,, Second Kira. Are you serious." Aizawa yelled shocked at what he just heard from Tenshi who calmly and dead serious stated the theory. All morning since she arrived in the Task Force she had been listening to all four tapes that were confiscated a few nights ago since the fourth tape was released with a negative response from the police. The only ones who weren't surprised by this statement were L and Naomi who came to the same conclusion, but because of L's stupid habit of testing the people around her Tenshi was the first to say this. ,, Dead serious Aizawa. What's more, I don't understand how you didn't figure it out yourself." Tomoko replied sarcastically with the last part of her sentence, watching Naomi out of the corner of her eye as she motioned for her to continue even though the others were still disturbed by her presence. ,, Think for a second. Does this sound like something the original Kira would do to you? He killed innocent people who were not in his way just to prove his powers, and besides, based on the tapes, this Kira seems more like someone who idolizes the original Kira and by the way possesses the same "powers" as the original. He is also seen trying to prove that he is Kira, while the original is more of a type that lets his actions speak for him."

Tomoko took the cup of coffee that Watari brought her before they started talking and took a few sips and then continued with Alice's story with a more relaxed expression. ,, Also this Kira only needs a face to kill. If the original had the same ability why didn't he use it until now." Everyone in the room was speechless when she stated that fact that refreshed a couple of forgotten little things. Naomi looked at Tomoko with a slight smile and then looked at Aizawa who was seething with anger, as if she telepathically told him,, I told you so, probably because of some of their previous arguments. Naomi raised her hand and this time with an emotionless face said. ,, I agree. This Kira acts more like a fangirl than the original Kira." After that, all eyes were on L, until the guys waited for the ,,judgment,, to see if it was Naomi and Tomokouprava or if it was just some stupid thing they are doing to annoy Aizawa for the hundredth time. ,, The probability that it is the second Kira is about 70 percent. I have to admit that I don't like how the other Kira works either, but if we could somehow catch him and make him show us how to kill, we would be closer to capturing the first one." He then paused and turned his gaze towards Chief Yagami and in an indifferent tone.

,, Chief Yagami, I would like to ask your permission to ask your son to join us in the investigation." At that moment a spark of hope could be seen in his eyes that his son was cleared of suspicion after all along with the words. ,, Does that mean Light is no longer a suspect if you let him join us." And as always, L without the slightest hesitation dashed all the hope that appeared in the boss by continuing to explain further what he was planning. He especially emphasized that they must not give away that they already suspect there is another Kira, and that Tenshi will play the role of L so that everyone will be ready to follow her orders as long as Light is with them. Naomi also had to take initiative with the disguise as well as minimize contact with Light in case she started to suspect something, ie. to the fact that Shoko Maki is actually present among them. Tomoko didn't mind such plans as she was used to keeping subjects under close supervision as she knew how to get them to talk and get them to talk by subjecting them to constant pressure.

Unfortunately she knew that Light could take such conditions as a joke and would not let anything come out to protect the fact that he was Kira and would try to manipulate the situation to his advantage. The others didn't like this plan at all for a number of reasons, but they didn't have much of a choice considering that two serial killers appeared who were impossible to trace without knowing exactly how they manage to kill people without being present. At the speed of light after his father's call, Light appeared in the room with all of them and immediately threw himself into listening to the tapes together with L, while everyone else watched carefully from the back, after explaining the basic rules to them. While the others couldn't notice anything suspicious, Tomoko, thanks to her cat sense, could smell Light's anger that he was desperately trying to hide behind his mask.

