Chapter 63: Behemoth vs. Gigantitan.

(Quantic Universe Earth 19274729568301958374, Paris, France, March 27th, 2016, third person POV...)

In Marinette's bedroom, Marinette and Alya are having a meeting with Noah, Liam, Ethan, Ryan, Samuel, Eidan, Milo, Daxton, Archie, Edgardo, Erik, Maverick, Evan, Dylan, Amarantha, Kim, Nino, Chloe, Sabrina, Ivan, Marc, Nathanael, Aurore, Mireille, Jean, Cherry, Lillia, Marleigh, Selina, Kiara, Rosemary, Leana, Genevieve, Maliyah, Dalia, Melissa, Millie, Naomi, Ava, Hazel, Ella, Quinn, Alice, Catherine, Dorothy, Alix, Juleka, Mylene, and Rose.

Alya says first, "Thanks for showing up, guys and girls. So, listen up, please. I've got... the biggest scoop! But FYI, it's level 5 classified. Top secret, invaluable intel that can be abused by anyone we know or don't know as an enemy if we're not careful."

Alix asks, "You know who Ladybug is?"

Juleka, Mylene, Rose, and the other girls and the boys gasp in shock and awe.

Alya answers, "No, but this is just as much big news. Marinette is in love with somebody."

Alix replies, "Yeah. Adrien Agreste."

The boys and the rest of the girls chuckle at that.

Marinette remarks, "I'm guessing it was that obvious, correct?"

Mylene answers, "Yes, it was."

Marinette then says, "Well, guess what? Adrien is in love with me as well, and we knew it right from our first meeting for the first time since his mother's death."

The guys and the girls gasp at that, but Alya secretly knew that it was a white lie because it was the wrong time to pick them as Miraculous users. And if Marinette's small amusement directed discreetly at Alya was any indication, the blogger knew that Marinette said a few days into her Ladybug identity reveal that because Alya was incompetent at being a reporter in the original mainstream timelines with and without Thomas Astruc at the helm, and because a big majority of Ms. Bustier's class refused to believe Marinette over Lila regardless of what forms of evidence she has or doesn't have just because that majority of the class is somewhat dumb, Marinette will never pick anyone except for Alix to be the users of the rest of the Miraculouses in the Chinese Zodiac Miracle Box, as well as the Miraculouses contained in the Thai Zodiac, Japanese Zodiac, Vietnamese Zodiac, Burmese Zodiac, Western Zodiac, Korean Zodiac, Hindu Zodiac, Celtic Zodiac, Egyptian Zodiac, Native American Zodiac, Canadian Zodiac, Russian Zodiac, African Zodiac, Spanish Zodiac, Turkish Zodiac, Mexican Zodiac, Cuban Zodiac, Uruguayan Zodiac, Kazakhstan Zodiac, Palestine Zodiac, Crete Zodiac, Ukrainian Zodiac, Moldovan Zodiac, Bulgarian Zodiac, Cyprus Zodiac, Swiss Zodiac, Norwegian Zodiac, Taiwanese Zodiac, Australian Zodiac, Paraguayan Zodiac, Scottish Zodiac, Belgium Zodiac, Armenian Zodiac, Modern Italian Zodiac, Yugoslav Zodiac, UAE Zodiac, Singapore Zodiac, Madagascar Zodiac, Uzbekistan Zodiac, Netherlands Zodiac, Denmark Zodiac, New Zealand Zodiac, Czech Zodiac, Iranian Zodiac, Hungarian Zodiac, Polish Zodiac, Brazilian Zodiac, Belarus Zodiac, Baltic State Zodiac, German Zodiac, Canary Island Zodiac, British Zodiac, Austrian Zodiac, French Zodiac, Syrian Zodiac, Saudi Arabic Zodiac, Colombian Zodiac, Hawaiian Zodiac, Venezuelan Zodiac, Ceylon Zodiac, Philippines Zodiac, Nepal Zodiac, Finnish Zodiac, Romanian Zodiac, Icelandic Zodiac, Oceanian Zodiac, Indonesian Zodiac, Portuguese Zodiac, Chile Zodiac, Peruvian Zodiac, Argentinean Zodiac, Swedish Zodiac, Tibetan Zodiac, Irish Zodiac, Israeli Zodiac, Afghanistan Zodiac, Morocco Zodiac, Tunisian Zodiac, Algerian Zodiac, Cambodian Zodiac, Azerbaijan Zodiac, English Zodiac, Welsh Zodiac, Breton Zodiac, Polynesian Zodiac, Islamic Zodiac, and even the Babylonian Zodiac Miracle Boxes among other kinds of Miracle Boxes associated with different kinds of folklore and mythology with different kinds of animals, both singular and hybrid.

And along with that, Alya remembered that Marinette said that regardless of timeline technicalities and alterations, Alya for her actions in regards to Marinette's Ladybug identity, to Lila's lies, to the forced shipping of Ladybug, Cat Noir, Marinette, and Adrien in different directions, and refusing to check her sources about Lila's lies regardless of her bullheaded arrogance, pride, impatience, and desire to be a top reporter among other things makes her unworthy of even the Ladybug Miraculous, even as a temporary hero.

