It had been weeks since the Dragon Riders battled the Sky Torcher and spent most of the time trying to crack open what was inside the capsule they found. So far, they only discovered that it was made of the same metal as Jun's shield and had a complex locking mechanism.

Thunder watched as Tom attempted to open the capsule for what seemed like the hundredth time. He then purred, trying to get his attention, but Tom was too focused on the capsule.

"Not now, Pal," said Tom.

The other Dragon Riders watched as if it was some sort of spectator sport.

"He's going to do it this time," said D'Angelo. "I have a good feeling about this."

"What does a good feeling feel like?" Alex asked.

"Probably the opposite of a bad feeling," James shrugged.

"He'd better get that thing open," said Jun as she ate some cheesy loops. "He's been working on it for weeks. It started to control every aspect of his life."

"It's like watching Captain Ahab hunting Moby Dick," said James.

"Come on… Yes!" said Tom eagerly as he heard a clicking sound. Sadly, the capsule didn't open. "No!"

"Ooh, so close yet so far," Eugene winced.

"See, if you expect disappointment, you're rarely disappointed," said Alex.

"You should be a life coach," said D'Angelo sarcastically.

"Why won't you just open?" Tom moaned.

Jun then walked over to Tom and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, Tom, don't beat yourself up. That thing is a crazy puzzle."

"Probably created by an even crazier person," said Alex.

"And who knows if there's anything about your connection to Thunder inside," said D'Angelo.

"There has to be," said Tom. "It has the dragon symbol on it. It's made of the same metal the shield is made out of."

"Doesn't mean there's anything inside, for all we know, could be someone's practical joke," said James.

He then grabbed a wire and tried to pry it open. "Wait, wait, wait… I think I got it."

The wire snapped, and Tom was so frustrated he almost slammed the capsule into the ground. Luckily, Thunder quickly stopped him by jumping in front of him.

"Tom, seriously, take a break," said Jun.

"No. No, no, no, I'm fine, I'm fine…" said Tom.

"Obsessed?" said Alex.

"I'm not obsessed," said Tom.

"And yet that capsule has suddenly turned into your white whale," said James.

"I'll see you again. I'm not obsessed," said Tom.

"When was the last time you ate?" D'Angelo asked.

"Breakfast. Yesterday."

"Slept?" Jun asked.

"Uh… I'll have to get back to you on that one."

"Shower?" Eugene asked.

"Guys, really, thanks for your concern, but I-I'm okay," Tom assured them.

"Why don't you come with Eugene and me?" D'Angelo offered. "We're going to give the dragons injured in the Sky Torcher battle a check-up."

"I'm supervising," Eugene whispered.

"Thanks, but I think I'll have to pass," said Tom.

"Suit yourself," D'Angelo shrugged. "Plowhorn, Webmaster, let's go."

Both Plowhorn and Webmaster then sat up and stretched.

"So, big D," said Eugene. "I think I should fly in front this time. Would you say?"

"You know, good idea," said D'Angelo as he mounted Plowhorn. "I think we might bump into one of those angry tornado dragons."

Eugene vividly remembers his bad experience with one of those tornado dragons. "On second thought, you lead the way."

Once Eugene mounted Webmaster, they took off and headed straight to the Crystal Realm.

"Well, I not going to take no for an answer," said Jun, looking at Tom. "Alex got some strange readings from that sinkhole that opened up in the forest."

"Yeah, unusually cold temperatures were detected," Alex nodded.

"We're going to check it out. And you're coming," said Jun, standing right in front of him.

Tom looked at her. "I'd really love to join, but I…" Jun and Thunder both gave him baby doll eyes. "Ahh. Okay."

"I'm always amazed at how well that always works," James chuckled.

Olivia was in the ICARUS lab, and she, too, was becoming rather obsessed with the strange green crystal she had found.

"'Harder than a diamond.' 'Can withstand temperatures over 4,500 Kelvin,'" she said, reading her notes. "Agh, how is any of this possible?"

On the other side of the lab were the Gonzalezs, who were working on their own experiment.

"Okay, she's obsessed," said Hazel.

"Oh, I don't know," said Carla. "I think she's just focused on her work."

Olivia then roared in frustration, tossing her nodes across the lab and looking like she had a massive migraine.

"O-Olivia?" said Carla carefully, and she turned to look at her. "Would you like to come to lunch with us? It's a beautiful day outside."

