"I want you to reach out to the force," Luke said as he and the witches were meditating in a darkened room, "What do you see?"

"I see a book, with some strange writing. Look's ancient, with a leather wrapping to it," Akko said as she had her eyes closed.

"Good, now broaden your view on the book and tell me what else you see," Luke said.

Akko focused her mind a bit more and saw something that was familiar. "This book is locked up somewhere in a museum. On a world that is familiar to us, on Earth," she said.

"Earth?" Amanda asked.

"Yeah, I see humans speaking in a language that we might at least have heard of. I see a tall tower of metal and a lady who is green," Akko answered.

"Then there you must go to find the answer you seek. Not only will this answer serves its purpose but you might be able to use the contents of the book," Luke said.

Both him and the witches opened their eyes, as they were adjusting to the darkness. They then got up from the bed and walked out of the room. "What advice can you give us?" Lotte asked.

"Help comes in many forms, as they are the tricksters, the warriors, and the chivalrous. You just have to know the difference between them all," Luke said.

Luke said goodbye to the girls as he walked up to join Leia in the command center. This left the witches to their own devices as they were still reeling in shock on how Earth is in the same universe as Star Wars.

"I still don't get it. I thought Star Wars was just created by a man who loves old space operas," Amanda said frustrated, "So how is it that Earth is an actual planet in this universe?"

"I think it all comes down to the question of which came first, the man or the world," Diana said.

"Yeah, don't forget that this world takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far far away," Akko said.

"This is still all confusing. Also you still haven't explained to me why both of you girls are generals," Amanda said, "Like, I understand, how you, Diana, became one. But, no offense Akko, I never ever seen you as a general type."

"I honestly don't know either, but I think it just all comes down to my bravery," Akko said.

"So like, how are we going back home so to speak?" Hannah asked.

"Looking through some old republic files, there was a mention of a place called Terra. It sounded a lot like Earth. The description sounded a lot like what I know of 19th century history," Diana explained, "Things like boats powered by steam and slugthrowers were observed."

"I'll be damn, well I guess that's a start," Amanda said, "But how are we going to Earth if the Empire is still controlling some parts of the galaxy."

"Well, Leia did mention a contact she knew that can help with this issue," Akko said, "Problem is that the contact is located in Ord Mantell."

"Figures, but we don't have any other options," Diana said.

"Alright, let me just let Leia know so that we can make preparations and then we will be set. Meet back at the hangar bay in 0800 hours," Akko said.

Everyone nodded as they all dispersed from the hallway.

"So Hunter, do you know anything about this new mission that Cid is giving us?" Omega asked.

The Bad Batch was walking through the dingy streets of Ord Mantel as they turned a corner. Entering an alley, one can assume that this group were soldiers of the Empire. But this is Clone Force 99, otherwise known as the Bad Batch.

"No, I don't. But it seems like the person giving us this mission is going to join us," Hunter said.

"Well, if they join us or not, I don't care. We at least have something to do instead of waiting around the ship," Wrecker said.

The Bad Batch entered Cid's cantina, which was a bit dead. The only people who were there were some human girls drinking at the bar and some aliens playing games. Walking to the back office, they saw two human girls. One was a tall light skinned girl, who had blonde hair who was standing next to the other girl. The other girl, who was sitting on Cid's chair, legs on the desk, leaning back, had dark red hair, red eyes, and was a bit small.

The blonde girl nudged her friend, who looked up and almost fell out of her chair as she realized who they were. This caused Omega to laugh a bit.

"Hunter, guys, I want you to meet General Atsuko "Blue Dragon" Kagari and her friend, General Diana Cavendish, of the Rebel Alliance," Cid greeted, "They are the ones who are giving you the mission, so please behave yourself."

"Rebel alliance?" Omega asked surprised, "What do you guys want from us?"

"We heard that Clone Force 99 can get the job done," Akko said, "Especially in more delicate missions."

"Look, before you give us the mission, I do want you to know that we are not joining this rebellion of yours," Hunter said, "We don't want the Empire to be on our butts again."

"Which my friends and I understand. That is why this mission, which if you do accept, will be far out of the Empire's reach," Diana said.