But if there's another thing Alya knows about this iteration of Marinette, it's that sometimes, but not always, she'll change her mind if it means keeping specific parts of the timeline in chronological order, as much as she wouldn't want to do so.

In the present, Rose then asks, "But how? Boys usually never pick up on things like that."

Ivan adds, "As a boy, I second that."

The others say in unison, "Here here."

Marinette answers, "And the same applies to some girls in the same situation. Anyway, how I knew this is simple. The following signs are what allowed me to see that Adrien was in love with me when we first met years ago thanks to Chloe and when we saw each other last year after his mother's death: first, Adrien acted differently with me than with anyone in our respective social circles. Second, Adrien always made it a point to be near me whenever we spent time together, even if we weren't always talking about anything. Third, he thinks I'm really amazing, even in spite of my flaws that I don't always keep in check, such as my potty mouth and my inability to keep my rage from exploding like a satchel of frag grenades going off at the same time if I'm in a really bad mood. (The girls: Ooh.) Fourth, Adrien tends to stare at me from any appropriate angle. Fifth, he tries to keep our conversations going, even if they're not always personal conversations. Sixth, Adrien tends to stretch his body whenever I'm around. Seventh, he often speaks loudly whenever I'm nearby. Eighth, he tends to play with his hair or straighten his back and posture. Ninth, heavy eye contact. Tenth, his body language such as his hand gestures and even pointing his feet on the floor in my direction, even when he thinks that I'm not looking. And eleventh among others, he often smiles at me, even for no reason at all."

Alya then adds, "Yeah, and among those signs, that was when Marinette realized Adrien loved her. And when they confessed shortly after our second day of school, they decided to hold off on dating each other until Mr. Agreste lets go of his grief over Ms. Agreste's passing."

Rose asks, "Why?"

Marinette answers, "I'd tell you, but it'd involve me as well as Chloe and Alya having to reveal lots of top-secret information that even I don't trust people in our social circles or anyone else I meet in the future to know. And besides, if any one of you found out about the information that Adrien, Chloe, my parents, Alya and I keep a secret from everyone else, chances are that some of you who have already experienced being Akumatized for the first time might end up so upset with the details of this kind of information that you might end up getting Akumatized again. Even I can't risk it."

Mylene questions in a pressing manner, "But don't you trust us?"

Everyone asks similar things.

Marinette gets so fed up as she replies, "Oh, for f(bleep!) sakes, I'm Ladybug! There, you happy?"

The guys and the other girls except for Chloe ask in unified shock and awe, "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!"

Marinette then says, "Yeah, everything I said during my press conference on my first day is true."

Alix then asks, "Why choose now to inform us?"

Marinette answers, "18 reasons. One, to expand my circle of trust and to ensure I can have additional support with and without any of you guys being chosen to use Miraculous jewels."

The guys and girls remark in unison, "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..." "Awww..."

Marinette continues, "Two, to ensure that you as Akumatized villains don't uncover my identity while under Hawk Moth's control. Especially by hacking into my computer or reading through my journals. And yes, I use boy journals, not diaries; those are for little girls of the traditional stereotypes."

The guys and girls remark in unison, "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh." "Oh."

Marinette continues, "Three, to make sure you know that if anyone says on any news outlets that they're friends with Ladybug, don't believe that person unless you happen to have an encyclopedic form of intel about Ladybug's social circle."

Alix then asks, "Wait. So, the rumors about Lila being a liar are true?"

Marinette answers patiently, "Yes, but don't get upset about it; chances are that she'll use fake tears and quickly thought up lies to paint you guys as bullies, and the more dumb members of the school would be more than likely to believe her and ostracize you guys from anything. And if Hawk Moth detects your feelings of anger and sadness over being lied to, he could find some way to Akumatize all of you into an unstoppable team of supervillains to kill her, and by the time you're returned to normal, if the Miraculous Cure doesn't bring her back, you'd all be sentenced to life imprisonment regardless of the technicalities of being Akumatized."

The guys and girls looked at each other before taking calming breaths.

After they finish, Marinette continues, "Four, to make sure you know that using Miraculouses as superheroes come with a great big deal of responsibility, including ones that possess the ability to travel through time."

Rosemary inquires, "There are Miraculouses that can give us the ability to travel in time?"

Marinette answers, "Yes. The Rabbit and Snake Miraculouses. But the Snake Miraculous only allows you to travel five minutes into the past to change the outcome of a battle, and if you don't continue using the Snake Miraculous within that five minute time limit until you find the solution that guarantees permanent victory, you'll end up transforming back."

Rosemary replies, "Oh. Right."

Alya adds, "On the other hand, the Rabbit Miraculous can allow you to travel forwards and backwards in time, but remember, any alterations to the past can change the future, a la The Time Machine, Back To The Future, X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Star Trek, The Terminator, Arrival, Primer, Interstellar, Planet Of The Apes, Transformers Beast Wars, the Transformers Generation 1 episode War Dawn, and Doctor Who among others."

Juleka asks, "So, you're saying that the rules in those cartoon episodes and movies are the same as the real life rules of time travel when using the Snake Miraculous and the Rabbit Miraculous?"

Alya answers, "In a sense, yeah."

