Hi everyone! I'm back with a new chapter. I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 13: Daily Shenanigans, Part 2

After Bandit and I had our *ahem* ice blocks, he, unfortunately, had to get back to work; however, right around the same time Chili and the sisters soon returned from shopping, so I guess there's that. I helped the girls unload and set everything in the kitchen (gosh, how do they manage to carry all this food up and down the stairs from the car all the time!? It's exhausssting! Or, as Bingo amusingly puts it *this is TRIFFICULT!*

It doesn't take too much time to put everything away…and I guess I am way too bored at the moment, so I went to see what the sisters were up to. They were in the playroom: trying to figure out what to play. Bingo herself was quite restless like me at the moment. She was moving some of her toys on her side of the turf (while holding onto one of her favorite plushies: Graydancer, which is a purplish dolphin plush.) Occasionally, the five-year-old orange Heeler would make conversations with Graydancer, even when Bluey and I were around. Her older sister looked at me and shrugged before I rolled my eyes, and she kept on looking for a game to play.

I walked over to Bingo with curiosity projecting from my black eyes, "what are you two talking about?" I sat down across from her. The "pup" had been kneeling…holding the plush with her arms out and whatnot, and now she looked toward me with a smile and said, "Graydancer wants to play with us!"

Bluey had been listening in: noting the distinct interaction her sister was having with her "friend." And sure enough, an idea crossed her, and her eyes lit up with excitement, "F-Faceytalk!"

"Yeah!" Bingo exclaimed, agreeing immediately…holding an arm out.

I, meanwhile, was lost, "uhh, what?" I had said in total confusion.

Bluey giggled and hopped over, quite hyper. The blue dog appeared amused over the fact I didn't know what she was talking about. Consequently, this inspired her to keep me in the dark long enough to show me what she meant. With haste, she grabbed my brown arm and led me out as Bingo followed behind. I am taken to Chili Heeler who catches us as we enter the room she is in.

"Mom…mom! Can we do Faceytalk?"

The former put her paws on her hips in a playful manner and raised an eyebrow in response, "ah, I dunno kids…"

Bingo jumped forward to be beside her older sibling as I looked at them: their eyes grew…almost as if I could see stars in them…they're begging…oh boy. I had to chuckle at this, the look the two were giving is irresistible! Sure enough, the mother rolled her eyes and nodded, "alright, who'd you like me to call?"

Bluey thought about it, the last time they did Faceytalk it was with their cousins, it's been a while since she called up her best friend: Chloe!

The seven-year-old smiled, telling her mother who to call, and sure enough: the adult Red Heeler went to get a small tablet. Once she did Bluey gave a slight frown to the former, "mom, I can't find her on the list!"

I stepped in just as Chili did as well and that's when I realized what Bluey had in mind: to do Facetime with somebody…she could have just said it, but I guess that was the fun in it, heh.

"There" Chili smiled, finding Chloe's name in the list and she let her daughter press the screen. It started to ring as the mother went to continue her chores (while supervising us from a distance.)

The girls sat down, laying against their bellies on the cold wooden floor before I sat behind them in a butterfly pose. The tablet was trying to reach Bluey's friend (an icon of the Dalmatian could be seen with the red disconnect button below it.)

Finally, what I assumed to be Chole's parent, a male Dalmatian, appeared on the other end. They give a smile to us and wave, "hey kids!"

"Hi Chole's dad! Can we talk to Chole!?" Bluey and Bingo asked in unison.

"Yeah, yeah! Lemme get her for 'ya!" He said, pulling away as the sisters giggled. He leaned forward to join their momentary glee with a smile, "so, she's a close friend?"

"She's my best friend, actually" Bluey pushed me away in jest.

"Okay, okay…BEST friend, sorrrrry!" I rolled my eyes to her as Bingo giggled in response. Sure enough, we see a smaller Dalmatian appear and grab the tablet. They waved to us as we waved back.

"Hi Bluey, hi Bingo! Who's this?" She asked with a calm demeanor.

Bluey reached her arm behind me and pulled me closer to her as she closed her eyes with a grin, "they're called Dustin, they're staying with us!"

"Wicked! Hi, Dustin!" She waved again as I returned the gesture.

"Chole, wanna play sing-along!?" Her best friend inquired before the former nodded. Bingo looked excited too.

And so, the girls discussed what song to sing as I watched in the background…not really able to make an input. I went to go talk to Chili for a minute as the girls continued their discussion. It was not long before my cone-shaped ear moved to the side as I heard Bluey call out to me, "Dustin, come 'ere!"

I looked back to Chili who held back a giggle and gestured me to go. I did and I made it back to the girls to see they had selected a song from their devices. The title read, Space Unicorn by Parry Gripp.

I, understandably, gave a confused look and I didn't know what to do. I never heard this song before…judging by the title I assume it's a song for kids?

"Ready?" Bluey asked Chole then to us. Both the Dalmatian and Red Heeler barked excitedly in response, and I looked behind me to see Chili encouraging me to join in (despite the fact I don't know the lyrics.) I gulped…now I'm going to look like a fool. I took a deep breath as the overly popish song started and I am surprised to see the lyrics actually appearing on screen (oh, thank goodness!)

The three began singing as I was behind them, trying to keep up. They obviously heard and sang this song multiple times before...so yeah.

I tried to keep up and by the middle of the song the other three were giggling (a cuteness overload if I may say so myself.) I decided to join in for the heck of it before we continued singing the rest of the song.

Once the song was done, I heaved a sigh, "thank goodness it's over."

The other three just laughed at my comment, they knew I was uncomfortable not following the song as they did. Still, Bluey and Bingo both patted me as a sign of encouragement, "it's alright, Dustin! Maybe there's a song in there that you know!" Bingo suggested as I thought about it.

"Do you girls mind if I check?" I asked as the girls shook their heads and I pulled myself forward to scroll through the list of songs as Chole was idle in the corner of the screen.

I couldn't find any that I recognized, and I just pulled back and sighed, bringing my arms inward as I admitted defeat. The girls felt bad but decided to end the singing session there and just chat. The way Chole and Bluey talked to one another you could definitely tell the two greatly admired the other. Bingo and I ultimately decided to chat for a while: pretending to have a three-way conversation with her plushie Graydancer.

It isn't long before the Dalmatian on the other line barked at an idea that brewed in her mind, "we should go to the park tomorrow, Bluey!"

"Yeah, yeah…sounds great! I'll ask mum!" She said, standing up to ask and Chili considered it, but for now she wanted to end the call since it was getting late, "alright girls, I'll talk with your dad to see if we can go to the playground after school."

Bluey groaned, but did what she was instructed, waving goodbye to her Best friend as Chole did the same, "see you!"

"Bye Bluey, bye Bingo, bye Dustin!" We waved back.

Once the call ends, Chili takes the tablet and rubs the top of her eldest daughter's head. We decided to get ready for dinner (or is it called tea?)

I stopped myself and thought about tomorrow…I've already met some other members of Bluey's posse…could be fun to hang around. I haven't spent much time in a playground…it'd be interesting just how I handle all that as a seven-year-old again. It'll probably be wicked fun.

Unknown to me and everyone…tomorrow would turn out to be a fateful day…
