Digimon Infinity: Soul Combination
Chapter 4Digimon Raid.
Taimu followed her back to the same area where he was hospitalized. He could fully observe how crazy this place actually was. Imagine two streets facing each other, now imagine them being kilometers apart. It was like one giant road leading to HQ, with two streets that had rows of hospitals and a few other tall facilities leading up to it.
The main building itself looked odd, in the middle was your usual tall building with lots of windows, but around it were square structures of steel and what looks like wooden bridges surrounding it.
Taimu looked like someone from the country entering the city for the first time. Just looking at the Headquarters was making his head spin.
"This is it. An odd sight, yes. However, people often do not come here. It's like this place doesn't exist. Not just because the road here is blocked for normal people, but also because to them, this place looks just like a dead end.", Aya said.
Taimu had no idea how that worked, and didn't find it important either.
He just asks, "Okay, but why is there such an empty road-like field of nothing?"
"Stick around and find out. You'll get it eventually.", Aya said before coldly moving forward.
Taimu was standing still trying to think, until he saw that she was leaving his stupefied self behind. He stumbled a bit before running after her.
They walked inside the big building at the end. The floor they walked into seemed ordinary. It was a rather nice room with a receptionist, some magazine papers and even some trinkets that can be read.
"It's like a waiting room, only, three times bigger.", Taimu observed.
"Oh? Miss Aya? You're back! How did the mission go?", Some voice blasted those words into the ears of the two. Taimu looked to his right and saw the receptionist.
Aya walked over to her and said, "Mission complete. Albeit, I came in too late."
"Ah…So that was why the cleanup crew left with more people, and with such pained faces.", she replied.
Taimu walked over to Aya, prompting the reaction, "Oya oya, and who is this? Is it who I think it is?"
"Yes, Sonia. This is Taimu, the one Chief Shiruma had requested for a meeting. Think you can get us some time?", Aya asked.
"Of course! I had already prepared all the writing for mails and schedule tactics.", Sonia said.
Taimu watched this happy-go-lucky girl, Sonia, as he kept watching, he saw the figure of a Digimon behind her. It looked like a man in a suit, however, its face was like that of a shadow, its head was also covered by a fedora. It seems to lean over, staring at those talking to Sonia with an eerie smile.
"So, even she has a Digimon here?", Taimu asks.
"Everyone here can at the very least see Digimon. Don't underestimate her, just because she is a receptionist. She's the first line of defense and she can bench press the both of us.", Aya stated, quietly enough so Sonia doesn't hear.
"That's kinda scary…", Taimu commented.
"Actually, with her Digimon, she would probably cripple us with debt instead.", Aya casually said as she was doing a thinking motion.
Taimu lunged back and said, "That's even scarier!"
Sonia glanced at the two with a confused look.
"Hey, no need to have a conversation to yourselves.", she said as she instantly put on a smiling face, she then continued, "It is done, miss Aya. Please, do come to the command center. You can tour Taimu on the way if you want. Right now, the Chief isn't occupied."
"Thank you, Sonia. Sorry if we were rude.", Aya replied.
"No, no. Don't worry about it. Say hi to the Chief for me, okay?", Sonia responded.
"Let's move.", Aya said as she calmly walked to the door that leads to the hallway.
Taimu followed, albeit, he looked like he was in a state of constantly zoning out.
He followed her into the hallway nonetheless.
"You don't need to know much about the surrounding rooms in this hallway. They are filled mostly with administrators, often dealing with financial situations and governmental paperwork. What we're interested in is the big door over there.", Anya spoke as she pointed to all the different doors.
"Do they all have Digimon, too?", Taimu asked.
"Weak ones, or not fully realized ones, yes. There are barracks to the ends of these hallways. People train their bodies often and are stationed there for when an attack takes place and the ones at the top floor are either unaware, unprepared, or just unavailable.", Aya explained.
"Barracks? How many users do you have here?", Taimu asked, as he appeared taken aback.
"I'll explain later, for now, we need to enter here to get to the upper floors.", Aya said.
"What? Is this an elevator?", Taimu asked
"Elevator, he says.", Aya spoke to herself. She didn't bother elaborating and just casually opened the door and entered it.
Taimu slowly approached the door, the gears in his brain doing its work as he was trying to understand what she meant. As he went through the door, his face tensed up as he sees an unbelievable sight.
It was like he entered a different dimension, a green floor with green noise flying all over the air.
"What is this place?", Taimu asked as he spun around to see everything.
"This is a Digital Shift. In the past, these occurred naturally. It is a part of the Digital World that collides with the real world. The barrier sometimes gets unstable, and this fusion happens. This one is, on the other hand, done on purpose. Not even I know exactly how it works. But they use some kind of Junk data from the digital world to shift the dimensional space in this part of the building. Only the outside, and the upper floor are actually present in the real world.", Aya explained.
As Taimu watched closely, he saw what looked like smearings of other rooms floating around this space.
"Within this shift, rules of reality are often bend as well. Teleporters exist in the Digital World, so that data is used for this shift. Allowing us to teleport to any room we see, except for the Command room itself, since that is present in the real world.", Aya said as she stared annoyed at Taimu.
"Hey, you can explain that in that monotone voice as if this is normal, but to me it seems like absolute madness! ", Taimu replied.
After staring at the cross armed Aya for a few seconds, he said, "It's pretty cool, though."
"As you get used to this place, you should be able to see the other rooms in this area. From here, I can talk to you a bit about what facilities are stationed in this building.", Aya told him.
Pointing at one room, she said, "That over there is the weapon storage room."
Taimu looked at it and pointed out, "Some of these look like they would be used by the army."
"Digimon sometimes come with weaponry that heavy. All of these weapons are often used by users who struggle to form their Digimon. Most of the time users can use the weapons their Digimon have, but others find it difficult. See these as their mediums.", Aya explained.
"Over on there, you can see the educational room. There are optional courses on Digimon. Of course, I suppose you wouldn't care about that.", Aya said as she was presenting a huge round classroom.
With a smile, Taimu said, "Nah, I'll figure it out."
"Figures.", Aya replied with a tired face.
She pointed over to another room and said, "That room, you can't see too much, but it is for the Soldier Program."
"And that is?", Taimu asked.
"You were asking about the Barracks, right? There are those that know about Digimon that appear in the real world or are wanting to do something about it, again, in our world. However, they are not born as Digibility users. Among them are actual users, however, their Digimon are…Well…", Aya was having trouble explaining this.
"What's wrong with them?", Taimu asked.
