Anyway lets get into the story and get to work.
Chapter One
The Reliability of Death and his Word
Kushina swallowed down a laugh as she watched a couple of the girls visiting her home begin to squabble over something childish. It was nice to have company over, it had been a while since she had seen her friends or the girls she had tried to play as role model for from time to time.
This little unofficial baby shower wasn't something she had exactly been in the mind for when Mikoto had brought it up to her. She had initially even shot the idea down. After all her marriage to Minato and her pregnancy were both supposed to be very closely guarded secrets. It was why her time outside of the cozy little house she had started sharing with her husband was so limited. Thankfully they didn't outright stop her from walking through the village, but they were very intent to keep such time to a minimum.
They of course being the village elders and former Third Hokage.
She didn't realize until now just how much she had truly come to miss regular interaction with her friends. Especially the younger girls. THey brought so much positive energy even though the war had had such an impact on them.
As if noticing her watching them, the four younger kunoichi all turned their attention to the heavily pregnant Uzumaki woman and began making their way back toward the small patio from where they had been gathered in the yard.
"Girls, you won't be fighting with each other around Kushina now…" Mikoto declared sternly.
The teens all hesitated briefly before nodding and making their way closer.
Mikoto almost hadn't been able to come despite the fact that the whole event was her idea to begin with. She had only had her second son a few months prior after all. Thankfully one of the elder Uchiha women had been able to look after little Sasuke while she took a couple of hours to catch up and support her lonely friend. She couldn't imagine living with no clan or family support and trying to bring a baby into the world.
She and Tsume had both decided to be just that for their old teammate and act the part of sisters just like they had since childhood.
"Kushina, do you think that the baby will be a boy or a girl. Kurenai is so sure that it will be a girl, but I think that you will have a little boy and he'll have red hair just like yours." Anko loudly proclaimed.
"I didn't argue with the hair color, Anko. Clans usually have certain features after all. I didn't even say she was going to have a girl either. I just said there is as good of a chance of it being a girl as a boy." Kurenai added on to the younger girl's statement.
"It's definitely going to be a girl though." Yugao chimed in.
"How would you even be able to guess?" Hana asked before looking at her mother who was sitting beside Mikoto.
"Mom, how did you know if I was going to be a girl or baby Kiba was going to be a boy?" She asked.
Tsume chuckled a bit awkwardly at the question. "Well I didn't."
Hana turned to Yugao as if to say I told you so.
"See?" She said a bit triumphantly.
"Doesn't really matter, I guess. Still my parents always said they knew as soon as my mom was pregnant that I was going to be a Kunoichi." Yugao shrugged.
"How though? That makes even less sense." Kurenai pointed out.
"I don't know. Kushina is she-" Yugao began to say.
"Or he!" Anko loudly interrupted causing Yugao to roll her eyes.
"She or he…whatever. Do they…it feel like it's going to be a boy or a girl and will it be a shinobi or kunoichi or just a civilian?" Yugao asked.
Kushina sighed at the expectant looks of the girls while ignoring her friends and former teammates as they giggled beside her.
"What has got you all so worked up about this anyway? Konoha has new babies all the time and none of you have been interested before." Kushina said.
"Well it wasn't your baby. I mean we were interested in Hana's little brother I guess." Anko commented.
Kushina tilted her head.
"We, uh were kind of arguing about if one of us was going to teach the baby stuff when they got older. Like Anko wanted to teach them taijutsu when they started the academy and Yugao always wants to train with someone on the sword." Hana said.
"Oh really?" Kushina said before glancing at Yugao.
"What about your friend Hayate?" She asked, causing the girl to blush and the others to giggle.
The young kunoichi stammered a moment before clearing her throat and shooting a glare at her friends who all simply shot back smirks.
"Hayate teaches me some things, but I want someone I can share what I know with…and I don't like him like that anyway!" She barked at her friends getting another round of fitful giggles and smirks from them. Even from the older women present.
Kushina took mercy on the girl. "Well girl or boy I'm sure you can teach them plenty about how to wield a blade. You all can teach them something. Or rather you can all teach him something. I know I'm going to have a boy." Kushina said with certainty.
"So confident Kushina." Mikoto commented with a good natured laugh.
"Yeah. Honestly when I was pregnant with Hana I thought she would be a boy and when I was pregnant I thought he would be a girl." Tsume said, getting Hana to blink in surprise and the other girls to shoot her a teasing smile as her mother shrugged.
