Isekai'd as the new French Miraculous Superhero Team.
Chapter 55: Hawk Moth's Counterpart Night Bat.
(Quantic Universe Earth 19274729568301958374, Paris, France, March 2nd, 2016, third person POV...)
Outside, Ladybug gets a notification that alerts her to the fact that the stealth squads were spotted because Night Bat has already long anticipated the day he would be discovered, and while they're gonna be busy dealing with his armies of clones, he's making a break for the sewer entrance above ground level right where she and the others are.
Ladybug then says, "He's anticipated being discovered. He's heading our way. Be ready for anything, and whatever you do, do not allow his tar-like substance to touch anything on you, and if any of that stuff gets on anything you have on yourselves, don't touch it whatsoever!"
Night Bat bursts out of the sewer entrance and flies up to the rooftop.
Ladybug gawks.
Ladybug mentally exclaims aghast before mentally saying, "Night Bat looks like a combination of Hawk Moth, Knightowl from both the Miraculous New York Episode and the Miraculous Adventures comic books, Batman from Batman Arkham Origins, Batman from Batman Arkham Origins: Cold, Cold Heart, Batman Beyond 2.0., Nite Owl II from the 2009 Watchmen movie, Nightwing from Batman Arkham Knight with a cape, a male version of Batgirl's armored appearance from Batman Arkham Knight: A Matter Of Family, Red Hood from Batman Arkham Knight and Batman Arkham Knight: Red Hood Story Pack, and Red Robin from Batman: A Death In The Family! How powerful is this guy anyway?! I have a feeling that we'll find out the hard way somehow, so I better be prepared for whatever Night Bat has in store."
Night Bat then deploys his shurikens that turned into robot versions of his elemental monster troops, including a human-sized Trash Krakken.
Ladybug roars, "CHARGE!"
The French Miraculous Superhero Team and the United Heroez rush towards the monsters, and having previously learned their lessons from their previous encounters, they managed to defeat the robots in no time while making sure that Ladybug's deployment squad returned to help make sure Night Bat didn't try to escape.
Night Bat, in the meantime, is caught in a heavy martial arts fight, having studied the fighting styles of Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Green Arrow, Nick Fury, Scorpio, Quan Chi, Raiden, Jax, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Black Cat, Catwoman, the Green Goblin, Doomsday, Reign, the lead members of The Hand, and General Zod among other powerful superhero and supervillain martial artists, wrestlers, street fighters, ninjas, Kung-Fu masters, monks, boxers, police officers, and even mercenaries to become a master combatant.
Eventually, Ladybug caught him off-guard with her Venom power immobilizing him.
Knightowl remarks, "(Deep voice) Well done, Ladybug."
Knightowl removes Night Bat's mask, revealing him to indeed be Milo McKnight, the former priest.
Majestia looks at Milo's frozen face in disgust, and she says, "To think my Earth mother regularly followed his religious scripture preachings in my childhood."
Ladybug growls like an angry lion, and she says, "Either way, his fate in the future has been sealed, and we can't do anything about his crimes other than keeping him under extreme lock and key in solitary confinement while making sure to strip him of his powers permanently."
Ladybug then says in her most authoritive voice yet before chanting in a combination of Latin, Traditional Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Romanian, Spanish, French, Russian, Korean, Arabic, Greek, Haitian Creole, Simplified Mandarin Chinese, Gaelic, Ukrainian, and Hindu, "I hereby strip Milo McKnight also known as Night Bat of his powers and natural abilities permanently!"
For the next minute and a half, Ladybug chants in the aforementioned sixteen languages a special chant that the Order of the Guardians invented to curse disgraced Miraculous users – while optionally erasing their memories if the Guardians believed that the disgraced champions might try to retaliate even if they don't find a way to dispose of their curses – and slightly modified by the monks under Grandmaster Su-Han and Grandmistress Sahna's shared and separate leaderships respectively to prepare for any Guardian encountering a metahuman, a mutant, another type of magic practitioner, a humanoid alien, a modern country leader, and other kinds of modern evildoers who have superpowers and natural abilities that the Guardians weren't initially trained to counterattack against and that the supervillains and other kinds of criminals can always use to escape from prisons of different kinds, even ones like the Phantom Zone, the Cube, the Big House, the Ravencroft Institution, Fort Rozz, Iron Heights, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, the Detention Zone, Garrus-9, and even the cells aboard the Dinobot Knight Ship that Lockdown seized.
Even Uncanny Valley was having a hard time keeping up with the 16 languages combination of magic words that the Order of the Guardians used to either curse disgraced Miraculous users, or to remove the powers and natural abilities of superhumans, whether temporarily or permanently, depending on the amount of words used and depending on which ones in the aforementioned languages are used for the chants.
In New York, as Night Bat is escorted into a police cruiser, a New York reporter says, "Yep, you heard me right and you're seeing it live, ladies and gentlemen. The fearsome Night Bat is actually the former priest Milo McKnight! Right here, we have Ladybug from Paris ready to give her statement."