"Our Digimon represents our soul, right? Well, you have some normal people, that are so stuck in their normalcies and daily lives, they are essentially zombies. Some of them might have a Digimon, but as they have grown to become these normal people that only live to do their jobs as wage slaves and nothing else, their Digimon takes a common, but weaker form. Some people have similar souls, and end up getting the same Digimon. That is more on the rare side, except for these people.", Aya was trying her best to explain things, but it was a pretty complex situation.
"Since their personalities aren't that strong, they too, get sent here in the Soldier Program. Their Digimon are the same. There are many types of "Soldier" Digimon, but we here use the Chessmon variety. Now, as I told you, non-users get sent to this program. That's because we have found ways to give those a Digimon, however, it can only be done through a Soldier Digimon. Of course, I am not too good with the details. Essentially, their brains get hooked up to a server, and their bodies inside a pod that transmits data. All connect, the Soldiers of the Soldier program exist to battle a major threat.", Aya explained.
"Sounds kind of shady to me.", Taimu said, trying not to look too discomforted.
"Yeah, well, I'll see if I can take you to the lab, maybe they can explain it better.", Aya said as she sounded frustrated, she closed her eyes and turned her head.
She then looked around and told him about the many rooms.
"Most rooms you see here are reserved for high-ranking hunters. They often have to wait around here. Over there is the cafeteria. Since this space is using partly Digital World rules, both humans and Digimon can make food there, and have ways to materialize ingredients. If you look over that way, you can see the director's office. It's the chief's place, although you rarely find him there."
"Now then.", she turned around and showed him a room that was near the top of the building.
"We have to go over here. It is the Digital World Transportation. This is where you would've ended up, had I gotten you arrested. We teleport data and humans into the Digital World in that room. We can take the internalized data of a criminal user and sent it as a Digimon to the Digital World, the user in return, however, may change as a person. Don't worry, we're not going there for you. The data of Digimon we collected, we need to send them back to the Digital World so they can be reborn as Digi-Eggs.", Aya explained.
"I understand. And how do we go over there?", Taimu said.
"This place is programmed to teleport one to the room you are looking at. Visualize you standing there, and you shall be there in a second.", Aya told him. In the next second, she vanished.
Taimu blinked for a bit before looking up and seeing her in the room she spoke of.
He did as she told her, after thinking hard about himself being in that room, he was transported.
To Taimu, it felt like his body got pulled into the room, like a gravitational pull suddenly formed. He opened his eyes; he was in this nice-looking hallway with an open door to the big facility. Aya was looking at him, it almost looked like she was judging him.
She then, walked further, with Taimu following along.
Inside the room, lots of men and women on computers, transferring or analyzing data.
"This room is huge.", Taimu expressed.
"It has to be. This isn't only for Digimon and data. Humans need to go to the Digital World sometimes as well…Or they have to return here. It is out of our area of expertise, however.", Aya said.
"So we can go to a whole 'nother world with this…But can't even kids do that with their PCs nowadays?", Taimu asked.
"What are you sounding like an old man over? Did you feel left out when your friends had Digimon and you didn't? Of course, more and more can just go into the digital world by their own leisure. However, they always end up having a permanent or specific type of place they must enter in that other world. This teleporter can get you anywhere in the Digital World. It is also specifically made to transport a whole group and their belongings at once. Unlike the portals that you can find on PCs", Aya explained.
"Man, to think I could've explored a different world…Why can't we?", Taimu asked.
"You have a Digimon soul. Other Digimon don't want to contact you as a potential partner, and thus, no access to the Digital World. Same happens to all of us.", Aya explained.
"I see. So for us, this is the only way?", Taimu asked.
"Finally getting it, I see. Regardless, we don't have time. Get your digivice ready. You haven't returned Petitdevimon yet, and I need to get Yaseimon's data back in there.", Aya said before walking forward.
"Oh, Miss Aya. Here to sent another Digimon to their home world?", someone asked as she walked by.
"That's right. It's a feisty one, let's hope it won't be alone this time, perhaps it will evolve into something more, friendly.", Aya replied. There was a terminal beyond the teleports in the middle of the room. The terminals on the wall had connection ports for the Digivices.
"Digivices are made in this underground lab. Functionality that is often blocked for normal users are for us to use. I'll unblock them for you. One function is to preselect Digimon Data and return in to the Digital World.", Aya explained as she leaned onto the terminal.
Taimu gave his Digivice to her. She put a password in before returning it to Taimu.
"There you go. Select the data and put the Digivice into the machine. On the screen you will see a question for confirmation, press yes.", Aya explained whilst Taimu simply put it in, and it did the work on his own. Since there were multiple slots, Aya had no need to wait and did her work too. With the Digimon sent back to the Digital world, she took Taimu back to the green room.
They teleported to the underground level. It was a cave held up by plated steel, although, it only looks like that due to the Digital Shift. It is more likely a complete build site underneath originally. There was a big gate in front of them with a few people in front.
"Is the lab closed?", Aya asked one of them.
A man stood up and calmly explained, "I am sorry to say, Aya, but they are too busy with a rather vicious Digimon. Not only that, but important forensics are being carried out as well. We can't let anyone in today."
Aya nods and said, "That is a shame. But I understand. We'll just have to come back another day."
Taimu looked at them all with questioning eyes as he said, "Now it feels even more shady."
Aya turned to him and almost looked nervous as she replied, "Listen. The scientists here are a bit weird, and it all looks shady. But they are actually quite nice, I assure you."
Taimu relaxed himself and just said, "Well. If you say so."
Aya sighed. She took a deep breath before walking back. She stopped, above her was the green world they came from, in front of her was another facility.
"The room across is the Daycare.", Aya said.
Taimu froze for a second, afterwards he shouted whilst widening his body, "You have kids down here?!"
"I should know…I've spent a good deal of my life over there.", for the first time, Taimu heard her speak in weaker tone.
She turned to him and said, "You got your Digimon late, must of us have a Baby level one since before puberty. Some of us are alienated or get abused. This is why they are here."
"So, you protect them?", Taimu asked.
"Yes. Either they come here under the veil that they are sick and we can ensure their parents they may develop better here. Or…They have no other home… Either way, it exists for them to grow with their Digimon. They get taught how to use them in a safe way. But most importantly, they can stay in a place where they are safe from Digimon…And other humans. Often times, a nurse is present. Well…A less crazy one, of course.", Aya explained.
"I see…But isn't it sad to be coopt up in there? Underground?", Taimu asked.
"It's still inside a Digital shift. From inside, it looks like they are in an open outdoor area, and they have windows that lead to other facilities, where they can often talk to others. Some of us younger members have slightly younger friends that are still in there.", Aya said.
"So, you have some friends in there, then?", Taimu asked.
