Okay Author Reaper here. I am terribly sorry for taking SO long for this to happen school and stuff got into the way extremely. But I'm back and I'm gonna continue on! I know there is a little bit of rushed stuff all around and inconsistencies, but I promise I'll be able to fix it next chapter. Anyway here is the long awaited chapter 3!

"These enemies are strange. The beasts are made of shadows and magic, but the magic is from the root of evil. I could feel the rage inside each monster lash out at me as I fought them. With this sword I carry I vowed to rid the world of all evil, yet I find myself using it on my own kind who get corrupted by darkness."

As team RWBY watched from below, Professor Ozpin saw a warrior unlike anything he had ever seen. The boy had slashed his way through multiple Grimm and even took out a whole flock of them with just a single attack. Ozpin also noticed that Shino was emitting a black aura, something Ozpin had not seen before.

"How strange. A black semblance. I didn't expect to see that. His aura must come from something very dark." Ozpin watched as he saw Shino walk towards the gathering of Beowolfs. "It seems like we will have to help him. I hope you girls will be able to assist him?"

Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Blake geared up as they gave him a nod of confirmation before jumping out of the broken window as they tried to catch up to Shino, who was too busy killing White Fang soldiers and rescuing civilians.

"Wow! He sure knows how to fight!" Yang was very pleased with his fighting prowess.

"Yeah, it seems he wasn't joking when he said he fought a 1000 soldiers or something. He's killing Grimm like it's nothing!" Blake ran past multiple bodies of dead Grimm and now broken robots..

"Guys look there he is!" Ruby pointed to the warrior who was swiftly destroying the robots while being gunned down to no effect. "Shino! Are you okay?"

Shino sighed as he whipped the blade to flick the blood off of his sword before wiping with a cloth.

"I would believe so, considering I am still standing." Shino had no apparent wounds, but there were marks of bullet impacts that more looked like powdered explosions.

"Woah he's uninjured. He must have had like a dozen robots shooting at him. Is your suit made of bullet proof material?" Weiss' question caused Shino to look very confused.

"So that is what they were shooting at me? I thought they were pellets or rocks." He sounded more shocked than confused considering in his timeline guns (Tanegashima) were not invented until the late muromachi period.

"It seems he's more archaic than we thought." Yang said while inspecting his uniform. "Are you like an ancient warrior or something?"

As he would answer that question, a wolf like Grim appeared and charged towards them, and Blake and Weiss immediately took it down before Shino took his sword out.

"Guys I don't think we should be sitting around anymore. The people need our help. We need to find Jaune and Pyra." Ruby equipped her sniper scythe before looking towards Shino, who equipped his sword. "The school is under attack by the grim as well, we can take care of the situation here. Maybe you could help them clear out the enemy and possibly find our friends!"

Shino nodded in response before heading back to the academy, while Team RWBY decided to head back into Beacon and take on the Grim and the hostile robots encroaching the territory.

"What's that tower up there?" Shino said as he stood in it's view.

"That's the CCT. It's how we're able to communicate with all 4 kingdoms. That's our main objective to protect. It's also where Ozpins office is. We were just there." Ruby answered as she continued to fight Grim. "What are you planning Shino?"

"Nothing in particular. I'll be back shortly." He rushed off to the tower as he continued to slash Grim who got in his way.

"What do you think he's planning, Ruby?" Yang asked as she fought off more Robots.

"I don't know. But I feel that he might do something that will turn the tide. We've never seen someone fight so powerful before. He might be stronger than he looks." Ruby answered as they turned their attention towards the Grim and the ever more encroaching hostile Robots.

Meanwhile….

Shino continued to run up the steps of the tower as he continued to encounter grim after grim. He was growing tired of these enemies as he would see them as…well…boring. Samurai were not as easy to defeat, so grim was like killing prey to him.

Finally reaching the last stretch, he suddenly bumped into someone and fell down onto the ground, as a female voice spoke up to help him.

"I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" A woman with red hair and gladiator (royal roman style) type armor reached out her hand to help him up, which Shino accepted and got back up, picking up his sword that he dropped.