Kushina smiled as she gently rubbed her belly. The baby within kicked softly within and her heart soared at the little action. It was so close to her due date now. She could hardly wait to hold her son.
"So, have you thought of a name then?" Kurenai asked as they all watched Kushina softly stroke her swollen stomach.
"A name….why? I don't think any of you even believe I can tell what gender he is, do you?" Kushina replied.
"Well, I mean if you are sure it's a boy, you probably already have a name right?" Anko pushed.
Kushina sighed with a smile still on her lips. "Yes we picked out a name already. Naruto Uzumaki. He'll keep my name for all sorts of reasons, but mostly because for the clan to continue."
The others nodded. It made sense, though some of them were a bit on the fence for the possible baby boy's given name. Not that any of them had a plan to bring up such a thing to the expectant mother to be.
The girls fell back into a conversation regarding tiny arguments. Would it actually be a boy or girl? What would they be like? What would they look like? What would they specialize in as a shinobi?
As they continued to talk, Tsume and Mikoto began chatting about some developments with their own newest babies. Kushina however fell into silence as she felt a return of a gnawing dread that she had been worrying over for the last few weeks. As if some looming threat was hovering over her and her family, if not her entire homeland, just out of sight.
A sense of doom, and worse an unknown fate for her unborn child.
"Kushina?" Tsume asked causing the redhead to perk up as she realized the others had all stopped talking and were staring at her in mild worry.
"What?" She asked.
"You zoned out weirdly. Looked pretty scared too." Anko blurted out getting a nudge from Kurenai for her words as she did so.
"Ah, it's really nothing." She responded.
"None of us believe that, Red." Tsume pointed out with an intense gaze settling into locking eyes with Kushina.
The six other girls are staring at her and waiting for her to explain only caused her to sigh before nodding slowly.
"It really is nothing major, just the typical worries all expecting mothers have I'm sure. I just worry that if something were to happen to me and Minato. I don't want him growing up alone like we did you know?" She said with a fragile smile.
The others shared a look before growing determined looks of their own.
"Not happening." Anko said simply.
"If the worst happens, which it won't, we promise here and now to be there for him. No matter what." Tsume said seriously. The rest all agreed in their own ways as well.
Kushina took a moment to share a look with each of them before chuckling awkwardly.
"Of course, I know I can count on all of you. Just silly worries. Pregnancy makes my mind kind of scatterbrained I guess." She said softly.
"Please, you have always been a bit scatterbrained." Mikoto replied before laughing at the pout from her friend in the next moment.
"Enough of this, lets each have some cake. Hana helped me make it, you know." Tsume said before standing and giving Kushina a hand as the woman's balance was a bit awkward this far along into her pregnancy.
"Oh yes!" Anko said, having spent many days eating at the Inuzuka house. They had a big clan, so knowing how to cook for parties was something of a necessity.
The others eventually had to head home. They stayed for a few hours of course but there was only so much time in the day. Mikoto and Tsume both had new babies at home themselves while the younger girls all still had duties to attend to or in Anko's case classes.
As they left though Kushina still couldn't rid herself of the oppressive feeling that something or other was going to go wrong. It crawled under her skin and she couldn't shake it.
A glass of tea would normally calm her nerves when she got like this but between the feeling of Naruto becoming a bit more active within her, and the Kyuubi ensuring she could feel his desire to break free and devour both her and her child, she was slowly succumbing to the dread that haunted her surrounding the upcoming birth of her child.
"I feel so pathetic right now." She grumbled. She had never imagined herself as a housewife, yet here she was. There was no issue with that. In fact she was excited for such a life when her baby came into the world.
She wasn't a simple housewife though. She was Kushina Uzumaki and she had a little bit of insurance she could put into action if she was willing to risk it.
Better that Minato didn't know though. She would just tell him that she visited the shrine to pray to her ancestors for protection during Naruto's upcoming birth.
As she left the cozy little house that Minato had selected for their family to get it's start in, she made easy time to the Uzumaki shrine despite her pregnant status. Once inside she could feel the presence of the various beings and souls bound to the masks within. Many of them willingly. Many more of them not.
One of them a bit more contractual than simply sealed away in the mask.
Kushina knew which mask it was that she was looking for without having ever summoned the spirit tied to it before. The ever present sense of death that accompanied the mask was enough to make event he Kyuubi within her still in anticipation.
