AN: I know I'm not technically supposed to do this, but I see other authors doing it all the time, so...
I'm putting Life is Precious on Hiatus. Possibly indefinitely. It's not a decision I make lightly. It's not the first story I've canceled, and I doubt it'll be the last. That's what writing is, right? Try something out, see if you like it or not. And people's interests don't always stay the same.
That's only part of the reason, though. As a little backstory, I've been looking for a job since I graduated college May '22. Well, I finally found one at the beginning of the month. That's over a year where I was literally just stuck staying at home with all the free time in the world. Working on four fanfics and my own original book was doable.
Now, though? Not so much.
I need to 'trim the fat', as it were. I don't have time to work on that many stories anymore, and my book takes number one priority. That's what I'm banking my future on. It's hard enough writing something like that without reducing my time able to work on it with so many extra stories.
Right now, this is my least popular story, bar none. And unfortunately, I'm no longer quite as interested in continuing it, anyway. The Good Life, my Zootopia x Bad Guys crossover only has two more chapters until it's done, so I plan on finishing that, and then I'm sticking with two concurrent stories. Right now, that's my Wings of Fire story, Glorious Politics, and my Godzilla story, The One Who Lost His Way. Both of which are extremely popular in their respective archives and I enjoy writing immensely.
As of now, I have no plans to come back to this one in the foreseeable future even when I finish one of the other two. Glorious Politics is going to be finished next, but I've another Wings of Fire story that I've been promising for over a year now that'll take its place. And The One Who Lost His Way is going to be a long one.
So again, I'm sorry for the abrupt cancellation. I know there's at least a few of you out there that were really enjoying it, but I've got to move on to other things now.