She stopped for a moment. All she could say was, "Had…"
There was a moment of silence for a good while.
"Either way, we're not here for that, and I think we both don't want to bother some children. We're on a schedule.", Aya said.
"The only places we haven't seen or been to, is the mission board, and the two facilities below here. You'll see the two facilities even further underground later. We have to go to the command room.", she spoke in her tough voice again.
A few moments later, and they were transported in front of another gate, below them and behind them were glass panels.
"What is this place. I can see the outside world behind us, and below us is…A training room?" Taimu asked.
"Remember, we're still in the shift. Once this gate opens, a clear portal between the real and Digital realms will be right in front of us. You can tell, because the room in front of us will be empty until we enter it.", Aya said.
As the gate opens, Taimu could see a navy-blue room with computers and a giant screen at the other end of the room, it was completely empty
"Eh? Why is it like that? How does this work?", Taimu asked.
"Because the generator creating this shift is right here. It is the most controllable point, because of this, it is easy to set a boundary right here. Or so they've told me. I don't really understand it either. But it was made like this so they could see everything happening within the Digital Shift from the Command Center.", Aya explained.
"Uh-huh. Well, whatever then. I want to know more about the room below.", Taimu said as he observed a white room.
He saw a boy and a girl inside, one with some kind of Rabbit Digimon that had machine guns, and the other had a pink bunny in a martial artist gi using gauntlet claws.
"It is a room made for simulations in which users can test their strengths. You'll learn more about it later.", Aya told him.
After the two were done talking, they entered the command room. All sorts of people were behind PCs or walking around. Taimu saw two girls, each had some kind of mini-knight next to them, they were see-through, meaning they were Digimon.
He looked further, up a few stairs where the Director's desk was stationed, stood a tall big man staring Aya and Taimu down.
"You have finally arrived as Sonia had informed me. Good work, Nakano Aya.", he said in a loud and booming voice.
He looked at Taimu with a piercing gaze, "You must be Kinka Taishimu. I welcome you to our Headquarters.", he spoke.
Taimu could do naught but stare at him.
"This is the Chief, Satsuma Shiruma. He is the strongest of the Japanese branch of the
Digital Soul Border Security, for he is the leader.", Aya introduced him.
Shiruma was a large individual indeed. A big and tough looking face, of which he almost never smiles with. He wore his sunglasses a bit further down his nose than most people, so you can see his sharp brown eyes. He had black hair, thought it appeared it was combed neatly, spikes of hair stuck out to his sides. He looked like he was wearing something close to that of a general, but he wore some kind of unfinished looking robe over it. Aside from that, he wore black pants of which no one knows what material it is made out of, and he had black shoes that had an end sharp enough to stab a dude. To finish his style, he even wore some kind of shoulder pads.
Name: Satsuma Shiruma.
Age: 42
Height: 195 CM
Occupation: Chief of Digital Soul Border Security.
"Hey…That white scarf over your neck. Isn't that a Digimon?", Taimu asked.
"It's good you can tell without much experience. You can see he's slightly see-through. Even normal people can see him. This is my Digimon, Kudamon. I let him rest on my neck, that is how we get our piece of mind.", he stated.
Taimu raised an eyebrow with his mouth open.
"His mind is strong enough to the point he materialized his Digimon without doing anything. Don't mind him.", Aya explained.
"That can happen?", Taimu asked.
Kudamon was a holy beast Digimon, kind of looked like a white snake with arms, its head was that of a mammal. Its ears blended in with the top of his eye caskets, the ends of his ears were black. Its eyes were yellow. It had a black outline around its eyes. It also wore a red ring pierced through its left ear, and its tail ended in a golden bell. It wore a holy cartridge case. It is said that day after day, it accumulated holy power within the earring on its left ear, and that the stored power is great enough to have influence on its next evolution. It has a calm, cool, and collected personality, conducting a precise assessment of the situation even in combat, and attaining the advantage in battle.
Name: Kudamon
Level: Child/Rookie
Type: Holy Beast
Attribute: Vaccine
Element: Light
Species: Holy
Field: Virus Busters
Min Wheight: 10G.
"As you may have heard, my name is Satsuma Shiruma. I am chief of the Japanese branch of the Digital Soul Border Security. That would mean that some respect is demanded, however, I understand your reluctance in joining, particularly because you might think ill of our organization. Let's safe anymore formalities until a more suitable time arrives, which I hope is soon. I assure you, we have nothing but good intentions here.", was what Shiruma started with.
He looked sternly at Aya and said, "I do have to apologize, I heard one of our patrol units got a little too heated. Normally when someone like you gets a Digimon late and isn't causing trouble, we try to calmly get in contact with you to discuss your situation. I do hope, on the other hand, you understand her point of view, that she might've thought you WERE causing trouble."
"I mean, it's all water under the bridge now. I'm just wondering how quickly you would take someone's Digimon from them.", Taimu asked, he acted as calm as he could.
"Typically, we only force someone into custody when they commit crimes with their Digimon. Depending on the crime, we only try to convince them to give up on their evil ways and join our group instead, with proper training and education, of course. I believe people should get a chance to proof they can be good, given an opportunity. Naturally, we do erase one's Digimon when they have crossed the line of life and death, and also when someone will not stop committing crimes.", Shiruma explained.
"All right then.", Taimu said with a nod, he then, looked at Shiruma with a serious gaze and asked, "But why do you want ME to join so much? Can't you leave Digi-users alone?"
"After Aya's report, I and my team of researchers have looked into you. It is my belief, that you can accomplish great deeds in our organization. You appear to have more time on your hands than most your age, and next to that, I have plenty of reports that give many the impression you like to fight. You can even get back up after exhaustion and damage from your first real fight without any worry. But do not trust me. We have a whole simulation training facility where you can show your skills off. You don't need to proof anything to us, but maybe there is something you want to learn yourself?", Shiruma said a lot.
"Hm.", Taimu thought about it for a bit, he spoke what was on his mind out loud, "I do have something I want to try…Honestly, the proposal is kind of weird, as if you're saying I should use your place to train without even telling you if I wanna join or not."
"I told you, we only have good intentions. You came here to confirm that, isn't that right? We want your help, but we can't do that without extending our own, I'm sure that idea works more for you, am I wrong?", Shiruma said.
What he said seemed to have garner Taimu's interest, as he listened carefully.
"I suppose I should've started with enlightening you with the purpose of our organization. It is an official organization acknowledged by the government; however, it is kept secret for the common man, in this and most other countries, anyway. As our name suggests, we deal with Digimon that cross over from their world into this through means of becoming one's soul through contract or otherwise, of course, we handle those that sneak around in networks and through data, as well as those who have realized in our world.
