Trigger warning for this one! Implications of sexual assault.
Let's start the chapter!

Yuri growled as she touched the wire over the window in the room she now shared with an ice maiden who introduced herself as Yukina before pulling her hand back at the sting she felt from the seals. "I can't believe I was so stupid." Yukina sat in her chair and looked at her. The fox demon had been dragged in two days before. It appeared she had been drugged causing her glamor to fall and reveal what she was. "Scumbags." Yuri growled again. All I was doing was going to a job interview, a strange aura hit me and I felt a sting before I blacked out and I woke up here. "Think they'll come back today?" She asked softly as her eyes landed on the healing cut on her arm. Yukina sighed softly. "I'm afraid so." Yuri felt herself smile as some birds flew in and chirped at Yukina, who greeted them fondly. "You are lucky you can fly free. You know. We can't even put our hands outside." Yuri's ears caught the sound of footsteps and growled before Yukina told the birds to go before the pair froze the room. The short overweight human that had captured them both walked in with a pair of demons that made Yuri's blood run cold. The Toguro brothers. "Here's our monsters. Even their faces are icy." Yukina didn't react as the brothers walked over to her and the younger one sliced her cheek. "She's not sad. Even after we've subjected her to all possible and unimaginable cruelties. It's been beyond our means to extract a single cry or tear. And that other one." Yuri's eyes hardened as the human dared to look at her. "We haven't had her long enough to figure out how to make her cry." At the sound of flapping Yuri looked and felt her eyes widen as the birds were coming back causing Yukina to react and try to tell them to go away. Before the Elder Toguro brother reached out and grabbed the two birds before squeezing them to death causing Yukina to beg and start crying causing the human to squeal like a pig and start picking up the jewels before focusing on Yuri who hadn't reacted. "You don't like birds?" He taunted as Yukina was forced back in her chair where she turned her head away from the group. Yuri narrowed her eyes in defiance as the human smirked before motioning to the Toguro brothers. Gritting her teeth she remained calm as the two body guards that always protected the human grabbed her arms and spun her around before she felt the white hot pain of something slashing across her back. She gritted her teeth in determination to not cry, to not show weakness as she felt a vague memory try to surface before it faded. An hour passed, she lost count on the strikes, her back was soaked, however she never cried, never made a noise. Finally the guards dropped her and the group left with the human grumbling about not getting more gems. "That human deserves whatever is coming to him." She growled as Yukina knelt next to her and helped her heal her wounds. "They're more vicious with you." She mumbled as Yuri's back was fully healed and the fox was taking off her shirt to sew it back together. "How bad is it?" Yuri asked with a soft voice. "You've got a few scars I'm afraid." Yukina explained as Yuri sighed before finishing her shirt and slipped it back on.

The days passed slowly for Yuri, she was subjected to torture everyday, her body showing the scars from the abuse, she never gave the human what he wanted, she refused to cry. One night everything for her changed.

"Goodnight Yukina."
Yuri mumbled as she pulled the dirty and torn sheet over her as she laid on the stone floor, her body healing as her eyes closed and she fell asleep.

