"You're playing wii sports " technically is .iso, if you want to be be realistic about it.
It's my birthday. Confetti, cakes, delicious pastries and food should be plentiful. Well, if I haven't gotten sick. I've got such a bad cold today I've had to cancel my own birthday party. And since I was already feeling pretty SHITE about everything, I've decided "Hey, if I get my blood boiling from rage, I could get sweaty and force this sickness out of my body!"
Then it is decided, as I've did 4 years ago, I'll beat Lucia at Wii Table Tennis. Should be simple enough, even with the constant, bullshit RNG. I've beaten her twice in the channel, so without further….

Let's boot up my capture card on my Wii and start OBS. Not in this particular order, but it could be too.
Capture card: capturing.
OBS: OBS-ing.
Model: eh, might as well be Nina, why not?
Ok so Model: Modeling Nina-ing!
I'll set everything up as people get here. Bloody hell my nose is so itchy! Ahh-tchoo! This sucks so much. Haven't streamed in a while tho, so I have to make this count.
Lemme open my model real quick. If I recall correctly, my wiimotes should be around here so I'll let it open in the background as I look for them. Thanks OBS for eating my RAM for breakfast, so very kind of you, twat!
Here…oh God it's so dusty! Aah-tchoo! Goddamnit! I need some tissues to solve these issues! My nose is so runny it might as well be Usain Bolt. Anyways, wiimote in hand, nunchuk just in case, I can't remember if I need 'em, and…
Oh for crying out loud why is Nina not open yet? I swear to God OBS, one of these days I'll replace you. Oh but getting to set up everything again from scratch, what a hassle.
Anyways, Nina is finally opening and good GOD she's a beaut! So proud of this, but anyway is it following my commands? Left arm, right arm…..aah-tchoo! Ah, good to know, she follows my head when I sneeze. Good, accurate. Creepy.
Anyways, everything is set, so I'll just open my mic quietly…
"GOOD EVENING EVERYBODY"
Of course some chatters were caught off-guard, even my body was! Geez, my throat. I cough a bit before continuing my usual schtick. Chatters seem to be hyper agitated today, everyone wishing me a happy birthday. I can't help but feel teary eyes.
"What we're doing today isn't in the middle of the screen, but…you'll see, you'll see right as I enter the next screen in this TRAN…"
I scratch my nose. It's so damn itchy goddamn.
"…SITION!"
As I click and speak at the same time, people now can see Nina and the wii menu.
"First of all, I appreciate the birthday wishes. You're all too kind to me! Second of all though, why not make my cortisol levels rise? This could make me get better faster, or just outright end me."
As I finish my sentence, I hear some crackling noises from my wii. Which shouldn't happen. Retro consoles are like the NES and SNES. The DS and Wii are still pretty new…
"It looks like my Wii can't process correctly it's most basic function: reading a disc. Shocker! This may be my birthday, but it'll apparently be the parting of my wii as well. 'What will you do about it?' Me? Eh, not really attached to this old thing. I'll keep it around, but no promises of speedrunning the sports resort thingamajigs."
As I kept complaining and interacting with chat, the game finally loaded. Took ya long enough! As I boot up the game, I'm so happy, relieved, and even joyous that the cursed wii motion plus video didn't play. Is it my birthday or something? Oh, wait…
"Well, shall we make Nina a table tennis champ?" To the surprise of everyone in chat, I've made a Nina Mii and it seemed appropriate, with the model an' all. The beginning of the road towards champion was a piece of cake. Y'know, that pastry I was supposed to have if I wasn't sick? Yeah.
Some of Myy opponents even got hit in their faces with the table tennis ball, it was kinda endearing. It got some chuckles out of me.
As I kept exercising a bit, sweating a bit, I've noticed some strange miis in the crowd. That bug happened again, when they don't have any facial features. The first time it happened it creeped me, sure, but why do I now feel even worse?
Eh, nothing to it but to beat it. I now finally had 1000 points, meaning the opponents would begin to feel like a challenge. I was, for some odd reason, feeling so drained and tired. I could just skip the 11-point match against Lucia.
Nah.
Better safe than sorry.
I kept winning and winning, but something odd happened. The ball hit my Mii, and even though I thought nothing of it, my nose felt achey at the same time. I've excused myself to clean it with tissues, but still, what a weird feeling.
I knew for a fact that the next match was going to be against Lucia, the spawn of RNJesus. I said "sod it" to myself and activated the 11-point game.
To my surprise and hatred, Lucia wasn't my opponent. For some God forsaken reason, Matt was there. Just standing, menacingly. The game, I could only assume, lagged a bit as he didn't have anything in his hands. Truth be told, apparently he was just a head. I looked around us and none of the miis had a face.
"What is up with this GLIIIIIIIIIIITCH! Haunting me once more! Completely absurd!"
Letters appeared on screen. They spawned under Matt's head. "Could you please shout less? We need to be quick."
I laughed a bit. It felt adorable that he wanted to talk to me. Fever dream? No…I've got a cold. Huh.
"I'll let you be champion if you win. I apologize, for I cannot simply allow you to win, since it's beyond my programming."
A nervous chuckle. I didn't think too much of it, until I sought the next screen.
Nina on the left, looking a bit sweaty, and on the right, wouldn't you know it, Matt. With the "Champion" tag and everything. It looked a bit out of place, as if he tried to put the circle block in the square hole. He tried fitting that tag in a place it didn't belong.
The hell is going on?