This doesn't always mean the solution is violence. Not all come here with ill intend, or even on purpose. Innocent Digimon will be sorted out and they often return to their home world, or we often have an agreement to let them stay, in many cases, gaining their help. But this is not as common as you think. Digimon have an inherent thirst to evolve, and human emotions are often a great catalyst to their evolution. There are many ways for a Digimon to evolve, some of them involving darkness. Humans can emit seven emotions matching that of the seven sins, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Greed, Lust, and pride.
Most Digimon that come here are attracted to those and can evolve once one of the feelings behind these sins get to a breaking point. You have only faced weaklings so far, but there are menacing monstrous people and Digimon that hide in the dark until it is time to take another's life. Well, you have seen them out of control due to the negative energy they used to evolve, some have intelligence higher than that of an average person, and can control certain amounts of darkness.
It is our job to stop them. Although, Inexperienced ones like you and Aya often are on patrol and either report back, or take out those that are weaker. Sending people to their deaths is counter-productive, to say the least. In short, we handle people that have a Digimon ability and use them to commit crimes, or, we deal with the Digimon that come here themselves.
For the record, you know Digimon bond with kids and even adults through digivices and computers. Those are often friendly and are only here within those digivices, those are not our responsibility. Their does exist, however, a smaller organization that handles Digimon in their world, often times together with groups and nations within the Digital World. Do you understand", Shiruma.
Not even an eyelid was moved as Taimu responded with the most simplistic face possible, "So, bad Digimon come, we beat 'm up, right?"
"You only got out of it that you can understand and will do…", Aya replied with a sour expression.
"Well, that is indeed what I am thinking of letting you do if you were to join.", Shiruma replied, still looking as serious as ever.
Taimu covered his fist with his hands and said, "Alright then…How about I try this simulation of yours."
Shiruma gave him a slight smile and said, "Well then, you can go to the below floor. Aya shall lead you to the right room. We'll be watching and communicating from here."
"I'll show you! If those guys are weaklings, I can't be losing to them. So, I will do it, use the full extent of my strength, and make you see I can handle anything.", Taimu stated boldly.
"Where does this sudden ambition come from? Ugh, what a pain. Just get over here.", Aya said before dragging Taimu by the shirt.
And thus, Taimu ended up in a wide white room, there was only a door at his back. He saw shapes of windows, but they were practically no different than the wall to him.
From an intercom, he heard Shiruma's voice, "Remember, you are in a digital shift. Reality gets bent, every Digimon and machinery you face here is fake, only the damage is slightly realistic, but when it's over, none of the pain and damage you take carries over to real life. You requested we give you a full test, and I am inclined to give you one. For the record, we have windows where we can see you from every angle, but you can't see us, most get nervous when they see others watching them."
After stretching a bit, Taimu threw his right fist into his left hand with a smile and said, "Thanks for the explanation. Don't worry about me getting nervous, I only care for the fight!"
"Very well. Your test shall begin.", Shiruma said.
Mere seconds after, Taimu saw the roof warp to be curvier as data spread out and faded in the room. Before he knew it, a bunch of test dummies materialized further from him.
They were droids on a singular wheel heading their way to Taimu.
Taimu closed his eyes and thought, "Think of all the things I've learned so far…I need to use everything I can, as sparsely as I can. I am Agumon, Agumon is me…I can feel him. An extension of my body, only exhausting my mind. Every bit of me, is every bit of him."
He opened his eyes, feeling like his Agumon was already summoned with him.
He ran forward. His teeth became sharper as he was focusing his nerves around his mouth.
"Baby Flame!", he shouted as he shot a fireball from his mouth.
This disorganized the machinery for a bit, letting Taimu close in on one and thrust his arm through it using Agumon's arm as coating.
Some of the active dummies surrounded him, one attempted to thrust a metal fist to his back, Taimu summoned Agumon's legs from his back and caught it between Agumon's feet.
From his left and right came two more fists, he covered his arms with Agumon's and used his strength to hold them down. Even a fist from the front did nothing, as he turned his jaw, mouth muscles and teeth into that of Agumon and gnawed at the fist, bending the steel.
"He's holding them all down without fully materializing Agumon. Even more so, he has learned to summon some of his body parts more efficiently, combining it more with his own body. I don't doubt his strength, but how agile is he? Does he notice any sneak attacks? How are his reflexes. I want to confirm if he isn't just a brute.", Shiruma thought looking at Taimu as he threw the machines away with a spin from one leg using Agumon's foot.
Some Dummies had gotten faster, utilizing two wheels instead, next to that, new test dummies that shoot projectiles spawned, in front of them was a test dummy twice Taimu's size, it was a left-over boss from the first wave.
Taimu jumped above it, avoiding a big strike, he tried to crunch on its top using Agumon's entire head, bit it dodged out of his way, at the same time Taimu had already summoned the rest of Agumon's body to let it jump at the thing, catching it in its evasion as Taimu yells, "Cross Slash!" The big dummy had fallen, its front in pieces.
The moment Taimu got down onto the ground, beams were fired at him from dummies further away. Taimu observed each projectile carefully before swiftly side stepping away, his evasive maneuver was simple, yet, skillful, not a single bit of energy was wasted.
"Ever since fighting Digimon, I have felt that other things are slower now. I can't help but think that as long as it isn't as fast as a bullet, I can see it coming from a mile away.", Taimu thought as he easily dodged all of the lasers.
Among the lasers, two objects were flung past him unnoticed. They bounced off the ground, and floated in the air after. They looked like the heads of the dummies. They shot lasers out of their eyes, however, Taimu jumped over it and ended up behind the two floating heads. In the next second, he had Agumon slash the two heads.
Shiruma looked impressed as he thought, "He was using Agumon's eyes in the back of his head. That's a skill that people often don't use without being told they can."
Taimu looked down on the approaching dummies, he fully summoned Agumon to shoot a Baby Flame at them, not really hitting them, but he ended up creating a smoke cloud that covered the area. He hid in the smoke trails, destroying every speed dummy with trickery.
He would come out of hiding from a smoke trail to destroy one, only to enter another one.
He also came out to use himself as bait, summoning Agumon in full to take out a dummy from behind.
"I thought he would be more brutish in battle, but it seems he can be tactical, too.", this wasn't just a thought Shimura had, but Aya and a few other people watching were thinking the same thing.
Taimu jumped out of the smoke after defeating all of the speed dummies and immediately fired off three smaller flames shouting, "Triple Baby Flame", shooting a row of small flames at the ranged dummies, destroying them.
"Strength is great. Agility is acceptable. He understands how to use his Digimon well enough. Can use tactics…Now then. I only really want to test your endurance…", Shiruma thought.