"No, thanks," said Olivia. "I'm working through lunch. I have to figure this out. It's driving me absolutely crazy."

"Okay, Miha," said Carla as she and Hazel got to their feet. "Well, text me if you want us to bring you back something."

They then entered the lab, and Carla looked at Hazel. "Yeah, she's obsessed."

Olivia sighed as she looked at the green crystal. "What are you not telling me?"

Meanwhile, Tom and the others were checking the sinkhole, the same one Olivia and Sledkin mapped out. However, Tom was not interested in the sinkhole and just walked around aimlessly.

"Well, it's definitely deep," said Jun.

"And strangely cold," Alex added. "These temperature fluctuations are bizarre."

"Normally, the temperature would be quite low within caves, but these temperatures are the same temperature you would get in the Arctic Circle," said James, looking over her shoulder.

Alex nodded. "And they don't match what I hacked off the ICARUS server. Something's changed."

"What do you think, Tom?" Jun asked.

"I don't know. It's just a hole," he said, kicking a rock.

"Just a hole?!" Jun stared. "What happened to the Tom Kullersen I used to know? The guy who never met an adventure he didn't love."

"There's nothing around here but hatchet marks on the trees," said Tom as he saw hatchet marks on a nearby tree. He then saw a purple bottle on the ground. "And lavender-scented moisturising lotion? That's weird."

"Come on, Tom," said James, folding his arms. "Normally, you'd be the first one to jump into the hole to explore it."

"Look, this thing's nowhere near the fissure of the Dragon Realm, so it's not that exciting," said Tom.

"Maybe there's a perplexing puzzle box down there. Ever think of that?" said Alex and sniggered.

"This has nothing to do with the box, Alex," said Tom. "It's just after you've flown with dragons, a sinkhole isn't that cool."

No sooner had he said in a sudden updraught erupted out of the sinkhole, and they saw flakes of snow rushing out of it.

"You were saying?" said James.

"You just know out of the hole?" Jun gasped.

"Let's go get the dragons," said Tom.

Meanwhile, D'Angelo and Eugene were in the Crystal Realm, and Eugene was spending most of the time annoying D'Angelo.

"I'm just saying, Tom's a good guy, but he's more interested in that dopey box than he is leading the team," said Eugene, looking down at Webmaster. "Right, Webs?"

Webmaster then snarled.

"He agrees with me," said Eugene. "I mean, shouldn't the Dragon Riders have a real leader that's more like, I don't know… me?"

"Tom has a connection none of us understand," said D'Angelo. "He's the Dragon Whisperer."

"Oh, come on, D," said Eugene, rolling his eyes. "Leave the mystical mumbo-jumbo to my sister."

They then noticed a wounded little dragon on the ground and immediately flew towards it. They then dismounted, though somehow Eugene ended up falling off Webmaster, and D'Angelo grabbed his med kit.

"If I was leader… I'd give us all cool call names like fighter pilots," said Eugene.

"Ooh. What would my callsign be?" D'Angelo asked, gently interested.

"Huh. Plow Plopper."

Plowhorn growled at not liking the call name, and neither did D'Angelo.

"Tom's a leader," he said, returning to the little dragon.

"Wait, wait, wait!" said Eugene quickly. "No! Uh, Daring Fang or Brave Scale! Actually, Brave Scale's pretty sweet. I'll take that one."

"Are you going to help me, or are you going to stand there, naming yourself?" D'Angelo asked.

"Of course, I'll help!" said Eugene. "I'm the leader. What are we doing again?"

The little dragon then jumped at him, making him scream.

D'Angelo laughed. "Maybe Leaping Lizard is a better name for you!"

Eugene glared at him but then suddenly heard more noises. "What was that?"

While D'Angelo was tending to the little dragon, more little dragons began to attach themselves to Eugene, making him topple over.

Meanwhile, Tom and the others had now retrieved their dragons and jumped down into the sinkhole.

"How deep are we?" Jun asked as they pulled out their torches.

"Deep enough so no one can hear a scream," said Alex.

"And on that cheering, let's do some exploring," said James.

"Keep your eyes open, Pal," said Tom, looking back at Thunder. "Something doesn't feel right."

They began making their way down the tunnel.

"Why can't we go look at a hole without a hike into the centre of the Earth?" Alex moaned.

"Come on, Alex. Where's your sense of adventure?" James asked.

"I left it on the surface," she said dryly.

"Look," said Tom, pointing to an opening ahead. "A way out."

