On July 6th, Emma was turning 4. She was trying to walk.
Luke was busy, working on Remy's party, which would be at the manor.
Lucy looks at Luke, then turns away. "First I get used by Cuphead, then Remy steals my dream, then everyone calls me a freak and now my best friend is leaving for a week. My life is horrible." Lucy sniffed.
Luke was hanging the France flag-designed letters that spell "Good Luck To Our Star Poet, Remy Estevez". Luke was soon going to pick up a cake that said the exact same thing.
Skylia holds Emma. "Okay, we're going out for your birthday." Skylia says as Emma giggled and flew up before sneezing as she was gone.
Skylia noticed Emma on a high building and gasped.
Angry Luigi rushed, but Alem tuber grabbed Emma and landed. Emma ran off as she had too much sugar already.
She ran so fast, newspaper boys were sent flying off their bikes.
Lana was playing with Hops as Emma sped by.
"Wheeeee!" she squealed, but tripped on Lola's toy car and it started moving with her in it. It rammed into Brandy as she then crashed from her sugar high.
With Luke, he was walking out of the party store with some stuff. He sees Stephen at his family's bakery.
Stephen sees Luke and smiles.
"Hey, I need that cake I ordered from you." Luke says.
"Sure, let me get it." Stephen says and runs into the back of the bakery, emerging with a blue Meyers Family Bakery box 5 minutes later.
"Thanks! Are you coming to the party later?" Luke asked. Stephen nodded.
"I still have to get the croissants and croquembouche made. I'll bring all that when I come to the party. What time will Remy be there?" Stephen says.
"I told him to come at 5:30 this evening. That'll give us enough time to get everything together." Luke says.
Haiku was eating and saw Luke.
"Oh, hey, Haiku." Luke says.
"Hey, my parents sent me to help Stephen since I screwed up again." Haiku says.
"I know." Luke says. "Stephen told me."
"I honestly don't like them. They rarely check on me." Haiku says.
"He'll probably need help with the stuff he has to make for later." Luke says. "I should get this cake to the manor and into the fridge before it melts and is of no use to anyone who'll eat it later."
She nods. "Um, Stephen, Benny did it with Luan when he turned 15, right?" Haiku asked.
"Yes." Stephen says. "Why?"
"Remy t-turned 15…maybe he wanted to do it. Maybe I should do it." Haiku says.
"How old are you?" Stephen asked.
"It doesn't matter. I'm going to do it. Remy thinks I don't like him. " Haiku says and walked off
"What's Haiku up to?" Maggie asked.
"Remy and Haiku have been driving apart lately, so Haiku thinks giving her virginity to Remy will fix things." Stephen says as Maggie fainted.
Later, Maggie woke up. "No, no, no, if Remy takes advantage of my sister, I'll bury him." Maggie says.
"From what I heard, Remy isn't ready for that yet. He's trying to save it for after he gets married." Stephen says, making croissants.
Meanwhile, Emma was looking at her party as Melody waved.
"You like being 4, honey?" Skylia asked as Emma nodded.
With Lucy, she was not planning on saying goodbye. She lays in bed, frustrated and not sure who to talk to.
Lynn noticed.
"Lucy, are you okay?" Lynn asked.
"No!" Lucy sobbed, mentally broken. "I'm going to lose my best friend. Those girls were right, everyone I know is going to leave me!"
"She's only going to be gone for a week and no one is going to leave you! Don't ever think that…" Lynn says, holding Lucy. "And just because she has Remy doesn't mean she won't still make time for you."
Luna gets an idea.
With Luke, he, Garrett, and Beau were setting up for the party. Luan was practicing her mime act, as Luke had asked her to be part of the entertainment.
Colleen and Lonnie were arranging fake red and white flowers in Eiffel Tower vases.
"Oh, I sent a cute dress to Emma's house." Colleen says.
Haiku finds Remy getting dressed for the party.
"Remy I n-need to talk to you…" Haiku says as she gently pushes him onto his bed. "I know your fr-friends have a thing for doing it at the age of 15, so since you're 15 I'll give you what you w-want…" Haiku stammered starting to undress as Remy froze.
"Haiku, please…no…I don't want it yet!" Remy says.
"Yes you do, you said I didn't care for you. I'm trying to prove myself…" Haiku says and kisses him, pushing herself on Remy.
Remy could tell Haiku was not ready for this as she was crying while kissing him. Her hands were shaking as she tried to force herself to do this.
She began to unzip her dress as she stopped and looked at Remy, who was blushing, then saw little Remy, ready to play.
"I-I…" Remy says, blushing hard.
"You do want this." Haiku says and was shaking nervously, but Maggie came in.
"Haiku, stop!" Maggie says as Haiku teared up.
"Listen, Remy didn't want to do it with you yet, Haiku." Maggie says.
"But his thing…" Haiku says.
"Boys can't control it when they see pretty girls. Listen, don't do this, you don't even want this." Maggie says.
"Remy, I'm sorry, I just didn't want you to leave me…" Haiku says Feeling ashamed then realized she nearly raped him. But Remy smiled a forgiving smile.
"Haiku, I will never leave you. I love you too much to leave you. You're joining me in France, remember?" Remy says.
Haiku kissed him. Remy kissed her back before getting re-dressed.
With Luke, everything was just about done. The siblings took notice, even seeing Luan in her mime outfit.
"Wow…" Lana says.
Stephen arrived with the croissants and croquembouche, setting all of it up on a nearby table.
"Luke, this looks amazing!" Luna says.