He gave one of his assistants a look, that was enough for her to know to instruct a form of attack on Taimu.
Out of the ground came hundreds of smaller dummies, all loaded with missile launchers. Thousands were fired at Taimu.
Taimu relaxed his body as he observed the rain of missiles heading his way.
"I see. There is no way to dodge this one, right?", he thought, just before he cracked a smile.
He stretched his arm out whilst curling his fingers up into a fist. As he flexed his muscles, he thought, "I need to use Geogreymon, Agumon won't be able to give me the defense needed. I need to use as little energy as possible. I need to summon Geogreymon in a way to have a him replace the smallest of details in my body, specifically, my muscles and skin."
Taimu crossed his arms and said, "Appear…Geogreymon!", Taimu said as the shadow of a dinosaur appeared behind him.
He closed his eyes, tried to feel him and Geogreymon being one.
"Become my muscle. Change my skin…And no more of you needs to be summoned.", Taimu thought. His muscles grew slightly, his skin had gotten an orange tint and blue lines.
Aya was leaning against the wall, in all the time of her watching the test, she had a surprised face for the first time. Even Shiruma was leaning over.
All of the missiles directly hit Taimu, every single one combined together created a huge explosion that would tower over a dozen city buildings. After the smoke faded, they all saw Taimu. Some of his clothes were torn, black marks from the explosion covered his arms, however. As he slowly moved his arms back, he revealed himself being fine. Taimu did a fist bump whilst shouting, "Yes! I got it!"
More moments later, an army of Child level Digimon and a view big mechanical drones appeared in front of Taimu.
With the hype that Taimu was feeling, he started to get more reckless, He partially summoned the leg of Geogreymon over his own to shoot himself forward into the army. The muscle of his Digimon was used for as his arm as he thrust it forward blowing Digimon away.
While Taimu was fighting quite recklessly, Shiruma couldn't help but speak, "It had only been a day since he was reported to us. And he already mastered the use of his Digimon, even using advanced techniques."
One of the women near him spoke, "Chief Shiruma, do you know how he was able to do so?"
"I have learned of similar happenings. Digibility users use their mental strength to fight with Digimon, their mind sharpens the more they fight, and it is fueled by the strong convictions and feelings they hold. As I expected, Taishimu loves to fight. This battle drive leads him to try everything his body can muster, and now that he has a Digimon, he will try every possibility with it to fight as efficiently as possible.", Shiruma explained.
Some Digimon tried to hit Taimu in the back, but as he hit a Digimon in front away using Agumon's claw, he summoned Agumon's head behind the back of his own to fire three flames whilst shouting, "Triple Baby Flame!", knocking those Digimon back.
Taimu summoned Agumon in full, only to have it disappear as a Digimon tried to tackle it, just so he could punch that Digimon into the air.
"He punched a Digimon?!", one of the women next to Shiruma shouted.
Even he was taken aback, he thought, "He is a Digimon puncher, too?"
He then explained to the people in the room, "This is a rare skill. Not just Digibility users can have it, any person could have it. An unwavering fist that can even harm a Digimon many times the strength of a man. I have never seen it before. I have heard reports of others in other countries. And I have only heard the legend of one man. And clearly, this boy is among them. His Digimon seems all the more fitting."
Taimu jumped up and floored a big Adult level Digimon as he punched him in the face, a second later, he immediately got blown away by two other digimon, one was a dinosaur spewing fire, the other was a beast hurling a rock at him.
He slid over the floor, his skin scratched. Yet he looked forward with a grin.
"All right. I have more than enough fun. Let's go.", Taimu said.
"I have thought about it. It wasn't getting hurt that hyped me up. No, the problem was that I tried to force myself getting adrenaline, but in doing so, I got afraid that I would fail. Fear won't help me evolve.", Taimu thought.
"I've got my own way. What hypes me up, is the excitement of fighting. And to get excited, I shall… ", Taimu said to himself as he changed his posture.
with his fists out, he screamed from his stomach, as loudly as possible. It was a yell that could be heard from the corners of the universe. An orange pillar of energy was emitted from Taimu.
He clutched his fist as all that energy surrounded him, and at the same time, he said, "Let's do it!"
"Let your roar shake the earth. Let your every step make a quake, ablaze, the pillar that comes from the earth. Let it burn, my soul, and the soul beneath me, arise from a flame of the earth, GEOGREYMON!", Taimu gave a speech before shouting his Digimon's name.
"Oh yeah, totally nailed that one!", Taimu was thinking afterwards.
From a flame pillar behind him, a voice was heard, "Agumon! Evolution!"
The pillar of fire collapsed as Geogreymon came out and shouted its name.
Aya almost looked interested as she said, "Oh? You finally got it to come out again?"
"That is your Digimon as I had thought. A reflection of your soul. Every part of its body is a lethal weapon, that's how you like to see yourself too."
Geogreymon ran forward. The Digimon that was floored before had stood up. It was the giant bird Digimon, Aquilomon. It tried to slam itself into Geogreymon, but it moved out of its way before catching him within its tail, Geogreymon chucked it hard enough against a wall that it killed the Digimon. Geogreymon charged at the other two monster, one a dinosaur type, Allomon, the other a reptile type, Tortamon.
"Mega Flame!", Geogreymon shouted as he shot a huge fireball between the two, making them flinch as smoke surrounded them. In midst of the black clouds, Geogremon pushed through, shoved his horn under Tortamon, and pushed him into the air. In the next second, Geogreymon shot a blast from its mouth at the airborne Tortamon shouting, "Mega shot!", deleting it.
Allomon shot a flame from Geogreymon's side. As he turned, Geogreymon's head lit up.
With a roar, he shouted, "Mega Burst". and unleashed a giant mega flame that overshadowed Allomon's own fire3. Allomon got endowed by the burning flames, and thus, was turned to cinders.
With flames spreading over the virtual floor, Geogreymon stood behind a satisfied Taimu.
Shiruma looked over to one of his assistants. He said, "I want this boy on the team, I think he will be a crucial element to DSBS. Prepare any negotiation tactic as long as it is ethical."
"Yes sir!", one of the assistants replied strongly whilst giving a salute before heading off.
The other assistant asked, "But is he really that great?"
"He may be young and foolish. But a Digimon puncher is someone with a drive that can't be matched. If anyone is to reach heights of any kind, I predict it is this young man.", Shiruma replied.
"Now, if you understand, could you get him and Aya here?", Shiruma asked her.
"I'll be here with them in only a moment.", she replied. After giving a bow, she left.