Slowly and respectfully Kushina lifted the mask from it's place and settled it onto her face allowing her face before running through a slow set of hand signs some of which were unique to the practices of her clan.
As she finished nothing happened for a moment. A part of her almost imagined she was unable to complete the jutsu, but just as that thought passed through her head she felt it.
Cold. Almost like the feeling of ice wrapped itself around her and embraced her like she had leapt into a pool of water in the middle of the winter. She ignored it though as she felt the sudden connection between herself and the Shinigami itself snap into place.
"Interesting, what an interesting idea you have in that head of yours Uzumaki." The being whispered into her mind catching her off guard.
"So you already know what I want." She didn't ask simply stated.
"I do. A very strange desire. More simple resolutions could be found by simply having me promise to revive him or something along those lines. I would be more hesitant to grant such things for their simplicity. This though. I'm intrigued at the very least. Open your mind to me and let us discuss terms, mother to be." The chilling words echoed in her head.
"Very well." She ground out in response, doing as the being said. Gaining it's interest in her desired agreement was simply step one in what she planned.
Roughly sixteen years later and Naruto Uzumaki gasped for what few ragged breaths he could manage to draw after the arduous bout of combat he had just narrowly escaped yet again. The battle was wearing him down though and every day his foe grew stronger and stronger.
He had to end it soon.
He had to make it all worth something.
After all that had been lost by him. Every sorrow and pain he had suffered throughout his life he had to do it.
He just couldn't figure out how, and even now in this brief moment of rest between impossible bouts of combat between himself and what amounted to a goddess of impossible power, his mind wasn't in the game.
The grief was too much. The losses were too great. From his parents on the day he was born to all those that had cared for him gradually.
His Aunt Mikoto had been the first that he remembered. He felt sad at never getting to know his mother or father but the first person he recalled being close to that died was Mikoto Uchiha. A woman that had often made sure he felt welcomed into the Uchiha compound despite many people within the clan and outside it were clearly against the idea. When he was little he liked to imagine that she was what his mother would be like, though the woman's obvious care for him had made himself and Sasuke into bitter rivals for life.
The next had been Anko. A woman he had considered the closest thing he had to a sister perhaps. Always around him when he was little, she had died needlessly at the hands of Orochimaru when Naruto was a mere genin. As if the snake hadn't taken enough from her before then. That and Mikoto had been the real reasons Naruto had so doggedly pursued his rival to return him to Konoha. Not that he openly admitted it.
Then came Yugao. Much like Anko she died in combat, a suicidal battle in her ANBU unit. He'd managed to get a hold of her mission record sometime later when he had gained real pull among Konoha's elite. She had taught him so much about her way of fighting, but after the Sound and Sand invasion of Konoha and loss of her teacher and the possibility of more with the man she had never been the same.
It had hurt when he had realized he couldn't do anything to help her from her self destructive mindset before she got herself killed.
He wasn't sure who out of Hana or Aunt Tsume who had died first. Only that both had been killed when Pein had leveled the village. Even with Tsunade's help the two women never had a chance of survival. He only hoped that it had been quick for them. He had slept more at their house growing up than even at his own home and had become good friends with Kiba, even if they had been competitive. Sadly Kiba too had died soon after in the war. Like so many other Konoha shinobi driven by revenge against the Akatsuki.
Kurenai had survived the destruction of Konoha but that hadn't meant much. He knew she had steadily grown closer with the son of the Third Hokage Asuma when Naruto was a genin. After the old man had died though Asuma had changed and they had drifted until his death. Kurenai blamed herself and later died alongside her team helping to finally end Sasuke and his little team of vagabond missing ninja. With her students and friends all dead, Naruto had been the only one at her funeral.
By then there hadn't been many people left. The war had taken everything. The world itself seemed to be dying. As if the Juubi and Kaguya in turn were devouring life itself.
He was the last now and she continued to pursue him across a dead world. One that had died for him long before the rest of the people on it had been swallowed up and drained dry by that monster that claimed godhood.
"What's the fucking point?" He asked himself as he slid to the ground and pulled his knees into his chest on the floor of the damp cave.
He didn't expect an answer even if he had managed to miraculously get onto good terms with the Kyuubi, whom he now knew to be Kurama. The consciousness of each of the nine tailed beasts resided within him now. Sadly it meant little in the face of the absolute power Kaguya could wield or the versatility of her abilities.
