HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hello everybody and welcome to the third instalment in the Bladewolf of Destruction series. If you are new to this series, I recommend you go and read the last two entries in the series. This series starts during the very early days of the Attitude Era in late 1997 and has gone from then up to WrestleMania 16, where the last story ended. This story starts on the RAW after WrestleMania 16 in 2000 and will go straight up to WrestleMania 18 in 2002.
Also, this one marks the start of the OC/Trish Stratus pairing, which I WILL take seriously and focus a lot of attention on both on screen and off screen, unlike what I did in the last few attempts at this series. So, got nothing else much to say except that i hope you enjoy this story, review, favourite and follow.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
RAW is WAR: 3/4/2000
George walked down a hallway in the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California, where tonight's episode of RAW is WAR was live. It was early morning, the arena wasn't opened to the public yet as WWF staff and wrestlers were arriving and looking to get some practice in and check what they are doing tonight. George had been phoned by Vince while on the way from the hotel to the arena, having been told that Vince wanted to see him as soon as he arrived at the arena, so that's where George was going.
"Hey, Jeff." George called one of the backstage crew members that usually worked in setting stuff up for backstage segments or helled with building the ring up at shows.
"Hey Wolf." Jeff gave him a fist bump.
"You seen Vince's office?" George asked.
Jeff nodded and pointed down the hallway. "Go straight down, first door on the left."
"Thanks man." George told him before walking on down the hall and soon found the first door on the left, with Vince's name label on it. He knocked on it twice and heard a 'come in!' on the other side. He opened the door and entered to see Vince... with a blonde-haired woman.
"Ah, George, come in." Vince smiled, gesturing for him to enter. George did so, though he shot the woman a confused look while shutting the door before walking over.
"You wanted to see me, boss?" George asked, looking at his boss.
"Yes. First off, I'd like you to meet Patricia Stratigeas, or Trish Stratus as she's known on screen. You may recognize from what she's been doing recently as part of T&A." Vince said.
"Oh yeah." George said, turning to Patricia and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Same with you." Patricia smiled, and George noted it was quite a pretty smile... that she was quite attractive. He hasn't personally met her after she debuted in WWF back in March, but he did hear that Andrew (Test) and Matthew (Albert) had a woman with them as their valet on screen and they had a match last night at WrestleMania.
"Anyway, you know how you talked about doing something different and new for your character?" Vince asked George, who nodded. He had spoken with Vince and the creative team of something new for Bladewolf to go through after WrestleMania, a possibly character evolution. "Well, I have been thinking and decided to have a storyline angle happen between the Bladewolf and Trish Stratus, which will lead to a rivalry between the Bladewolf and T&A for Backlash. George, since you and Trish will be involved in this storyline, I was hoping you'd show her the ropes about this business."
George inhaled before he exhaled and nodded. "Yeah, sure." He said begrudgingly.
Vince dismissed them and they left his office. As soon as George shut the door, Patricia turned to him and started talking. "So, guess we're going to be working together for the foreseeable future."
"Seems so." George nodded. He wasn't 100% sure about this. His character was a silent, masked, destructive monster that was supernatural in origin and the brother of Kane and the Undertaker. He hoped this wasn't an attempt to kill his character's mystique. But then again, they put Glenn (Kane) in a romance storyline with Tri that lasted a while and the fans seemed to like it, but that fit Kane's character. For the Bladewolf it might be different. He'll just have to see what the creative team comes up with.
He just hoped it wasn't something as bad as vacating the WCW World Heavyweight Championship after Starrcade 199 because of a botched finish.
"Well, since you're gonna be hanging around me for the foreseeable future, you'll have to be involved with my circle of friends." George said, gesturing for her to follow. "Though to be fair, we're all like a big happy family but I'm more closer to guys like Triple H, the Rock, Steve Austin, Kane, Undertaker, you'll be meeting them a lot when you're hanging around me. Also, I'm going to train you and it will be hell but it will show if you're tough enough to hang around with the boys."
Patricia gave him a firm look. "Bring it on. I'll prove my worth in the WWF and show I ain't some pretty face to gawk and make flirtatious comments."