"Yes I'm fine. Thank you for that." He then without warning pushed her to the side and killed another wolf like grim with ease. He then helped her back up and bowed in an apologetic manner. "I apologize for that. It's an instinctive move. What are you doing here? Ruby said most of the students are fighting down below?"

"I'm trying to find Professor Ozpin. He might be in danger. Cinder has killed the fall maiden and now she has her powers." Shino sighed as he sheathed his sword and tried to take off before the woman grabbed his arm. "We can just take the Elevator." Shino looked confused as he had never heard of that before, to which she led him into the elevator and pushed a button to start the lift. "I never got your name."

"Shino. Yours?"

"Pyrra. I've never seen you before. Are you from the military?"

"Not from yours I'm afraid. I got caught into your battle as I fell from the sky. Ruby and her friends helped me to safety. Who is this Cinder?" He began to clean his sword to ready it for the next battle.

"She was a student here who was working for the Grim and white fang. She has slain the current Fall Maiden and is probably on her way to destroy the tower. I can only hope to save Professor Ozpin." As the elevator finally ended. Shino went to walk out but hit the doors, causing Pyrra to slightly chuckle. "I can clearly see you aren't from around here."

As the doors opened, Pyrras demeanor changed from happy to horrified. She couldn't not tell whether or not Ozpin had been slain but there were a lot of marks all over the office. "I pray we aren't too late."

"Oh trust me. You're far from late." A black haired woman came in from the other elevator with a fiery semblance engulfing her. Pyrra was ready to fight, but Shino couldn't take her eyes off of her.

"Such beauty." He said as he began to approach the woman.

"Shino be careful! That's cinder! She's dangerous." His eyes turned black once more as his semblance appeased to engulf him like a shadow. Cinder, who had just come back from the vault, suddenly became trapped in her own space. She couldn't move, she felt too scared to move. It was as if a monster had just eradicated all sense of confidence from her soul.

"S-Stay back!" She regained her strength and sent a fire attack towards him, but it did nothing. The Reaper of the North walked through fire as if no pain could be felt.

As Cinder suddenly felt nothing but despair, she was brought down to her knees as Shino took a knee to face her. "I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you. Your eyes are like fire." Pyrra was in disbelief at what she saw. Her attack did nothing to him. Was he a god? A being far stronger than the both of them?

"W-What's your problem?! You think charms and flattery will save you?!" Cinder pushed him away as she sent another attack towards him. Gaining her confidence once more she could start to fight, which Shino was more than happy to do.

Pyrra immediately got back as she realized the danger Shino posed. The swordsman dashed towards her like a bullet, catching her off guard and she launched a kick to separate them, but he grabbed the leg and threw her against the wall with ease. Pyrra saw his eyes had been black this whole time. "Is he in some kind of trance. Is his semblance increasing his ability to fight?"

"This is impossible! I've collected the Fall Maidens powers! How are you able to beat me with your bare hands?! Who are you?! Answer me!" She screamed as she rushed him with a fireball in her hand, to which Shino responded with a choke hold and a slam towards the wall, and dropped her body to corner his sword against her throat.

"Your beauty is wasted trying to fight for evil. I can tell you've gotten this far through sheer will and strength. Tell me, what do you hope to gain by murdering people?" He said this so calmly it almost shook both sides. Cinder was starting to ease up on him. He sounded so genuine it was almost impossible for her to not understand him. Yet she still felt fear. Fear that was new to her. Fear that was scary to her.

"I-I only want power! Power is all I desire! You seem to have it far better than I have. You've been toying with me! Now you're sitting here trying to flirt with me while we're in the middle of combat!" Cinder blushed an amber red on her cheeks as blood flowed through them. She couldn't understand why this was happening, yet she wanted it to continue. "W-Who are you really? I've never seen you before."

"I'm Shino Yukio. A warrior from another world. It seems in the middle of your influenced battle against these warriors I fell from the sky and became caught up in the fighting. The man named Ozpin filled me in as I became a participant against the Grim. It's strange really. For a demon to fight other demons." Shino lowered his sword, yet Cinder became evermore fearful of him.