"If the world is dead Naruto then there is only one thing to do. You are the child of prophecy after all. Destined to either save or destroy this world. It cannot be saved any longer." Kurama's voice boomed through his mind.
"So it's already destroyed. That makes her the child of prophecy Pervy Sage was so worried about right?" He asked.
"Hardly." Son Goku replied.
"We all agree. You truly are the child of prophecy Naruto Uzumaki. The time to save this world has passed and so that only leaves one option." Matatabi joined in.
"You have something in mind don't you. Otherwise you wouldn't be acting all cryptic like you are right now. What is it? Something that can send us back in time and stop this from happening? Can you bring the dead back?" He asked. More like mocked.
The beasts were silent for a moment before Kurama finally spoke again.
"We can end it. Stop her from doing to another innocent world what she did to your people. It cannot save those you love but in the end you will return to them and have avenged them. We will help you." Kurama answered.
"With whatever power we have left as well as your own and as much natural chakra as we can reap from this husk of a planet, we can combine it with the powers gifted by the old Sage. Nothing as elegant or creative as a Jutsu. Simply devastation. Something not even Kaguya Ootsutsuki can properly respond to without condemning herself to share our fate." Gyuki said bitterly.
"Never was one for elegant solutions anyway. What do I need to do?" Naruto asked.
"Surrender over to Kurama. You'll die in the process this time, but it will be painless and the process will be unstoppable from then on." Surprisingly Shukaku said without a hint of madness in his voice.
Naruto sighed but took one final sad look at the dead world beyond his temporary hiding place. He was so tired and angry now. It didn't matter. This world and all those he had come to care for were gone.
Perhaps they could at least get him some sort of peace by taking that Rabbit Witch with them.
The last thoughts on his mind as he faded into blissful death were of the smiling faces of the handful of women that had helped him through his life as if they awaited him on the other side.
A comforting thought among an unending nightmare.
Nocturnal rarely took a physical form on the plane of Mundus. There were many reasons for that of course. Recently however she and the others of her kind had been noticing the changes beginning to affect the world more and more commonly.
An interloper from another reality had dared to dabble where they were unwelcome. Not that any ever managed to catch them as they did so. Even her fellow Daedric Princes found it impossible to truly corner whatever being was looking in and visiting their reality.
They had come to several of their planes as well as Mundus but the frequency if visited not just this place, but this land called Skyrim specifically was incredibly worrying.
Something was happening and not even the likes of gods knew what it was.
Whatever it was though, nocturnal was certain that something had been set in motion that altered the fate of their world. Hopefully for the better, not that she much cared for that. Her interest was more personal in nature. If she could perhaps leash something connected to this foreign power she could enjoy a multitude of unknown benefits.
Until now her attempts of catching up to such a being had been fruitless.
Not so this time.
The babe looked to be a normal human. Albeit with strange markings on his cheeks that perhaps marked him as some sort of human subspecies. Beyond that though his mewling and crying was all that she had come to expect from the infants of the mortal race.
Looks could be deceiving though. Her eyes were no mere mortals and she could easily perceive the subtle intricacies surrounding this child lying in the snow and balling for someone to come and rescue him.
Sadly as much as she could sense the…oddity surrounding the baby, she could not truly understand it.
Perhaps in time. For now though other thoughts had already come to her mind. A plan that had her feeling giddy. Unlike she had ever felt before. He would do perfectly for her machinations.
Yes, perfect.
Still the moment she touched the child to pick it up she knew that she too had become affected by whatever strangeness surrounded the little mortal child from another dimension. She knew his name immediately and knew that one day he would be incredibly powerful. Nothing more.
Nothing more was needed. With or without her it was clear now this boy would grow to become something world shattering. With her to mold him though she could not only help shape what would happen to this world but perhaps shape the boy himself into something she could put to good use.
"Hush now little Naruto. My sweet strange little thing. We're going to do something astounding together you and I." She cooed at the baby as it slowly stopped crying.
With that Nocturnal set out across the vast lands of Skyrim to find a secluded place she could work upon her most recent pastime.
Adoptive Parenthood.
What an adventure she imagined that might end up being. It couldn't be too difficult. Plenty of mortals reared children without the knowledge and abilities she had.
For her it would be nothing at all.