Marinette then says, "For example, Alix, I'm using you as an example of using the Rabbit Miraculous. If you see any form of alternate timelines where Hawk Moth actually wished for his wife to be brought back to life at the cost of his own, especially after asking me to keep silent about his identity from everyone else, including any of his relatives who may or may not include children, if you see none of that happening in this timeline, there will be consequences for attempting to even make any of that happen in this timeline, including you having the Rabbit Miraculous permanently revoked, having your memories as a Miraculous user and your memories of the identities of every one of your teammates permanently erased, and as a last resort, myself or my benefactors having no choice but to invoke a powerful, ancient curse upon you and your future bloodline that prevents you and your future offspring from using any Miraculouses at all. And you don't want that to happen."

Alix gulps before nodding in understanding, feeling a sense of dread that if there were more rules for using the Rabbit Miraculous, there would be equally devastating consequences for breaking any more of those rules.

Marinette continues, "Five, to make sure you all know what's at stake if anyone finds out anything about me that they're not supposed to know, Hawk Moth and any corrupt police officers in Paris aside. Six, to make sure you know that you can be considered Miraculous-wielding superheroes and Guardians of the Miraculouses only if you follow specific ancient rules that make sense and specific modern rules I helped to come up with that make the most logical sense than some of the more archaic ancient rules that violate specific civil freedoms and liberties in the Order of the Guardians. Seven, to make sure you know what's at stake if Hawk Moth or any of his allies, current, former, temporary, future, or otherwise, or anyone similar to Lila find out anything about me that they're not supposed to know, or if they try to steal my Miraculous, or if they try to break me down enough to get me Akumatized or to make me commit suicide. Eight, to make sure you know that specific things I did and specific things everyone else in our social circles did, either publicly or privately, was all to ensure our shared mission to throw Hawk Moth, Mayura, and Hawk Moth II in prison on Heroes' Day go according to plan, before going on to make sure that Zixin Yuanyuan aka Cash and King Cash, Techno-Pirate, Ignoblia, Tomoe Tsurugi, and so forth would remain either in prison or dead if absolutely necessary."

Cherry asks, "Wait, wait. Tomoe Tsurugi, the blind fencer from Japan, is allied with Hawk Moth?!"

The other girls and the guys gasp in shock and horror.

Marinette answers before continuing, "Yes, but I'll get to that at a later date. Nine, to make sure you know that anything you do in my presence or behind my back regardless of how well you know me and regardless of whatever lies that Lila Rossi spews about me can and will be closely monitored and reported to not just your parents, but also to the Parisian police for safety's sake."

The girls and boys nod in fearful understanding, wanting to avoid trouble.

Marinette continues again, "The tenth reason is to make sure you know that if anyone other than Alya posts my identity onto the Parisian or worldwide news, the next morning, there'll be news headlines about Hawk Moth killing me and my parents to steal my Miraculous and go on to steal Cat Noir's Miraculous so he can revive his wife."

The girls and the guys gulped in unison. Marinette decides not to comment on that.

Marinette continues once again, "Reason number eleven, to make sure you know that I won't always be able to solve most of my hero problems on my own, especially if for some reason, Hawk Moth and his associates manage to somehow escape being arrested on the 2016 Heroes' Day and/or escape from prison and go on to continue causing trouble for either their own benefits or for their common goals of killing me and everyone I care about, with and/or without stealing back the original Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses."

Lillia states, "Rest assured, Marinette, you can count on us."

The other girls and the boys nod in unison.

Marinette replies before she continues once again, "Thanks, girls and boys. Reason number twelve, to make sure that all of you knows that there are many things wrong with the original timeline on Quantic Universe Earth 1/Earth Prime, therefore meaning that the theory of the multiverse is no longer just a theory, and I intend to change all of those rules from that timeline in this timeline, and if anyone tries to stop me, especially if they turn out to be persistent or if they have selective hearing for how the timeline should be operated, they will have their powers permanently taken away, and they will be imprisoned in my own form of a maximum security prison that I invented for EVERY type of superhero and supervillain in fictional and real life existences in our multiverse as an alternative to killing them for their crimes: The Frozen Time Detention Center!"

Alya plays back on her phone, "(Marinette's voice; dramatically) DUN DUN DUHHHHHHHHHH!"

Alix asks in a quivering tone, "T-t-the F-Frozen Time Detention Center?"

Marinette answers, "Yes. A maximum security detention center where the prisoners are either frozen in time and forced to watch time progress until they are ready to be released and reintegrated into society for an acceptable job in exchange for avoiding more prison time, or placed in traditional cells with no technology, no resources, and combines elements of ancient jail cells with modern versions and futuristic versions devoid of technology suitable for villains like Techno-Pirate."

Alix gulps in response.

Marinette explains the remaining six reasons, and even though it looks like the rest of the girls and the boys are taking notes, that didn't change the fact that Marinette now had new allies.

At the end, Selina says, "Rest assured, Marinette, you have our full support."

Marinette looks tearfully joyful, especially when the girls group hug her passionately and when the boys hug her and they kiss her, much to her blushing surprise.