They quickly approach the opening, and their eyes open wide when they cross the threshold. The eyes laid upon a meadow filled with snow and ice covering every tree and mountain insight. They were looking at the polar opposite of the Fire Realm.

"An entire world of ice?!" Tom gasped.

"A Fire Realm, now an Ice Realm?" Alex groaned. "Make up your mind!"

"Come on, Alex," said Tom. "We found another world of dragons to explore."

"And to think he was then a pass this up just to solving impossible puzzle box," said James, rolling his eyes.

They looked around and saw virtually nothing without ice or snow; even some trees had icicles. There were also strange slug-like creatures crawling around with what appeared to be frozen shards sticking out of their backs.

Feathers didn't like the cold, and she cosied up to Alex.

"Yeah, hopefully, the next realm we find will have hot chocolate and high-speed Internet," she said, stroking her.

On the other hand, Thunder seemed to be enjoying the new realm as he was jumping around, skidding across the ice like a playful puppy.

Tom laughed as Jun and James joined him. "Guess Thunder likes the ice! Don't you, Pal?"

"This might be the first time he's seen ice or snow," said James.

Thunder then skidded past them, splashing them with snow.

"Careful, Thunder, it's really…" said Jun, but too late, Thunder slid off the ridge. "… slippery."

"Thunder!" Tom yelled, chasing after him.

Thunder continued slipping down the rate until he reached the bottom of the steep hill.

"Thunder!" Jun called.

Thunder picked himself up and shook his head, and that's when he snapped something delicious. He looked around and saw a fish sitting out there in the open. Now, ordinarily, he would have found this suspicious. Still, he hadn't eaten in quite a while, so his stomach overruled his brain.

He went over and bit down on the fish, but the moment he did, a snare activated and lifted him into the air. Within seconds, he was hanging upside down with a rope around one of his hind legs.

"Ha!" said a triumphant voice. "Got another one! What's for dinner tonight?"

Then, stepping out from behind a tree was Buzzsaw, and he gasped when he saw that he had caught Thunder, the very dragon he had been hunting for a month.

"You?" he gasped. "Yes! Finally! After you torched my logging company and ruined my life, I have dreams of this moment." He then turned his back to Thunder and pulled out his hatchet. "Tonight, I'll feast on Lightning Bird, finally quenching my thirst for revenge!"

Sadly for him, Thunder fired a lightning blast rope, severing it and landed on the ground. Buzzsaw turnaround, ready to deal a final blow, only to come face-to-face with an angry dragon. Thunder roared at him, and he stumbled and fell on his backside.

"Okay," he said, picking himself up. "Want to do it the hard way? Let's dance, dragon."

They were about to clash when they heard Tom's voice from above.

"Thunder!" he cried.

Buzzsaw looked up and saw the Dragon Riders flying overhead with Tom mounted on Wei.

"Thunder!" Jun yelled.

"Thunder!" James yelled.

"Thunder!" Alex yelled.

"Teenagers? Flying dragons?" Buzzsaw stared. "How is that possible?"

He then turned his attention back onto Thunder, but that's when he noticed that he was responding to his name.

"Thunder!" Tom yelled, and Thunder looked up.

Thunder growled at Buzzsaw and then took off, making his way to the Riders.

"So, the Lightning Bird has a name," said Buzzsaw. "And friends."

He then smiled as he fumbled with his hatchet.

Thunder caught up with the Riders and immediately flew right in front of them, stopping them in their tracks.

"Thunder! Hey, you okay, Pal?" Tom asked, jumping onto his back.

Thunder then snarled at the ground.

"Tom, look," said Jun.

Tom looked down and saw a rope tied around one of Thunder's hind legs.

"There's someone else down here," Tom realised, immediately flying to the ground.

"Tom, wait!" said Jun.

"Tom never waits," said Alex.

"I don't know which is worse, him charging without thinking or him being obsessed," said James.

They then flew down after him.

Once on the ground, Tom removed the rope from Thunder's leg and saw where the traps had been set.

"What is going on?" Tom frowned.

"Someone tried to trap Thunder?" said Jun.

"I'm not sure, but it could be the person who dropped that spearhead or the shield, and they might know how to get into the puzzle box," said Tom.

"That's a bit of a leap; let's start trying to find them first," James suggested.

Then, they suddenly heard a groan and saw movement behind a tree.

Tom quickly turned to the dragons. "Thunder, Feathers, Blade, Wu, Wei, hide!" he ordered.

