After Ji Hoo's return from Paris, he began to act strange. He normally enjoys going to parties and enjoying himself with women around him, all to forget his heartbreak. His friends noticed this, and they suggested going on a short vacation to New Caledonia. Ji Hoo hesitated at first but eventually agreed to go. The trip would be a breath of fresh air for him, and that night when he went to sleep, he had a dream that changed everything. In his dream, he saw himself walking on a beach with a woman he had never met before. She had a smile that could light up the whole world, and her eyes were as bright as the sun.

"Here," she said, handing him a wrapped napkin from her bag. "This is osmanthus rice cake. Have a taste, and you will find me," she said with a mysterious glint in her eye. Ji Hoo unwrapped the napkin and took a bite of the cake. It was unlike anything he had ever tasted before, with a delicate sweetness that lingered on his tongue. Suddenly, he felt a rush of warmth spread through his body, and he knew that he had found what he had been searching for all along.

"What's your name?" He asked, turning back to the girl, but all he saw was darkness, and he was back in his bedroom. Ji Hoo couldn't shake the feeling that he had just experienced something otherworldly. The cake had been more than just a dessert; it had been a portal to another realm.

The following morning…

Ji Hoo and his friends sat in their lounge during recess. His mind kept wandering back to the girl he saw in his dream. He hadn't seen her face, but her smile and her eyes, along with her voice, were something Ji Hoo couldn't forget. As he sat lost in thought, his friend nudged him and asked if he was okay.

Ji Hoo shook his head and said, "I had a dream about a girl last night, and I can't stop thinking about her."

"Did you see her face?" Yi Jung asked, getting interested in his friend's dream.

"I didn't," Ji Hoo replied, "but her smile and her eyes were so vivid. And her voice—it was like music to my ears." Yi Jung chuckled. "Sounds like you're smitten, my friend." Ji Hoo rolled his eyes. "I know it sounds silly, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm supposed to meet her." "Well," Yi Jung said with a grin, "maybe fate will bring you two together. Until then, let's focus on enjoying our recess." Ji Hoo nodded and tried to push the dream out of his mind. "Can I have some snacks?"

"These snacks were made by one of our maids at the house." Jun Pyo said this and placed a white petal plate in front of him. "Try them. These are steamed rice cakes."

Ji Hoo looked at the cakes, which had a flower petal shape. He took one and bit into it. The texture was soft and fluffy, and the taste was sweet with a hint of coconut. "These are delicious," he said, taking another one. Jun Pyo smiled, pleased with his friend's reaction. "The cake looks rather ordinary, but it has an elegant taste—I can't seem to explain the uniqueness it has; it's like I was dying and then I came back to life after tasting it." Ji Hoo said, chuckling.

"Is it the same girls that made these?" Yi Jung asked, taking a bite of his own.

Jun Pyo nodded. "Yes, it's them, and they will be coming with us to New Caledonia to cook for us." Yi Jung raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"Really? That's quite a feat. I've never tasted anything like this before. They must be incredibly talented."

"They are," Jun Pyo replied, with a hint of pride in his voice. "They're not just great cooks; they're also amazing people. They've been through a lot, but they never let it get them down. They have this incredible spirit that just shines through everything they do."

Ji Hoo nodded in agreement. "I can see why you're so taken with them, Jun Pyo. They're truly special." Jun Pyo smiled warmly at his friends.

"Yes, they are. And I'm lucky to have them in my life." He took another bite of the rice cake and savored the flavors on his tongue. "I can't wait for you guys to meet them and taste their other dishes."

Yi Jung grinned mischievously. "Well then, we better start preparing."

New Caledonia...

"Seo Hyun, why did you choose him over me?" he said as he lay in the water. "You know he will never love you and commit to you like me."

"Since you have decided to leave me, I shall end my life in this water. And the love that I have will die with me," he said, closing his eyes and allowing the seawater to drown him.

And as he began losing his life, he felt a gentle voice call him. "Sir," it said while performing CPR on him.

