Back at the Studio, the three V's were investigating the evidence left behind by last night's escape.
Vox was looking over the feather Val held in his index and thumb, "Heh… It's the Radio Demon's Cat, the one that looks like a magician."
"Are you sure, Voxxy?" Val asked.
"Yeah, I've seen him mess up some demons," Vox replied. "He seems to be his muscle."
Valentino scoffed and said, "Seems like Alastor has enough power to do that on his own."
"Too bad the bastard didn't come himself," grumbled Vox.
"You might get your chance," Valentino said. "If his contractor took Cherri, then it stands to reason that she's with him currently."
"Maybe she'll be worth it after all," Vox said with a wicked smile.
"I told you my baby girl is worth more than a billion bucks," Valentino gushed.
"We need to actually find them first," Velvette reminded her friends.
"I know," Valentino said with a sigh. "I've heard rumors that Alastor has a secret manor somewhere. Any idea where that is?"
"Most likely with the Cannibals," Vox replied. "He has plenty of friends there."
"Are you sure?" Valentino asked. "That's not the kind of place I imagine that Cherri would like to hang out. Is there anywhere else Alastor would have taken her?"
"Jacking off in some swamp for all I know," Vox replied with a shrug. "The Radio Demon ain't public about those kinds of things. We'll need to find someone who has the information."
"I'll put out the word to get someone to come forward with info, Val," said Velvette. "I'll set the bounty high, so it shouldn't take long."
"Good," Valentino said staring pensively ahead as he sat down on the chair opposite Vox.
"What's the matter, honey?" Vox asked in concern.
"Voxxy, why does Cherri hate me?" asked Valentino.
"You do things she doesn't like, you've hurt people she likes, stuff with her mom…" Vox said, listing off reasons on his fingers, before pausing, looking at Val's trouble face, and sighing. "She can't hate you forever."
"If you say so," Val said with a sad sigh. "I've convinced thousands upon thousands of hoes into doing my bidding, but with her, I am clueless. There's gotta be something I can do to make her mine again."
"Well, she isn't one of your bitches," Vox reminded him.
Valentino smiled and said, "Her mother was. At first, then she turned on me when she decided she didn't like it anymore, blackmailed me, and stole my daughter from me."
"Point stands, she isn't one of them," Vox pointed out.
"That's for damn sure," Valentino said with a sigh. "But how do I win her over?"
"Hard to say," Vox said, picking at his screen where his teeth were.
"I say we need to find her first and worry about that later," Velvette chimed in.
"Agreed," Vox conceded. "How would you like to proceed, baby?"
"Any word from the bounty hunters yet?" Valentino asked.
Vox checked his phone and said, "Not yet. But I just got an idea. What if she's hiding with Angel where she lives?"
"Yeah?" Valentino prodded him on.
"Where does Angel live?" Vox asked.
"As far as I can remember, some dingy apartment like Cherri's…-Wait!" Valentino paused and placed a finger to his mouth in thought. "No, there was that small news about him in that redemption hotel the princess is running. Assuming he's just squatting there for free space."
"Do you think Cherri could be there?" Vox asked.
"It's the best lead we have right now," replied Valentino.
Vox smirked and asked, "Are you really ready to start a fight with the Princess of Hell? She isn't her old man, but Katie Killjoy can attest that she can put up a Hell of a fight when she wants to."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that, honey," said Valentino.
"Recording that fight might be fun," pushed Velvette.
"Not if one of us dies," reminded Vox.
"Fine, be that way then," conceded Velvette.
"So, you want to head over there?" asked Vox.
"Yes, bring the car around," ordered Valentino.