The dragons merely looked around, but there weren't really any good hiding places. Wu and Wei try to walk off in two different directions while Feathers merely it beneath them. Thunder and Blade then merely cosied up to the two-headed dragon.

"Tom, this is a dragon world," Alex pointed out. "Shouldn't we assume that, whoever that is, they've seen a dragon?"

"I don't want to take any chances, Alex," Tom whispered.

He then signalled to the dragons to remain where they were, and they went to investigate just who was behind the tree.

"Who's there?!" Buzzsaw asked in a panicked voice. "I can hear you coming!" He then saw them and instantly placed his hand over his heart. "Oh, thank goodness. People! I, for you, were one of those strange creatures that lurk around here."

"Strange creatures?" Tom asked.

"Shh! Haven't you seen them?" he whispered. "They're everywhere! I think they might be… dragons. I'm… Keith."

"Tom," said Tom, shaking his hand.

He then looked at the others, and none of them knew quite what to do with him.

D'Angelo and Eugene were now at the lake within the Crystal Realm, where Eugene was checking a few Flood Fangs.

"I'm telling you, D, I'm key to this whole thing," said Eugene.

"You're the key? How's that?" D'Angelo asked dubiously.

"Under my leadership, I'll elevate the Dragon Riders to true hero status. Ooh, we could even paint the dragons with symbols and logos. To look like sweet fighter jets! It'll be sick!"

"Nobody is painting a dragon," said D'Angelo.

"Can't you just see us, soaring through the air with the entire planet cheering us on? Eu-gene, Eu-gene…"

"We're a secret, remember?" D'Angelo reminded him. "The last thing we want is the whole world to know about us."

Eugene sighed. "You're no fun." He then knelt down to the Flood Fang. "What's this guy called anyway?"

"It's a Flood Fang. They're usually docile but can get spooked…"

"Yo! Let's totally ride it!" Eugene interrupted and instantly climbed on its back.

Unsurprisingly, the Flood Fang didn't like Eugene jumping on its back and immediately threw him off. It then dived into the water, causing a massive wave to land on D'Angelo, soaking him to the bone.

"Urgh…" D'Angelo groaned as he narrowed his eyes at Eugene. "Hero status, huh?"

Meanwhile, Tom and the others were questioning Buzzsaw.

"Where are you from?" Tom asked.

"You certainly don't look like you're from around here, 'Keith'," said Alex.

"What gave me away? My manicured nails?!" he laughed.

The others merely looked at one another awkwardly.

"I was out for a hike, listening to my favourite soft-rock station, when I tripped and fell in a hole!" he said. "How did you get here?"

Thunder then suddenly pushed past them and growled at Buuzsaw fiercely.

"It's one of them!" Buzzsaw screamed.

"It's all right, Keith," said Tom as he tried to calm Thunder down. "Thunder won't hurt you."

"He's… with you?" Buzzsaw frowned.

His eyes widened as he saw Blade, Feather, Wu and Wei approaching their riders.

"You all have one?" he said.

Wu lowered his head towards him and growled.

"Yeah, and someone set a trap over there," said Alex, pointing. "Wouldn't be you, would it?"

"I… I'm so sorry, I've been eating snow for a week!" said Buzzsaw and then winced as he grasped his leg. "Ooh-ohh! And I think my leg is broken! Please forgive me for trying to trap them. I'm starving. I didn't know they were friendly."

"Out here all alone, hungry, legs hurt—I guess we can understand," said Tom and then looked to the others. "You guys got any food?"

"Uhh… Cheesy Loops?" said Jun, tossing Buzzsaw the bag.

He instantly tossed it into the air and used his hatchet to open the bag. He began scoffing down the cheesy loops like there was no tomorrow until there was no more.

"Mmm… That's a far cry from fondue, but it works at a pinch," he said.

"Can you give us a second, Keith?" Tom asked.

He then pulled the others to one side.

Once their backs were turned, Buzzsaw smiled evilly at Thunder.

"Okay, another person knows about dragons," said Jun. "what do we do?"

"We can't just leave him down here; he stranded and hurt," said Tom.

"And creepy, "Alex added.

"But what about the secret? Can we trust him?" Jun asked.

"He's definitely… odd, but his story makes sense," said Tom. "I guess."

"'Four teenagers find an injured hiker with a hatchet,'" said Alex. "I've seen this movie. It doesn't end well."