And so, with just six hours in the morning to spare on this weekend, Marinette told the Girl Platoon and the Boy Platoon everything about her origins and Chloe's origins, much to everyone else's shock, she told them all about how Adrien and Felix were Sentimonsters, she told them about the theory of Kagami being a Sentimonster, she told them about the theory that Canon Chloe was a Sentimonster despite the illogical points about it pointing it to be true, she told them all about how Gabriel got what he wanted and how it really happened, she told them all about Lila Rossi's identities and crimes, she told them all about how ever since the Timetagger episode with Bunnyx's debut, Lila has been the most popular theory about who would replace Gabriel as Hawk Moth, only for that theory to come true after Gabriel's final victory and defeat, she told them about the crimes her counterparts committed with and/or without Thomas Astruc at the helm, she told them all about Thomas Astruc being a misogynistic, take-no-criticism, give-no-spoiler-alert manchild who holds grudges and does everything he can to get his revenge with no complaints, regrets, or punishments and who screwed over the Miraculous Ladybug fandom one too many times before he was reassigned to be a producer for season 6 onwards, she told them all about how, based on her studies of the Multiverse, some versions of Thomas Astruc were fired for their actions because of fan complaints and bad reviews, others got away scot-free, possibly due to some incompetence on Jeremy Zag's part, and some other versions got fired, only to become a serial killer in a form of revenge to the point where he had to be executed, and she told them all about the original timelines, including Canon Chloe being an unrepentant bully whose redemption arc was tossed away by the misogynistic man-child director who had a grudge against a former high school bully, and including the ways that Future Alix as Bunnyx had screwed up, with and/or without the real Thomas Astruc at the helm and regardless of what excuses she had about "keeping the timeline in chronological order, the way I remember it, regardless of the consequences," and how some versions of her had screwed up to the point where disciplinary action had to commence.

To say that everyone in Marinette's room was trying to keep their anger in check was an understatement. Especially including Alix since she now knows how much Marinette hates her future hero self for screwing everyone in the past over just because she thinks that whether or not it's permitted, she can do whatever she wants with the Rabbit Miraculous and get away with it.

But with the reveal of Marinette's identity as Ladybug came the reveal of her Akuma and Amok repelling Magical Charms, except that this version was created to repel all forms of Akumas and Amoks no matter how powerful they are while getting stronger every day that the Butterfly Miraculous and the Peacock Miraculous remain in Gabriel Agreste's possession and/or in the possession of other true Miraculous Ladybug villains like Lila and Tomoe Tsurugi, while being able to purify any and all Akumas and Amoks that come within five feet of the charms, while being able to instantaneously repair themselves if they're ever damaged or destroyed, and while being able to be made even without needing the energies of purified Akuma butterflies or Amokized feathers.

And, as Marinette added, she added four fail safes for if in the event the Magical Charms are about to be discovered, if in the event the Butterfly Miraculous and any of its clones are stolen, if in the event Gabriel Agreste escapes arrest and/or imprisonment with and/or without everyone knowing about him being Hawk Moth to continue his crimes all the way to the Re-Creation episode of season 5, or if in the event the Magical Charms are ineffective against stronger Akumatizations from either Hawk Moth or from Nooroo using his powers without being merged with his Miraculous: first and foremost, in the instant that the Magical Charms are unable to prevent their users from being Akumatized in time, they allow the Akumatized users to be able to prevent themselves from spilling any Miraculous or other kinds of secrets to Hawk Moth and to prevent themselves from telling Hawk Moth about it as an added safety precaution. Second, while under the effects of the first fail safe, if Hawk Moth tries harder to make his champions spill any secrets after sensing through their emotions and thoughts – without mind reading – that they have something to say or are trying to remember something important, the magic of the first fail safe will trigger selective memory loss in the Akumatizations which will be semi-permanent and will be undone once the Akumatized victims are returned to normal. Third, if in the event Hawk Moth begins to suspect something's not right with his Akumas failing to reach their targets the first few times around, the Magical Charms will turn invisible and mask their magical signatures from Hawk Moth's powers while making him think that his Akumas have targeted someone else for about fifteen seconds, and no matter how many times it happens, the results will more or less stay the same. And fourth, if in the event Hawk Moth does make a stronger Akuma other than a Mega Akuma, the Magical Charms' first 2 to 4 upgrades will activate simultaneously and repel any Mega Akuma 2.0.'s that Hawk Moth comes up with.

But then, Marinette says, "But just so you know, giving everyone in Paris a Magical Charm is too risky."

Kiara asks, "Why?"

Marinette answers, "Because if specific chronological Akumatizations are averted, even after Heroes' Day, Hawk Moth might find someone else to Akumatize, and that'll throw the timeline order of Akumatized supervillains out of whack. And besides, if Hawk Moth can't find anyone in Paris to Akumatize whatsoever, he'll just end up Akumatizing Nathalie into a supervillain capable of finding out about the Magical Charms and allow him to bypass them. Or even worse, he could forcefully relocate himself, Adrien, Nathalie, and Emilie to a new location where there's lots of potential for negative emotions, not just Gotham City and New York City."

Alix says in realization, "You're concerned about the Chaos Theory and the Butterfly Effect. As well as the likelihood that Gabriel will immediately suspect that something's up."

Marinette nods before saying, "Until the time comes for me to recruit more heroes to train until Heroes' Day comes, under no circumstances must you seek me out in battle or ask to be given a Miraculous jewel or tell anyone about what you have learned today. But the one exception for new heroes is for Alix."