As the match start, I strike the first point and before the game continues, Matt talks again.
"Did you seriously activate the 11-point game? Now? Of all times? We are in a hurry here!"
"Ay, don't be mad at me bud. I literally had no idea you'd even be here!"
"Let's just hope she doesn't notice anything amiss and keep going."
As we keep playing I score a few, Matt scores a few, but again, the ball hit my nose. I allow the point, as I had nothing to do to counter that. I clean my nose and I notice something that shouldn't be there.
The circle block in the square hole.
The "Champion" tag where it wasn't supposed to be.
The blood on the tissue where it was supposed to be only boogers and the like.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW!"
Matt asked again for my silence, but another dialogue box quickly opened up.
Someone was saying "Where is my tag?"
Even though the dialogue box opened under Matt's face, just like the previous ones did, this time he was sweating bullets. He looked concern, which is difficult to even imagine since he's the boxing champion. You wouldn't think he would yield to a rando.
He asked me to turn off my wii, but bloody 'ell mate, my hands are covered in blood and boogers, I need to wash them first.
I leave my room, tell chat what I'm up to, not in this order, and get to work.
I wash my hands and my nose and all the lights in the house turn off. Could this birthday be even better?
As I go back in my room, angered, I see Nina's model is standing how I left the room: hiding it's face from the angle I walked out of frame.
Wait, there are no lights. Why is Nina here? Visible?
The lights flicker and turn on again. I sigh, defeated, thinking it would be better to just sleep the rest of the day away. But no, my day was far from over.
I hear donations? And raids? And "E" from subs? Am I still live? I head to my pc and I see Nina vs Lucia. Ain't that a thing?
An odd detail, I can see that the "Champion" tag near Lucia's name apparently has some orange cloth on its edges. Weird.
"Again? You mock me bringing another newborn Mii to my domain!"
Again? Oh yeah, Garfield and MJ. Wait, how could she remember?
"Come on, you're starting, remember?"
Well, I start. It is a 6-point game, shit. This is awful. I need to be on my A-game, which is kinda hard when you're sick. I hit the ball and Lucia is still idling, but the ball returns to me anyway. Odd. I keep hitting it and she stays idling. I eventually hit a corner that no one could possibly counter and get my first point.
"Why ain't she moving? My wii's completely and utterly BUS-ted!"
Kept talking to chat, even they were agreeing that something was off.
"You wish for me to move? That's cute. But trust me, you don't wish for me to move, really."
Ominous. I keep playing and, funnily enough, she keeps immobile and returning all my moves flawlessly. She scored a point and I felt a sharp pain in my eye. It hurt quite a bit, but I thought nothing of it since my whole body was aching, in varying degrees of pain.
"Do you still wish for me to move?"
Well, it would be appropriate! Every Mii is animated, so why shouldn't you be too?
"Fair enough."
I…
I didn't say anything.
She served and by God, I couldn't even begin to see how she served! It was so fast that even the replay had a hard time processing what happened.
2-1 for Lucia. Damn.
She kept serving and she kept being so fast. Eventually she won, shocker. I restarted and activated the 11-point challenge. She wouldn't be able to win twice against me!
"Oh dear me, it feels like the top dog needs to protect its turf. And looks like we have no balls either, so allow me."
Another hellishly sharp pain in my eye. Goddamn that hurt. I was mid-sneeze too, so I felt as if my eye got launched from my skull. It hurt so bad.
I cleaned my nose and got surprised as I've seen the screen. Lucia's smuggy-ass smile was still the same, but poor Nina.
Why is one of your eyes closed?
As I serve, the ball leaves a tiny splotch of blood as it bounces. Lucia was still, well, still. Motionless. She kept somehow blocking everything and not a single time she moved to do so.
I've striked a point, hell yeah! One down, ten more to go, goddamn why did I do this to myself.
I serve and the first return was an immediate loss on my part. Again, that was so uncannily fast I couldn't even think about what happened. My brain wasn't that fast to process this.
1-2
1-3
1-4
1-5
I could see Nina shaking. I was shaking too from my sweat, but I don't remember the Wii or the wiimote being this advanced.
Even though I was valiantly blocking the shots, eventually Lucia somehow upped the speed to unfathomable degrees. No replay can show me what happened.
Even when she serves, she stays still. She mocks me with her smug aura and Nina feels bothered.
Hurt, even.
1-7
1-8
2-8, hah, sucker!
Ok, 2-9, fair, I got cocky.
2-10.
"You know what? I feel like you've learned your lesson. But I still need to be sure about it. It's nothing personal. Well, the more I think about it, the more personal it seems."
Champion Lucia did what she couldn't do this entire time.
The audience was cheering for her, booing my very existence and cursing the fact I even got so far. Their faceless profiles still ever-present.
Champion Lucia moved to serve.
Her arm barely moved. It touched the ball, it hit the table, and for the first time I could see its trajectory, but I was still unable to hit it back.
However.
The ball hit Nina.
Both her eyes now are open, with one of them completely bloodshot.
Champion Lucia was now smiling even more. There were no blood on her smile, no blood on her clothing, her hair, nothing. But still, one could feel unnerve at her devilish smile.
"Nina seems tired. Wouldn't you say so, player?"
And another pop up appeared underneath her head.
"Champion Lucia is allowing you to leave. You should consider."
Nina was trembling so much. Her bloodshot eye was crying. I was unable to protect her, to save her.
Reluctantly, I turn off the Wii.