It didn't take long for Taimu and Aya to get back to the office. Something was different however, a lot more people were franticly working on their computers.
"I can tell you enjoyed your experience at the training facility. How do you feel, Taishimu?", Shimura asked.
"It was exciting, that's for sure. I would like to train here more often!", Taimu said with a smile.
"Well, I for one would appreciate your registration as one of our members. What do you think about that?", Shiruma asked.
"Hm…", Taimu crossed his arms and kept his head low in thought before he continued, "Well…I am tempted. But I still feel I don't know much about any of you."
Whilst this conversation took place, Aya observed people running all over the place.
She looked at Shiruma and asked, "Chief, has the time come?"
"You noticed more of our members are here today did you n-", before Shiruma could finish his answer, an alarm sounded throughout the building. Red flashes blinked in and out as one of the people behind a computer shouted, "Chief Shimura! The raid Digimon have gathered!"
Shimura appeared to mentally collect himself after being interrupted by a loud siren, afterwards, he calmly said, "The timing is optimal. Now, young Taishimu. You have shown us your strength, now allow us to showcase our capabilities."
Taimu partly covered his ears as he had a slightly dampened look on his face, asking, "What do you mean? What is going on? And who says things like, "The timing is optimal"?!"
"It's a raid. This happens every month or so, a bunch of Digimon come together to materialize here in the plaza leading to HQ in an attempt to destroy our whole organization.", Aya said.
"You say that without a worry…", Taimu mumbled.
"Everyone in this room! Get onto the rooftop! Before that, give orders to all personnel aside from the Soldiers to get outside and gather! That includes the Hospital staff and personnel of other institutes! Everyone with a Digimon must be present!", Shiruma shouted his orders.
"Come, we must go to the rooftop as well. It is mostly safe. You can easily observe everything there.", Aya said.
"What? Those on the roof don't get to fight?", Taimu asked as if he were disappointed.
"Listen, dumbass, he told you he would show you what they could do. The rooftop has the strongest members including the chief, making it the safest place. Usually, said members fight the strongest ones after the weaker common Digimon get destroyed.", Aya said.
Taimu calmed down a little and replied, "I get it. Although, should you be on the roof then?"
"I am here now, so the rooftop would be the fastest way outside. Besides…", Aya stopped in the middle to look away, then, she quietly added, "Since I am an inexperienced patroller, I don't get the right to fight big battles like this…"
She looked back at Taimu, who was staring at her, prompting her to react with a irritated, "What? Got a problem?!"
Taimu shook his head and said, "No. Nothing."
"Hm. Let's go, we can talk more outside.", Aya said before leaving.
"You want to fight so badly, huh? Is it shameful to be considered not good enough to fight battles like this? What made you look so down?", was what was on Taimu's mind.
They headed outside. Everyone who was inside the room had already gathered. Taimu followed Aya near the edge of the rooftop. Down below, he saw two lines of people. All of them had odd clothing on, meaning they were weirdos, more likely to have Digimon.
"All of them…Are Digibility users?", Taimu blurred out.
He saw the nurses he ran away from within the line too. Everyone was there, ready to fight.
"We take out Digimon, and return them either as data or Digi Eggs into their world. Some, however, retain their memories or have escaped from us. They gather and plan an army of Digimon. Then they specifically gather energy only to materialize to fight us, said materialization would only last a few hours, but in their minds, it is enough to fight us.", Aya explained.
Taimu's eyes moved to look at Aya as he asked, "And that's no concern?"
"We can track when energy is being sucked up or appears. The Digimon leader is usually pretty tough, so not hard to miss on the radar. We know when the day comes and gather a bunch of our members. Look down there. Every one of them are the best users of Adult level Digimon, the closest to reaching the Perfect level. Some have even made it to that level, even if they are unable to wield such powerful Digimon well. And on this very roof are at least six Perfect level users, including Chief Shiruma! With sheer numbers of skilled users, our branch is in the top 3 best branches!", Aya told him with pride.
In the distance, a bunch of silhouettes of many creatures emerged out of thin air.
"They're here.", Aya said.
Taimu looked on with severe intensity as he saw numerous different creatures, they seemed to have one big Digimon in the middle.
"Their numbers are in the thousand. Mostly Child level, some adult level, and their leader, one Perfect level Digimon are present.", one of the women next to Shiruma said.
The girl on the other side said, "Threat level, barely Adult."
Digimon of all kind had gathered. Two stood out, one out of sheer number, and of course, their leader.
The most common Digimon is Nisekumamon. They look like potato people stuffed inside torn and ugly brown teddy bear suits. The ends of their paws had knives attached to them. It is said they were made by data containing sad stories about children and/or their toys. A nightmarish creature that infinitely spawns from Martialmusimon. Once they come 10 meters within range of their prey, they float and chase after until their daggers have stabbed through any object.
Name: Nisekumamon.
Level: Child/Rookie.
Type: Puppet.
Attribute: Virus.
Element: None
Species: Beast.
Field: Metal Empire, Nightmare Soldiers.
Min weight: 10KG
The one in the middle was Martiamusimon. A Digimon who gathers others with his music. It's upper and lower bodies looked like two separate bodies stitched together. Its upper body looked similar to that of a brown bear, but he had human hands with red gloves on. Its head was covered by a red hood with golden piercings pierced through its hood and flesh. Golden instruments attached all over its body and inside his black backpack.
Its lower body was huge, a six-legged reptile body, it was colored light blue, and you could tell the whole body had much fat. Red curtains were spaced between each leg, hiding a big hole of which music data gets produced. Most of its fat is to hide the inner mechanicians hiding within the lower body, it can change its form with its mechanical modifications, increasing the size and mass of the upper body as well as generating blades.

Type: Cyborg.
Attribute: Virus.
Element: Wind
Species: Machine.

One of the people standing on top of the roof crouched down, he stretched his back a little, with a cannon that was materialized on his back. Whilst the Digimon stormed the street, he shot a cannonball at them, it blew at least a hundred Digimon into the sky, dispersing them into data.
From the line of Digimon users, two stepped out. One of them materialized two gatling guns over his arms as he shouted, "Gatling Arm!" the other was a woman who shot from a submachine gun, Taimu saw her before, she had a black nurse attire, and she shouted, "Micky Bullet!"
The bullets flew and killed many Digimon in the army. Fire balls and rocks were flung back, but were no match to the nurse's evasion, and the Gatling gun armed boy was protected by a light purple rabbit in a fighting gi using triangle shaped claw gauntlets to cut the rocks and flames.
A man flew over the battlefield. Taimu was leaning over as was watching in awe.
"Yes, Taimu. If you have a Digimon that can fly, you can fly too.", Aya answered a question before it was even asked.