George stared at her. She had just gained a bit of his respect. He gave her a nod with a smirk before he soon walked off with patricia following him, though she exhaled quietly, trying to calm her beating heart.
'So is this what it's like speaking to your crush in person?' Patricia thought to herself as she followed him...
On screen
RAW is WAR was live at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California. It was the night after WrestleMania 16, and fans were still talking about the WWF Championship main event match in which the Bladewolf once again overcame the odds and defeated Triple H, the Rock, Big Show and Mick Foley in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination match.
Kicking off the show was Shane McMahon, who came to the ring and said that after The Rock gave his sister Stephanie the Rock Bottom and People's Elbow at WrestleMania, the "Boy Wonder" wanted a piece of the "Great One." It was Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley that came out instead. Triple H said he was so irate that he wanted a piece of The Rock as well - But he had a much bigger problem to deal with, the Bladewolf. Triple H called out the WWF Champion but it was Vince McMahon who appeared this time. Vince hugged his daughter, and then he shook hands with both Triple H and Shane as a sign of reconciliation. Vince said that he too wanted a piece of The Rock. He knew the fans him to explain his actions at WrestleMania - but since Vince didn't have to answer to anyone, he wasn't going to provide an explanation. However, he did throw a few insults at the fans in Los Angeles for good measure. He said The Rock had as much chance of becoming Federation Champion again as the LA fans had of becoming famous celebrities -no chance in hell. Vince promised that whoever faced The Rock on RAW - Vince or Shane - would drive The Rock out of the sports entertainment business and into a field he was more cut out for … waiting tables!
"Now that that's out of the way..." Triple H said. "Bladewolf! I'm calling you out right now! Come to this ring... so we cans ettle this whole thing between you and me."
"What?" JR blinked.
"the Game wants tos ettle things between him and Bladewolf?" Jerry asked as Triple h and the McMahons waited. "Do you think he'll come out.
JR shrugged. "I don't-"
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
"Yes he will!" JR exclaimed over the cheers.
The Devil's Wolf plays to a pop as the lights change to the sinister blood red and dark blue before pyro explodes on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf with the WWF Championship around his waist, making his way down to the ring.
"And here comes the man who is arguably one of the most dominant WWF Champions in the history of this business." JR said. "For 252 days he has held that title. For 252 days he has dominated every single challenger. He's beaten the Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Big Show, Mick Foley, but the biggest thorn in his side has to be Triple H. Ever since last July, Triple H has been obsessed with facing the Bladewolf for the title and has failed every time t take it from him."
Bladewolf stops at the end of the ramp, staring down Triple H and the McMahons before he gets onto the ring apron and enters the ring through the bottom rope, straightening up and staring right at Triple H as his theme dies down and the lights return to normal.
"You can feel the intensity between these two." Jerry said as Bladewolf and Triple H stared each other down.
Triple H then walks forward and goes eye to eye with the WWF Champion. "Ever since July, we have battled for that title around your waist. Every time I face you, I always come close but something gets in the way. I know I can beat you, and I will beat you. However, this has to come to an end, even I can admit and see that. Which is why I called you out here for a proposal. I want a match against you for the WWF Title tonight. But this time? We're putting all the chips down and going in. You put that title on the line against me, and if I lose... then i will never, ever again challenge you for the title as long as you are the Champion."
"What?" jerry said in shock.
"The Game is..." JR trailed off.
"Until you lose the title, you won't have to worry about me coming for that title." Triple H said as Bladewolf just stares at Triple H. The Game then offers his hand. "So what do you say?"
Bladewolf slowly looks down at Triple H's hand, then looks the man in the eye before he shakes his hand and gives a slow now, accepting the match. Bladewolf's theme plays as he leaves the ring with Triple H and the McMahons watching him go.
"It's on tonight, folks." JR said. "Triple H vs the Bladewolf for the WWF Title and if the Game loses, he can never challenge for the title again as long as the Bladewolf is the Champion. He'd have to wait until someone else wins the title in order to get a shot!"
"it's all on the line, JR!" Jerry said. "This is a must-win for Triple H if he wants to become WWF Champion for the first time in his career!"
