and his Pop Off sphere throughout the area as a snare trap. When Uraraka cancelled her Quirk, Mineta landed safely on the ground. They and Mina heard a nearby feminine scream from earlier, which they immediately believed that it was coming from Shinso.
Just then, Mineta felt a sudden tug from his makeshift rope. He and the girls looked up to see a glowing screw was struck to one of the Pop Off balls that was connected around the area.
Suddenly, a swarm of glowing screws and bolts appeared out of nowhere and started barraging towards three members of Team 1-A. Mina quickly moved in front of Uraraka and Mineta as she created a powerful acidic wall to protect herself and her teammates while melting the incoming glowing screws and bolts at the same time.
Unfortunately, the destruction of screws and bolts attracted the attention of the three members of Team 1-B, which allowed Shoda to locate Team 1-A's position on a connected radar on the back of his gloved hand. First, Yanagi telekinetically levitated the objects. Next, Kodai altered the size and mass of the objects from by pressing five of her fingertips together.
At the same time, Yanagi telekinetically levitated another swarm of small barrels and bolts that were flying straight towards Team 1-A. Kodai then enlarged them in great size, causing three Class 1-A students to move out of the way. Uraraka quickly jumped in the air and touched each object with her fingertips, eliminating Yanagi's Quirk and keeping them floating harmlessly in the air.
Suddenly, at Shoda's command, all the objects barreled themselves toward the Team 1-A at an incredible speed. Mina, Mineta, and Uraraka immediately jumped out of the way in a screaming panic. Some of the objects were randomly launched to the pipes and buildings. Uraraka, Mina, and Mineta quickly escaped the area from getting barraged by the onslaught of metal projectiles. They began realizing that Class 1-B was supposed to be chasing after Izuku and wondered what's holding him up.
Diana, Selene, and Aisha looked confused on Class 1-B's strategic motives on the monitoring screen.
"Okay, I'm confused." Diana said. "I thought Class B were going after Midoriya as their target."
"Midoriya left himself out on purpose so Class B could set their eyes on him, but instead Monoma is the only one who's striking him." Selene said.
"It doesn't make any sense." Aisha said.
"Actually, it does. To Class B, Midoriya has been the biggest problem of their strategy since his match with Shinso in the Sports Festival." Luna pointed out. "It's no doubt that Momona copied Shinso's Quirk, so he can face Midoriya alone while leaving his team to handle Uraraka, Mineta, and Ashido."
Luna narrowed her eyes at the monitoring screen.
And there's no doubt Monoma will go after Midoriya just so he can copy One For All. Luna thought.
Meanwhile, Izuku continued shoot a barrage of compressed air blasts at Monoma, who took cover behind a large pipe while still taunting Izuku once more. Izuku remained silent through Monoma's continuous taunts. But Monoma asked Izuku on how Katsuki can smile so easily when he let himself get abducted by the villains, which brought an end to All Might's "Symbol of Peace" title.
Monoma's accusation successfully infuriated Izuku, triggering his anger with a growl. As he prepared to shoot Monona with another compressed air blast, Izuku began to feel something brimming up in his body.
All Might's eyes widened wide in utter shock with a hint of nervousness.
Eraser Head narrowed his eyes in confusion.
Katsuki looked somewhat shocked.
Tarot Chariot covered her mouth with both hands as her eyes widened wide in a mix of shock and surprise.
Luna's eyes widened wide in complete shock.
Suddenly, an extreme surge of black energy tendrils with a glowing light teal outline bursted out of his right arm. With a scared yet confused face, Izuku tried kicking his own arm to regain control with his leg. But the mysterious energy tendrils continued to overflow and raged out of control on its own. Monoma started running from Izuku as fast as he can. Izuku could feel tears welling up from his eyes from the agony of his new power.
Just as black tendrils suddenly rushed at Monoma, Izuku screamed at him to run away. Without hesitation, Monoma rode on two small barrels and dodged out of the way, which caused the energy tendrils to latch itself on to the pipelines, pulling Izuku forward and crashing him into a nearby building. Inside the building, Shinso looked utterly startled. He fearfully watched as Izuku used his other hand and desperately tried to hold back his new power with a distressed face. His eyes noticed Shinso's presence and he yelled at him to run.
Suddenly, the black energy tendrils grew larger and blasted through the ceiling into the sky. Three members of Team 1-A and Team 1-B took notice with bewilderment. The energy tendrils then launched themselves into multiple stems across the entire area, creating destruction around the six students and carrying the crying Izuku before knocking him into buildings.
At the viewing area, Class 1-A students started at the monitoring screen with a mix of shock and surprise expressions.
"When did Midoriya score another new move?" Sero wondered.
"What in the world…?" Diana gasped.
Uh no! Midoriya! Luna exclaimed.
All Might immediately approached Eraser Head and Vlad King.
"Vlad! Aizawa!" All Might said in alarm. "You have to stop this match. Something's wrong."
Eraser Head stared at All Might with narrowing eyes of suspicion.