"I'm not a big fan of horror movies, and I'm even less fond of being a part of it," said James. "But we've got to do something."

"Maybe we can somehow convince him to keep the secret," Jun asked.

While discussing this, Buzzsaw was sneaking up behind Thunder with a hatchet in hand.

"Okay, it's time to finish what we started, Sparkles," he said.

He was just about to swing his hatchet down on top of Thunder, but Wu and Wei quickly moved in and blocked him. He screamed as he toppled over, and the two-headed dragon growled at him.

"Wu! Wei!" Jun yelled as she and the others rushed over to them.

"Don't let them eat me, please!" Buzzsaw begged. "I'm helpless!"

"Back," said Jun, gently forcing them back.

"I didn't do anything, promise!" said Buzzsaw as Tom knelt towards him. "I just want to get a closer look! They're so majestic."

"Okay, listen, Keith," said Tom. "We're going to fly you to a doctor, but on the way, I need to talk to you about the dragons."

"Wait, you mean fly me on him?" Buzzsaw stared, gesturing to Thunder.

"Don't worry, Thunder won't drop you," Tom promised.

Buzzsaw wasn't so sure, given he tried to kill a few times now. "Uh, no, no, no, no, I can't fly… anywhere until… until my broken legs are mobilised." He then winced in pain, grasping his leg.

"Sounds like a job for Doctor D," said Alex.

"He's probably still in the Crystal Realm," said Tom.

"I'll go track him down," said Jun.

She then quickly mounted Wei and took off on the two-headed dragon.

"Crystal Realm?" Buzzsaw frowned.

"Don't worry, Keith, we're not going to leave you here," Tom promised.

"Thanks."

Tom, James and Alex then collected some firewood.

"Thunder? Give it a little pop," said Tom.

Thunder glared at Buzzsaw but fired a lightning blast, igniting the firewood.

"And they're smarter than you think," said Alex as she sat down.

Tom noticed that Thunder was a bit frisky. "Thunder, come here. You want to get warm?"

Thunder seemed perfectly happy where he was and didn't move an inch closer to them. Concerned, Tom made his way over to him, and Alex gave Buzzsaw a suspicious look.

"What's wrong, Pal?" Tom asked.

Thunder looked away from him.

"Look, I know you don't like Keith because he tried to trap you," said Tom gently. "But our best shot at him keeping the secret and you guys safe is if he understands how amazing you are. So can you at least try to be on your best behaviour?"

Thunder growled, telling him he will.

"Thanks, Pal," said Tom, rubbing him.

"So, how long have you had these… pets?" Buzzsaw asked.

"Oh, they're not pets," said Tom. "They're more like friends."

"I can see that. Do they all, you know, shoot lightning?"

"Oh, no, no, no," said Tom. "Some drop bomb loogies and Wu and Wei shoot steam."

"Blade is able to fire these fire-like missiles," said James.

"And Feathers has a sonic blast that will blow your soul right out of your body," Alex added. "Want to see?"

"Wow. A sonic blast, huh?" said Buzzsaw, looking generally amazed.

"Yeah. Dragons have pretty sensitive hearing," said Tom.

Thunder then snarled at Buzzsaw.

"Good to know," said Buzzsaw. "And you can fly them. Isn't that scary?"

"Their incredible creatures, Keith. I know they can seem scary, but want to get to know them; you'll understand."

"Oh, I think I do…" said Buzzsaw, narrowing his eyes, and Tom frowned. "I mean, now I do!"

"So, you help us keep them a secret to protect them?" Tom asked.

"Nobody else knows about them?"

"Just you."

Buzzsaw smiled upon hearing this, which was a little unnerving to Tom and the others.

"Cross my heart and hope to die," he said, making a crossover his heart and then looked down at the fire. "Uh, looks like the fire's burning down. Could you some more wood."

"Right," said Tom as he stood up. "Alex, James, you want to help me find some?"

"Sure," said Alex, getting to her feet. "But Feathers is coming with me."

"Blade is well," James added.

Buzzsaw smiled and nodded as the three teens walked past.

Once they were gone, he looked directly at Thunder. "Looks like once I've finished you off, I'll be getting a dragon for myself."

He then rose to his feet and reached for his hatchet, only to find that it was missing. "What the…"

He turned around and saw that Tom was using it to cut some branches.

"Oh, I borrowed your hatchet," said Tom. "I hope you don't mind."

