Authors note: Hey guys, we made it to ten chapters :p, and I hope this installment treats you well, dear readers :)
Comments:
AidenValdovinos3: Yeah imagine how she's gonna feel when Ruby keeps popping up outta nowhere because like Dante she can infact teleport :p
Robbie2413: Yeah Its kinda hard for them to get along (its almost always fight on sight with those two) and for now because of the sparda brothers Ruby and Wiess have found a more common ground than they did in cannon for a long while, how long that'll last, who knows but it'll definitely cause a few headaches for the sparda twins :D
Ranjira1988: Yeah it is a common trope in crossovers like this one that Blake just has a bad time, and well im glad to say that it'll be a larger plot point later but for now its just foreshadowing, though I can confirm something here, Blake wasnt spooked by them just disappearing, its something else :p
Once again thank you for the reviews they really inspire me to keep going with this series, please enjoy the new chapter
Chapter 10: A Hellish Sleepover
It had been hours since Wiess and I had come up to the roof of the dorm building and started talking, and we had "accidentally" missed Ozpin's speech. "So do you think we should go and see the headmaster because im pretty sure we shouldn't have missed that," Wiess asked me. I thought about it for a bit before saying, "Yeah, he let me in on a special case, so I doubt he'd really be too upset, but I do have a few questions for him." With our next course of action decided we each found our way down. I jumped and used trick teleport to get to the ground safely, Wiess used her own version by throwing a mirage blade and homing in on it at the ground. As we made our way inside the large castle like structure that was beacon, a voice called out to me loudly, "Ruby!" she said. As the person made their way to us, I realized it was my dear sister Yang. "I didn't see you at the opening ceremony Rubes, where were you, and who is this?" she asked and gestured to Wiess. I looked at her and smiled softly at her, "Well, I had something really important to discuss with Her, and her name is Wiess. She's like me," I said with a knowingly glance twords my sword. Yangs eyes widened, and she looked shocked that I'd found someone like me. "I promise we'll talk more in depth later, Yang, but for now, we really need to talk to the headmaster," I said after I'd given her a small hug. "Ok, but we're supposed to be lights out in about an hour, we do have Initiation tomorrow morning," Yang said.
With a nod, Wiess and I made our way to the elevator and pressed the button to the highest floor, missing a black bow wearing girl approach my sister in the process. As we were in the elevator waiting for it to reach our destination, I decided to ask Wiess a question, "So Im curious because I dont know a whole lot about my sword or where it came from, though now im certain it came from Tony, did you make your sword or did it mysteriously appear like my own?" She looked surprised at me and gazed at rebellion for a minute before answering, "No, I had it custom made because I can't use dust, not having aura kinda makes it difficult, Its ment to allow my speed to peirce my enemies and create holes in them large enough to give me an opening, the top cylinder fires first softening any plating while the bottom peirces and exploads." Looking in awe of the interesting design, I shake away the thoughts of rebuilding my weapon to have some other functions. 'If it was indeed made by Tony and given to me, im certain he'd be upset if I changed anything,' I thought to myself. As our conversation finished, the elevator door dinged and opened.
A long hallway was in front of us, leading to the headmasters office. Deciding to mess with him a little bit, I smirked and said, "Hey, you might wanna brace yourself, Wiess." Wiess before she could tell me anything froze along with the rest of the world as I snapped my fingers. I grabbed her and made my way into the headmasters office. I saw him at his desk in what looked to be a conversation with the blonde from the interagation room. I put Wiess in the seat next to his desk and sat two chairs over, propping my feet up on the chair to my right. Comfortable, I snapped my fingers, and time began to move again.
"- and She doesnt even have the decency to show up to the introduction speach, Ozpin I dont believe you've made a good move involving her," The blond woman said, obviously not happy at my disapearing act from hours before. "Well, I gotta admit babe didnt know you'd miss me that much, Ill make it a point to show up next time if you want to see me that badly," I said making both staff members whip their heads over twords us in shock and slight anger and embarrassment in the blondes case. I glanced over at Wiess, who's still unused to moving in stopped time, trying not to puke in the headmasters admittedly nice office."Miss Rose, I'm afraid I didn't see you get in, mind explaining how you just appeared in my office with Miss Schnee in tow," Ozpin asked a little over his shock. "Well, I could tell you, but I think it's more fun for you to figure it out yourself," I said with a smirk.