While the black energy tendrils continued rampaging, Izuku kept struggling in pain to control his new power. Despite mentally pleading with One For All, he couldn't get his power back under control as the energy tendrils pulled him into the air and kept on destroying everything around him.
Suddenly, Uraraka jumped towards Izuku and finally grabbed onto him.
But unfortunately, the black energy tendrils continued spiraling all around out of control in a frenzy, flinging around Izuku and Uraraka while also knocking off Uraraka's visor. Then, Uraraka spotted Shinso nearby below, screaming at him to brainwash Izuku to calm down his new power. After thinking for a moment, Shinso took off his Persona Chords mask and yelled at Izuku to "Stop playing around and fight me!" Izuku ignored the extreme pain from the black energy tendrils as he looked over to Shinso while gritting his teeth, which he just barely responded to "Okay!"
Then suddenly, the black energy tendrils stopped its rampage once Izuku became entranced by Shinso's Quirk. The black energy tendrils then withdrew back into Izuku's arm.
With the sudden berserk finally ended, Uraraka then slapped Izuku wide-awake out of Shinso's Brainwashing just as the two of them gently descended towards the ground. When they landed on the ground, Monoma suddenly came rushing to swipe his hand at Izuku from behind. But Izuku quickly turned around and moved out of the way. Uraraka quickly grabbed Monoma's arm and tried to neutralize him into submission.
But Monoma controlled two glowing metal nuts that he rode on and managed to escape her grasp with a swift push. He then telekinetically manipulated other small metal objects up around in the air above Izuku and Uraraka.
Once Kodai and Shoda arrived, they activated their Quirks simultaneously. All the metal objects suddenly grew in large size and flew around the area with the strong force of speediness.
While Uraraka and Izuku dodged the random glowing objects, Yanagi arrived at the scene on a large glowing metal nut. Soon, Mina and Mineta arrived just in time to throw their Quirks at Kodai and Shoda altogether. Kodai enlarged a metal object to shield herself as Shoda ran off.
With Team 1-A and Team 1-B altogether, a once practical battle suddenly transformed into an all-out brawl. Mina and Mineta launched out their acid and pop-off spheres while dodging the incoming attacks at the same time from Yanagi, Kodai, and Shoda.
But Izuku and Uraraka silently watched over the all-out brawl, looking for any sights of their biggest targets: Monoma and Shinso.
Then, something lashed out of nowhere and flew straight at Uraraka from behind. But Izuku darted out in front of her and grabbed it with his hand. He looked up to see that it was a capturing scarf that belonged to Shinso from above.
Somewhere near in the all-out brawl, Eraser Head and Vlad King undetectably observed just as All Might ran up to them.
"What do you think, Eraser?" Vlad King asked Aizawa.
Aizawa stared at the all-out brawl for a moment.
"All Might, let's wait." Aizawa. "We'll see what happens."
"What? But, Aizawa…" All Might said with a surprise tone.
"This is far from over. The match continues." Aizawa said.
"You sure about that?" Vlad King asked, turning his head to Aizawa. "Midoriya's acting weird."
"We don't know what that was earlier. If it happens again, I'll stop the match at once." Aizawa said. "I can take him to a safe place. Shinso was able to subdue him with Brainwashing before. And if this power stems from his Quirk, then I can always erase it."
"Aizawa, why do this?" All Might questioned.
"Because they're still determined." Aizawa said. "Midoriya and Shinso. No, it's not just those two. Everyone is trying their hardest to win this round."
"Heh. Deep down, you're a big softy, huh?" Vlad King said.
"Yeah, yeah." Aizawa said with a sigh.
As Izuku managed to catch Shinso's capturing scarf, Shinso quickly pulled it and knocked Izuku off the platform, sending the 1-A student to fall straight to the ground. Izuku pushed himself on his feet and looked up at Shinso for a moment once Uraraka jumped down and ran up to him from behind.
Mina started firing a hail of acidic bullets toward her 1-B opponents while dodging flying metal fragments with her quick reflexes and athleticism. Kodai enlarged a piece of metal to block the acid, but Mina immediately kept firing more acidic bullets. Shoda then grabbed a metal stopcock and activated his Quirk to toss it directly at Mina by increasing its velocity. Mina quickly took notice at the fast-launching metal stopcock and couldn't find the right time to dodge it in midair.
Just then, Mineta bounced himself from his Pop Off balls on the pipes in a trampoline-like fashion and deflected the metal stopcock just in time with a trashcan lid covered with his Pop Off balls as a defensive shield. But the increased velocity of the metal stopcock pushed Mineta's face against Mina's left breast.
With an irritated expression, Mina grabbed Mineta and projected acid under her shoes, which allowed her to skid across the pipe that she landed on. She spun around rapidly and tossed Mineta through the air with massively increased force. Then, Mineta placed a number of his Pop Off balls on the ground and walls, bouncing all over the entire arena with incredible speed. The combination of Mina and Mineta's Ultimate Moves completely surrounded three members of Team 1-B with Mineta's Pop Off balls, preventing them to plan an escape in place.
In the viewing area, Class 1-A and Class 1-B observed their classmates' combat skills on the monitoring screen.