Marinette takes out the Rabbit Miraculous and gives Alix the one hundred and fifty rules for using the Rabbit Miraculous that she came up with on the day she was reincarnated into Marinette Dupain-Cheng at birth. And to say that Alix was now one hundred percent more terrified of Marinette's wrath, the anti-Miraculous curse, the potential permanent memory wiping, her future children and future bloodline descendants not being able to use Miraculous jewels whatsoever, Marinette's assortment of punishments including the likelihood of Alix being restrained and having her feet tickle tortured while she's upside down in a garbage can full of water, and being permanently kicked off of the French Miraculous Superhero Team than facing the wrath of her future counterparts for refusing to change the status quo of this native timeline to match the original ones was an understatement.

Alya then says, "Anyway, back to the business at hand. Your mission, in the event you choose to accept it, is to arrange a simple romantic date between Marinette and Adrien."

Rose remarks, "Oh, that's so sweet!"

But before anything else can be said, Marinette points out, "Alya! Remember what I told you and the others about the Cat Blanc, Ephemeral, Megabug, Princess Justice, Black Widow, Lady Misfortune, Scarlet Fever, The Protector, Couturiere, Kwaminette, and Widow Maker timelines where Adrien and I were Akumatized, either because of Lila or because of Gabriel as Hawk Moth?"

Alya replies, "Oh, yeah, and I remember that you told me that the Megabug and Cat Blanc timelines were just the first two iterations of the scenario where Gabriel blackmails you into breaking up with Adrien to avoid him being pulled from school just to Akumatize you, and in the Cat Blanc iteration, that failed when Adrien transformed in front of you and the security of his home to destroy the Akuma in time, and causing Hawk Moth to lure you two to his repository so he could break Adrien down to Akumatize him into Cat Blanc, and as the villain with infinite destruction at his fingertips, he destroyed the moon, flooded the whole Earth, and petrified anyone within close enough range into coal statues that would disintegrate underwater if they were touched."

The girls murmured with each other before Alya says, "But anyway, let's not focus on that now; let's focus on your relationship with Adrien in the present."

Alix replies, "Sounds good to me."

Juleka adds, "Big time!"

Mylene adds as well, "We know we can always count on you as Ladybug or as yourself, Marinette. So, in comparison, you can count on us, too."

The other girls and the boys say similar things one after the other.

Marinette replies gratefully, "Nice to know. Thanks, girls and guys."

Alya then says, "You're up, Marinette."

Marinette then says, "Alya and I have come up with a simple three-step plan called Operation: Fresh Eden, in reference to the Garden of Eden from the Bible."

Mylene then questions, "Pardon me for asking, but why do we need a plan? I mean, can't Marinette just go up to Adrien and ask him out?"

The girls laugh in unison, but Marinette reveals, "Well, here's the thing: my real plan in accordance with Operation: Fresh Eden is to ensure that my plan to prevent the baby boy known as August Malinvaud from getting Akumatized doesn't fail."

The girls and the guys exclaim in unison, "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!"

Marinette replies as she explains, "Yes, you see, I'm holding off on dating Adrien until we throw his father, Nathalie, and Lila in prison before reviving Emilie Agreste to attend her soon-to-be former husband's trial and raise Adrien better than before, along with the fact that I want to see if my plan, which involves calling Adrien for an exercise outing – after getting permission from his father and Nathalie, that is – helping August's mother with her son's stroller and demandings for lollipops despite the fact that, regardless of how stupid half a year old, one year old, two year old, three year old, and four year old babies are, he's too young to be eating lollipops, and ensuring that Lieutenant Raincomprix doesn't pester Placide about parking Mr. Agreste's car in a no parking zone despite the fact that the no parking zone isn't where Placide parked the car, comes to fruition, because if August does get Akumatized into Gigantitan, I am not gonna be participating in the battle."

The guys and the girls, including Alya, exclaim in unison, "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!" "What?!"

Rose inquires, "Why won't you help August if he does get Akumatized?!"

Marinette doesn't flinch as she answers, "I hate babies. Simple as that."

Alya replies, "I remember now; you said that because of your bad experiences in dealing with babies who won't stop crying no matter what you did, babies who cough and sneeze without covering their mouths, babies who do things that they're not supposed to just because of their natural born curiosity, and babies who test your patience, you developed a deep hatred of babies."

Rose then starts to say, "But how could someone like you hate such cute – "

But Marinette growls viciously, letting her dark streak show, making Rose back down, emphasizing how serious Marinette is with her threats and warnings, along with her outbursts of anger.

Ivan then says scaredly, "I don't think I'd want to date anyone if they exhibited that much rage!"

Marinette gives off her infamous Gravemaker stare, and she growls more viciously than before, before calming herself down.

Marinette then says, "Sorry; I tend to lose control of my impulses whenever I'm in a bad mood."

Alya then says, "But don't worry, bestie; if you don't want to deal with Gigantitan, you have an army of clones and humanoid robots who can take your place."

Marinette replies with a face palm, "Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. Duh!"

Mylene then asks, "Okay, but aside from what we all learned, why would Marinette need a three step plan to ask out Adrien on an exercise outing? Can't she just ask for Gabriel's permission?"