"D-Demon? Are you a Faunus?!" Cinder lifted his hood to see no animal or creature-like ears, but only human ears. "Wait, you're human. Why would you call yourself a demon?"

"Because people in my world call me the God of Death. A reaper of sorts. Guiding souls to hell for their injustices upon our world. I can not seem to do it to you, considering I am for once in my life captivated by your beauty." Cinder blushed even harder and covered her face. This wasn't like her at all, but his sincere remarks and utter fear of him was making it difficult for her to do so.

Pyrra, obviously amazed by his skills, went towards Cinder for some questioning. "Okay now I understand you two are playing with each other, but where is Professor Ozpin? Did you do something to him?" Pyrra said this urgently and worryingly. Cinder only smiled as she turned towards her.

"He was a brave man, fighting me with my new powers. It's sad that he didn't live to tell the ta-" Her voice was cut short by Shinos hands as they gripped her neck with ever increasing strength.

"I must admit I never lose my anger, but you've done it now." Cinder became scared. She feared him far greater than before. This man single-handedly defeated her with no powers except his bare hands. If her strength wasn't enough, was anyone able to defeat him?

"P-Please! I-I'll surrender! Just don't send me to hell!" She started to cry as she looked into his black eyes and saw nothing. It was the abyss of death.

Shino let go of her neck and began to search his pocket for a vial, which he then opened. "Drink this." He gave her the vial and she immediately drank it without hesitation despite not knowing what it was. "It's a potion. It will take some time to fully take effect but your injuries should recover much quicker." He then used his sword to touch her neck, as blood trickled out. "I'm allowing you to live only because of the fact that I have somehow taken a liking to you. Pyrrha. Tie her hands with this." He gives her a rope which she then fastens onto Cinders wrists.

"Y-You're just going to save me by capturing me?! The Grim will come after you! The military will send me to prison." Cinder explained as she tried her hardest to get out of her restraints despite trying her hardest.

"I am not responsible for that. However I know hardship when I see it." Shino then looked deep into her eyes, which caused her to look away in embarrassment. "You suffered greatly. I can tell. Power like yours does not exactly come from humble roots." This angered Cinder, who jumped at him before being restrained by Pyrrha.

"How dare you act like you know me! You're no better! I bet you've slaughtered hundreds of people. You're no better than I am!" Shino sighed as she looked in disbelief.

"It's true. But not for power. For justice. I came from a battle where I killed 19000 men in a single day. You're no match for me despite all the power you have gained from senseless murder." Suddenly the tower began to shake as a huge Grimm monster had run into the tower. "Quickly Pyrrha! Hold onto me!" Pyrrha grabbed his hand while holding Cinder and they were suddenly transported from the now falling tower to the ground for safety.

"You can teleport?! That's incredible Shino! You even managed to capture Cinder. You're a real special person!" Pyrrha was amazed at his remarkable feat. Cinder on the other hand became ever more worried.

"T-Tell me. What do you truly plan on doing with me? They'll kill me if they get their hands on me!" Cinder pleaded with all her heart as she knew death awaited her if she were to face judgment for her crimes.

"I…think I have an idea." He untied the rope, to the horror of Pyrrha and the shock of Cinder. "You will be handed over, but maybe if I show you the true way to power, you can change sides." Pyrrha looked horrified by his decision.

"Do you realize what you're doing?! They might think you're in cahoots with the White Fang or Salem!" Shino turned his head in confusion, and Cinder piped in to respond.

"Salem is the Witch who can control the Grimm. She seeks to destroy everything and rule over all. That is who I am loyal to. I am shocked and scared that you, someone who might be as strong as her, decided to spare me. I don't understand how you can do this to me. Make me feel a certain way." She blushed harder before trying to sound confident. "But I guess I will take up your offer! But don't blame me if I turn sides! I'm her best soldier and she might come after me!"

"And yet here you are trying to agree to my terms." Shino smiled. He had done the impossible, but it was only a matter of time before the worst came to fruition.

"Let's go find Ruby. She'll probably have my head for this."
