As Yusuke and Keiko were frantically playing in the ocean, splashing water at each other in the sunset, Botan smiled. "Those two must be having the time of their lives!" Kuwabara nodded. "I agree! The sunset is so pretty! Not as pretty as you, Miss Yukina, honey." Yukina flushed. Soon, it was nearing moonrise. "It's getting late, isn't it?" Yukina asked, looking around the beach and the sky. "Right," Kuwabara said, worriedly. "It's getting quite cold here, too." Kuwabara then yelled, "Urameshi and Yukimura! Come back to the house immediately! It's getting late!" The two playing in the ocean stopped, and looked at each other. "He's right," Keiko said, while walking out of the ocean. "Come on, Yusuke. Let's go back to the house." Yusuke, didn't move. He angrily said, "No way! I'm staying here! Can't you see I'm having so much fun here?" Keiko, without turning around stopped walking, and said, "You can stay here if you want, but I'm not coming back later." Yusuke scoffed. "I'm staying, and that's final!" "Fine, then. Suit yourself." Keiko resumed walking, while Yusuke went back to playing in the ocean, giggling. "The water's getting a bit colder though," Yusuke said. It was soon nighttime, as the crescent moon rose from the horizon. Yusuke gazed at it, and the accompanying stars. "How pretty," he said to himself. But one set of stars was shaped very awkwardly. Yusuke tried to guess what it was. "Is it a spoon?" He asked. "A duck?"

When everyone arrived at the house, they all approached a table, and sat down on the chairs. Keiko was soaking wet, and was dripping water on the floor. Kuwabara turned towards Yukina and said, "Miss Yukina, sweetie, could you please go grab Yukimura a towel or two from upstairs?" Yukina nodded. "Sure thing, Kuwabara!" Yukina ran upstairs, and moments later, came back with a fresh towel. She wrapped it around Keiko. "Here you go, Keiko!" "Thanks, Yukina!" Keiko said, holding the towel. Kurama stood up, and said "Keiko, my mother is having a party in a few days. I would love it if you came. I know mother also would, too." Keiko grabbed her hair with her hands, and squeezed the water out of it. "I'd love to," she began, "but I'm not sure if I should go." Kurama raised an eyebrow. "Why is that, Keiko?" "I have to head back to college in a few days, and I don't think Yusuke would want to go to your mother's party." "What did you just say?!" A screech bellowed. Everyone turned towards the voice. "Are you kidding me, Keiko?" Yusuke said, crossing his arms, "I am the party, thank you very much. You must be pretty stupid to think that I wouldn't want to go." Everyone jumped. "Ahhh!" Keiko cried. "Yusuke, you scared the crap out of me!" "Actually, he scared us all to death, to be more accurate," Botan chimed in. Kuwabara said, "I haven't been scared like that for years!" Kurama looked around. "Isn't it near Halloween? That would explain a lot." "No," Botan said. "Everyday has been Halloween. For all of us." "Is it because of the demons? You all are aware that I'm a demon myself, right?" Yusuke asked. "No," Keiko replied. "All of our lives have been filled with fear, especially the fear of getting killed. I have been scared for as long as I could remember. You being a demon would be a joke, but in all honesty, I'm not sure if I should believe in you anymore." "Keiko," Yusuke began, "I have something to tell you." "Huh?" "Not now, though. It's a secret, and it's serious." "Then I'll just go to my room then." As Keiko was walking, Yusuke approached her and groped her bust. "Dammit, Yusuke! You asshole!" Keiko turned, giving Yusuke a nice, hard slap on the right cheek, that launched him into the wall, and made his cheek swollen. "Yusuke," Keiko screeched, "you pervert! Three years later, and you still are like this?! What kind of fiancé are you?!" Yusuke slowly got up from the ground, holding his right cheek with his hand. "Ooh, man. Three years later, and you still pack a massive punch. I love it." Yusuke flushed while smiling with his eyes closed. Keiko angrily marched upstairs. Kurama, turned towards Yusuke. "Yusuke, about before, would you like to come to my mother's party?" Yusuke nodded. "Of course!" Yusuke then looked down at himself, which was soaking wet. "I'm taking a shower. I don't want my bed getting ruined by the salt water." He marched upstairs, while dripping water on the floor.

As Yusuke finished his shower and went to bed, he had trouble sleeping. "I'm tired," he began, "but I can't sleep. How bizarre." He then thought of ways he could make himself go to sleep. "What about counting sheep? Yeah, let's do it!" Yusuke's voice softened as he said, "One, two, three…" but he soon drifted off. Yusuke found himself in a big, cloudy area, that was nothing but white. "Hello? Hello?" He called. There was no answer. "Greetings, dimwit," a familiar voice said. "The old lady?!" Yusuke yelled. Genkai scoffed. "That's Master Genkai to you, twerp." Yusuke was confused. "But are you alive? If so, how?" "You dimwit. I'm not. I'm very much dead, as you can see." "But how are you-" "It's a dream, dumbass! Get it through your thick skull!" "Sorry. I guess I'm more obtuse than I think I am." "Right, anyhow, Yusuke, there's something I need to tell you." "What is it?" "As you are right now, you won't ever be my proper successor." "What does that mean?" "It means you're a loser! Trash! Pig vomit! Shit!" "Old lady-" "Once more, it's Master Genkai! Until you learn some manners and behave yourself, boy, I won't give you the honor." Genkai then disappeared. "What the hell?" Yusuke said. "Yusuke, help!" A voice cried, that sounded far away. Yusuke then was confused. "What?!" He cried, before he heard a scream that made him tremble a bit. Yusuke tried to walk towards where the voice originated, but he instead soon saw a enormous figure right in of him. The figure was roughly about fifty feet tall, and Yusuke was essentially a ant when compared to it in terms of height. The figure was obscured by darkness, making it hard to decipher. "I don't know who you are," Yusuke said dauntlessly, "but you're going down!" Yusuke's punch and Spirit Gun were ineffective, as the former merely caused him to go through the gigantic figure, while the later attack was dodged effortlessly. The giant darkness-covered figure then swatted Yusuke away like a fly, sending him hundreds of feet away. The darkness-covered figure was anything but slow, as it ran towards Yusuke faster than he could lift his finger, and proceeded to beat him into a pulp. He then squealed after a blade made of darkness impaled him through his chest.

"Ahhh!" Yusuke screamed as he shot out of his bed, before realizing he was awake from his dream. "It was just a dumb dream. Man, just give me a break. The old lady, and her yelling really gives me a migraine. But what was that giant shadowy thing?" Yusuke opened the blinders of his room window, and gazed outside. "It's dawn. But it's really beautiful." He then yawned before Koenma spontaneously materialized next to him. "Spirit Detective Yusuke Urameshi!" Yusuke turned around. "What?" "I need you to go to the Demon World immediately! Hiei is in trouble, and he needs you this minute!" "How? I mean, what kind of trouble is he in?" "That doesn't matter. What does matter is-" "What matters is that you should change your dirty diaper. Disgusting! I can smell that shit from a mile away!" "Yusuke, this isn't the time to be goofing off! Get off your ass and head over to the Demon World!" Koenma then disappeared. As Yusuke made his withdrawal from the beachside house, he thought to himself, "How irritating. I'll go anyway because I need some alone time." As Yusuke was walking, he temporarily stopped to light a cigarette. "Just like old times. A cigarette in every once in a while helps me calm down." With the cigarette in his mouth, he thought to himself, "I wonder what Hiei has gotten himself into this time."