Alya replies as she also points out, "Even if Gabriel did say yes, he'd still advise Marinette to take it easy due to Adrien's strict model diet."

Rose replies back, "Yes, but Gabriel has a private dietician to make sure Adrien is being fed different kinds of healthy food."

Marinette points out in response, "Yes, but Gabriel is extreme about even the healthy foods Adrien is or isn't allowed to eat in his diet."

Rose replies back, "Oh."

Alya then says, "Now, each and every one of the first six girls in our platoon will be given a codename based on a flower. Alix will be Violet, Mylene will be Sunflower, Juleka will be Rose, and the real Rose will be Tulip."

Rose inquires, "Um, why isn't my name '"Rose?"' "

Alya replies, "Because '"Rose"' is indeed your real name, and it'll create confusion about who's who in terms of codenames. And besides, if there's one thing Marinette hates to an extreme, it's when people get things confused for other things one time too many, such as codenames based on plant or animal names that are also common first names in countries like France and the United States. For example, Rose, if we continued calling Juleka by her Rose codename and if you keep getting confused about whether or not we're calling you by your real name, Marinette will get so (bleep!) that she'll likely take her excessive anger out on you, either by violence or by administering more severe punishments, non-violent or otherwise."

Rose shivers a bit as she nods in understanding.

Marinette then says, "Anyway, Adrien, aka '"Buttercup"' has a photo shoot at the Trocadéro fountains. His security guard, also known as '"the nanny,"' will be waiting for him in the car, '"the chariot,"' on the other side of the esplanade, to take '"Buttercup"' back home, except that there's one thing he's not counting on: us being there to ensure Adrien has company before and after his photoshoot ends. And here's how I'm gonna ask Adrien for an exercise outing to discuss with his father. Step one: '"Rose,"' aka Juleka, will walk up to Placide and ask him to pass along a message to Mr. Agreste. Step two: '"Sunflower,"' aka Mylene, you'll go find one of my couriers and say, (Imitating Mylene's voice) Hello, Mr. Courier. Oh, look! My friend and her boyfriend are about to have a conversation; I was wondering if you could give him something from her. (Imitating "Courier's" voice) Well, you don't say! I shall go and fulfill my duty for her immediately! Thank you, young lady."

In an animated film scene, the courier, who happens to be Marinette's older brother Marichel Dupain-Cheng, who had gone on to live with their maternal grandparents in China shortly after her fifth birthday – this information was omitted from Marinette's memory by her mother for reasons unknown – and who she reunited with three days ago and filled in about everything, which he took surprisingly well, delivers Adrien in disguise a gift card for the vegetarian restaurant Alain Passard.

Marinette then says, "And for clarification, that gift card for the vegetarian restaurant is only gonna be used when we go on a Saturday health food outing this coming weekend. Anyway, step three, '"Tiger-Lily"' will let us know when '"Buttercup"' is ready to go home so we can let '"The Nanny"' do his job."

Alya says while pointing to herself, "Tiger-Lily."

In the fantasy scene, Alya signals that Adrien is done with his photoshoot before running away to hide herself.

Marinette and Adrien give each other a kiss on the lips and cheeks before Adrien walks to Placide's car.

Marinette then narrates, "And when '"Buttercup"' and '"The Nanny"' go home, my plan to prevent '"Lollipop Lover Boy"' from getting Akumatized will have succeeded!"

Rose then says as she catches on, "That's August!"

Juleka gives Rose an approving pat on her head.

Alix then asks with hand-quote gestures, "But when '"Buttercup"' sees that the '"chariot's"' still there and that '"Lollipop Lover Boy"' is throwing a tantrum over not getting a lollipop, won't he just text, um, '"Lotus,"' aka Marinette?"

Marinette scoffs before answering, "No, he won't. You see, as I remember from my foreknowledge and from asking questions to help increase the stakes of security on Gabriel's behalf without overdoing it, '"Buttercup"' always leaves his personal belongings in the car during a photoshoot, including his cell phone. For Adrien, he knows his father wouldn't approve of him getting distracted because of him getting a phone call, a text message, or even a news notification in the middle of a photoshoot. BUT just so you know, especially including you, Alix, unlike my canon counterparts, I am not trying to become a stalker that deserves to rot in jail until she turns one hundred years old or even put in a lunatic's mental institution for the criminally insane. Even in my old life as Mikaela Haselwood, I knew better than that, and I still do. BUT when it comes to changing things in the chronological order of the show from the time Thomas Astruc started directing to the time where he became only a producer for season six onwards, some things will be somewhat kept in chronological order, but different, while others will be radically changed to suit my vision for how Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir should've happened, without Canon Marinette and Canon Adrien and Canon Pretty Much Everyone Else In Our Class being complete and total dumb idiots with no brain cells or common sense or knowledge of how romantical love works along with everything else that falls under the category of people in our universe being idiots."

Marinette then looks over at everyone, and she could totally see the seeds of doubt and mistrust had been planted, most especially in Alix despite what she now knows about how her counterparts have screwed up.

Alix then asks Rose in a whisper, "(Softly) Marinette knows so much about us and about the future... doesn't that sound creepy?"

Marinette clears her throat, signifying that she caught Alix in the act.