"Ji Hoo, wake up," his friends' voices called him. And then soft lips touched his lips, breathing life into his lungs. Three more mouthfuls, and he opened his eyes and saw a girl with long, wet black hair tickling his face.

"Are you OK?" She asked as she continued to rub his chest.

That voice sounds familiar, and the eyes look like those of the girl from my dream.

Ji Hoo nodded weakly, still in shock from the near-death experience. He couldn't believe he had almost committed suicide and that a stranger had saved his life. He looked around and saw that he was on a beach, surrounded by people who loved him—his friends.

"Hey, you weed, go get a towel for my friend," Jun Pyo lashed out at her while she had her eyes on the most handsome man she had ever seen. His long chestnut hair was wet, and his eyes, his long nose, and his full pink lips were soft. 'He's so handsome,' she thought. Her eyes traveled to his long neck, and then to her hands that rested on his bare chest, which looked soft yet muscular.

And surprisingly, Ji Hoo couldn't take his eyes off her as well. She had long, flowing hair that cascaded down her back in soft waves. Her eyes were a deep shade of brown, and they sparkled with kindness and warmth. Her smile was infectious, and it lit up the entire beach if possible. Ji Hoo felt drawn to her as if he had known her his whole life. Jan Di snapped her head.

"Yes, young master," she replied, and she rushed to the cabin to get a towel. Her heart was racing with excitement and fear.

When she returned, Ji Hoo was already sitting on the beach chairs while Ga Eul attended to him. As she handed him the towel, their hands brushed against each other, sending shivers down his spine. "What's your name?" he asked.

"She's Geum Jan Di; she is a maid at my apartment," Gu Jun Pyo replied, annoyed. He didn't like the way Ji Hoo was staring at her—she was just his maid; why would someone like Yoon Ji Hoo look at a lowlife like her?

"Gu Jun Pyo?" Ji Hoo said this while his gaze was still locked on Jan Di, who stood beside another girl who had served him tea.

The two girls were wearing the same white off-shoulder mini beach dresses. "What's your name?" he asked Jan Di again, while Woo Bin and Yi Jeong exchanged grins as they waited for the girl to answer.

"Geum...Geum Jan Di," she replied, bowing her head. "And this is Chu Ga Eul; she is my best friend, and we work with her." Ji Hoo nodded in acknowledgment; his eyes still fixed on Jan Di. There was something about her that intrigued him—something that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

"Do you have tea snacks?" he asked.

"Yes," Jan Di replied. "Ga Eul, serve the tea; I will go get the snacks."

Jan Di left while Ga Eul began preparing tea that was suitable for the summer season. Ga Eul enjoyed using her environment to brew fresh tea, and today she was making a special blend of green tea with mint leaves and a hint of lemon. This tea was perfect for the hot weather and would complement the snacks that Jan Di was bringing. She began serving the tea while she waited for her friend to bring out the snacks she enjoys making in her free time. As she worked, Ji Hoo couldn't help but admire her grace and poise, but that wasn't his interest; his interest was Geum Jan Di, who carried a unique aura with her that he found irresistible.

Two minutes later, Jan Di returned with three other maids that worked on the island. They stood before the F4 and waited for them to make their choice of snacks. "So," Ji Hoo said, his eyes lingering on the glaze-flowered plate Jan Di was holding. "What snacks did you prepare?"

Jan Di smiled and placed the plate before him, unconsciously standing in between his legs. "I made osmanthus rice cakes, sir," she said, her voice soft and melodic. "I made them in a traditional Chinese style," she explained "Have a taste, sir. I'm sure you'll love them."

Ji Hoo took a bite and began to recall that it had the same taste as his dream. He couldn't believe that he was actually eating the same snack that he had dreamed about. The osmanthus rice cakes were soft and chewy, with a subtle sweetness that lingered on his tongue.

"It's the same taste as my dream," he said, opening his eyes.

"Dream?" Gu Jun Pyo asked, surprised. "So, you mean you dreamt of this very cake? There is nothing special about it." He took a bite, savoring the taste.