A few hours later, Tomoko didn't know what was more creepy. The fact that somehow Light and L matched up and took turns completing each other's sentences while explaining that it was the other Kira or that she constantly felt the presence of the shinigami, and she could have sworn his eyes were on her. ,, Very good gentlemen. We've come to the same conclusion." Light immediately went into deanseive surprised mode, trying to act innocent. On the other hand, L-no Ryuzaki kept to his character by showing almost no emotion, but just flatly demanded that he explained the reason for this kind of testing and why they are here in general. The rest of the task force were surprised as well as they started to let their guard down regarding Light. Tomoko then divided the tasks between Ryuzaki and Light. Light was preparing a fake message to capture the other Kiro , while Ryuzaki prepared everything to record the message, he was practically acting as a computer geek. And the first people protested why Tomoko was doing that, while for Ryuzaki this was fine because he had planned it too, but of course the others present had to make a fuss about it. Tomoko answered everything simply, "You expect me to leave the writing of a message to someone who goes out into the sun more often than meets people." everyone immediately burst out laughing, understanding what Tomoko was trying to say, and Ryuzaki's white skin only confirmed the words.,, Besides, you always have a lot to say, so here's your chance to use it." There was no way he was going to miss something like this. opportunity without making a joke at their expense and brightening up the situation a bit, which seemed to please almost everyone except Ryuzaki. The man was looking at her like she stole the cake right in front of him, and it seemed like he was going to kill her for it. Tomoko didn't care for that, although she was sure that he would pay her back later, but it was worth it in her opinion. Tomoko gave him a mocking look and addressed him. "It's not my fault that your social security number is one." I knew that later he would try to somehow get the lady back, but the opportunity was too good to pass up. And his look was priceless, which Tomoko enjoyed every time she somehow managed to throw him off his train of thought. Everyone around her either smiled or laughed at her last statement as well as the face Ryuzaki made as they went back to the tasks she had given them, leaving Ryuzaki and Light more or less alone. Or so they thought.

Light's POV

Luck is still on my side. Thanks to this trick from the other Kira, I got access to the Task Force, but I didn't like the thought of someone else with a Death Note next to me with shinigami eyes. This guy made me sick to my stomach, I don't know if it's because I'm actually real, but this is a complete disgrace, for everything Kira stands for. But that doesn't matter now. Now the most important thing is that I find him first and get rid of him without making Tenshi even more suspicious of me. It's a good thing that Ryuga is somehow involved in this case, because it makes it possible that the attention is not focused only on me, and that if it gets crowded, I somehow manage to transfer more suspicion to him and thus make the others get off my tail for a while. But I have to be very careful. Even though I haven't heard him talk too much or don't know much about him in general it makes him dangerous. And considering that his motives and why he agreed to cooperate with Tenshi were unclear, it made the situation quite complicated. But on the other hand, he doesn't know much about me either, so curiosity and questioning would be something completely normal for a normal person. And assuming his social skills are zero like Tenshi says, this character won't be too much of a problem if I play my cards right of course. When I finished writing my message to the other Kira, I turned to Ryuzaki who was ready to start recording the tape and was patiently waiting for me to finish, while the others examined the other evidence and Tenshi was finishing something on one of the computers without paying much attention to us.

,, Hey Ryuug- sorry Ryuzaki." I corrected myself to sound more believable as I still don't know the full ability of this guy. I'm a little sad that he's one of the suspects too but better. Ryuzaki focused his gaze on me and let out an Hmmh sound . ,, What made you join the investigation? It's obvious that you don't like crowds or drama anywhere near you. What interests you so much about this case, or rather, why does it interest you so much?" this way even if one of the others is listening to what we're talking about and following the conversation, it won't seem at all suspicious to me. Unless Tenshi pulls out some new theory unknown to the world and up her sleeve. ,, Good question. You could say I'm curious." This wasn't too surprising but I have to admit I wasn't quite expecting this. "Curious you say." Ryuzaki nodded rubbing his cuticles and then continued with his story.

,, You see Light, I don't have any special hobbies or mezzanines in my academics, the only reason why I'm at that university at all is that my family thinks that I should develop social skills that are completely non-existent. But what intrigues me are mysteries and cases that are difficult, almost unsolvable." He seems to be here out of sheer ambition, he's clearly very intelligent and quick to analyze. I have to admit that my life doesn't depend on this and this would be much more exciting to me too. ,, Also, Kira uses a very interesting way to kill her victims without simply having to be present, even controlling them, leaving no trace behind. Wouldn't it be interesting to find answers to these questions. And as a bonus we're working with the world's best detective, although I'm a little creeped out by her and the way she's looking at us." He said glancing at Tenshi out of the corner of his eye with a sharp look.