RAW is WAR soon goes to commercial break.
The European Championship was at stake as Chris Jericho, seconded by Chyna, took on Eddy Guerrero. Jericho hit the Asai moonsault and had the match won, but the referee had been inadvertently knocked out. Chyna entered the ring and administered an unofficial three count, and then raised Jericho's hand as if he had won the match. Then she surprised everyone - including Guerrero himself - when she kicked Y2J in the midsection and delivered a DDT. She dragged Guerrero and top and threw the referee back in the ring, who made the three count and awarded the European Championship to Guerrero. After the match, the Ninth Wonder of the World gave the title to Guerrero and left with him!
In tag team competition, Road Dogg and X-Pac, with Tori, took on Test and Albert, accompanied by Trish Stratus. While the referee was distracted, Road Dogg hit a low blow on Albert, and X-Pac delivered the X-Factor for a DX victory.
Backstage, Kurt Angle complained to ring announcer Howard Finkel that the Olympic hero had lost both the Intercontinental and European Championship at WrestleMania without being pinned. When Finkel explained that those were the rules, Angle locked the cross-face chicken wing on Finkel!
One of the titles that Angle lost the previous night, the Intercontinental Championship, was up for grabs on RAW as Chris Benoit defended against Tazz. When the challenger locked on the Tazzmission, Perry Saturn came from the back and climbed to the top rope. Tazz threw Benoit into the ropes, knocking Saturn down. Tazz then delivered a head-and-arms suplex off the top rope on Saturn, who went flying out of the ring. But Saturn's distraction proved beneficial, as Benoit recovered and gave Tazz and overhead suplex into a bridge for the pin. After the match, Tazz attacked Perry Saturn.
Before the Big Show's match with Rikishi, Shane and the Show talked backstage. Show said that he and Shane are still friends and the Show is there if Shane needs him. But the Show said he kind of liked Hollywood, and he was going to go out there and "cut a rug" and become a real superstar.
Back in the ring, Michael Cole interviewed the new Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian. Edge told Cole that they could "take it from here," and they proceeded to call out the Hardy Boyz. Edge and Christian condescendingly suggested to the Hardys that there was "nothing wrong with being second best." Just when it looked like there may be a scuffle between the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian, the Dudley Boyz came out - and a melee ensued among all three teams!
Next up, Rikishi Phatu, accompanied by Too Cool, took on the Big Show. After flooring Phatu with a clothesline, Big Show proceeded to do his own version of Scotty Too Hotty's worm! Too Cool apparently didn't like the impression too much, as they ended up interfering in the match, causing a disqualification. After the match, Scotty executed the "real" worm on the Show, and then Rikishi and Too Cool danced to the delight of the crowd. Looking on from the opposite end of the entrance ramp below the Titan Tron, Big Show seemed to like what he saw.
After the break, Vince and Shane drew straws to determine who would face The Rock, and Shane ended up getting the nod. However, the "Boy Wonder" didn't seem nearly as confident about facing the "Great One" as he had earlier in the night. Meanwhile, the Big Show was back in the ring. He said that he's more than just a big, unstoppable athlete - he's also an entertainer. He asked the fans if they had seen him on "Saturday Night Live," and they agreed that he could be funny. Show said that sometimes he felt like fighting, sometimes he felt like relaxing, and sometimes he felt like …dancing! Show instructed the guys in the truck to hit the music, and the Big man proceeded to tear up the dance floor (the ring in this case). The crowded even chanted "Go Big Show" as the former Federation Champion got down.
Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed The Rock, who promised to beat Shane McMahon's ass and eventually go on to become the Federation Champion again once the Bladewolf was done with Triple H tonight.
After the controversial ending at WrestleMania, Crash Holly tried to win back the Hardcore Championship from his cousin Hardcore Holly. It looked like Hardcore had things firmly in control as he slammed his cousin over the head with a glass candy jar - just as he had done the night before at WrestleMania. But the Acolytes came from the back and put a beating on Hardcore - and threw Crash on top of him. Crash scored the pinfall and became the new Hardcore Champion. After the match, as the new Hardcore Champion retreated to the locker room, he was attacked by the Mean Street Posse, but the "Houdini of Hardcore" was able to escape with his title.