"These cakes may seem ordinary to someone like you," Yi Jung chimed, taking a bite. "But out of all the cakes I have ever eaten, this cake is simple yet elegant, with a taste that transports me to a different world. It's like a burst of sunshine on a cloudy day or a warm hug from a loved one when you need it the most."

Jun Pyo chuckled, shaking his head. "You always have a way with words, Yi Jung. But I must admit, there is something special about this cake. It's like it has the power to bring back memories and emotions that we thought were long gone." Yi Jung nodded in agreement. "That's the magic of food, my friend. It can connect us with our past and present and even shape our future. And this cake is no exception."

"Thank you," Jan Di said, drawing away from Ji Hoo, who seemed to be enjoying her closeness. "And the golden Jujube can also complement the tea my best friend made. It is fresh with a unique taste that adds a touch of sweetness to the tea. Jujubes are from the seven states in the south of China; please have a taste." This time, she placed the plate in front of Woo Bi and his Russian girlfriend.

"How about me? Don't you want me to taste them?" Ji Hoo asked jokingly, but deep down he wanted to hear her opinion.

"Oh, sorry, sir," she said. "I thought you were enjoying the cakes."

Ji Hoo chuckled and took a Jujube from the plate. As he bit into it, he could taste the sweetness that complemented the tea perfectly. He couldn't help but agree with his best friend's recommendation. The golden jujube was truly a unique fruit that added a touch of elegance to any dish or drink.

"I like whatever you've made." He mattered softly in her ear with a mischievous smile on his face while surprising his friends.

His friends laughed and rolled their eyes, knowing Ji Hoo's playful nature. "Well, I'm glad you approve," she replied with a smile. "I'll have to make sure to bring more jujubes next time."

"In my room, tonight?" he said softly once more in her ear.

Jan Di blushed and walked away immediately. She knew Jun Pyo's friends were of high class, and them taking an interest in a maid like her was like asking for doom.

Ga Eul followed her best friend when she noticed how she was getting uncomfortable with the boys, especially Yi Jung. He had been staring at her, making subtle winks here and there.

"Ji Hoo-ah, stop it; she is just a maid." Jun Pyo did not like the fact that Ji Hoo had taken an interest in his maid.

"Bro, you can have her after all; her master mistreats her," Woo Bin and Yi Jung suggested, followed by grins.

"Can I make her my maid?"

"No way," Jun Pyo said objecting. "She is mine alone…nobody can take her away."

She couldn't risk being caught in a compromising situation with Ji Hoo or any of Jun Pyo's friends. Jan Di tried to focus on her work, but her mind kept wandering back to Ji Hoo's whispered invitation. She couldn't deny the attraction she felt towards him, but she knew it was best to keep her distance. As the day went on, Jan Di found herself constantly bumping into Ji Hoo. He seemed to be everywhere she turned, always flashing that mischievous smile, and making her heart race. She tried to ignore him, but it was impossible. Finally, as the day ended, Ji Hoo caught up with Jan Di in the hallway.

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable earlier," he said sincerely. "I just can't help myself around you. You remind me of a girl I dreamt of."

You will lose something important as a woman.

The fortune teller's words rang in her head as she glanced at Ji Hoo, who stood taller than her. "Did she look like me?" she asked him.

"I didn't get to see her face; all I remember is the cake, her smile, her eyes, her lips, and that fruity body scent," he said, leaning toward her neck, placing his nose on her soft skin, and breathing in her scent. "The same fruity scent of cherries that you are wearing."

Jan Di blushed at his words, but she kept her distance from him. "We've just met. And I am the maid of your friend; I don't want to be the cause of your quarrel with him."

"And your eyes are warm like the sunshine on a summer day," he continued, ignoring her reluctance. "I know we just met, but I feel like I've known you forever. Can't we just enjoy this moment and worry about the consequences later?" Jan Di hesitated, but the intensity in his eyes made her heart skip a beat. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to indulge in a little bit of fun for once.

