[Nico and Pedro's dance club, midday]
Nico and Pedro are installing a new sound system to their club, to draw in more birds.
Nico: Okay, that should do it.
Pedro: With this new sound system, this place is going to be poppin' more than ever!
Nico: You got that right! Maybe we should test it.
Pedro: Good idea.
Nico: It was nice of Carla to let us borrow her human music player for the day.
Nico connects the MP3 Player to the speakers and presses play. Then, music starts playing very powerfully. It was a success.
Pedro: Man, tonight's is gonna be great!
So they thought, for no one could have predicted how powerful their new speakers would be.
As the crowds came, and birds were dancing the night away, the music suddenly stopped.
The club fell silent for several seconds, before a low rumbling sound started emanating from the speakers.
Everyone was unsettled as the sound grew louder and higher until finally, it reached a crescendo and as everyone tried to cover their ears, the sound got so loud that it caused everyone's heads to explode, but Nico and Pedro were the only ones to survive.
Carla: They say that the ghosts of those who died still haunt the club to this day, reliving the dancing they were doing before that sound came and crushed them to death.
Bia: Carla, there's no way that speakers could possibly fit in that club. They would be too big. Also, that sound would have to have been as loud as the eruption of Krakatoa to kill anything, much less make their heads explode.
(CRASH)
Bia: Speaking of loud sounds, it looks like the storm is almost is over. How about I tell one more story?
Carla: Sure.
Tiago: Okay.
Rafael: What do you have in mind, Bia?
Bia: Oh, something I have been reading for a little bit.
Bia flies off, and comes back a minute later with a book. The title reads "The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe."
She opens the book.
Bia: Okay. Here's a story that might be the scariest one of the night. The Tell-Tale Heart.
