Makoto
I walk down the streets of Tokyo, humming as I twirl my bag as I go to my apartment. As I walk, I look around, taking in my surroundings. The city is gorgeous, with bright lights, beautiful people, and the delicious smell of food wafts through the air. I smile warmly, looking ahead.
As I look ahead, something appears out of the corner of my eye. I sigh, turning to see my stepdad, Toji. "Toji-keifu." I groan out, rolling my eyes. "Makoto, long time no see." Toji smirks, stepping closer to me. "I'm here to see Gumi. Not you." He puts his hands, letting out his signature chuckle as he looks at me. "I figured as much. Come on, I'll take you to Megumi." I nod, following him as he walks in the opposite direction.
(I'm well aware he's homeless, It's for the plot *~*) When we reached his house, my patience was on the edge of fizzling. Toji talked the whole way there, with me giving half-thought of answers. "We're here." Toji mumbles, opening the door to the place. "Megumi! Your lovely sisters here!" Toji's voice is laced with sarcasm. I roll my eyes, sucking my teeth.
Megumi walks down the stairs, looking over at e. "Gumi." My voice is gentle and soft, my lips toying with a smile. His lips turn into a small smile, although he doesn't smile much. "Makoto." I walk over and hug him, my arms barely fitting around his neck as he's grown so much since I last saw him. He hugs back, humming. "So, Tokyo, huh?" Megumi's voice is laced with amusement as he speaks, pulling himself out of my embrace. I chuckle softly, nodding, and looking up at him. "Yeah, why not? It's pretty out here. The curses are worse than Seoul, but nothing I can't handle."
Me and Megumi chatted for a while, catching up"I still can't believe you're 15." I really couldn't. It hadn't felt like 5 years had passed since I'd seen him last. He was 10 last time, and I was 20. We were super close, but once I went to Jujutsu tech for the last few years of my free civilian life, I sadly lost all contact with him because I was trying to protect him. "Yeah. Neither can I. But I can't believe you're 25… It feels so crazy." I nod, humming. "So, I heard you got to Jujutsu Tech now." I look at him, concern settling in my blue eyes. He nods, looking down. "Yeah, I do. I've made friends there, but my sensei is stupidly childish." I hum, nodding as I look over at the window. "Who's your sensei?"
"Satoru Gojo." As soon as that name rolled off Megumi's tongue, my eyes widened and my heart beat faster. "G-gojo?" Megumi nods, looking at me with confusion. "Do you know him?" I nod, my mind going a thousand miles a minute. "I know him. I went to Jujutsu Tech with him." I turn to Megumi, gulping softly. "He, uh, definitely was a special one. In more ways than one." Megumi hums, raising an eyebrow. "There's something you're not telling me." I had always hated the fact that Megumi could always tell when I was telling the whole story. I sigh, looking up. "Me and Gojo didn't along very well in school. Especially, when I'd hang around his friend Geto. Geto and I had been friends for a long time, long before he and Gojo were," She groans, thinking for a moment. "Me and Gojo started this little squabble over Geto, and it turned into 3 years of arguing with him. We never spoke after I left, but since Toji wants me to go with you tomorrow to see if I can rekindle anything with some old friends, I guess I'll be seeing him." Megumi nods, processing all of the information I just told him. "So, long story short, you don't like Gojo-Sensei and he doesn't like you and I should keep him away from you for as long as possible." I nod, chuckling at the last bit. "Yeah, but you should get some sleep, Gumi. I'll see you in the morning."
I toss and turn most of the night, dreading the possibility of seeing Gojo. My brain is going haywire with anxiety. The clock ticks and my eyes are barely open, slowly taking me to sleep, when my alarm starts blaring. "Fuck!" I look at it, checking the time. 5:20 AM. I groan, shutting off the alarm. I get out of my bed, rushing around to get ready. I throw my blonde hair into a bun as I brush my teeth, groaning as my phone rings. I look at the caller ID.
Toji**
I groan, spitting out my toothpaste and answering the call.
Toji
Makoto
Yes, Toji?
I was wondering when you were gonna be here to get Megumi.
I'm getting ready now, so I'll be there in about 30 minutes.
I hear him chuckle on the other side of the phone.
Okay, I'll see you when you get here.
I hang up the phone, rolling my eyes. I put some plain clips in my hair to pin back my bangs. "Okay. What shall I wear?" I hum as I go through my closet, searching for clothes. I settle on a pair of light skinny jeans and a black hoodie with matching black shoes. I hum, rolling my eyes. "Let's get this over with."
I walk with Megumi to the school, looking around. Not much has changed, the buildings have slightly updated architecture, and a few things here and there. I stopped with Megumi, looking at the two kids he was talking to. The boy is just an inch shorter than Megumi, his pink hair flared out in spikes. He seems rather energetic compared to Megumi's rather cool exterior. The girl is my height, her face is just as calm as Megumi's aura. She seems disinterested in the argument Megumi and the boy is in at the moment. I hum, looking at my phone. Megumi sighs, giving up as the boy turns to me. "Who's that, Megumi?" Megumi hums, nodding. "This is my older sister, Makoto." I wave, nodding. "You have a sister? Why didn't you tell us?" "I didn't think it was of that much importance for either of you to know." I hum, shoving my phone back into my pocket. "Makoto, this is Yuji and Nobara." I nod, looking around. My eyes fall onto a tall man his eyes covered and his white hair spiked up. "Oh! Gojo-Sensei! Megumi has a sister!" My eyes widen as Yuji says the man's name. "Gojo…" I mutter, my heart pounding out of my chest. "I see." Gojo walks over to us, that same goofy smirk from just a few years ago present on his face.
"Long time no see, Makoto~."