Yuri looked around for a moment as she realized she was floating.
"I'm dreaming?" She asked herself out loud as she spotted a kit walking with a man that looked just like her through a village. "Wait? Is that me?" Floating closer she realized that the kit had to be her and the man was obviously her father. "Is this my childhood? I was someone important?" She continued to talk to herself as she looked over what her father was wearing and her younger self, looking to the right she spotted another kit with silver hair. "Wait. Is that Kurama?" She shook her head as her head started to hurt from the memory as the scenery around her changed to her younger self running frantically as three huge orges chased her. "That's right. Yoko saved me." She mumbled softly as she watched her father destroy the demons with his ice sword and her jewels fell to the ground. "When we first officially met." She said with a small smile as the scene changed again this time she was floating above an older version of herself as she watched the guards practicing. "That's right, I remember now, his mother passed and my father hired him as a guard. He was training to replace my personal guard." She mumbled as she watched Yoko train before focusing on herself standing next to a slightly taller female dog demon that was teasing her about how handsome Yoko was as they carried herbs in from the gardens. "I remember Hana, my handmaiden, my bestfriend. I wonder what happened to her." She felt her eyes water and shook her head as she followed the pair into the throne room where her father had called for her. "This is where he tells me…I was supposed to marry someone that I hated." Her eyes showed her sadness as the argument she barely remembered started between herself and her father. "I couldn't tell him I loved Yoko." She stated as she watched herself run out of the throne room, gems falling and rolling on the floor as she ran to her room and locked herself in. "I didn't come out until I knew everyone was asleep." She sighed. "If I had known what was going to happen I wouldn't have argued with him like that." The guilt hit her that if she had known that was the last time she would ever see her father again she wouldn't have used such harsh words. She watched as herself left her room and snuck to the gardens. "My favorite spot, the smells of all the flowers would always calm me down and clear my mind." She smiled at the memory as she spotted Yoko at a distance. "I wore that just to catch his attention." She giggled to herself as she watched the pair interact and start kissing. "We really were in love." She then laughed as she spotted her personal guard watching them. "I was so embarrassed." She giggled as the scene changed again, her head feeling lighter as her memories came back clearer. She followed herself as she walked through the village. "I didn't even see my father off. I was so angry. And I never saw him again." She sighed. "I wonder what happened to him too, did he ever find out what happened?" She frowned as she watched Yoko flirting with herself before following them back to the palace. "I should have pulled him into my room. No one would have known with the right chant." She giggled as Yoko groaned and she quickly went into her room and he left. "I didn't know how to react to him." She whispered as she watched herself calm down and get mad at herself. "Yep, that was stupid." She giggled. The scenery changed again to that fateful night. "I don't want to see this." She sighed as she saw herself sleeping right before bandits busted through the door. "How did my life flip that fast?" She wondered as she saw herself scream and be dragged down the hall as tears fell. "They killed so many of our guards. I remember the bodies." She whispered as they passed fallen demons, their blood staining her feet as she was dragged and eventually knocked out. "They told me they wanted me to see it." She sighed as the scene changed again. "Can I wake up now?" She whimpered, knowing the worst of her memories were about to show. She watched as her innocents was violently taken from her by the bandits that destroyed her life. "That's when I started forcing myself to not show any emotion." She cringed as she watched the beatings she received, the bones broken when she would try to escape. The memories changed as Yuri felt her anxiety raise as each decade passed before it stopped when she was chained to a bed. "When Yoko finally found me." She felt her tears fall, every scar that littered her body had burned at reliving the abuse and torture. "I was sold as a slave and that bastard dog had just finished 'breaking me in' as he had called in." Her hand unconsciously reached for her stomach where a deep scar was below her waist. She watched Yoko pick her up and run, the scenery changing to him running in the forest. "I thought he died when we were attacked." She sighed as she watched Yoko's spirit form fly into the sky before she was picked up and taken back to the castle. "I didn't want to live anymore. I stopped eating." She sighed as she saw herself becoming skin and bones before she was sold again. "I wasn't useful anymore so he sold me. To humans." She spat the word as the scenery changed again. "Before I shifted." She mumbled as she saw herself as well as other demons being tortured by rich humans. "That spirit detective should be coming in." As if on cue a tall spirit detective busted in and she watched as she had enough power left to change to look like a human child. "I was stuck in that form and aged like a human. I forgot how to change back." Her eyes widened when she realized why she had been stuck as a human. The assistant to the spirit detective found her hiding. "They took me to Spirit World where I met Koenma." She smiled at that memory when Koenma had called her out as a demon and she revealed herself as a kit, causing Koenma to take pity on her and send her to Gennkai's. Suddenly she found herself falling before she shot up from her spot on the floor looking around to see Yukina looking at her in concern.
"What happened? You were crying in your sleep."
Panting she looked around to see numerous jewels all around her before looking at the ice maiden.
"My memory came back. All of it."
Feeling a surge of power she focused and felt a wave of relief hit her as Yukina gasped. Glancing at her she gave her a questioning look, all Yukina did was point at the mirror in the corner of the room. Standing up she walked over to the mirror and gasped at what she saw.
"Wow. So this is my true form."
She breathed out as she took in her form. Her ears had grown, her hair now reached her hips, her tail dragged on the floor by a few inches, her eyes shocked her the most. Before, light crystal blue was now more cat-like and darker in color. Her curves filled out more, her body leaner. Her scars were white against her skin and more noticeable than before. Causing Yukina to cover her mouth in shock.
"What happened to you?"
She asked as Yuri examined the new scars created by their captor, all a dark pink against her pale skin.
"Half a lifetime of torture and abuse."

Now that Yuri has her memory back. I wonder what will happen?
