Week six

Linka leaned forward as an intense wave of neasua overtook her, hot vomit hit the inside of the toilet bowl with a wet plop.

Her insides burned intensely, after dry heaving for a couple of minutes Linka's traitorous stomach finally decided to settle back down.

Knock

Knock

" Linka sweetheart is that you, it's mom. Can you please open the door"?

Linka wiped her mouth and fumbled for the bathroom door, her mother was standing in the doorway wrapped in her bathrobe with a concerned look on her face.

Rita Loud wasted little time entering the room and, putting a hand to Linka's brow " no fever, mabey it's some type of stomach bug".

Linka lowered her head and hugged her still sore abdomen, "I just woke up and I felt like I was going to get sick".

Rita cupped on of Linka's cheeks gently, " your terribly pale, I'm probably going to keep you home from school today Kiddo".

Linka visibly relaxed, " thank you mom".

Smiling softly Rita looked twords the door, " do you need some help getting to your room"?

Linka froze before she fumbled for an excuse, " I should be fine mom...I don't want to bother you anymore than I already am".

Loki popped his head into the room, his hair tossed and his face still touched by sleep. Once he saw his mom and little sister, he looked suddenly alert " is everything okay"?

Linka opened her mouth to answer but her mom beat her to speaking.

" your little sister isn't feeling good, I'm calling her off school so that she can rest".

Loki's eyes widened and now his attention was focused completely on Linka, " your not feeling good Linky"?

Loni added his two cents as he poked his head into the bathroom, " What's wrong with Linky, is she sick"?

Oh no...

Soon Luke, Lane were crowding in the doorway with the editions of Lars, Lexx, Leif, Levi and baby Leon. Lynn was back in her room, so he probably hadn't heard the commotion yet...but he would soon.

The rumblings, of several people filled the small room. Linka was grateful when her mom intervened, " Now now, boys please give your sister space. I want everyone to start getting ready for school now".

The crowd dissipated almost as fast as it gathered, Linka could see Lynn loitering in the back of the crown with a concerned look on his face.

Linka groaned into her palm's while her mother just chuckled, " you know, your brothers love you".

Rita Loud gave her daughter an additional once over, " go on, back to bed with you. I'll bring you some breakfast in a little bit, just try and get some rest.

Linka breathed a sigh of relief and booked it to her bedroom, that was definitely not how she wanted to spend her morning.

It was a free day from school, on the other hand.

Linka hadn't been completely honest with her mom, she had been feeling sick for almost a week now. It was usually only in the morning but that wasn't the only symptom.

It was almost as if someone sapped away all of her energy, Linka was tired and she had noticeable soreness and bloating in her lower belly. At first Linka had wondered if it was her period, however now she wasn't so sure.

It was probably the old sauerkraut she snacked on...yeah that had to be it. Linka had been craving some questionable food combinations and it wouldn't of been surprising if one of those concoctions had gotten her sick.

Slipping back into bed Linka started riffaling through the stack of comics next to the bed, she might as well take advantage of the situation.

The door popped open and Lynn, very stealthily entered the room. Mom had most likely told the boys to give her some space.

Lynn was dressed in his normal school clothes, and he was already wearing his jacket and backpack, " what was going on earlier"?

Linka blushed hotly, " mom caught me getting sick, I woke up and my stomach was in knots."

" your still getting sick...are you sure that this isn't something more serious Linka"?

A soft knock followed by Luke hissing into the cracked entrance, " get the Frick out of there dude, it's time to go. Leave Linka alone"!

Lynn Snorted in disgust, stopping to hug Linka before exiting the room " feel better".

After Lynn left Linka settled back in, and by the te her mom checked on her. Linka was three quarters through her favorite edition of Ace Savvy.

Her mom knocked on before entering the room, Linka could already feel her stomach growling just from the smell alone.

Her mom carried a plate with two eggs, banquet sausage and shoe string hashbrowns. All of Linka's favorites along with a tall glass of orange juice, probably the one that comes in the freezer tube but beggers can't be choosers.

" I hope your feeling better honey, Dad made your favorites. I'd you need anything else I'll be working on my manuscript downstairs".

Linka nodded at her mother, " Thanks mom, I'm practically starving".

Linka dug into her plate with little regards, shoveling the food into her mouth at an impressive speed. She couldn't help it, she was constantly hungry, and that was when she wasn't puking her guts out...

Week eight

Lynn knelt down next to Linka, holding her hair as she was violently I'll.

Over the last week this had become somewhat normal for them, Linka wasn't getting any better and she was almost certain she knew why.

It was still to early and frightening, but Lynn must of come to the same conclusion as her.

Her breasts were tender and swollen, she went up almost a up size and now she had an almost noticeable belly. Right now it looked as if Linka had a little baby fat.

It was easy to hide the slight weight gain with baggy sweaters and loose fitting skirts.

Hiding her morning bathroom activities was a new challenge, Lynn rubbed her back comfortingly whispering encouraging words " it'll be okay".

Linka almost snapped at him, things would be okay for him. Lynn's body wasn't going through radical changes, he didn't have his every activity affected because of his physical abilities.

Linka also had some very intense mood swings, tears came easier and her temper was considerably shortened.

Lynn ment well, but Linka was panicking internally. What were they going to do, they were both still in grade school and that was on top of being siblings. Their parents were going to kill them or at the very least separate them indefinitely.

Both of those thoughts kept racing through Linka's mind, it was January sixth and school wouldn't be put until the twenty sixth. Linka shouldn't of been showing yet...but it would still be risky.

They weren't even sure yet...but Linka snagged a pregnancy test from her mom's stash, so today would be the day that she knew for sure.

Lynn watched wide eyed as Linka squatted over the test and started peeing. The albino's face burned with embarrassment, Lynn had intimate knowledge of her body but it was a whole different situation to be doing this...

The box said to wait five minutes for the results, and it was the longest five minutes of both Linka and Lynn's lives.

" If it comes out positive...will you keep it I know there will be alot of complications but"...

Lynn looked like he was in pain, his face tight and his eyes filled with emotion, " I want it...it makes me feel selfish but I want the baby".

This was the first time Lynn had directly referred to it as a baby. Linka herself loved babies and small children, and after helping out with her siblings Linka knew how much work and stress a baby could be.

This baby would be half herself, and Lynn. A fact that had Linka fantasizing of little brown haired babies with freckles and a cowlick.

Linka didn't think she could bare to part with it after all this time, after feeling it grow inside of her. A part of her already loved it and that terrified Linka.

After the five minutes were up, both Linka and Lynn looked at the pregnancy test.

Positive.