Backstage, Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty Too Hotty were talking about Big Show's dancing ability. Sexay was clearly not impressed. Later, the Big Show confronted Grandmaster - who said the Show's dancing was not that bad, but it was also not that good. Show slugged Grandmaster and splashed him through a table. He took Grandmaster's 'do rag and glasses and strutted away.
Next up, Kurt Angle took on Val Venis. Angle said that because he was taking on Val and didn't want to taint himself, he would wear sanitary rubber gloves during the match. Before he could put the gloves on, however, Val attacked him and the match got underway. Angle went up to pick up the victory by forcing Val to submit to the cross-face chicken wing.
In another singles contest, Kane, with Paul Bearer, took on Bull Buchanan, with Big Boss Man. After the Big Red Machine got the win with a chokeslam, he was double teamed by both Bull and Boss Man. The two superstars handcuffed Kane to a ringpost, and then Bull smashed his hand with a steel chair.
Next, Shane McMahon took on The Rock. Shane was joined at ringside by Vince McMahon. After The Rock tried unsuccessfully to get his hands on Vince, he chased after Shane, who ran back toward the locker room. The People's Champ finally caught him, but was attacked from behind by Triple H, who ended up throwing him into the steel ring steps. The match hadn't even officially got underway yet; when it did, both Vince and Triple H interfered liberally while the referee was distracted. When The Rock inadvertently knocked out the referee, Triple H hit The Rock with the Pedigree, but the "Great One" somehow managed to kick out at two. Frustrated, Triple H entered the ring again, as Vince and Shane ran back up the ramp to safety. Triple H initially got the upper hand on an exhausted Rock, but the People's Champ eventually hit the Rock Bottom, and a befuddled referee administered the three count. The Rock picked up a victory.
Next up was the main event for the WWF Championship.
In the arena, Triple H's theme hits to boos from the fans and out comes Triple H with Stephanie McMahon. The power couple walk down to the ring where Triple H does his usual entrance and enters the ring after tossing his water bottol into the crowd. triple H's theme soon dies down as he paces back and fourth, waiting for the Bladewolf.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The fans pop at the wolf howl as the lights go out and when they come back on... THE BLADEWOLF IS IN THE RING BEHIND TRIPLE H! Bladewolf tosses the WWF Championship to the referee as Triple H turns around into a big boot to the face from the Bladewolf while the referee quickly calls for the bell to begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf tackles Triple H into the corner and drives his shoulder into Triple H's gut several times before he drives his right fist into triple H's stomach several times. triple H starts fighting back with hard rights to the forehead but Bladewolf uppercuts Triple H in retaliation before stomping away on him then presses his boot down on Triple H's neck in the corner. the crowd starts booing and Bladewolf looks to see Vince and Shane coming down the ramp to join Stephanie at ringside. Bladewolf eyes them before he gets back to dishing out punishment on Triple H.
Bladewolf attacks Triple H with shot after shot, unleashing a fury of lefts and rights to anywhere he can hit, causing triple H to try and cover up but Bladewolf was too fast and quick as he attacked places before Triple H can block them. Bladewolf then nails an uppercut, rocking triple H, then Bladewolf drives his elbow into the side of Triple H's head, followed by a headbutt that sends Triple H to a knee. Bladewolf grabs Triple H and hits a belly-to-belly suplex across the ring.
Bladewolf bends down to grab Triple H only to receive a knee to his head, causing bladewolf to back off as Triple H gets to his feet and lands a right hand but Bladewolf was quick to retaliate as he nails triple H with a right hook, flooring Triple H who held his jaw from the sting of the punch. Bladewolf flips his hair back as he adjusts an elbow pad before he grabs Triple h, drives his knee into his ribs repeatedly before lifting him up and hits a suplex. Bladewolf gets to his feet, rebounds off the ropes and hits a leg drop across the throat of Triple H before he goes for the cover only for Triple H to kick out at one.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and looks down at Triple H before he runs, rebounds off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop to the chest of Triple H. Bladewolf pulls Triple H to his feet before wrapping his arms around his waist, picks him up then runs and drives him into the corner. Bladewolf then drives his shoulder repeatedly into the stomach of Triple H before standing up straight only to get a right from triple H, then another. Triple h hits a few right hands to the masked head of the Bladewolf then delivers a boot to the WWF Champion's stomach only for Bladewolf to nail an uppercut.