"Uh, not at all. Uh…" Buzzsaw smiled.

Alex then noticed him standing on his 2 feet. "Hey, you're standing up."

Buzzsaw looked down and remembered he was pretending to have a broken leg. "Ughhh! Ahh… I just thought I'd try to walk it off!" He then fell to the ground, clutching his leg. "Ooh! No. Still broken."

He then dragged himself back to the tree.

Alex then looked at Tom. "You can't possibly be buying this."

"What choice do we have, Alex?" Tom asked. "We can't just leave them here to freeze to death."

"Tom, I've seen the way he looks at Thunder when he thinks nobody's watching," said Alex. "It's like a deep-seated… rage, like they have some sort of history."

"Oh, come on," said Tom. "How could that be possible?"

I don't know. But I've come across a lot of fakers and trolls online, and this guy smells rotten."

"I'm with Alex on this," said James as he put some branches on a stump. "He's definitely not telling us the truth; in fact, I think everything he's told us so far is a lie."

Tom then slammed the hatchet down the steps, cutting them to pieces and saw something engraved on its hilt.

"'Property of Leonard, Burne Lumber Company,'" Tom read. "I thought he said his name was Keith."

"That's the lumber site that was burnt down in that forest fire; my mum told me about it," said James.

All three of them then looked towards Buzzsaw.

They soon returned, and Tom handed Buzzsaw back his hatchet.

"Hey, thanks for letting me borrow your hatchet, Leonard," said Tom.

"No problem," he said, taking aback. "Anything I can do to help."

Tom noticed that Buzzsaw hadn't corrected him on his name. He then turned to James and Alex, who believed this proved their point.

Jun had reached the Crysta Realm and was now searching for D'Angelo and Eugene.

"I'm never going to find D'Angelo out here," she moaned.

She then heard her brother's screams.

"But I can definitely find Eugene."

Eugene screamed as a chubby little dragon gave him the evil eye.

"She keeps menacing me! Make her stop!" Eugene pleaded.

"She's not going to do anything, Eugene," said D'Angelo, calming the little dragon. "Just don't pull on her tail again."

"I didn't…" he said as he moved closer to them, only for the little dragon to screech at him. "Okay, okay, I did."

Jun then landed next to them. "D, Gene!"

"What are you doing out here?" D'Angelo asked as she dismounted. "Couldn't watch Tom play with the puzzle box any more?"

"It's a long story, but basically, we found a whole new dragon realm," she said.

"What?" D'Angelo gasped. "That's great!"

"Problem is another guy found it first, some hiker with a hatchet," she informed them. "He's heard and needs your help."

"Uh, did you say, 'hatchet'?" Eugene asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Jun asked curiously.

"Hmm, it's the psycho. I think it is we might have a small problem."

Buzzsaw was now watching everyone and their dragons closely; their attention was mostly focused on Thunder.

"I sure am hungry," said Buzzsaw. "You don't happen to have any more of those cheesy circles, do you?"

"Nope. You ate 'em all," said Alex.

"And they're called cheesy loops," James corrected.

"We could go and bring you back something, I guess," said Tom. "Don't know how long it might take Jun to find D'Angelo."

"Ah, that would be so great," said Buzzsaw.

The three of them got to their feet and prepared to mount their dragons.

"But… can you leave Thunder with me?" Buzzsaw asked. "I feel so bad about what happened. I'd love the chance to really bond with him."

"Yeah. I guess that would be okay," said Tom, looking at Thunder. "You okay with that, Pal? We won't be long."

Buzzsaw smiled as he looked at Thunder, placing a hand over his hatchet.

Meanwhile, Jun and the others were rushing back to Tom and the others as quickly as they could.

"Come on, Wu and Wei, everything you've got!" said Jun.

"Stay on their wing, girl!" said D'Angelo to Plowhorn.

"Uhh, any chance we could pit-stop? I have to pee," said Eugene.

"Hold it!" Jun and D'Angelo snapped.

Eugene whimpered as they flew even faster.

Alex and James mounted their dragons, with Tom riding with Alex. Once settled in, they quickly took off, leaving Buzzsaw alone with Thunder.

"Finally, some alone time," he said, looking at Thunder.

He then rose to his feet and pulled out his hatchet; Thunder immediately snarled at him.

"Your head is going to look simply divine over my fireplace," Buzzsaw smiled.

He was just about to swing his hatchet when Thunder fired a lightning blast, disarming him.