The blonde lady noticing my bad posture and propped up feet gained a tick mark on her forehead but said nothing. "Regardless of your entrance, I'm curious as to what brings you to my office, especially after you missed my speech," Ozpin asked. "Yes, you see, I saw something funny on the news today Ozpin, do you know what it could be?" I asked, suddenly turning a little serious. He looked at me for a second, wondering where I was going with this. He motioned to continue soon after. "I saw two criminals I personally remembered kicking the ass of, with the headline of escaped and on the run," I said, looking at him fiercely. As I said that, he flinched a little and replied, "Yes, I saw that too, Miss Rose," he replied with a bit of trepidation. "With one of them being a certain person of interest, I'd of thought you would be more careful to ensure she didn't get loose," I stated, looking at him. Wiess to my right looked utterly confused but was trying not to draw any attention to herself.
"Look, Ruby, I agree that I should have done more, but -" i cut him off. "But nothing, despite how easily I handled her, she is a major threat, who needed to either be put away or removed from the board, and what happend mearly delayed her," I said. "All im gonna say further on this is if I catch her again, and she gets out of jail, I may start to question your competency and remove myself from your group," I finished with a severity in my voice. The blonde chick didn't like the fact that I had questioned her boss and started to say, "Listen here, you little-" Ozpin interrupted her with a raised hand.
"While I would prefer you didn't, I can see your point and lack of faith from this incident, I implore you that I had every intention of keeping her off the board. However, I have to go through proper channels on matters like these, though I may forego that next time something like this happens," Ozpin said with the wisdom of learning from his mistakes.
After listening to Ozpin give his rebuttal, I clapped my hands and said, "Alright, now that, that's over, I wanna show you two something," I said. With a weird look between the two co-workers, they had a silent conversation, and then they nodded for me to continue. With that, I looked over to Wiess and smirked. With a snap of my fingers, time began to slow, then stop. Wiess before time had stopped adopted a look of absolute terror. I chuckled about it and carried her off to the ballroom where all the new student candidates were staying.
With a snap of my fingers, time unfroze. To the world around us, we just appeared right next to my sister and a ravenette. The first thing that happened was the Raven haired girl fell on her backside and let out a silent scream and a terrified look at me and Wiess. Meanwhile, Wiess herself was trying and failing to not throw up for a second time today. Yang gazed at me for a second and bonked me upon the head. "Ouch! what was that for?" I questioned with a sour look. "You disappear for hours, then reappear only to disappear again after introducing a friend, stop pulling a hoodini and talk to me," my sister said with red glowing eyes.
Realizing the danger I was in, I put my hands up in a placating manner and said, " Look, Yang, Im here now, right? I came back to talk to you... please dont throw another tree at me!" I quickly moved behind the nearest person who happened to be the strangly terrified ravenette. The girl I had now put between myself and my raging sister then fainted. This brought Yang out of her moderate anger and had all three of us confused and staring at the girl. "Yang, you were talking to her before Wiess and I got here. Did she seem fine to you?" I asked Yang.
"Well, she was coming over to me not too soon after you, and, Wiess was it, left to talk to the headmaster," Yand said. "She started asking about the both of you, and then you guys showed back up, and she looked frightened," Yang continued looking strangely at her. "Well, we certainly won't get any answers now, we might as well call it a night," Wiess said, looking a little tired from being drug around all day.
Having the foresight to set the raven headed girl up on a sleeping mat before we went to bed ourselves, it was soon lights out. Set up next to my sister, I spoke softly, "Goodnight Yang, I love you, I'm sorry I upset you earlier." I waited for a reply and looked over to her and noticed she had fallen peacefully asleep, all sprawled out. I shook my head and decided to join her.
pov ???:
As I had been thoroughly chewed out today by my master, I was exhausted and needed rest. I made my way through the black and red castle to my room. Walking through long twisted hallways, I spotted it among a few other doorways. walking in and opening the door with my key, I turned a light on and noticed the place was thrashed. Confused and slightly upset at this, I growled frustratedly. What I didn't expect was something following me immediately after I had walked into my shower room. The last thing I saw was a giant pair of three eyes glowing a malignant white and excruciating pain filled my head as I blacked out.
