Chen held the Focus Staff and the Rooster Booster when he went over an old plan he stopped doing ages ago. One that had him using these two Shen Gong Wu combined with another. A way to bring his father's goodness out without risking his health or his own goodness. To only remember a motto told to him by Master Monk Guan about oneKs inner mortal compress.

"A person has the potential for both good and evil." He recalled.

"I agree." Omi caught him off guard.

"Shouldn't you be at morning lessons?" Chen greeted Omi.

"Yes I should be there," Omi looked toward the obstacle course, "I watched to get checked in with you."

"It's check in." Chen corrected Omi.

He then laughed at Omi word confusion before telling him of a combo of Shen Gong Wu. That one could use another monk to realign their moral compass great personal risk. A plan he selfishly sort out when he was Omi's age without thinking out the consequences.

"Wow!" Omi couldn't believe Chen was that prepared.

"All I would have needed was the Arrow of Change." Chen looked at the Wu in his hands.

"Is there a way to follow through now?" Omi asked.

"Unless you want to lose yourself in this process," Chen put away the Wu, "I say do not attempt."

Omi thought for a second about Chen's warning as he stood in utter quiet reviewing the idea. To only agree that using three Wunat the same time without knowing the outcome. Would certainly come with drastic consequences for users if they were that desperate.

"Come on," Chen passed Omi, "If I don't get you back for lessons, Kaori or Master Fung will have my head."

"How would they have your head?" Omi follows him without understanding.

"I am saying I would be in trouble," Chen explained, "From keeping you from learning."

Omi would catch up to him in no time as they exit the vault side by side. Just who was waiting for them when they stepped out had Chen frozen in place. Willow used the excuse she was lost looking for the bathroom. Putting a smile on Chen the creeps and Omi a HUGE cringe vibe. Onward Chen would make Omi go on before him as he handled Willow. Omi tried to object to leaving Willow alone with Chen without a witness. What he got was sent back to his fellow monks by Chen.

"Any luck in catching her?" Kimiko asked him.

"No," Omi shook his head, "Chen was there taking inventory of the Wu."

"No go," Amber didn't like the news, "Like you couldn't catch her?"

Trent ended up shaking the obstacle course with his shock wave move. Got applause from Apikalia and Clay for the way he presented his move. Got the piece of pottery replaced by Kaori with Amber being called up. Amber ended up trading places with Trent as Ping Ping wondered where Willow was. Raimundo was willing to help look for her then focus. Which was becoming a major disappointment to Kaori and Master Fung of late.

"She's with Chen." Omi spoke when he last saw her.

"Told you," Clay hated being right, "let her go."

Crackling of lightning that Amber emitted before Raimundo could bring Willow up quieted him. He was then reminded of his role as a teacher now when Amber torched the ceramic before him. All the weeks he and his fellow Shoku Warriors have been molding the minds of these new monks. Way he acting over some girl? Made him feel a tad foolish since Willow had been stringing him along. Something he was just going to realize and needed Ping Pong to see.

"Hey," Raimundo addressed the ever quiet Ping Pong, "Little dude we need to talk."

"Yea?" Ping Pong's large, round eyes just full of innocence pulled at Raimundo.

"We need to talk little man." Raimundo knew this was be hard one.

Putting up with a hurting heart like Ping Ping wasn't easy with the battle they lost. Losing their temple at the hands of Willow and half their team was hard. Omi, Amber, Trent, sad Ping Pong and Apikalia with a hurt Chen felt crushed, but not out. Shu Yung was too busy trying to keep Dojo awake.

"We need to find Kaila of the Thousand Layer Mountain," Chen huffed out through the pain, "Where our hope rests."

"Is that aunt we always heard about?" Omi looked at everyone else.

"Yea," Chen breathed, "Just mom has been waiting for a moment like this."

Amber had to help Chen with his broken arm as carefully as she could with the way Shadow left him. Master Fung and Kaori weren't around at the moment to help treat him. One disappeared and the other one was taken away along with their Wu. Along with three of the Shoku Warriors during a one sided fight they were unprepared for. Had them wishing for the safety of their comrades while they had plans to make. Not knowing, a rarely used room deep within the lair of Chase Young held a slumbering Kaori. She was laying in the center of a bed that was a hand carved bed frame. One with a circular shaped opening on the opposite side of an interwoven pattern. Fresh covers covered her form from the eyes of someone watching her. That someone came in the form of Chase for the entrance of his own bedroom. He long since lost track of how long he was standing there just watching her.

"Didn't I tell you to leave me," Chase hissed at whoever dared come near this room, "Alone."

"Heard your Apprentice brought in the little sister of Kaila," Wuya sweetly addressed him, "Just wanted to see what she looked like."

"Why do I not believe you?" He wasn't moving out of her way.

"Come on," She looked over his shoulder, "Just one peek."

The growl of his cats was the answer she got when he still refused to move out of her way. Left her to give up on waking into that bedroom and torture Kaori to feel better. Wanting to lash out on relative of Kaila wasn't going to happen way Chase was going. She ended up backing away from him when the cats got in her way. Taking a hint that her past she shared with Chase wasn't going get what she wanted.

"Whatever is happening with you," She warned him, "Reeks of her."

"Leave." Chase hissed.

She turned his back to her when she was escorted out of his lair by two lions. Leaving him to finally enter the room when she turned over to face him with her eyes fluttering. Slow movements of her chest gave him an inner relief that started to scare him. He didn't know he was worried about her health since Shadow brought her here. Not that he regret unleashing his fury on her when she returned with such a victory. Three out of the four monks turned into cats and destroyed the temple. Fact she brought along all kinds of Wu from the vault was an added bonus he credited Shadow. What laid out in his bed with her Xiaolin robes was an odd comfort he hadn't felt. In his prolonged life drew closer into the room with selected cats following. Onto the side of the bed closest to her he would sit to take in her shifting features. Something tugged at him to comfort her as she slept in his bed like quiet beauty. He fought when pulled away from the bed by forcely standing up and looking away. Not noticing three of his newest kittens surrounding her sleeping form one after another. Bigger one of the two with a blonder coloring and brightest blue eyes got nearest her. While one with a leaned body curled up with one mix of black and yellow fur.

"Even as my servants, " Chaseed was amused, "You still chose someone else over me."

Wanting to pick one of them up by the scruff of their neck wasn't as fun as he thought it would be. Bigger one of the three hadn't given him much of a reaction since being brought here. He was more depressed than easily entertained by the other two he came with. Half the time he would be seen near his more Polynesia warriors and samurai. Where he found comfort in their presence when not moping around. This bothered Chase since Shadow spoiled Kimiko. Raimundo tended to wander around and knocked things over in the throne of the lair. Only times they came together when brough there upon following him. Jumping on to the bed and surrounding a sleeping Kaori.

"At least some of the cats obey you." Chase watched.

He dare not reach toward her now without the three of them being protective of her. Which he learned when they first arrived and Shadow presented them. He was impressed with almost getting scratched by Raimundo and Clay.

"See you when you wake," Chase rose from his seat, "Until then …"

He tensed when he swore he saw her opening her eyes for a mere second when she moved. Close back up she shifted to her side when she lay on her side. Her hands landed on a softly purring Clay which placed a smile on her sleeping face. One that had Chase picking back up by exiting the room with the door closing behind him. He made sure to cast a protective spell of sorts on that door before leaving.