He slid past the swinging axe and with a shift in his body weight sent his own form around the incoming strike of a dwarven sphere. The little mechanical wonder wasn't finished with him yet as it pursued him into the next set of traps within the ruin.
The automaton shuddered and whirred mechanically as it made for another strike that missed just as the last one had. Rather than bother striking back, Naruto quickly scaled a wall beside them and flipped over the trap, which happened to be a pressure plate activated pit fall.
Taking Naruto's place on the pressure plate, the Dwarven Sphere found the floor dropping out from beneath itself and a sudden void swallowed it up instead of the blond.
Naruto had to bend backward to avoid the half dozen darts that shot over him. He couldn't stop the grin on his face. The dart trap was the second to last one on this particular maze
The last trap then activated as he stepped into the final room. Toxic gas that stung at his eyes and would knock him unconscious in second if he breathed it in and kill him in minutes if he stayed within it's area of effect.
The solution was an easy one though. He had trained for as long as he could remember for things like this and more. He simply held his breath and rapidly made his way through the final leg of the maze like tunnels before reaching a lever that would purge the gas and open a door for him to leave the maze finally.
These day long training sessions were really starting to take a toll on him.
The thought slipped through his mind as he stepped out into the cold air of the northern reaches of Skyrim and gasped for a crisp breath of clean mountain air.
"Perhaps they are but the results speak for themselves, my champion." Nocturnal's voice wafted over to him from the breeze blowing by, wrapping him briefly like a comforting blanket. She might not actually read his mind but she could read him with ease even when not actually present.
Not that he minded. It had been this way since the Daedric Prince had found him in the snow and taken him to grow up under her tutelage at a small shrine dedicated to her worship. It wasn't far from here actually. This ruin was the closest of those that Naruto used to train in. Still it would take him till nightfall to get back to the shrine itself.
"Return to me by twilight, Naruto. I have something to discuss with you and something to give you as well." She whispered softly to him from the breeze passing through nearby pines.
"I'm on my way." He replied dutifully before setting off at a light jog. He would need to keep a steady pace if he wanted to make the deadline given by his mistress.
Thanks to his training though, he made it without issue and upon stepping past the threshold of the small enclosed shrine a gorgeous woman in revealing robes with dark hair and flawless skin materialized in the center of the altar before him.
"You have done well, my young champion. You've come far from the tiny child I found in the mountain pass, and I am prepared to give you my final challenge and test before confirming your worth." She said with a sultry and deep voice for a woman.
"Thank you Lady Nocturnal. I wish to please with my every action." Naruto said and meaning every word.
Naruto had slowly seen her less and less over the years. Despite his devotion to her she made it clear that all relationships, especially hers will always be give and take. As is the true nature of sentient beings, as far as Nocturnal was aware. He worried at times if it was because of his commitment to her that she lessened her presence with him, though she claimed it was only because it was important he knew how to be independent and capable on his own.
"Hmm, I know you do. You please with every breath you take Naruto. Molded into what I dreamt you to be and even more. Which is why I come to you now. It is time for your final test. First however I must reward your devotion and progress with a gift." She said as her bare feet padded across the stone floor of Naruto's humble home and shrine.
"This set of armor I have crafted for you within the Evergloam shall be your attire. Wear it with hidden pride." She said as she swept a hand down her seductive robe and seemed to pull a set of clothes, including a masked helmet and boots, from the slight shadows along her own form.
"The armor of a Nightingale?" Naruto breathed out in surprise.
"The same, though this is for you personally. Created for you and no other. Succeed in this final challenge and none other than you will ever wear these vestments. They will help you in this challenge as well. Now quickly disrobe and prepare yourself for my task." She commanded him.
Naruto didn't hesitate. He had no reason to. He had grown used to her inspecting his form as he grew to better fit him into her idea of perfect for her wishes. Still he could feel her eyes as they trailed up and down his figure taking in his appearance in a way that wasn't only like an artist admiring their work but something more.
He dressed quickly. As he had expected the clothing was perfectly fitting and more comfortable than anything he had ever had on his body before. It was more than that though. Immediately he could feel how much more energy he possessed and the protection from the chill of Skyrim's harsh climate. There was more to the gift as well. He was silent even to his own ears and could feel the draw of shadows around him, as if the world wished to help him remain concealed.