"What do you mean?' Hunter asked.

"How far have any of you guys traveled in the Unknown regions?" Akko asked.

"Excuse me?" Hunter asked.

"This mission that we have for you. It is very complex, very difficult, and one that someone might say is crazy. My friends and I need transport to a planet called Earth, or as you folks call it, Terra. Only one person was able to do this, as it was logged in their journal all the way back from the Old Republic," Akko explained.

She then took out a datacard and threw it to Hunter who caught it. Hunter then passed it to Tech who examined it and nodded that it was authentic.

"It seems easy enough for you girls to do it," Hunter said, "So why do you need us?"

"Well, too put it lightly, you guys are able to bypass Imperial scouts. Not only that, but looking through your squad's history, let's just say that this mission might pique your interest," Akko said.

"As in?" Hunter asked.

"This planet of ours, well, it's very far out and the last I remember, still haven't reached the point of space travel. Hell, even our weapons are not that advanced. But there is still going to be one difficulty that none of us can calculate," Akko said.

"Like what?" Hunter asked.

"What do you guys know about time travel?" Diana asked.

"What?" Hunter asked

"Time travel, traveling to a certain time period?" Diana asked.

"That is highly impossible. How can someone travel through time?" Tech asked.

"It is not about how someone can travel through time, but what time period that person travels too," Akko said.

"If you take a look at the data card we gave you, the person had log that when they landed on Terra, he saw humans dressed in weird outfits, carrying slugthrowers and using steam power inventions to move across the ocean and land. He also took note that even though the humans used technology, they also relied on horses to get from one place to another. Although his last entry was not finished as he got arrested for reasons he didn't log," Diana explained, "Now using the information we had and going through our world's history, we were able to deduce that the person had landed during the 1800s, which was a time period of cowboys, Indians, the American Wild West, and even imperialism around the world. There were also a lot of bloody wars that occurred there."

"What my friend here is trying to say is that we do not know what time period we will be landing, and if we are not careful we might get ourselves killed," Akko said.

"And you need muscle," Wrecker said.

"Exactly, you see, if we do end up during the time of the American Frontier or worse, my friends and I will have a much harder time. You see people during that time period did not take so kindly to our kind," Diana said.

"What will be the pay?" Hunter asked.

"You guys will be paid handsomely of course, courtesy of the Rebellion. Not only that, but depending on the time period that we are familiar with, you guys can get food, supplies, and if we are lucky, weapons," Akko said.

Hunter was thinking it through, as did the rest of the Bad Batch. Even though this mission does seem risky, they do need the supplies and money.

"Let my team and I talk it through," Hunter said, as he exited out of the office, with his team following him.

"Do you think they will help us?" Diana asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure they will," Akko said, as she leaned back on the chair, "Hey D, can you get the rest of the girls so we can have a meeting?"

"Yes, Akko," Diana said.

"So, what do you guys think?" Hunter asked.

"Their mission seems highly implausible," Tech said.

"How so?" Hunter asked.

"Well, there is no planet here listed under the name Terra or Earth as they said," Tech said, "And if it does exist like they say it does, how are we able to find it without any maps?"

"That I do not know, but those girls might know a way," Hunter said.

"I don't trust those girls," Wrecker said.

"You don't trust them?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah, I don't know what it is, but it seems like they are hiding something. What they said about time travel and their kind, seems a bit suspicious to me," Wrecker explained.

Tech took out a datapad and started scrolling through it. Finding what he needed, he said, "Well supposedly General Cavendish and General Kagari are witches," Tech said as he was reading something off the tablet.

"Witches?" Omega asked in shock.

"Yeah, not a lot is known about them other than Kagari turning into a dragon of sorts during the Battle of the Death Star. She is also known to create big monsters as it's stated in an Imperial log here," Tech explained.

"No wonder I have a bad feeling about them," Wrecker said.

"Well, the good news is that they do have a moral high ground as they help civilians throughout the galaxy," Tech said.

"Is there anything else on them?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah, apparently a Jedi is training them. Interesting, it looks like this Jedi is none other than the son of General Anakin Skywalker," Tech said.