"Like, who's the French party for?" Leni asked.
"It's for Remy!" Luke says.
Lynn smiled. "Nice!" She says.
Later, Luna played lookout, watching for Remy.
"Is he here yet?" Luke asked.
"He's coming!" Luna says.
Everyone then finds a place to hide and waits for Remy to come in. Luna opens the door as Remy soon enters the house.
"Hello?" He asked.
Everyone jumped out, throwing confetti around Remy. "Surprise! We wish you luck in France!" They all shouted.
Remy gasped. "You guys! Is this all for me?!" He says.
Haiku nods.
Remy sheds tears of joy as he reads the letters Luke hung up. He knew his friends planned this for him and he couldn't be happier.
Meanwhile, Emma giggled as she and Melody played around. She was wearing the dress Colleen sent.
She tries to hit her piñata later. She eventually had to get Randy to help her.
At Remy's party, he was trying the croquembouche.
"This is delicious!" Remy says. "Stephen, you are a brilliant baker!"
"So, did you write a new poem for the competition?" Luke asked Remy.
He nods and smiles. "A whole book full." Remy says.
"Time to open your gift!" Luke says to Remy. "Everyone chipped in!"
"Oh, Luke, everyone!" Remy says as he opens the gift.
It was a box full of things Remy could use on the trip, but the best gifts of all were the new competition outfit and a framed picture of Remy after he won the poetry slam surrounded by a photo mat full of encouraging words and positive affirmations from his friends, mom, poetry club, and his classmates, who signed it before summer vacation.
Remy sheds tears and hugs his friends in a group hug. "You're all just wonderful!" He says.
At Emma's party, she was opening gifts. She got toys and sweets.
"What do you say?" Skylia asked Emma.
"Thank you." Emma says.
Soon, it was time for cake. Emma sees a strawberry cake that Skylia made with four candles on it.
Emma smiled as everyone sang to her.
Emma thinks of a wish and blows out the candles before eating the cake whole, shocking Melody. Emma shook as she was having a sugar rush.
She rushed around as her brothers grabbed her.
With Remy, he smiled as Luan began her mime show, loving every minute of it.
She pretended to be skiing. Remy laughs.
Lucy came to the party. Luke noticed her. She looks around at the work Luke did.
"Nice." Lucy says.
"Thanks." Luke says. "What brings you here to this French celebration?"
"I just wanna be there to say goodbye when Haiku leaves with Remy, since I won't be seeing her for a week." Lucy says.
Soon, there was dancing. Remy did a slow dance with Haiku for at least two songs before getting more croquembouche, a tuna croissant sandwich, some dill pickle-flavored potato chips, and a can of Diet Coke. He then sat and ate a bit as Haiku joined him.
Haiku looks for something to eat, then hands him the snacks she baked.
"Haiku, what did you make for me?" Remy asked with a smile.
It was skull cookies. More specifically, M&M cookies that looked like skulls. Remy smiled.
"You know me so well…I love M&M cookies!" Remy says and hugs Haiku. "You are amazing and I love you so much!"
Soon, a piñata was brought out. Remy gasped when he saw it looked like a star.
Haiku got him a batt. Remy smashed the piñata to pieces, sending candy everywhere.
Remy got his candy, then went back to finishing his food.
"So you chose Brandy. Out of all of us, you chose him. Nice job. " Colleen says to Luke.
"Since it is a trio format, I'm searching for my 3rd member. Right now, tonight's about the star of the poetry competition in France." Luke says.
Remy looked away, knowing it didn't feel like his night anymore.
"So, Remy, I can come on this trip, right?" Oliver asked.
"You are a guy friend, so yes." Remy says before looking down. Luke then shows a highlight reel of Remy's best moments in poetry club and beyond. Remy smiled only a little.
"I failed, I knew it." Luke says. But it wasn't his fault.
"It stopped being about me after Colleen had to bring up ANH." Remy says, frowning.
"You should enter. You have lots of singing talent. Me, you, and hmmm, a different partner." Colleen says. Remy looked away.
Meanwhile, at Emma's party, she was bouncing. After eating that entire cake, she was going to be bouncing off the walls for hours.
Skylia tries catching Emma, but tripped as Emma ran out of the house.
Brandy chased Emma as a ship arrived.
"Okay, what is it, mutant crabs, evil space aliens, or Luke's rival?" Angry Luigi asked as Jitro came out.
"What is it?" Angry Luigi asked.
"We have a request. Join our team." Jitro says.
"Nah." He says as Jitro kicks him into a car.
"Don't make me use Bruty." Angry Luigi says.
Jitro used chains on him.
"Hey, look, it's Begmax!" He says as Jitro turns and sees nothing, then sees Brandy run off after Emma.
With Luke, he gets the cake. Remy just had his back to everyone.
"It's cake time." Luke says.
"Is the cake full of praise for you choosing Brandy?!" Remy sniffed.
"No." Luke says, showing the cake Stephen made. It says "Good Luck To Our Star Poet, Remy Estevez!" in green icing, the cake decorated with colorful and edible stars. Remy sniffed and smiled.
"You guys…" Remy says.
"We all will miss you." Colleen says.
"I'm only going to be gone for a week…" Remy says.
They hug him. Remy wished he would win as he cut the cake.
After the party, it was time to head off to France. Remy was helping Stephen pack some of the leftover food for the trip there.
Haiku watches as Lucy walks up to her.
"What?" Haiku asked.
"See you in a week." Lucy says sadly.
"It's just a week. You'll live." Haiku says.