The man flying with purple wings went over the heads of the army digimon and dropped grenades on them.
"I thought bunnies with Gatling guns were weird, but a bird with grenades?", Taimu remarked.
"Oh no. Those are actually from weapon storage.", Aya replied.
"Ah, that's kinda boring.", Taimu replied.
Another man wearing a headband a ninja would wear moved with great speed around the streets, he often got high up as he jumped around with two yellow wings covering his ams. As he got close to the right flank of the army, he aimed his wing a them and shot kunai-like feathers as he shouted, "Kunai Feathers!" Killing some more Digimon.
The surrounding Digimon were quick to strike back, but he had a bunch of explosives made of bamboo that he threw around him to create a smoke-screen. It was like he disappeared.
Taimu holding his head sideways to his forehead watching the fight as he asked, "You guys even keep Ninja tools in your armory?"
"Oh no, those are from his Digimon.", Aya replied.
"That is going to be annoyingly confusing!", Taimu shouted as he flung himself back.
An orange furry Digimon looking similar to a cat had dashed towards the boy with gatling guns attempting a sneak attack.
"Come forth, Tsuruiemon!", a girl nearby shouted as she fully materialized a purple humanoid bunny with long ears and a yellow fighting gi. It jumped between the two parties whilst the cat-like Digimon, also known as Meicoomon, thrust its claw forward shouting, "Shut claw"
Tsuruiemon stopped the claw by trapping it with her right gauntlet. She tried to counter-attack Meicoomon, but it got its claw out of the gauntlet and leapt away.
In pursuit of Meicoomon, the two leapt all over the field appearing as blurs for their high-speed clashes were hard to follow, only slowing down to attempt an attack on the other. This fight was going to be an eternal one, for one will simply parry the other's strike.
Meanwhile, a bunch of Digimon gathered in front of the army, aiming their fireballs and rocks at Tsureimon, hoping to catch it off guard. The nurse in blue slowly walked their way without being noticed.
"Shirotsume…", she said after swinging her sword around at many directions in a literal second. It was like time stopped whilst the put the sword back in sheath, saying, "Hundred Cuts." The fireballs and rocks that were flung were sliced to pieces.
The Digimon were staring at her as she turned around and gave them a cold gaze.
They had no time to recover from being dumbstruck, she slowly took a part of her sword out of the sheath whilst saying, "Shirotsume", a transparent blue veil in the shape of a mouse and black hair materialized over her as she created an aura. They vanished, as if absorbed into her as she took a squatting stance. With one horizontal slice, she killed all of the front row Digimon saying, "Ichimonji-Giri.", how sword having made no sound.
Tsurueimon's user, a girl hiding within the crowd, noticed Digimon sneaking around the blue nurse and called out to Tsurueimon, "Tsurueimon, leave that Digimon for now, support Aogiri instead!
Tsurueimon dodged a claw from Meicoomon and took the opportunity of it now moving to dash over to the blue nurse. As two Digimon jumped behind her back, Tsurueimon had gone further above them and truck them down with both gauntlets.
The blue sister only slightly looked back before saying, "Not that I mind, but help wasn't really required. Don't you need to help your brother?"
Tsurueimon's user spoke through it, replying, "It wasn't going anywhere, brother can handle it now."
"Then by all means. Could you make a straight path to that Swanmon over there? It's Adult level, so I need to be able to make a clean cut", she said.
"Leave it to me!", Tsurueimon shouted as she leapt over the ground.
"Ninjin-ken!", she shouted as she plowed through the crowd of Child level Digimon utilizing Ch'uan Fa martial arts. The blue nurse jumped over her saying under breath, "Shirotsume."
With one horizontal swing and a calling of her attack, "Ichimonji-Giri!", her blade collided with the wings of Swanmon, who shielded itself with its wings. Despite the blade grinding on the armored wings, not a single sound was made. It pushed the blue sister back onto the ground.
"It seems you're going to be a challenging opponent.", the blue sister said as she took a sword stance.
In the meantime, Meicoomon had its focus on the boy with the bunny Digimon that had gatling guns.
He materialized the gatling guns over his arms in an attempt to blast Meicoomon, but it swiftly rant around the rain of bullets as it got closer.
As it was about to swipe its claws at the boy, he did a quick leap to his left as he said, "I saw you coming this time."
With a green aura coming from him, he shouted, "Blast him in the sky! Galgomon!"
His Digimon was followed in full and prepared an uppercut whilst its gatling gun was still going off. It hit the still airborne Digimon into the sky shouting, "Drum Upper!"
Meicoomon looked like it was about too faint, but as it opened its eyes, the people standing on top of headquarters could be seen in their reflection. In a rage, it spun in the air and got onto a building to the side. Hopping high and low to the ground and back onto another building, it build up momentum to get to Taimu who wasn't paying enough attention to see it coming.
Luckily, the claw barely eluded him, for a spear was dug deep into its back. On top of it, the same person who shot from a cannon on his back, had jumped on top of Meicoomon with spear in hand. He had a dragon-like metal helmet materialized over him, with a red visor. I jumped sky high from Meicoomon, of which was disappearing into data. From the sky, he jumped in the direction of a tornado that had been made by Swanmon.
As the tornado dispersed, Swanmon moved out into the sky, eying the blue nurse, speaking to her, "To think humans like you exist. How does you weapon not make a sound?"
There was no time to respond however, for the man with the spear dove directly into Swanmon, killing it with his spear. He jumped off of the collapsing data and behind the Blue nurse's back.
"Don't be mistaken, I am not so foolish that I didn't realize I was surrounded. I merely do not see any enemies here as a threat."
The man with the spear ignored her and simple readied his weapon.
She didn't converse any further, simply pointing her blade at her enemies. More users had fully summoned their Digimon. It was the real beginning of the fight, albeit, calling it a fight might be inaccurate. The numbers were high and anyone would get hit if their guard were lowered, but the enemies weren't tough at all, dozens were killed each second.
After the enemy army dwindled, the horns from Martiamusimon caused all combatants to cease their fighting as they had to hold on to the ground as to not be blown away.
"Enough! They were all useless! Can't even compete to a few Adult Digimon!", it shouted as it marched forward. Galgomon's gatling fire did no damage to him. Tsurueimon tried to hit him from the side, bit was flung away with it using a trumpet as a melee weapon.
The blue sister tried to attack him, striking him with her sword, only for it to be blocked, and her to be blown back by the force of the sound its instruments made.
Even the man with the spear attempted to jump onto him, but the sound made from his instruments created a wind strong enough to keep him into the air, worse, the sound was making his helmet vibrate. For some reason, he refused to simply unmaterialized the helmet, and just used the density of this soundwave to do a back flip back onto the ground. He was on his knee, next to blue sister.