"I'm leaving then," she said, bowing as she walked away. She felt him pull her back gently.

"Do you have wine, Jan Di?" he asked, a mischievous grin on his face. "I would like to taste the traditional wine of Chinese; did you make some?"

"It's in the kitchen; I will get it for you."

Jan Di led Ji Hoo to the massive kitchen on the island. She opened the cabinet and grabbed a small black pot tied with a red piece of cloth on it. "This is peach wine," she said, handing it to him. "I'm sure Gu Jun Pyo won't mind if you had it." Ji Hoo took the pot and uncorked it, taking a whiff of the sweet aroma. "This smells amazing," he said, pouring himself a small glass. "Thank you for this; I really needed it."

...

Ji Hoo walked off from the kitchen and went to a secluded place to drown his sorrows—the sorrows of Min Seo Hyun with another man. He sat down on a bench and sipped the peach wine, feeling the warmth spread through his body. Memories of his past with Seo Hyun flooded his mind, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. She had been like his mother when he became an orphan; she had been his best friend, and she had been the love of his life. But now she was with someone else, and he was left alone with nothing but a glass of peach wine to comfort him. He wished this wine could take away the pain he was feeling, but he knew it was only temporary relief. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, reminding himself that he needed to move on and find happiness in his own life. It was time to let go of the past and embrace the present.

"Embrace the present," he said, lying on the sand of the beach while looking at the stars twinkling in the sky and closing his eyes.

Jan Di followed Ji Hoo after he took the wine from her. She followed him down the bridge to an old boat. He was drinking too much, and she knew he needed someone to talk to but didn't have the guts to go there. She decided to keep her distance and maybe protect him from afar while he got himself drunk. And when she saw him stagger and fall to the sand, she rushed to him and knelt beside him. She could feel the warmth of the sand beneath her knees as she looked at him, his eyes closed and his breathing heavy. She wondered what was going through his mind as he lay there, lost in his own thoughts. Was he thinking about his past, or was he dreaming of a better future? Jan Di couldn't tell, but she knew that whatever it was, it must have been weighing heavily on him. She gently placed her hand on his chest and felt the steady rise and fall of his breaths. It was a peaceful moment, just the two of them under the stars, with nothing but the sound of the waves crashing against the shore in the background.

"Jan Di," he said, holding her wrists and startling her. "Where are my cakes?" he asked in a flirty tone, rising and sitting up. "I want to still eat some."

"I will help you back to your room." Jan Di said, wrapping her arms around his waist as he supported his weight. "Why did you drink so much?"

"Do you want to get in my bed?" Ji Hoo asked, his eyes blurry and his voice heavy from too much wine drinking. "Can you help me forget her, Jan Di?"

Jan Di frowned at his words. She didn't know who he was talking about, and maybe he wanted to forget someone who had hurt him. But she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with his proposition. She gently pushed him away and shook her head. "No, Sir. You're not thinking clearly right now. Let's get you some water and let you rest."

Ji Hoo stumbled a bit before nodding his head in agreement. Jan Di guided him back to his room, making sure he didn't trip or fall along the way. Once they reached his bed, she helped him sit down and handed him a glass of water. "Thank you," Ji Hoo said, taking a sip of the water before placing the glass on the nightstand. "I'm sorry for asking that earlier. I don't know what came over me." "It's okay," Jan Di reassured him with a smile. "We all have moments where we say things we don't mean when we're not ourselves." Ji Hoo nodded in understanding before rising from his bed and locking but not closing.

"Why did you lock the door?" she asked with panic in her voice. Ji Hoo turned to face her with a serious expression on his face. He began making slow, deadly steps toward her, causing Jan Di to take a step back in fear.

"I need to tell you something," he said in a low voice. "In private," he added as he approached her, cupping her face in his hands and leaning in close. Jan Di's heart was pounding in her chest as she looked up at him, unsure of what he was about to say.

"Sir..." she continued panicking. Ji Hoo interrupted her, saying, "Jan Di, please calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. I just need to talk to you about something important." Jan Di took a deep breath and nodded, still feeling uneasy but willing to listen.