Bladewolf lands a hard right, then hits a side elbow to the body of triple H, before he Irish whips Triple H across the ring into the opposite corner and goes for a turnbuckle clothesline but Triple H ducked out of the way, causing Bladewolf to bounce off the corner and Triple H goes for an Irish whip of his own only for Bladewolf to reverse it and floor Triple H with a clothesline.
Triple H rolls out of the ring in an attempt to get away from the Bladewolf who follows him and brings a forearm down across his bac, then drives his knees into Triple H's ribs before Bladewolf rams triple H's head off the ring apron.
Bladewolf then grabs Triple h with both hands around his neck and tosses him back-first into the barricade before he stomps away on Triple H several times then delivers a hard stomp to the head of the Game, causing triple h to cutch his head.
Shane and Stephanie distract the referee as Vince comes up behind Bladewolf and tries clobbering him but Bladewolf slowly turns around and Vince goes as pale as a ghost as Bladewolf tilts his head at Vince before he uppercuts the WWF owner. Bladewolf looks down at vince before picking him up then floors him with a clothesline.
Bladewolf turns around only for Triple H to deliver a hard kick to Bladewolf;s right knee, sending the big man down. Triple H goes on the attack, aiming for the right knee as he rams it into the barricade then stomps on it several times before he hits a knee drop on the ankle, causing Bladewolf to clutch his ankle in pain. Triple H hammers away on the right knee a few times before he gets to his feet and delivers a stomp to the knee again.
Triple H grabs the right knee and... RAMS IT OFF THE RING POST! Stephanie and Shane clap from where they stand as they help their father to his feet. Triple h stomps on Bladewolf a few more times before pulling him to his feet and tosses him into the ring. Triple H gets into the ring as Bladewolf gets to his feet befor ehe suddenly runs... AND NAILS THE SPEAR ON TRIPLE H!
Bladewolf limps to his feet, his right knee in serious pain from Triple H's assault. Bladewolf flips his hair back as he raises his right hand, signalling the Chokeslam is looming when Vince gets onto the ring apron but Bladewolf punches the WWF Chairman in the face. Shane gets on the apron... AND BLADEWOLF ELBOWS HIM IN THE FACE! Bladewolf snaps his gaze to Stephanie who backs off and checks on her father and brother. Bladewolf turns around into a kick to the gut, his arms hooked... AND TRIPLE H HITS THE PEDIGREE! TRIPLE H HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AT TWO!
Bladewolf makes it to a knee when Triple h lands a punch but it does no effect on Bladewolf as Triple H keeps punching Bladewolf in the head, but all his punches seem to do is just piss off the Bladewolf who flips his hair back to glare his dark demonic hellfire eyes into Triple H's eyes. Bladewolf then uppercuts Triple H, followed by an Irish whip into the corner where Bladewolf runs and hits the turnbuckle clothesline, lifts Triple H onto his shoulder... AND HITS SNAKE EYES! Bladewolf runs, rebounds off the ropes... AND NAILS THE BIG BOOT TO THE FACE OF TRIPLE H! Triple H stumbles to his feet only to be scooped up onto Bladewolf's right shoulder then Bladewolf runs... AND HITS THE RUNNING PPWERSLAM!
Bladewolf hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THR-! Triple H kicks out at two!
Bladewolf gets to his feet, flips his hair back and adjusts his elbow pads before he raises his right hand, signalling a Chokeslam is looming. Triple H makes it to his feet and turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Triple H up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! BLADEWOLF GOES FOR THE COVER! ONE! TWO! THRE-! TRIPLE H GOT HIS FOOT ON THE ROPE!