Marinette then says, "Alix, I know you mean well, but you gotta understand, there are lots of things about the mainstream original timelines that need to be changed and that must be changed, no matter what anyone else has to say about it. I was even given permission from my Guardian superiors, my new parents, and Unity Harbinger himself. But all the same, I do have contingency plans to neutralize even myself at the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth signs of any form of mental instability. But, I assure you, after I finish changing things all the way to making sure that Chloe becomes the new Mayor of Paris, making sure that Gabriel, Nathalie, Lila, and all of their supervillain/criminal allies and enemies rot in prison, making sure that the Butterfly Miraculous is safe and sound in the Miracle Box alongside the Ladybug, Black Cat, Fox, Bee, Turtle, Peacock, Dragon, Snake, Monkey, Horse, Pig, Rooster, Dog, Goat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, and Mouse Miraculouses when and if we ever decide to retire and pass the torch onto any of our children, religious scriptures and prophecies aside, and so forth, I intend to live out the rest of my life in peace. With and/or without my powers, my resources, my armies of clones, or my nearly infinite amounts of foreknowledge."

Alix sighs in response, Marinette's words ringing true in her mind despite some small lingering doubts.

Marinette then says, "So anyways, (Imitating Ms. Malinvaud's voice) Thank you so much, young lady! I had no idea you cared for even babies that much. (Normal voice) I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't like babies that much. However, I recognize that babies happen to be the first steps for a human being's natural life span, similarly to many animals on Earth, regardless of whether they're extinct or they're still alive. Nevertheless, I'd rather deal with spilled food at home than an Akumatized baby."

Juleka points out, "But what if Ms. Malinvaud takes your saying about babies the wrong way?"

Marinette narrates, "But please don't take this the wrong way, madam; just because I don't like babies right now doesn't mean I won't change my mind in the future, no matter if I get married to someone I know or if I wind up alone, having to fend for myself even if I have my parents providing me support for anything."

Juleka remarks, "Wow. Didn't know you had such a way with words."

Marinette replies, "I simply state the facts after analyzing the data of what I have to say. In most cases of men and women who come from a childhood of having to deal with annoying younger siblings or even a teenage era where they have to deal with babysitting duties, they tend to despise children and babies later in life, but only if they have bad experiences that test their patience and make them have rage quits."

The girls and boys look at each other in thought, thinking the same thing: despite her flaws and despite what other problems she has, Marinette really is smarter than she looks.

Marinette then says, "So anyways, we all only got one shot to make this count for something, but just so you know, like Megatron from Transformers, I have no patience or room on my mission board for failures or screw-ups, so if any of you screws up even twice, there will be a call for punishment! Do I make myself clear?"

Everyone replies, "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!" "Yes ma'am!"

Marinette then makes a fist crackling with static electricity and she remarks, "Autobots, let us commence Operation: Fresh Eden!"

The girls and boys raise their hands and cheer in unison, "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!"

At the Trocadéro, Vincent is taking photos of Adrien for the photoshoot.

Adrien smiles more naturally in the photos, thanks to discreet telepathic messages from Marinette.

Vincent then says while taking pictures, "Yes, that's it! More happy! The smile on your face like you're smelling a scrumptious lunch in ze kitchen!"

Vincent examines Adrien's face and remarks, "Si, si! We definitely have what we need."

In the short time span that Operation: Fresh Eden is finished, Ms. Malinvaud comes up to the photoshoot location, wheeling her baby August in a stroller.

Adrien waves at August, and chuckles a bit when August returns the wave.

August looks around and sees nothing of interest.

But then, Ms. Malinvaud struggles to carry August's stroller up the steps.

Marinette rushes over to help Ms. Malinvaud and she helps her carry the stroller up the steps carefully.

Ms. Malinvaud says, "Oh! Thank you so much, young lady! I had no idea you cared for even babies that much."

Marinette replies, "You're welcome, madam, and I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't like babies that much. However, I recognize that babies happen to be the first steps for a human being's natural life span, similarly to many animals on Earth, regardless of whether they're extinct or they're still alive. Nevertheless, I'd rather deal with spilled food at home than an Akumatized baby."

Ms. Malinvaud then starts to say, "Um..."

But Marinette says in response, "But please don't take this the wrong way, madam; just because I don't like babies right now doesn't mean I won't change my mind in the future, no matter if I get married to someone I know or if I wind up alone, having to fend for myself even if I have my parents providing me support for anything."

Ms. Malinvaud nods in understanding and Marinette walks away.

But then, Marinette hears August complaining about not getting a lollipop, and she growls viciously like an angry lion, still walking away.

Alya says into her walkie-talkie, "Okay, it looks like Lollipop Lover Boy is throwing a fuss despite what his mother keeps telling him about him being too young for lollipops. And apparently, Lotus is getting very (bleep!) right now. Someone contact Purple Streak, now."

Purple Streak then turns up and she creates a Tenshi, sending it off to find Roman Mabray, a teenage babysitter who watches over children and babies alike for a living.

Purple Streak then says, "Behemoth, I am Purple Streak. I'm giving you the power you need to calm down babies from any temper tantrums, even including Hawk Moth's newest victim, August Malinvaud, aka Gigantitan. See if you can calm him down enough to deakumatize him. But please, don't hurt him; the potential public scrutiny and lawsuits are unthinkable."