"Our classmates are putting up a good fight!" Kirishima praised. "If Ashido can get into range, it's game over! She's doing so awesome!"
"Our girls aren't great at close combat, so Shoda is having to protect them himself." Kosei noted.
"We outnumber them, but that's backfiring on us." Jurota added.
"Didn't our teachers run out there to put a stop to this fight?" Jiro wondered. "And where are Midoriya and Uraraka?"
Katsuki silently kept watching the match on the monitoring screen.
Meanwhile, Uraraka caught the sight of a large sheet of metal projectile heading straight towards Izuku. But she quickly blocked it with her wrist-guard.
Momona suddenly jumped from below and charged towards Izuku and Uraraka. He then stimulated his Izuku's One For All Quirk, causing his body to glow. Izuku's eyes widened in shock when he realized that the 1-B student have copied One For All!
Luna's eyes widened in complete shock.
I knew it! Luna exclaimed. It was just as I suspected! Momona copied One For All! It was his goal all along!
Momona didn't bother listening to Izuku's warning screams. But One For All wouldn't function normally when he activated the copied Quirk, which grant Uraraka the opportunity to strike. Uraraka quickly grabbed Momona's arm and swiftly pinned him down to the ground into submission.
Then, Shinso readied his capturing scarf and prepared to move in. But Izuku already floated up right in front of him with the help of Uraraka's Zero Gravity, grabbing Shinso's capturing scarf and preventing him from rescuing Monoma. Once Uraraka deactivated her Zero Gravity, Izuku and Shinso then started their assault, which Izuku quickly knocked Shinso's voice modulator off his face.
After falling back into a long distance, Shinso then wrapped the capturing scarf tightly around two pipes above him. He pulled them down directly towards Izuku. At that very moment, Izuku re-emerged the energy tendrils from his arms and magnificently seized the two pipes, suspending them in place in the air.
Seeing the stable return of black energy tendrils made Luna's eyes widened.
He managed to regain control of that new power already? Luna thought.
Shinso looked utterly surprised by Izuku's new development as he backed away and then grabbed his mask off the ground.
Izuku's body suddenly received numbing pain, causing the energy tendrils to disappear into his arms and dropping the pipes.
Shinso started running and launched his capturing scarf to swing away from pipe to pipe. Izuku then activated his One For All Full Cowling and adjusted his power at eight perfect before thrusting himself to a fleeing Shinso.
Elsewhere, Uraraka easily knocked away a flying metal pipe while dragging Monoma's weightless body secured in a rope. She finally reached to the jail cell and opened the door, successfully pulling the floating Momona straight inside and locking the door shut.
Instead of rushing to help Izuku, Uraraka hurried to aid Mina and Mineta as quickly as she could.
Shinso swung across the arena with his capturing scarf. He looked back and saw Izuku quickly catching up with him thanks to the enhancing speed of One For All.
Just then, Izuku felt a sudden yet strong punch to the face. That sudden impact nearly knocked him out cold. Shinso watched with a stunned expression as Izuku started falling down from the air. That gave him the immediate opportunity to spread out his capturing scarf.
In the meantime, Shoda easily delivered a strong punch hard to Mineta's stomach. Yanagi telekinetically shot out a volley of glowing nuts and bolts at Mina, who braced herself to withstand the attack once Kodai enlarged them to their original size with her Quirk.
Suddenly, Uraraka arrived in the scene. She chopped her hand to the back of Yanagi's neck from behind, knocking out the 1-B student unconscious to the ground. Before Kodai can retaliate, Uraraka then tackled her and pushed her straight toward a pipe with several Pop Off balls on it. At the same time, Mina showed up right in front of Kodai and then delivered a powerful uppercut, knocking him out cold in one strike.
At the same time, Izuku began to descend in the air in a slow pace. But he quickly recovered from Monoma's unexpected blow and quickly landed against the surface of the building wall. Shinso launched out his capturing scarf, but Izuku hopped off against the wall and evaded Shinso's binding weapon. Izuku then grabbed onto Shinso's capturing scarf, spinning himself around and wrapping it around his chest. He pushed himself forward closer towards a surprised Shinso right above him and delivered a powerful axe kick directly on top of him, sending himself and Shinso to crash straight towards the ground just as Izuku quickly pinned him down and knocked Shinso's mask once more.
With Shinso finally defeated, Team 1-A successfully placed him, Shoda, and Yanagi straight into their jail cell together with Monoma. Except for Kodai, who's still currently trapped to the pipe filled with Mineta's Pop Off balls.
The fifth Joint Training match was concluded. On the monitoring screen, Class A had won the match with a perfect 4-0 victory. This time, Midnight held a microphone in her hand.
"Things looked awfully dangerous for a second there, but the fifth match has now concluded." Midnight announced.
Farther behind Midnight, Jiro and Hagakure held out a large sign that read "Midnight is committed to fair commentary. Vlad King and his biased commentary should be replaced immediately".
"Now, with that said and done, it's off to the final match." Midnight announced.
Luna, Selene, Diana, and Aisha turned their determined faces to the Shiroibara Quartet, who glanced back with determined faces.