Bladewolf sees this and gets angry as he gets to his feet before he angrily stomps on Triple H several times before he climbs to the top turnbuckle and waits for Triple H to get to his feet. Once he did, Triple H turns around and Bladewolf leaps off... AND HITS A FLYING CLOTHESL-! TRIPLE H DUCKED IT! Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns around into a boot to the gut and triple H hooks the arms up as he prepare to hit the Pedigree but Bladewolf counters by flipping Triple H over him.
Stephanie suddenly gets onto the ring apron and yells at Bladewolf, causing him to snap his gaze to her and he limps towards her but the referee gets in between them and Stephanie starts throwing a tantrum, causing the referee to turn to her. Bladewolf turns back... INTO A LOW BLOW FROM TRIPLE H! Shane slides in and holds Bladewolf's arms back as Vince runs in with the title in hand... AND CLOCKS BLADEW-! BLADEWOLF DUCKS AND VINCE HITS SHANE IN THE FACE WITH THE TITLE BELT!
Bladewolf lifts Vince onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! Bladewolf gets to his feet and turns around... AND DUCKS BEING HIT WITH THE TITLE BELT BY TRIPLE H! Triple H turns around... INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Triple h up... AND PLANTS HIM WITH A SECOND CHOKESLAM!
The crowd are on their feet as Bladewolf does the cutthroat sign, signalling the end is near as he stalks Triple H when he looks to the stage and sees... Trish Stratus?
The male fans are wolf whistling as the beautiful blonde struts down to ringside. Bladewolf tilts his head as she stands at ringside, hands on her hips with a seductive smirk on her face. Bladewolf shakes his head and turns to focus on Triple H, grabbing the Game and lifting him onto his right shoulder. Trish suddenly gets on the ring apron, causing Bladewolf to look at her and drop Triple H.
Bladewolf walks towards her, wondering why she wasn't afraid of him like everybody else was. There was no fear in her eyes as she simply stared up at him with a smirk. Trish then starts to do sexy poses in front of him and even puffs her chest out to draw his attention to her breasts. Shen then blew him a kiss before getting down from the ring apron and starts walking away, swaying her hips seductievly.
Bladewolf is then whirled around, kicked in the stomach... AND HIT WITH A PEDIGREE ON THE WWF TITLE BY TRIPLE H! Stephanie revives the referee as Triple H hooks the legs! ONE!... TWO!...THREE! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION! TRIPLE H HAS BEATEN THE BLADEWOLF!
'Ding! Ding Ding!'
Triple H's theme plays as Stephanie gets in the ring and tackles her husband in a hug, Triple H looking like he was unable to believe it. The fans couldn't believe it! Bladewolf had been dominant for nearly an entire year as WWF Champion, he seemed unbeatable... yet they just witnessed him losing the title match tonight! And it was all thank to Trish Stratus.
Triple H grabs the title and raises it as the McMahons clap and celebrate with him. RAW is WAR goes off the air with the McMahon-Helmsley Faction standing tall over the fallen Bladewolf, Triple H raising the WWF Championship...
And that's it for this chapter everyone. The Bladewolf is no longer the WWF Champion and it's all thanks to Trish Stratus. Yeah, I'm not gonna have her debut as his manager, I'm going with her original debut as part of T&A but she finds herself involved in a storyline with the Bladewolf. trust me, you'll like this. Bit of a Beauty and the Beast storyline only the Beauty is a temptress that costs the beast his title.

Bio: At a young age, George watched WWE and dreamed of being a WWE Superstar. When he was in his teens, he trained to be a wrestler, soon ending up with a gimmick, a name, and working at small wrestling shows under the name 'The Bladewolf'. In August 1997, he was approached by Jim Ross about a contract with the WWF and George accepted. He debuted at SummerSlam as a Heel, defeating Tiger Ali Singh. His heel run would be cemented as he would brutally beat up superstars, Face or Heel. Over the next several weeks, Bladewolf would defeat all his opponents and would never say a word, taking on a silent Michael Myers gimmick.