Roman/Behemoth replies, "I shall do my best, Purple Streak."

Roman is turned into Behemoth, an armored simultaneous adult opposite and opposite color version of Gigantitan, but with the added ability of size changing.

In his lair, Hawk Moth exclaims as his Akuma flies away from his hired bodyguard, "What happened?! His negative emotions just vanished!"

August yells while crying, "Lollipop! Lollipop! Lollipop!"

The Akuma flies into his I.D. bracelet.

Hawk Moth sounds flabbergasted for a moment before saying, "This wasn't what I had in mind. But why not? After all, what could be more emotionally powerful than a baby throwing a giant temper tantrum? Gigantitan, I am Hawk Moth."

August asks, "Hawk-Moo?"

Hawk Moth raises an incredulous eyebrow before answering, "No, not Hawk-Moo, just Hawk Moth. Well, anyway, you're going to be big and strong, and you'll get to do whatever you want. But in return, you must get me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses."

August asks, "Lollipop?"

Hawk Moth replies, "Not lollipop! Miraculouses! Mi-ra-cu-louses!"

August becomes Gigantitan.

Ms. Malinvaud exclaims in shock and fear, "My little baby!"

Gigantitan shouts, "LOLLIPOP!"

Everyone around him starts to run away in fear, and Adrien's bodyguard shields him.

Gigantitan shouts again, "Lollipop!"

Behemoth grabs Ms. Malinvaud and jumps out of the way before Gigantitan can stomp on them both.

A bystander exclaims, "It's a baby!"

Mylene, Rose, and Juleka start to run away.

Alya remarks as she starts to record the incident for her blog, "Don't blink now!"

Mylene pulls Alya away and says, "Come on! You don't want to get sucked on by that big boy!"

Gigantitan spots a gold statue and says, "Lollipop!"

Gigantitan is about to rip the statue off of its pedestal, but Behemoth whistles, and Gigantitan turns around, seeing Behemoth there.

After five minutes, Behemoth used standard methods to get Gigantitan to relax, including playing popular lullaby songs, much to Hawk Moth's frustration.

Behemoth then reaches over to grab Gigantitan's I.D. badge and he rips it up, making the Akuma fly away.

Purple Streak comes up and purifies the Akuma, and August is turned back to normal, safely on the ground.

After August was returned to his mother and everything else was returned to normal, in Hawk Moth's lair, Hawk Moth snarls, "Purple Streak, Behemoth, Gigantitan may not have been big enough to do the job right, but I guarantee you, my next villain will be more than you can handle!"

The window to Hawk Moth's lair closes, and he says, "Nooroo, Dark Wings Fall."

Nooroo appears, and Gabriel says first, "Nooroo, can you please remind me to be more careful of who I Akumatize?"

Nooroo replies, "Of course, Master."

In Marinette's bedroom, Alix says, "You know, you could've done something to help Behemoth with August."

Marinette replies, "And risk getting sick for days because of me getting sucked on like a lollipop or risk me losing my temper because of August's incessant crying? No, thank you."

Fluff then asks, "But how will you be able to raise your own children in the future if you refuse to show affection for babies?"

Marinette replies, "Hhhaaa. It's because I remember how one of my old high school friends in my old life became a bully because of his abusive father. It took three months to build a case against him, and even after he was thrown in prison, my former friend was never accepted anywhere again. And even outside of that, my worst fear is that, if I have kids, sooner or later, one of them is gonna stumble across any of my secrets, and in all likelihood, they might blab them to someone somewhere, and if I tried to teach my kids about the Bible, they might turn to committing all different sorts of sins later in life because of Roarke taking advantage of their love for adventure, their desire for independence in the extreme sense, and their hypothetical hatred of rules and laws. In addition to the fact that, regardless of whether or not I wind up marrying Adrien in the future, I don't want my future children growing up the way Adrien grew up or the way that my former high school friend in my old life had grown up."

The girls and boys looked at each other in understanding.

Alix then comes up and hugs Marinette, and Marinette returns the hug as she starts crying for the first time in weeks since her last breakdown in the aftermath of Mannequin dealing with The Puppeteer.

After Marinette had her moment, Marinette then says as she turns her attention to her entire classmate section as well as children she met over the years, "So, are you guys ready to start training with using the European Dragonfly, African Monkey, Eurasian Falcon, German Beaver, Unicorn, North American Cheetah, Bird, Middle Eastern Fox, Phoenix, Southern European Rabbit, Indian Dolphin, Thunderbird, Northern European Bunny, Australian Firefly, New Zealand Penguin, Palearctic Nightingale, Asian Owl, Eurasian Mouse, South American Dragonfly, Brazilian Dragonfly, North American Dragonfly, Canadian Dragonfly, Asian Dragonfly, Japanese Dragonfly, African Dragonfly, Australian Dragonfly, Asian Monkey, Asian Falcon, African Falcon, North American Falcon, Canadian Falcon, South American Falcon, Brazilian Falcon, European Falcon, French Falcon, Australian Falcon, and so forth on all the Miraculouses I invented over the past year?"

Everyone says in unison, "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" "Hoo-ah!" Marinette then says, "Then let the Miraculous training commence!"

The End.

(Author's notes: See you all in chapter 64: Friends.)