Other Digimon tried to take this Perfect level mon on, but were all pushed back. It marched forward, playing sounds that ruptured ground, using both its instruments and its fists to hit other Digimon out of the way.
"I know he is a Perfect level, but I wasn't expecting him to be close to untouchable.", Blue sister, said to the spear-man. He nodded in response.
He got up and held his fist to his chest, as if he was about to channel something.
She said, "Yeah. If we just fully summon our Digimon, this should not be a problem."
"Retreat!", they heard in the back. The two of them looked at their commander, Chief Satsuma.
"You have shown your skills to Taimu. I will finish the rest. Therefore, I order all users to back out.", Satsuma shouted. His voice was so loud it could be heard to the end of this street.
Everyone recalled their Digimon and casually walked back. No worry, some seemed disappointed even. Some were cheerfully discussing their plans this evening.
"What…Is this mockery! You may think me weak, but don't underestimate me! Even if you summon a Perfect level! I have an infinite number of subordinates!.", Martiamusimon stated.
He slammed on the drums of his body, as the sounds it made boomed over the streets, Nisekumamon exited out of the holes of his legs. Within seconds, a hundred had gathered around him.
"Even if they're weak, with infinite numbers, you shall never defeat me!", Martiamusimon claimed.
Satsuma extended his left arm to his side, letting Kudamon run off it, disappearing right after.
"Slice them…Reppamon.", he said. Within seconds, Martiamusimon felt petrified as a cold wind blew across him. It was like all sound was dempered besides the wind and the echoing of footsteps. Before he knew it, a four-legged creature with a zigzag-styled blade for a tail appeared behind him. Within the heavy wind, the Nisekumamon were all sliced to pieces, just as Reppamon had jumped into nothingess.
Martiamusimon shook, could sweat dropped as he said, "He defeated my army, in an instant…? He looked further up at Satsuma with Reppamon by his side, "He did it from that far away? How…I didn't even see anything. Only felt the close sensation of a head breathing into my neck."
"This is a warning. You can return to the Digital World. Or face my Reppamon."
Name: Reppamon
Level: Adult/Champion
Type: Holy Beast
Attribute: Vaccine
Element: Light
Species: Holy
Field: Virus Busters
Min Wheight: 20G.
Reppamon was a Digimon representing the mythical creature, kamaitachi. It's tail was that of a three folded blade with each curve being pointy, it almost resembled a sickle. The blade had an eye and a mind of its own, which it doesn't always get along with. It had a white and red fox-like mask on, its thick silver hair grew out of it. It had white long whiskers that looked like flames. It's body was that of a lion with brown paws. On its hindleg's hips was a Ying-Yang Symbol. Red and white enclosing ropes were wrapped around its neck.
"How dare you humiliate me. You think that after evolving this high…I'd be intimidated by the likes of you! I took this from to take you down so we can roam free!", Martiamusimon shouted. His body changed as he jumped sky-high. He was headed towards Satsuma as his hindlegs bend over to his back strengthing his upper body and unleashing an axe that was empowered by sound as the wind went through its holes.
"KnightChessmon!", the assistants next to Satsuma shouted as they summoned a Centaur Digimon with knight-like armor and giant dart weapons. The two were colored white and black respectively. They slammed into Martiamusimon, not doing much damage, but slowing him down.
"That's won't be enough…To stop me from ripping this human apart!"
But it was enough time for Satsuma to summon his Digimon in full.
"Unleash the winds of your Blade…Reppamon!", he shouted as white energy converged into the air above him.
A vision was seen of Kudamon shouting, "Kudamon! Evolution!", before shooting a bright light from the golden parts of his body. Blocking the light came its fox mask as it attached to his head before jumping in a zigzak motion into the air, shaping his tail into the three-folded sickle blade.
As it did two block flips into the air, the light on his main body was shaved off, revealing a lion like body. I shook its head to the left, letting its silver hair grow. He gently landed down onto a puddle of light, causing slight ripples in it as the red-white enclosing ropes curled over its neck. It stated its name, "Reppamon."
In the sky, it spun like a ball as it shot itself at Martiamusimon. In the next second, he went through him, cutting him perfectly half with a clean slice after shouting, "Spinning Sky-fissure Slash!"
One of Martiamusimon's halves looked back Reppamon.
"How is this possible…He's just an Adult level…Yet in one hit…He…", it thought before exploding into data, unleashing one final scream.
Taimu watched speechless.
"As you can see. The two of us aren't even close to their level. I am definitely going to get there at some point. And I know you want to get stronger too. Don't you think you should do so by doing the right thing and keeping others save?", Aya told him.
"He defeated A perfect level…With no effort.", Taimu said.
"Of course he did. Most of the people below there are close to reach the Perfect level, and it shows with how easily they took care of some other Adult Digimon. Satsuma is closer than anyone to Ultimate level. His training and experience have led to both physical and mental strength, also powering up his Digimon to the point he could take on Perfect levels with Reppamon alone. He isn't the leader for nothing.", Aya answered.
"I don't know...", Taimu paused to think what to say before continuing, "How good your organization is. I often feel there is always some reason people do something besides it being the right thing."
He looked at Satsuma and began to smile as he spoke, "However. It's like I can sense it. Some here, really do have the protection of other in mind. He also gave that Digimon a chance to live its current live in the Digital World. Someone who doesn't care would've just killed it right there."
Taimu took some distance for himself. He closed his eyes and relaxed. As he opened them, he was looking at a manifestation of Geogreymon right in front of him. Making eye contact, he asked, "I got this new power, that I still have much to learn off. And I am going to see things I don't understand yet. What can I do now? How far can I go? Which way is best? That dream I had, did it mean that I have already chosen? Or was it just the first choices that got me to the crossroad I am now.", the more he spoke, the clearer Geogreymon got, as if it was the first time his mind was truly free to think.
He turned around as Satsuma approached him. With a smile, he said, "I have made my decision…"
TO BE CONTINUED...
AfterwordMan. It took longer than I thought. Writer's block got hands.
So here it is, the second half of what was supposed to be one chapter. I was busy writing a story for a youtube channel, but I kind of want it to be voiced, and whenever I think about voicing it myself, I get discouraged immediately. Thinking it wouldn't make it better, or it is too much work for possibly too little payoff. For the next few projects I have thought of, it's going to be some time until the next chapter.
I first want to write a script for another youtube video, and also, I am about to star writing the seconds chapter of Third Sister; Darkness.
P.S: Lol forgot to upload the chapter for a whole year haha funny