"Aren't the Jedi extinct?" Omega asked.

"Most are but there is still a small minority that is alive. Although most of them do not really practice the way of a Jedi. But it seems that now the son of Anakin Skywalker is practicing in the way of the Jedi and he is showing it to these witches," Tech explained.

"That is a bit reassuring," Hunter said.

"I do wonder what they are looking for though. It doesn't seem they are going to this Earth to explore and chart it. Instead, I feel they are in search of something or someone," Omega said.

"That is something we would have to ask them, also adding to how are even going to find this planet," Hunter said.

"If we don't take this mission, we don't know how long until we get another one with the same payment and rewards. If we do, we won't know what kind of risks we will be taking," Echo interjected.

"Echo has a point, the bounty we will receive seems greater than any other missions we will take. But at the same time, we don't know if these witches will curse us or not," Wrecker said.

"I trust them, they don't sound like they will do anything bad to us nor do they sound like they will plot against us. And plus, the reward sounds better than what we have been receiving from Cid," Omega said.

"Let's put it to a vote then, those who want to take this mission raise their hand," Hunter said. Omega, Tech, and Echo raised their hands. Wrecker, thinking through all of the options, begrudgingly raised his hand.

"Then it's settled, I will let the generals know we accept the mission," Hunter said as he walked back towards the bar.

As he walked inside, Hunter noticed that Akko and Diana were talking to some other girls. Akko took notice of the clone veteran and waved him over. Hunter walked over and saw the surprise faces of some of the girls.

"General Cavendish, General Kagari, my team and I will happily accept this mission. However, we do want to know what the end goal is?" Hunter asked.

"End goal?" Akko asked, confused.

"What is your objective, cause it seems that this mission is not about exploring uncharted lands," Hunter explained.

"Oh that. Well, we will explain everything after we finish up with the preparations," Akko said.

"If my team and I are going on this mission with you girls, we would want to know what we are getting ourselves into," Hunter said.

"Look, if we tell you what we are looking for, you would not believe us," Akko said.

"Is this something that has to do with witches?" Tech asked as he walked inside the bar, joining Hunter. He was followed by the rest of the Bad Batch.

"Heh, I see someone did some research on us," one of the girls said, drinking out of her glass.

"So it does have something to do with your culture as witches," Tech said surprised.

"Well might as well explain what we are looking for to them since they already agreed, Akko," another girl said.

"Yeah, might as well," Akko said, "To make a long story short, my friends and I have are from a different universe. Or supposedly it was a different universe. You see, our world perceives this world as a work of fiction, coming from the mind of a man who wanted to do a film based on serials he enjoyed as a kid. It wasn't until my friends here came and rescued us. They received help from an old Jedi Master named Yoda. He somehow was able to come into our universe to help them out. Because of that, it caught all of our interest. It changes the way we perceived this world and our world and makes us think there is more than what meets the eye. So after some training from Luke Skywalker, my friends and I have learned there is this book of sorts that, well, details a lot of ancient magic that none of our professors had taught us or even know about. This book is called the Liber Mundorum, an ancient book that teaches the reader not only how to travel worlds, but among other advanced forms of magic that might help the Rebellion out with defeating the Empire."

"You expect us to believe we are being hired to look for this magic book. That is a weird fairy tale you girls are living in," Hunter said.

"Believe it or not, you are still getting paid to do some work. My friends and I will be making final preparations. We will be expecting you and your team in 0300 hours. You have agreed to this job, so at least let's see this through together," Diana said.

Akko raised her glass and said, "Clone Force 99, girls, we all are about to embark on a quest of a lifetime to not only see if traveling between worlds by magic is real but also traveling to our home world. We all are about to finally understand the true nature of the force and the real reason why us, witches, are here. We will finally get the answers we've been dying to know ever since we arrived here. As a playwright from our world once said, 'Favor fortunes the bold.' So can I get an aye?"

"Aye," all the girls cheered.

"I can't believe we are going to be teaming up with witches," Omega said in awe.

"I still have a bad feeling about this," Echo said.

"Me too," Hunter said.
