Now a Musketeer, Athos should be content. He has friends, support of a man he respects and a purpose, but it appears it is not enough. Struggling with his guilt from perceived past crimes and misdemeanours, haunted by feelings for the woman he loves and hates in equal measure - Athos considers putting his ghosts to rest, when once again, his past steps in to stop him.

Aramis felt a pang in his heart, remembering what the King had told him outside the mausoleum, to not have been the one who taught his son how to ride, but he focused his mind on the fact that he was here now, and there was still so much for Louis to learn. The 3rd installment of my Modern Musketeers series. D'Artagnan is tasked with helping a beautiful young woman in a tough spot. Her name is Constance, and she has a knack for getting into trouble.

D'artagnan is anxious to help Constance from her abusive husband, but when he is injured, he finds himself unwelcomed and ignored by the stiff-necked Monsieur Bonacieux. Will his fellow Musketeers find him in time? And what of poor Constance? Will she find refuge amongst more honorable men?

D'Artagnan is accused of murder while his brothers are on a mission. He escapes and runs to a home nobody but Treville would think of. It is where he has grown up. The Court of Miracles. And D'Artagnan is never found or seen unless he wants to be. Can his brothers clear his name of the murders that are happening around the city and in the Court itself?