"Excellent. Now, listen closely. Once you complete this task you will become my one and only true champion, Naruto. My only true devotee. If you should fail then you will be scoured from all memory of existence and even I will forget you for having embarrassed me with your failure." her voice took on a bit of a harsh tone toward the end but Naruto simply bowed his head slightly in recognition.
"Good. You will travel to the city of Riften and infiltrate the tunnels the locals have called the Ratway. You've been there before to train against more skilled opponents and to practice your ability to conceal yourself. This time however you will be stealing from the Thieves Guild itself. From their leader. A man named Mercer Frey has a token that belongs to me. You will retrieve it without ever being identified by a single soul in the Ratway. You will take no lives and you will return the skeleton key to me. Or you will not return. Am I understood?" She briefed him on his test.
"I will retrieve it and be on my way back before they even know it is gone." He said simply.
It would hardly be the first time he had stolen. Nocturnal seemed to enjoy the act of thievery and had made him practice on other mortals since he was barely older than a toddler. Not that he was complaining. There were few ways to make money in a short amount of time than simply stealing it. Plus there was a bit of a thrill to it, as Naruto, like Nocturnal, was not especially fond of killing to achieve his goals.
"Good then make me proud and your final reward will be beyond anything you might imagine. I promise you that." She said before bursting into a treachery of ravens and racing out through the doorway of the small shrine.
Naruto watched her go before nodding and heading for the door himself. He had a key to steal.
As it turned out, the easiest part hadn't been the trip to Riften from Northern Skyrim so far. He'd encountered some bandits and others on the road a few times but the well practiced illusions that Nocturnal had taught him as a boy made them easy to lead in a wild goose chase and allow him to pass by not only unbothered but unseen as well.
The easiest part had been getting into the city itself. He simply scaled one it's walls between two roving guards and dropped in on the other side. The fact that there was a war on made such easy security practically laughable.
He chalked it up to luck and moved on. He didn't intend to spit in the face of such a gift as easy access to his objective afterall.
The Ratway had been a bit more difficult. It was filled to the brim with all manner of beggars and outcasts from the City above. A few better maintained people passed through regularly as well. People Naruto could only really assume were somehow at least connected to the thieves guild.
Following a few of them around however had been usually a waste of time. Almost all of them acted more like gangsters. Forcing protection out of the denizens of the Ratway even if they couldn't pay in septims. They clearly took other payment as well and Naruto had been forced to endure the very rough fellatio on a young woman by an argonian man down on his luck.
He felt sorry for the reptile man. He was sure if it wasn't for the smell of the sewer around them he would have been able to smell the womanhood of the filthy grime covered thief even hidden across the room from them.
Thankfully besides being trapped in that room with them there were few other close calls for Naruto as he stalked through the Ratway in search of his target.
Finally he found him.
Once again he had to frustratingly wait in concealment. This time, rather than a few disgusting minutes he had to wait hours upon hours for the obvious members of this thieves guild to begin going to sleep.
Mercer Frey was among the last. Settling into his own private area and finally after what felt like more than a full day, he laid down for sleep.
Naruto wasn't about to take any chances though. The man had been awake for so long, unbothered by the lack of sleep in any noticeable way as well. With practiced ease he cast one of the more basic spells Nocturnal had taught him as a child in training.
Mercer's sleep became incredibly deep. In fact if Naruto wasn't sure otherwise it would appear more like the man was dead. Thankfully he wasn't. Naruto had his parameters for the test to worry about after all.
He carefully left the shadows he had taken to hiding in for so long and made his way over to the slumbering man. As expected the skeleton key wasn't within his target's pockets. Not in his desk or hidden in his room either.
No it was as close to his person as he could get it without swallowing it down. On a thin strip of cord around his neck the skeleton key hung waiting to be take and with a careful application of Naruto's very sharp knife the key was freed with ease allowing Naruto to begin the easier part of the mission.
Leaving.
It took him twice as long to reach the shrine coming back from Riften as it did going to the city. He wanted to make sure his tracks were especially well covered after all.
In the end it hadn't been necessary. A smiling Nocturnal awaited him when he entered the shrine. Something that was even more rare than the Daedric Prince appearing to begin with.
She seemed even more pleased with his passing of her test than he was himself.
"So easily handled. Just as I had hoped." She muttered with pride. "Some with me now. Much to do, and I am not especially patient today."
Naruto nodded as she didn't even bother taking the key from him. It seemed like she was letting him hang on to that little artifact for his own uses for now.
