Planet Arcadia, capital city of Avalon...

"Titania Victoria, we have a problem! Two vessels are speeding towards Earth they just passed Jupiter. Both seem to be of Devilukien origin." These stressed words came from a balding man in his middle aged years. What was left of his hair was a dull silver leaving his pointed ears visible. His eyes were a burnt orange color. He wore a light brown business suit.

A beautiful woman with pointed ears looked up from a pile of paperwork on her desk. She had blonde hair with white streaks. The light in the room seemed drawn to her. A one piece purple dress hugged her well toned body. Light blue eyes seemed to pierce the worried man. "Calm down Finn, if that is so we still have a few hours to act. Any idea what land mass their headed for?"

"The Sylph trackers believe the island known as Japan is the most likely destination, Titania." Finn bows respectfully to the current head of the Seelie.

"Excellent, we have a recent appointment to that country. From the Summer Court I believe. Mikado was her name if I am not mistaken." Victoria smiled at her second in command awaiting confirmation.

"Ah yes Titania." He starts shuffling through the loose papers in his own hands. "A doctor out of Aelfheim General. Seems she has already found two Caliburn candidates."

The woman doesn't bother hiding her surprised expression. "Already, in just a few months! To pass the Sword in the Stone Test is no small accomplishment. Well, at least that makes things easier. Send the Mist immediately. We have little time to waste!"

"Of course, Titania Victoria! I will do so right away." The elder man bowed once again. Then rushed out of the office to perform his assigned task.

Elsewhere in Avalon...

"Oberon Roan, we have received a formal request from the Seelie. It seems to be a matter of the Camelot Pact being invoked." A young woman with pointed ears and tan skin proclaimed. Her hair was chin length and dark red. She wore a loose fitting dress of midnight blue. Her eyes were a dull brass color.

"Oh really, which part is it this time?" The tall muscular man stood up from his desk. His pale green short hair moved with his swift motion. His back was to his subordinate as he wandered over to the window overlooking Pendragon Park. A statue of an elderly looking man that was eight feet tall came into his view. 'Ah Merlin my ancestor. I do hope we are all making you proud. After all this time.' His pointed ears twitched rapidly as his thoughts touched on his responsibilities. It was an old nervous habit. He had never been able to break himself of it. He adjusted the collar on his white quilted vest.

"Non native interference from a war like race, Oberon." As her eyes glanced at the request her breath caught. "It seems to be a Devilukien light warship chasing a scout vessel! They will reach planetside in about an hour. Sensors indicate the islands of Japan."

"What, how dare they violate the protected status Earth has. The King is well aware of the Court of Seasons rights in this matter." He turned from the window angrily. "Do the Unseelie have any agents in the region?"

"Yes sir, I checked before I informed you. We have a Changeling operative already stationed there." She awaited a response from the Oberon.

"Really, how long have they been informed about what they owe us?" Roan smiled sinisterly. That particular medical procedure was among the most brilliant of his parties ideas. Something the Seelie were too weak willed to even consider.

"About a year Oberon." When her boss was in such a mood trouble often followed. She shivered involuntarily as the man grinned.

"Wonderful, now I need you to send in the current head of the Wild Hunt. Then hold my calls. Understand Hazel?" He did like to see her unnerved. She was entirely too proper most of the time.

"Yes, Oberon Roan." Knowing he wanted to have a private meeting with Unseelie special forces. The woman realized heads may actually roll this time. Perhaps it was time to take that long overdue vacation. Soon she departed to perform her duty.

Yuuki Residence...

After a long day of perverted clumsiness Rito was exhausted. He was gradually losing hope that he would ever tell Haruna his feelings. Seriously, did he do something in his previous life to warrant such bad karma. "Mikan, I'm going to take my bath now!" He shouted so his sister knew were he would be.

"Alright Rito, try not to fall asleep in there again!" The younger sibling was finishing her nightly chores as she responded just as loudly.

The boy shrugged, it wasn't like he could help it. As he sat down in the tub he let the heat relax him. In no time at all he was already dozing. The water began to rapidly chill as mist began to form around him.

Then he began to have a dream. A finely crafted sword was sticking out of a large rock. This seemed familiar to the teenager, but he couldn't recall why.

Suddenly, a tall humanoid figure made of mist appeared in front of him. A strong male voice spoke with authority from the shape. "Do you Rito Yuuki, swear to defend those weaker than yourself? To the best of your ability. No matter their species, gender or beliefs."

"Of course, I have always tried to do right by those I could." Rito somehow deep down felt a connection to this entity. It made him feel a sense of purpose he never had before.

"If this is so then grasp the blade and pull it free. Understand Rito Yuuki that if you do you shall be changed into something greater than human. This power is a responsibility enforced by the Camelot Pact. Use it to better your planet and its people."

Without further words he did as asked. The blade rang in the air as it pulled free. The sound was a pure musical note that made him feel excitement and joy. His right shoulder began to itch painfully.

"Then arise Rito Yuuki Caliburn of planet Earth. And know all who sit at the Round Table are equal." With those last words the misty figure disappeared. Then the red head sneezed himself awake.

He awoke in darkness. He soon realized there must have been a power outage. He rushed out of the strangely cold bathroom with a towel wrapped around himself. "Mikan, are you alright!" Shortly he saw his sister approaching with the flame of a lit candle dancing in her eyes.

"Calm down Onii-chan, it's just a little blackout." As the light of her candle revealed her brother she gasped. "Rito what happened to you?" He looked like he had gained at least ten pounds of solid muscle overnight. Not to mention he had toned six pack abs. That was definitely new she was sure of it. Then she saw his right shoulder. He had what looked like a deep scar from some kind of blade. Finally, what appeared to be the hilt of a sword about two inches long was burned into his upper bicep. She silently pointed out all these things to her brother. Before, she could speak again the power abruptly returned. To her shock a naked pink haired girl appeared in the bathtub.

As soon as the female newcomer realized her situation she shouted one word. "Peke!"

A small white robot answered her unspoken request. "Yes Lala-sama dress mode activate." In a flash of light she was now wearing a white outfit of obviously foreign design.

The elder Yuuki soon turned with a quickness that startled him. The strange beauty was waving around a pointed tail with a heart shaped end nervously. At least until she saw the fresh markings on his body.

She rushed to him and immediately knelt on both knees. "I am Lala Satalin Deviluke and I humbly request sanctuary. Under the authority of the Camelot Pact."

His answer came from his realistic dream. "Please rise, all are equal before the Round Table. I am Caliburn Rito Yuuki at your service."

The girl jumped to her feet and hugged him excitedly. "Thank you so much Rito!"