This was good for me since he seems to hate her more than I do. So there was a small chance that they would somehow work together, it was slim. Ryuzaki never once showed any curiosity about me or asked any questions, nothing. L would do it, Tenshi did it, and my father would never lie to me either. "I know what you mean, she's so unpredictable and when she looks at me I feel like I'm guilty even though I'm not." I joked as Ryuzaki looked through my message. I slowly began to see why Tenshi suspected him too. Although he praises his social skills, everything else seems to be subpar. But no one is better than me. That's the reason for the protection they haven't found out yet. "I see you've finished since you've started chatting and slacking." I restrained myself from jumping out of the armchair I was sitting in, only letting out a gasp of surprise as a cold sweat poured over me in seconds. I didn't even notice when she approached us and she was right between me and Ryuzaki just a step back. Ryuzaki also showed signs of surprise, only much milder than I did. This guy seems like someone just called him how calmer it seemed while my heart was still trying to calm down. ,, Jesus... Tenshi, I thought only Kira kills with heart attacks." Tenshi didn't pay attention to my comment at all, she just looked at my message. It only took her a few seconds to read and then she commented.

,, Who would have thought that I hurt your pride so much with the comment from before. You are not used to being put down by anyone, do you." This time there was a mocking sneer on her face, it was obvious that she was trying to provoke me and was just playing with me.

I'd better not fall for this and make her doubt me even more. ,, Oh, sorry about that, it seems I got a little carried away, trying to be as convincing as possible." Anyway, she ignored me and simply left the puke to Ryuzaki, ok my father didn't address us. ,, Tenshi, Light has class tomorrow , if you don't need it anymore it's getting pretty late." Of all times, now was the time to intervene. But let's face it, this was all enough for one day. I have gone over all the evidence that has been collected so far as well as a lot of information for the other Kira.

L's POV

When I was sure Light had gone and finished recording the message tape, I joined the others who were waiting for me and sitting at the coffee table. It seemed like everyone let their guard down as far as Tenshi was concerned despite their comments before we put on our so called little show. When they noticed me, everyone fell silent and focused their attention on me. Everyone except Tenshi who had her smile on her face and was drinking coffee as if nothing serious was happening.

Tenshi intrigued me more and more each time she joined us, but her redundant comments got on my nerves a bit. Just as I took my seat, Naomi joined us from the hotel room next door, taking a seat next to Tenshi. "The tension was so high I could feel it through the video," Naomi began. Of course, no one wanted to bring up the topic of Light being the prime suspect anymore, and talking wouldn't solve anything. "So, the only thing we have to do is wait for the other Kira to respond and hope that he somehow spits out some information?" Chief Yagami asked hesitantly. We were more likely to catch the second Kira than the first. Based on the way he worked, it was clear that he wasn't thinking about every detail like the original, so there was a chance we could catch him quickly. Before I could say anything Tenshi intervened as usual. She obviously knew how to hunt for timing. "Oh he will leave us a mark, we don't have to worry about that." She replied in a monotone but confident voice keeping her eyes closed. The others were confused by her confidence, not seeing that she had a point.