"When I found you I had such grand dreams and you have surpassed them already. So I had to think of something new, my young champion. I looked to the actions of my colleagues for inspiration, though I plan on giving you something tailored perfectly for you and I. There are things I will need from you when the time comes though. As is your role as my true eternal champion." She explained as they walked.
"Of course. Whatever it is I need to do for you." Naruto replied easily, getting a soft laugh from the woman.
"So devoted. Excellent." She said before they both suddenly passed through an odd purple like barrier and found themselves standing within a gorgeous bedroom caught in a purplish glow. The room itself seemed to be caught in a stage of cool mist and dim light.
"Naruto, I have molded you to be more than my simple champion. I truly mean you will become my eternal champion. But first we must consummate such a bond. It's not unlike a marriage between mortals, though we will discuss more details later. Just know that once the deed is complete you and I will be bound forever and you will be changed." She explained as she let her robe slip off of her body revealing her gorgeous figure.
It had always been tantalizing for him. Teasing just out of sight behind her robes. Now though, like she had done to him before, he roamed her form with his eyes and drank in her appearance. As expected of a goddess he could only think the term perfect fit her just right.
"Remove your clothes and lay back on the bed. This is as much a gift from me to you as it is your promotion of sorts." She commanded.
Naruto nodded as he quickly began to disrobe, pausing only for a moment as the clothes he removed seemed to disappear through the floor here.
"Don't worry about all of that." Nocturnal said with a melodic laugh as she noticed his hesitation.
"Like your body your clothes will be receiving an upgrade as a reward for all you have done and accomplished or will accomplish in the future." She explained.
Naruto again nodded and finished undressing before crawling into the bed and lying back just as he had been commanded to. Despite knowing what was coming obviously, as Nocturnal seemed to further solidify into a physical being before him she began to crawl up the bed until she hovered over him with her face inches from his own.
"Accept me and serve me as my champion and consort." She said in a breathy voice before leaning down and kissing him in a way she never had before.
It was long and pleasurable. Her tongue slipped into his mouth and guided him. Despite never having had an interest in a consort before him, Nocturnal was a goddess after all. She knew exactly what it was she was doing. Especially as one of her hands drifted down his chest and torso to gently grip his cock and begin slowly stroking it until it hardened and stood erect between them, the tip pressing lightly against her perfectly flat stomach.
She broke the kiss before sitting up a bit and adjusting to properly guide his dick about as needed.
"I take you as my only consort with this act, Naruto." She whispered before sliding him inside her.
He hadn't been sure what to expect. Nocturnal, despite her appearance, was far from a human being. Part of him had even been petrified at what could happen. He hadn't need to be.
The most pleasant feeling his body had experienced thus far enveloped him as he felt the weight of Nocturnal settle into his lap and bury his cock into her up to his balls. Both moaned with Nocturnal a bit surprised at her own pleasure at the feeling.
"Oh yes, I have made the right choice!" She cheered louder than Naruto had ever heard her speak before.
The Daedric Prince of Night and Darkness didn't plan on giving Naruto a chance to adapt to anything. In fact as she found herself so surprised by the pleasure she had never felt before she began to immediately move to try and expand that feeling of pleasure.
Her hips rolled and Naruto felt his eyes roll back a bit at the feeling as she began to twist and bounce on him slightly.
Nocturnal lost herself in the moment as she began to ride him. Her climax, the only one she had ever experience rushed forward quickly at the sudden new experience of pleasure and Naruto was just as quickly swept away by the feelings of a goddess riding him.
Neither spoke as they continued their activities even after both had come a couple of times. They had plenty of energy to continue their passion coupled with the exhilarating nature of it being their first time.
It couldn't last forever though and after a few hours of sweat-inducing work with one another's bodies they both collapsed onto the bed and held one another slowly falling asleep in one another's arms. Even Nocturnal it seemed could sleep, though Naruto doubted it was the same as it was for him.
As he drifted off though, he didn't feel the hand of Nocturnal hover on his chest before pressing down to leave a mark representing her on his chest over his heart. As he slept a great many things began to change, but what was more he was met with something he had completely forgotten for the last sixteen years.
And that is a wrap. I hope you enjoyed. More info about the deals with the various gods and daedra will come up as the story progresses. Cool stuff going on in this story so show your support for Avatar 2 to keep pushing for more.