"Uh-oh," said Buzzsaw as he looked at an angry Thunder, who then immediately began to chase after him.

"You know, maybe we should talk about this!" Buzzsaw suggested as they ran through the frozen forest. "We could bury the hatchet, so to speak!"

Thunder kept chasing after him and fired a lightning blast that struck near his foot, causing him to trip.

"Or maybe we can just keep playing chase!"

He quickly picked himself up and ran as Thunder continued to chase him. Then suddenly, he tripped a trip wire and landed directly on top of him.

"Oops. Didn't see that coming, did you?" Buzzsaw smirked. "They said you were smart. Oh, well. Sorry, not sorry."

He then reached for his hatchet but suddenly remembered that he didn't have it.

"Uhh! I have to get myself a second hatchet," he groaned as he dragged Thunder to the tree or his hatchet was impaled. "This is becoming seriously annoying." He was almost at the hatchet when suddenly he walked into something. "Uhh! What the…"

Then suddenly decloaking before him was Feathers, with Alex and Tom hiding behind her wings. A split second later, James landed directly behind him on top of Blade.

"Now we know the truth," said Tom. "Good job, Thunder."

Thunder then suddenly freed himself from the net and growled at Buzzsaw.

"Wait a minute," Buzzsaw gasped. "Him and you cooked this whole thing up?"

"Like I said, they're smarter than you think and, by the way, so am I," said Alex.

"Did you honestly think we would leave you behind with Thunder?" said James as he joined the others.

"It's over, Leonard," said Tom.

"Only my mother calls me Leonard!" Buzzsaw snapped. "The name's Buzzsaw!"

He then rushed over to grab his hatchet, but the moment he retrieved it, Feathers blasted him with a sonic blast.

"Couldn't have said it better myself, Feathers," said Alex.

Unfortunately, the sonic blast caused a large ice pillar to crack, and chunks of ice began falling towards them.

"Watch out!" Tom yelled.

Too late, the ice landed directly on top of them, picking them to the ground, and Buzzsaw approached them laughing.

"All this back and forth is making me dizzy," he said. "I'm about to win, then you're about to win, now I'm about to win again! Let's just finish this."

He then raised his hatchet, prepared to deal a final blow, when a loogie blast came speeding towards him. He yelled and jumped out of the way, but the explosion's impact knocked him off his feet.

Tom looked up and saw Jun had arrived with D'Angelo and Eugene.

"Nice shot, girl," said D'Angelo.

"Yep, that's him," said Eugene, looking at Buzzsaw. "And now he definitely wants to kill me."

"This isn't over," said Buzzsaw, glaring at Tom. "You can count on that."

He then ran away, and Tom tried to free himself, but the ice was too heavy.

"Can you get these things off of us?" Tom asked.

"Webs!" Eugene yelled.

Webmaster then fired some webbing at the ice and then pulled it off them.

After they searched the Ice Realm, they returned to the Dragon Lair to discuss Buzzsaw.

"This is a serious problem," said D'Angelo. "We looked all over, but that guy's still in the dragon world. All dragons are in danger."

"And we find him and bring him back to the real world; he'll tell everyone the secret," said Jun.

"Well, now that we know exactly what we're up against, thank you, Eugene…" said Tom.

"Leader! Party of one," Eugene winked, clicking his tongue.

Jun rolled her eyes.

"… I'm willing to risk the secret to get Buzzsaw out of the Dragon Realms," said Tom. "He's too dangerous down there on the loose."

"And everyone will just think he's crazy anyway because he is," said Alex.

"All right, it's getting late," said Tom, standing up. "We'd better get home. Tomorrow, we hit the ground running."

Thunder gave a chuckle like a growl.

"Sorry, Pal. Flying. We need to start placing sensors in the Ice Realm. Hopefully, he'll trip one of our traps."

"What about your cryptic box, Tommy?" Eugene asked. "You know, because if you don't have time to lead the mission, I'd be happy to…"

"If I've learned anything from today, Eugene, it's that obsession can lead to a very unhappy life," said Tom. "Just look at Buzzsaw."

He then began to leave, but a split second later, he returned, reaching out for the canister.

"Or maybe I'll bring it with me," he said.

"Tom…" Jun warned.

"Okay, okay, okay, it was just an idea," he said, returning it.

Meanwhile, Olivia was still analysing the green crystal. She was increasing the temperature within the container, and the hotter it got, the brighter the crystal glowed and produced some gas.