"Tenshi is right." I said putting a handful of sugar in my cup. The others were trying to see how this trap of ours could actually give a big clue. "Could someone please tell me exactly what to expect instead of just blindly guessing and coming off as dumb as usual." Matsuda asked honestly as always. Sometimes he's too honest and childish that sometimes it's funny. But I admit , he persisted. ,, Look gentlemen, with this message we signaled that the original Kira managed to get to all the tapes as well as that he decided to make contact with him. Of course, the second Kira is less thoughtful and clumsy so he doesn't know very well to hide the trace he will leave for the original." I explained in detail. I hate unnecessary questions and I hate him repeating the obvious even more. "Then let's just use it and catch him ourselves and Boom." Closer to just catching the original." Moggy declared enthusiastically, jumping from his seat to his feet, with his "bringing it close" look. "I hate to spoil your celebration, big guy, but you overlooked two things." Tenshi literally shattered the cheerfulness of a few seconds ago, but with a right. The fact that we have a plan does not mean that the second kira or the original will fall into our hands.

,, First, although the fake is more sophisticated, it does not mean that it is that stupid. We couldn't find much on the tapes except that they belonged to a female person or someone with small hands. I can guarantee that someone did it for him, because it would be too easy and stupid, when he/she can control people.,, Looks like Tenshi isn't as far behind Light and me in intelligence as I thought. And her sharp observation was spot on. This almost said that she is a good strategist, which will be helpful and further, because I doubt that any kira will give up his power just like that.,, Secondly, the person in question is a female somewhere between seventeen and twenty-five years old. As Naomi said last time. It's a fangirl, and such people are ready for crazy and dangerous things when their idols are in question. It makes them docile pawns who can be quite a nuisance." Naomi nodded her head in agreement with Tenshi looking lost in thought as if she was trying to do something.

The others seemed suspicious of her statement, which was a very strong possibility but not enough. solid information to lean on, but not weak enough to write off. What she stated was an intuitive guess. "That's a very good theory Tenshi, but we're going to need a lot more than guesswork to accurately identify either of them." I criticized her theory to which she just shrugged like she didn't care at all what I said. "No matter how we turn it, the only thing we can do now is wait," Mogi said dejectedly, with a breath as everyone had a sense of uncertainty written all over them, because waiting is the hardest part. Tenshi stretched her arms above her head and slowly stood up on her feet and headed for the exit.

"Hey, where are you going?" Tenshi suddenly turned to Chief Yagami and from a relaxed expression opened for a few seconds her face had a look that spoke loudly, seriously,.,, Instead of sitting here and waiting for the fake Kira to take pity and send the video as soon as possible, I plan to do a little digging myself on the field. After all the fake Kira doesn't know of my existence, so it's relatively safe for me to move among the crowd." Tenshi answered him with sarcasm in her voice.

She then turned her head towards Naomi and with a small smile nodded her head to Naomi who returned the same gesture and then continued towards the exit door with words. ,, Oh I almost forgot, don't do anything crazy. You were lucky to get out of the TV station fiasco alive." And then she walked out. Her words caused a heavy atmosphere between us because they were true, Ukita could have ended up like the police who tried to rush to Chief Yagami's medical condition. It wasn't exactly the best thing to jump into action and be exposed to that much stress. No matter how intellectually inferior the fake was to the original, his power was greater than the original.

"Has anyone else noticed anything about Tenshi?" Naomi asked the others who were looking at her uncertainly. There are many things that could be said about Tensha and her unusual way of working, but primarily Naomi was referring to. "That she's probably a spy or an FBI agent? Yeah, I noticed." The others suddenly turned to stone looking surprised at my statement as Naomi nodded her head confirming my statement. "Ryuzaki?" I suppose it's surprising for them when they don't come in contact with the special forces often, so they don't recognize the signals.,, Her way of walking,,, Not her whole movement is so that she doesn't make a single sound and her movements are often fast as well as imperceptible. The ease with which she changes her personality and how believably she can act, I believe there is no lie detector capable to detect her. She's definitely over the moon for this kind of thing." Naomi seemed to have the same opinion. After all, she had gone through a similar training regimen and was with the other agents every day and picked up on the little cues that agents give to recognize each other. Naomi continued to explains what signals Tenshi gave off that pointed to her profession. This just raised more questions about Tenshi. Maybe I'll ask Watari to review the database of all former and current FBI agents, because something tells me that Tenshi is somehow related to them.
