Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about RWBY. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own RWBY, Monty and Rooster teeth do.

He stared at her with anger crossing his features. Honestly the idea that she believed she was the hero? It disgusted him to no end. She hadn't been here for Atlas, she didn't care about the city, only mantle. She paraded herself around as if she was the virtue of all.

"And today, Ms. Hill's percentage in the polls rose another 8 percent. It had become a quite heated contest to see whom will come out on top at this year's election." He heard which made him want to smash a fist into a wall.

Was he a citizen? Yes, in the way half of the soldiers in Mantle counted as citizens. He had watched many broadcasts on whom was currently leading the polls. The fact that both Robyn Hill and SDC president Jacques Schnee were competing for the title of councilmember had become a debate that caused almost as strife as the Grimm who had rampaged throughout it. They seemed keen on making the entire city a battleground at the end of the day. One which would drag have the citizens into it.

"At least Ms. Hill seems to be doing something to try and make Mantle a better place!" He heard as he rolled his eyes. "She's had more power as Mayor of Mantle than anything Jacques has done for this place!" He also heard which brought a sigh.

As the train moved through Mantle, the other side added in their 2 cents. It had become a far harder job to try and tune them out than anything else. This city seemed to feast on the controversy.

"And? She's a terrorist, keeps raiding supplies from people. Yeah, a real woman of the people! Steal from those who hadn't the ability to do anything nice with it. That's exactly the type of leadership we need!" The other side shouted.

He rolled his eyes at this. There was far too much on his mind. He honestly questioned what the hell was to be going on if people were dying and politics were the only thing on people's minds. Maybe this was the end of the world? Maybe it was going to be how they died at the end of the day.

There were more yells, more screeches as both of them started anew. It made him question what the hell was happening if they wanted so badly to own this. Honestly? It made him question what the hell was going on if they had been pushed into such tactics at the moment. It had been a lot harder to think with their droning on about how politics were to handle at the second. This had been going on for far too long when it came down to it.

On one hand? He understood wanting Robyn Hill as the woman leading the charge. She wasn't corrupt as far as he knew, she honestly seemed to care about the city and its people, and she acted more concerned for the people and who lived in it. It had been a lot more interesting to see what she could say and do if given the time and effort to make something of the city.

But she was routed by the fact she cared nothing for Atlas and she'd ignore trying to do something noble for both towns if it meant she could screw over the city. That was without a doubt stupider than anyone had imagined. The fact that he hadn't been able to continue when it came down to it.

Still? There were bigger problems than his petty ideals and what he considered when it came down to it. He didn't love this place, but it was sure as hell better than anything he could have imagined. There was only so much that could be fixed this time around. Only so much could be helped before it shattered into pieces.

But what the hell did he know? He didn't understand at the second.

He simply sighed to himself as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. He pulled his magazine to his face and tried his hardest to tune out what was coming on. It didn't entirely work at the moment. He still felt something coursing through his mind at the second.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that this story will be slow to update. I will be trying to update it soon. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will set up the first of the 3 arcs. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words at the moment and will be a little delayed. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