Ladybug then says, "Nice to see someone is responsible for their job; such a skill is a rare commodity in even news reporting these days."
The reporter replies back, "Yes, well, I am definitely responsible. So, Ladybug, how did you find out where Night Bat was and who he was?"
Ladybug answers, "Simple. I cross-referenced the list of disgruntled, fired priests, as well as the list of people who violated the banned usage of a super soldier serum President Hombee had banned in accordance with the Co. v. Botsford 141 U.S. 250 1891 case from Page 15 of the U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment, but modified to include unethical physical animal experimentation, and the list of supervillains who secretly had been sighted on their stalking patrols and/or their getaways from crime scenes more than five times in a row, as well as cross-referencing specific features of Night Bat's face, the size of his face, and the shape of his face with anyone in any kind of criminal and civilian databases who either have such features, sizes, and shapes on their faces or who don't have anything of the sort. And in addition to that, I also cross-referenced the map of New York City and a similar map that most comic book writers would use to depict the hideouts of various comic book, cartoon, movie, and video game superheroes and supervillains such as Rorschach, Doctor Octopus, Doctor Strange, and Baron Mordo, for a few examples, to discern a general location that is also based on Night Bat's prowling routes and his getaway routes from his crime scenes that he and his armies of experiments, including clones, would frequently use while deviating from such paths to lead my new allies on wild goose chases every single time they try to pursue him to apprehend him. And well, it was only a matter of time before I got the final results."
The reporter remarks, "Huh. Never would've guessed that a French superhero like you who's age is ambiguous would have such a sharp and keen analytical mind. Anyway, you heard Ladybug right, viewers; her sharp and keen analytical mind allowed her to do the things to find Night Bat which would've given the United Heroez a brief rest from constantly pursuing him only to wind up going on several wild goose chases. This is Beatrice Campbell for CBS News, signing off."
Later, on one of the rooftops leading to the United Heroez headquarters, Majestia says, "Thank you all for your help. Because of your numbers, we have saved lots of people from potentially becoming more Trash Krakkens with different kinds of elements. And with Night Bat permanently imprisoned with his powers permanently removed, we now have made New York City that slightly more safe."
Black Tigra replies, "Our shared duty and pleasure."
The heroes fist-bump again before the French Miraculous Superhero Team went through Ladybug's large enough portal back to Paris.
In Paris, as the sun settles in the sky, Cat Noir remarks, "Great job, everybody!"
Some of the members hugged Cat Noir, but most of the others were a bit nervous, as even though the members of the team that were active so far already knew each other's identities, they didn't know about Adrien's preferences for physical contact.
Cat Noir says to the members who were nervous about hugging him, "Hey, it's okay, guys. With the exception of Iris Verdi, I accept hugs, pats on the back, pats on the shoulders, and romantical touches as long as they're not sexual."
Those members proceeded to hug Cat Noir for a brief ten seconds one at a time.
Ladybug then says, "Okay, everyone. Listen up. The next Akumatized villain to fight is Nadia Chamack aka Prime Queen. And I know just how to deal with both her and her boss Arlette. But remember, we need to trust each other one hundred percent if we're going to survive this war with the villains of our world if we're going to survive."
And so, for the next 5 minutes, Ladybug explained her plan and got everyone's opinions on which parts of her plan to improve upon for better results. And then they all returned home.
In Marinette's bedroom, Marinette then says, "Okay, so, the Prime Queen problem is only fifty percent solved, but the next twenty-five percent of the problem lies in babysitting Manon on the same night. Regardless, I know for a fact that my army of clones will always come through for me to the end."
Tikki then points out, "And the remaining twenty-five percent of the problem lies in who is going to scold both Arlette and Ms. Chamack for their actions in the incident before Ms. Chamack becomes Prime Queen."
Marinette replies, "Way ahead of you, my little companion; I got in contact with Arlette's own boss, and the instant that Ms. Chamack is returned to normal, both her and Arlette will receive a warning respectively for how Arlette treats her employees and for how Nadia is supposed to do her job as a reporter. And if either of them or both of them refuse to adhere to this warning, they will be fired or demoted. Hopefully, I can ensure that Hawk Moth doesn't try to Akumatize Ms. Chamack again before Heroes' Day and ensure that he doesn't Akumatize Arlette whatsoever. But don't quote me on that."
Tikki nods.
Marinette gets to work on creating a 15 step plan that hopefully wouldn't be 100% needed if Prime Queen is not as tough as Hawk Moth would make her become in this timeline.
Marinette then says, "Ahh, what a good and bad way to get back into the swing of dealing with Akumatized supervillains before the 2016 Heroes' Day, huh?"
The End.
(Author's notes: See you all in chapter 56: Prime Queen vs. Radio Queen.)