By October-November, Bladewolf began a feud with D-Generation X member Triple H, leading to a No Holds Barred match between the two at Survivor Series, which Bladewolf won. After this, Bladewolf was involved in the storyline between Kane and the Undertaker, where it was revealed that Bladewolf was in fact the younger brother of Kane and the Undertaker. After this reveal, Bladewolf joined the Undertaker, turning Face.
As 1997 reached an end, Bladewolf showed a desire to be WWF Champion and on the final RAW of 1997 he faced Shawn Michaels for the title but won by DQ, but Michaels retaiend due to titles not changing hands by a DQ.
Entering 1998, Bladewolf still desired a shot at the WWF Championship and was given the chance to be added to the Main Event at WrestleMania 14 when Vince McMahon put him into a tag team match against Vader and Marc Mero with his brother Kane being his partner. For the first time, the two brothers teamed up and showed dominance throughout most of the match and won the match, giving Bladewolf his shot at the title.
At WrestleMania 14, Bladewolf defeated Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold to win his first WWF Championship and making history by becoming the youngest Champion ever at the age of 21.
After WrestleMania 14, Bladewolf began a rivalry with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon. At Unforgiven: In Your House, the Bladewolf lost the WWF Championship to Stone Cold Steve Austin after interference from Vince McMahon and Dude Love, ending his first WWF Title reign at only 28 days. The next night on RAW is WAR, Vince McMahon refused to grant Bladewolf a rematch clause, causing him to go on a rampage all night.
On the May 18th episode of RAW, Vince McMahon gave Bladewolf a shot at the WWF Intercontinental Championship, which the Bladewolf won from the Rock in mere seconds, becoming the youngest WWF Intercontinental Champion at 21 years old. Afterwards, the Bladewolf began to participate in the King of the Ring tournament, which he won at the King of the Ring event, defeating the Rock to be crowned 1998 King of the Ring. After this, Bladewolf began a feud with the Rock and Triple H, as well as involved himself in the growing conspiracy that he, the Undertaker and Kane had reunited. At Fully Loaded, the Bladewolf defeated Triple H and the Rock to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Bladewolf continued to feud with Triple H and the Rock leading up to SummerSlam, and also reunited with his brothers to form the Brothers of Destruction. At SummerSlam, the Bladewolf defeated Triple H and the Rock to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
The next night on RAW, Vince McMahon angered the Brothers of Destruction, causing them to go on a destructive path all night long before they got their hands on McMahon thanks to the Bladewolf. On the September 6th episode of Sunday Night HEAt, Vince announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin would defend his WWF Championship at Breakdown: In Your House against the Bladewolf, the Undertaker and Kane in a Fatal 4-Way match, with the added stipulation that the Brothers of Destruction could only pin Austin to win the match, not each other.
At the event, it was basically a three-on-one Handicap match until all four men went at it with each other. However, at the end, Bladewolf, kane and Undertaker pinned Austin at the exact same time, causing the title to be vacated by Vince McMahon. the next night on RAW, Vince announced that at Judgment Day, the Bladewolf, the Undertaker and Kane would face each other in a Triple Threat match for the vacant WWF Championship and Stone Cold Steve Austin would be the special guest referee, and if Austin did not declare a new Champion then he would be fired.
At Judgment Day: In Your House, the Undertaker turned Heel when he reunited with Paul Bearer and struck his brothers with a steel chair, but Austin refused to count and delivered a Stunner to the Undertaker before he counted all three men out, making it a no contest.
After this, Bladewolf focused on his Intercontinental Championship and began a feud with Ken Shamrock, leading to a match between them at Survivor Series that the Bladewolf won. However, Bladewolf suffered an injury during the match but was able to finish the match. He lost the title to Shamrock on November 22nd episode of HEAT, ending his first Intercontinental Championship reign at 191 days. Bladewolf was then given time off to recver from an ankle injury sustained during his match at Survivor Series.
He returned at the 1999 Royal Rumble in his first Rumble match, eliminating his brother Kane but then eliminated himself in order to go help his brother with the asylum workers sent to apprehend Kane. The next night on RAW, Bladewolf came out to aid Kane against Shane McMahon and the Stooges, in which the brothers reunited and destroyed the Corporation, officially reuniting the Brothers of Destruction with themselves.