"I want to spend a night with you," he stated bluntly, his eyes searching hers for a reaction. Jan Di's heart skipped a beat as she processed his words.

"Sir," she said, pulling away from him. "You are still drunk." She turned to walk away, but she felt herself gently hitting the door, and he was pinning her to the door using his body. Jan Di's mind raced as she tried to process what was happening. She couldn't believe that her boss's friend, the heir of the Yoon empire and an upright man, was making such a bold and inappropriate request. She struggled to push him away, but his grip only tightened on her wrists. "Please, sir," she pleaded, her voice trembling. "This is not appropriate. I can't do this."

"Relax," he said, kissing her forehead. "Just relax and enjoy the moment. You're so beautiful, Jan Di. I can't resist you." Jan Di's heart sank as she realized that she was trapped in a dangerous situation. "Listen to your body language," he said, grounding his hips against hers.

She tried to scream, but he covered her mouth with his hand. "Shh, shh," he whispered. "Don't fight it. You know you want this as much as I do." Jan Di's mind raced; her body had never received such a sensation, and before she knew it, she was doing what he was doing to her, her arms around his neck, her eyes closed in pleasure.

Ji Hoo lifted her from the ground and laid her gently on his bed while he lay on top of her, his lips trailing down her neck. Jan Di's heart raced as she surrendered to the passion that consumed her. She knew what they were doing was wrong, but at that moment, nothing else mattered. Ji Hoo's hands roamed over her body, igniting a fire within her that she had never felt before.

"I want you," he said, trapping her body with his own. Jan Di gasped as he kissed her deeply, his tongue exploring every inch of her mouth as his hands massaged her breasts, and in that moment of fighting pleasure, she felt a sharp pain—pain she had never felt before. She pulled away, gasping for air, and Ji Hoo looked at her with concern.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his hands still on her body. Jan Di shook her head, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over her. She had never been so vulnerable with anyone before, and now she was experiencing something she couldn't explain. Ji Hoo's eyes softened as he saw the fear in her eyes.

"It's okay," he whispered, pulling her into a tight embrace and giving her time to adjust to his girth.

This wasn't the first time having sex with a girl, but Jan Di was different—she was a virgin, and he was forcing her at the same time he wasn't. He knew he had to be gentle and patient with her, making sure she was comfortable every step of the way. He wanted to show her that intimacy could be a beautiful experience, not something to be afraid of or ashamed of.

"You will enjoy it." He whispered softly into her ear, his hands caressing her body as he slowly moved inside of her. Jan Di's body tensed at first, but as he continued to move with a steady rhythm, she began to relax and moan softly. He could feel her walls tightening around him, and he knew she was close to reaching her climax. He slowed down his movements, wanting to make sure she experienced the full pleasure of their intimate moment together.

As Ji Hoo stopped, Jan Di's body ached for more, and then she whimpered when he withdrew and began teasing her entrance with his hardness. She squirmed beneath him, wanting him to continue, but he was in control. He knew exactly how to push her buttons and make her beg for more. With a sly smile, he positioned himself at her entrance and seated her in the sitting position, showing her, his length and girth.

Jan Di gasped at the sight of him, wondering how he was able to fit in with her when he had entered her. He was long, thick, and pulsing with desire, and she could feel every inch of him inside her as he twitched in her core. It seemed like when God was creating him, he took all his time, giving him perfection in his body and his skin.

Ji Hoo then took the pillow and placed it under her hips, angling her body for maximum pleasure. He slowly entered her, inch by inch, until she was completely filled with him.

Jan Di moaned in ecstasy as he began to move inside of her, his thrusts deep and powerful. She clung to him, her nails digging into his back, as he took her to the brink of orgasm again and again. As they moved together in perfect rhythm, Jan Di felt herself losing control. She cried out his name as she reached the height of pleasure, her body shaking with the force of her release. Ji Hoo continued to thrust himself into her until he too reached his climax, spilling himself deep inside of her.

Ji Hoo wasn't done yet; he continued pounding into her, his breaths ragged and heavy. Jan Di's body was still pulsing with aftershocks as he spread her legs wider and drove himself deeper inside of her, his body twitching with pleasure he never knew existed. He felt her hips moving in sync with his, urging him to keep going, and he complied eagerly, wanting to prolong the intense pleasure they were both experiencing. He wasn't withdrawing from her; all he did was trap her hips instead of thrusting, and their lower bodies were locked and gliding. He didn't want the moment to end or to lose the feeling of being so connected to Jan Di.

It was like they were two halves of a whole, perfectly fitting together in every way. He could feel her hot breath on his neck as she moaned and writhed beneath him, her fingers digging into his back. Ji Hoo knew he was close to the edge, but he didn't want to let go just yet. He wanted to savor every second of this incredible experience with her. As they moved together in perfect harmony, he felt a surge of emotion that took him by surprise. He had never felt this way before, not even with his past lovers. With Jan Di, it was different; it was like they were meant to be together. And as they both reached their climax; he knew that this was only the beginning of their journey together.

"I have never done this for this long; it was amazing." Ji Hoo said with a smile, spilling all his desire inside her. "I think I should drink more wine next time," he added, still trying to catch his breath. They embraced each other, sharing slow kisses and basking in the afterglow of their lovemaking. For Ji Hoo, it was more than just physical pleasure; it was an emotional connection that he had never experienced before. He knew that he had found his soulmate in Jan Di, the moment he dreamt of her—her, the girl he just met a few hours ago, and now she was in his bed, and he was willing to do anything to make her stay by his side. Ji Hoo eventually softened inside her and lifted his weight off her, withdrawing his length from her body.

"Come and join me in the bathroom," Ji Hoo whispered, his voice laced with desire. Jan Di couldn't resist his invitation and followed him to the bathroom, where they indulged in a steamy shower together. As the water cascaded down their bodies, they explored each other's curves and contours, kissing and caressing every inch of their skin. Jan Di's fingers traced the lines of Ji Hoo's muscles, sending shivers down his spine. He reciprocated by cupping her breasts in his hands and teasing her nipples until they hardened under his touch. They stayed in the shower for what felt like hours, lost in their own world of pleasure and passion. Eventually, they emerged from the bathroom, both feeling satisfied and content.

"Tomorrow I will be leaving," Ji Hoo said as he lay on his bed naked, showing his form to Geum Jan Di, who held her towel tightly around her body.

Geum Jan Di's heart sank at Ji Hoo's words, realizing that their time together was coming to an end. She fought back tears, trying to savor every last moment with him. With a heavy sigh, she nodded and whispered, "I'll miss you... more than words can express."

"I hope to see you again. Tomorrow, I will be expecting an answer from you." Ji Hoo's words hung in the air, leaving Geum Jan Di with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty. She knew that whatever answer she gave tomorrow would shape their future, and she couldn't help but feel the weight of that decision on her shoulders.

"I will give you my answer after discussing this with my best friend," she replied, picking up her clothes to get dressed while she wasn't facing him.

"Don't keep me waiting," Ji Hoo urged, his voice filled with both hope and a hint of desperation. Geum Jan Di nodded, her heart pounding in her chest as she turned away from him. "By the way, I go to Shinhwa High School, and I am a senior student, and you?"

"Seoul Republic School. I'm joining the senior high school this coming term," Geum Jan Di answered, trying to keep a casual tone despite the nervousness bubbling inside her. Ji Hoo's eyes widened in surprise, a small smile playing on his lips. "Seoul Republic School, huh? That's impressive," he remarked, his admiration clear in his voice. Geum Jan Di felt a surge of confidence as she met his gaze.

"Thank you," she replied, feeling a newfound sense of pride in her accomplishments. As they continued their conversation, Geum Jan Di couldn't help but feel a growing connection between them—a bond that seemed to transcend their different backgrounds and circumstances.

"I can't wait to see you again, my personal maid," he said with a smile
